Our driver and guide is very knowledgeable in the history of all the places he showed to us. He is also very nice and warmhearted. He also helped my friend to fix the damaged classes and sent us to a Chinese restaurant which is very good! We are fully satisfied with him and want to thank him for all he has done for us! Because of him we have a better impression on Athens and Greece!

The Acropolis of Athens, perched on a limestone hill in the heart of the city, is Greece’s most iconic ancient site and a universal symbol of classical civilization. Dating back to the 5th century BC, it was the spiritual and political center of ancient Athens. Dominated by the Parthenon, the Acropolis also features the Propylaea, Erechtheion, and Temple of Athena Nike—each showcasing the brilliance of ancient Greek architecture. Built during Athens’ Golden Age under Pericles, this UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrates the city’s devotion to Athena and its lasting contributions to democracy, philosophy, and the arts.
The grand entrance to the Acropolis, the Propylaea, is an impressive gateway built in the 5th century BC under the leadership of Pericles. Its majestic Doric columns and balanced symmetry mark the transition from the secular to the sacred. As visitors pass through, they follow in the footsteps of ancient Athenians who once climbed this path during grand religious festivals. (Included in the Acropolis & Slopes entrance ticket)
A small yet striking Ionic temple, the Temple of Athena Nike stands at the southwest edge of the Acropolis. Built around 427 BC, it was dedicated to Athena as the bringer of victory. From its position overlooking the Athenian coastline and the Saronic Gulf, it reminded citizens of Athens’ naval dominance and divine protection during wartime. Its delicate friezes and compact beauty make it a gem of classical architecture. (Included in the Acropolis & Slopes entrance ticket)
The crown jewel of the Acropolis, the Parthenon is a temple dedicated to the goddess Athena, protector of Athens. Built between 447 and 432 BC, it represents the pinnacle of Doric architecture and classical art. Its perfect proportions, sculpted metopes, and frieze showcase the craftsmanship of ancient Greek architects and sculptors, particularly Phidias. Even in its ruined state, it radiates power, harmony, and timeless beauty. (Included in the Acropolis & Slopes entrance ticket)
This elegant temple is known for its asymmetrical design and the iconic Caryatids — graceful female figures that serve as architectural supports. The Erechtheion stands on the most sacred part of the Acropolis, where, according to legend, Athena and Poseidon competed for the city's patronage. The temple honors both gods, as well as early Athenian kings, blending mythology and history in a uniquely intricate structure. (Included in the Acropolis & Slopes entrance ticket)
Discover the Herod Atticus Odeon, a striