My husband and I went with my parents and it was a great time!! Theo made the pick up very easy. I was worried about the pick up process but Theo texted me the night before and confirmed the details. He tracked our ship name so that he picked us up at the right terminal. We were all concerned about booking a tour outside of the cruise ship, but this was a great value and so much more laid back than a large tour group through a cruise.

The Corinth Canal is a waterway that crosses the narrow isthmus of Corinth to link the Gulf of Corinth to the Saronic Gulf. As such, the canal separates the Greek mainland from the Peloponnese, turning it into an island The canal, though executed in the late 19th century, has been a 2000-year-old dream. Before its construction, ships in the Aegean Sea that wanted to cross to the Adriatic or anchor in Corinth, a rich shipping city, had to circle the Peloponnese, which would prolong their journey an extra 185 nautical miles. It is believed that Periander, the tyrant of Corinth (602 BC), was the first to conceive of the idea of digging the Corinth Canal. As the project was too complicated given the limited technical capabilities of the times, Periander constructed the diolkos, a stone road which allowed ships to be transferred on wheeled platforms.

They arrived packed in twos on a ship from Alexandria, Egypt and were found submerged on the floor of the Temple of Isis on the south pier of the harbor. These are colored sections of glass reminiscent of today's stained glass windows. In them we see harbor panoramas, exotic landscapes, animals and plants, full-length figures of philosophers such as Homer and Plato, ships and geometric decorative bands Imperial statue in the type of Zeus (mid 2nd century BC) Epinician stele with a portrait of the Corinthian musician Lefkios Cornelius (150 AD) Animal figurines. It is worth noting the golden figurine of a bull, a vow to the Sanctuary (6th BC century) Commercial amphorae from Isthmia, Rachi, Kechrees. Cult and weapon offerings. Artifacts from the Mycenaean cemetery of Almira and the Roman cemetery of Rachi Koutsogila Cenchreon
At a short distance from the Corinth Canal, the largest technical project in our country in the 19th century, we find a place that has a glorious history, given that the second most important sports competitions were held there not only in Greece, but also throughout the ancient world, the Isthmians. It is located in a topical and pivotal position at the point where the Peloponnese joins Central Greece. The presence of the Apostle Paul in the Isthmian region is considered very important and the reference made in the Bible about his presence at the Isthmian games was very important because it is the first official presence of a Christian at the games. The apostle Pavkos worked at the Isthmian games as a tent maker for the accommodation of athletes and visitors to the Isthmian games, which were the second most important games after the Olympic games in Ancient Olympia. The apostle Paul proclaimed the son of Christ in the eyes of the visitors and athletes of the games, his action helped

tour of the ancient Corinth archaeological site Corinth was a city-state on the Isthmus of Corinth, the narrow stretch of land that joins the Peloponnese to the mainland of Greece, roughly halfway between Athens and Sparta. For Christians, Corinth is well known from the two letters of Saint Paul in the New Testament, First and Second Corinthians. Corinth is also mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles as part of Paul the Apostle's missionary travels. In addition, the second book of Pausanias' Description of Greece is devoted to Corinth. Ancient Corinth was one of the largest and most important cities of Greece, with a population of 90,000 in 400 BC. The Romans demolished Corinth in 146 BC, built a new city in its place in 44 BC, and later made it the provincial capital of Greece.

Conference and Meeting Space Isthmia, also due to its current geographical position, was a place of conferences and gatherings. The most important events that took place here are the following: 481 and 480 BC gathering of Greek cities to deal with the Persians 337 BC Philip II is proclaimed commander-in-chief of the Greeks. 336 BC Alexander the Great is proclaimed commander-in-chief of all Greeks. 302 BC Dimitrios Poliorkites is proclaimed ruler of Greece. In 196 BC the Roman ruler Titus Kointos Flamininus declares during the Isthmian wars the self-governing and free states of Corinthia, Phocia, Lokra, Evia, Magnesia, Thessaly, Peraiva, while Corinthia becomes the seat of the Achaean Commonwealth. The monuments are numerous:
Kechries is a village in the municipality of Corinth in Corinthia in Greece, part of the community of Xylokeriza. It takes its name from the ancient port town Kenchreai or Cenchreae (as mentioned in the Bible), which was situated at the same location. Christianity also arrived at Kenchreai early in the religion's history. According to Acts 18:18, the Apostle Paul stopped at Kenchreai during his second missionary journey, where he had his hair cut to fulfil a vow, probably a Nazirite vow. Paul mentions the place and a woman named Phoebe in the local assembly in his epistle to the Romans “And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.” In Acts 18
Temple of Apollo, Ancient Corinth, Corinth 20007 Greece The Temple of Apollo at Corinth was constructed in 550 BC. Temple of Apollo: One of the earliest Doric temples in the Peloponnese and the Greek mainland with monolithic columns, rare in the ancient world, built around 560 BCE.
During Paul‘s stay in Corinth, he was brought for judgment before the proconsul Lucius Junius Gallio Annaeanus, also known as Gallio, on the accusation of conducting illegal teachings. Gallio, however, refused to judge what he considered to be a mere religious dispute among the Jews. According to tradition, the site of Paul s trial was the Bema, a large elevated rostrum standing prominently in the centre of the Roman Forum of ancient Corinth and from where the city’s officials addressed the public. Probably because of the monument’s connection to Saint Paul, the Bema was transformed into a Christian church during the Byzantine period.

Stelio’s was an outstanding guide. A very careful driver in a comfortable van. We had an amazing experience, we learned SO much! Stelio was full of information and was ready to share all he knew. All of the stops we made were perfect in learning about St Paul in Corinth. Please that him once again for this amazing day.
We had a terrific day with Stelio's. He was very kind, so knowledgeable and took us to all the places we didn't get to see on our other tours which didn't focus on any religious aspects. He also took us to a great restaurant for a late lunch
Andreas was a great guide! He was quite knowledgeable, willing to share his extensive knowledge and did it with professionalism mixed with a bit of humor. I am so glad we chose the tour Footsteps of St. Paul. I learned so much about the life of St. Paul.
Very interesting and informative. The tour took much longer than was expected though no one in our group had any conflicts so it was great to see all that we were able to.
We had such a great day with Aris! He was knowledgeable, fun, and made the history really come alive. We learned so much about Paul’s journeys and visited some amazing sites. Lunch at Marinos in Old Corinth was delicious. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
It was an amazing experience as a first visit to Corinth, Athens and thanks to Aristidis for supporting, guiding us throughout the tour and giving information of all the places we visited with much useful information regarding Paul’s missionary journey.
Hands-down, the best guided tour I’ve ever been on. Our tour guide, Christos, was extremely knowledgeable, interesting, and warm. He’s a fantastic storyteller of history & how it pertains to the bible specifically. Very engaging & entertaining. 100% recommend! 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had an amazing time on our Saint Paul Tour. Nikos was a great driver and tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and gave interesting facts for each location. Would recommend if you want to add a visual to your Acts or Corinthians reading of the Bible!
Great guide full of historical info. Leisurely paced and flexible. Great customer service
Our guide Aris was excellent. We are so glad we took this tour. Aris was knowledgeable about the historical and biblical facts around Apostle Paul’s journey from Athens to Corinth. Each step of the trip was more fascinating than the previous step. The car was very comfortable, spacious and we felt safe during the entire trip. Lunch at Marino’s, a mom/pop restaurant, in Old Corinth was delicious and inexpensive.
Was a very good tour, got to see all the sights of Apostle Paul in the area which was breathtaking and a truly amazing experience. The guide Theodore was very organised, lovely and knowledgeable not only on the biblical side of things but on Athens aswell.
Excellent tour. Our guide, Andreas, was awesome. Very passionate about what he does. Took us to a great restaurant for lunch in Corinth as well. Really impactful tour for Christians.
This is a wonderful experience to all who desire to get a sense of what Paul did as he travelled, following his call to bring Jesus to the world! While the sites were wonderful to see, our guide, Eros, provided so much background information. Listening to how Paul so strategically interacted with those he came into contact with, working along side them, laboring together, made him come alive! I feel blessed to have experienced this!
Theo, our tour guide, was awesome! We saw amazing sites and he was very informative. He picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off at the ship port, so convenient because he stored our luggage in his van.
Dimitris was an excellent guide! He is knowledgeable and told us interesting information. A highlight was going to the sea where Paul baptized people. Don’t miss out on taking a tour with him!
Theo is a great tour guide. The Footsteps of Paul came to life with his commentary and the many sites he took us to. Our tour was several hours. The weather was perfect too and the food at the Corinth site was also.
It was an excellent tour from beginning to end. Stelios picked us up exactly as scheduled in a very comfortable Mercedes van with plenty of space for the 4 of us. He gave us detailed historical information on our hour-long drive to Corinth. Once near the ancient site of Corinth, he gave us step by step tips about the important points within the site, as he was not allowed to go into the site with us. (Only certified guides are allowed). But we had plenty of knowledge for our self-tour and visited the spot where Paul had to appear before the Roman Consul and was immediately released. After a lunch (on our own) at a restaurant Stelios recommended, where we enjoyed a few Greek items with an excellent glass of Greek wine, we made a few additional stops including the port where Paul entered Corinth and the gorgeous St. Paul and St. Peter church. Our last stop was to view Acrocorinth, the fortification overlooking ancient Corinth and the site for the filming of the recently released film, Odyssey. An impressive structure and a perfect last stop on our wonderful tour!
We really enjoyed the experience and our guide was very knowledgeable, but we were a little surprised that we had to pay to get into the ruins of Ancient Corinth and that portion was self guided. Our driver was very helpful and thoughtful to make sure that I was back at our hotel in time for a 5 PM commitment.
Great experience! Very informative and fun! A great way to see details of the early church and sites of Athens / Corinth.
Stelios is an amazing tour guide. Our visit to St. Paul's footsteps was wonderful and fantastic. He is charming and knowledgeable.
This tour was the best day of our two-week vacation! Theodore was wonderful and answered questions along the way. He is knowledgeable and provided tons of information about Paul and his life and travels. He went out of his way to make sure our day was perfect. Thanks Theodore!
This was an amazing tour! Christos made history and the Bible come alive with his in-depth knowledge of the area, Paul, and the Bible. It was truly inspiring and amazing to see the places I've read about in the Bible. Christos was an exceptional driver and guide; he tailored the tour to meet our wishes, and took the time to get to know us. He cares very much about his tourist clients. This was the highlight of our trip to Greece. Christos was as excited about the places we visited as we were, even though I know he has been to these sites many times. This tour was a blessing and so is Christos!
Exceptional, a memory never to be forgotten. Historical knowledge unmatched, personable, and met all the needs of our group above expectations. Would recommend to any and all who show interest.
Theo was the a pleasant host and tour guide. He shared great information, and made a rainy day most special.
Christos was awesome. So full of knowledge and very personable. I wanted to pack him up and take him on the rest of the trip with us. We learned so much but had a blast learning it. Best guide ever!
Listen. When Christos showed up he came with joy. From the beginning to the end nothing but valuable knowledge. Knowing the bible was a strong point. We had 8 in our group and all of us learned so much. If you plan on this tour I would highly recommend you demand to have Christos. Funny, knowledgeable and went above and beyond. Thank you Christos Michael
Our guide, Chris (Christos) was amazing! He was so full of knowledge about Corinth and Paul's experiences. He made stories in the Bible come to life! We didn't feel rushed at all as he allowed us to take as much time as we wanted to spend at each of the historic sites he took us to. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if Chris is your guide!
I had a wonderful tour to Corinth with Christos. He is very knowledgeable about Greek history and in particular about Paul and his ministry in Corinth Christos gave us ample time at every stop. I never felt rushed Christos is personable and looked after the group very well I highly recommend Christos and the Footsteps of St Paul in Corinth tour.
The locations were perfect but then knowledge that Christos share was unmatched! In depth, historical and adapted when he heard more about our interests! Will not be able to find another guide with his extensive and detailed knowledge of the area!
Well worth the time! Seeing historical sites that have significance to Christians is especially meaningful. Sometimes overwhelming. Our tour guide was especially patient with us, answered questions as well as he could and gave us plenty of time to explore and eat.
I've done a lot of traveling over the last 20 years and have had the privilege of seeing many sites with numerous guides. I have to say that the Corinthians tour of St. Paul's Footsteps was the most memorable and meaningful tour I've ever experienced. This was not only because of the incredible historic sites but also because of Christos, the guide who made this experience so magical through the sharing of his extensive knowledge! He brought every single historical place alive, giving fresh perspective and understanding to the Biblical stories I heard as a child and learned over the years. I will always cherish the impact of this tour on my life, and I couldn't be more grateful to Christos for making it possible!
Theo was fantastic and did a great job explaining the footsteps of Paul. I would highly recommend him and this trip.
Our experience was amazing! Our guide Cristos was so well educated and informative on all matters related to St Paul’s journeys to Athens and Corinth. He was humorous and kind, always attentive to our needs.
There is a lot to see on this tour and absorb. There is a lot of traffic in Athens which makes for a long day
Our tour guide Cristos was the most knowledgeable, kind and funny guide we have ever had! He knew ancient Greek, and Roman history and was well informed and studied on St Paul and his influence on Christianity in Corinth. He was exceptional. Not to be missed tour with Cristos if visiting Athens!

Highly recommend this tour and especially Christos.
Amazing, the pick up was so easy. Theo was our guide and he made everyone feel part of a big group instantly. He was very knowledgeable at every stop. He asked us each if we were in a hurry and we all said no so he gave us additional time at each stop which we appreciated! It was an amazing day
Theo was a great guide to visit the sites of Paul in Corinth!
Theodore was an excellent guide. Sharing his knowledge of the tour stops, making us laugh and enjoy the experience.
This is an awesome tour! It brings Paul & Bible history to life, we learned so much! I highly recommend this tour!
We had a wonderful time and our guide, Christos, was super amazing! I highly recommend.
We had aristidis as guide, and he did well.
very informative about the religious influences in greece; gets you off the typical tourist path in athens; outstandiing archeological site and museum in corinth (that alone made the trip worth it); drive time was a bit long, but nothing you can do about that
Christos was excellent! Learned so many interesting historical facts about Paul and his time in Corinth. Lunch was the best food we have had so far! You will not be disappointed, book this one!!
Christo’s was excellent, highly informative on all aspects of St Paul’s travels and thinking, and a great driver. Highly recommended!!!!
Stelios did a great job sharing his knowledge of Greek culture during our tour. He went above and beyond to make this experience memorable. The vehicle was comfortable and the stops authentic. Paul is my favorite author and I so enjoyed getting to be in places he most likely was as well.
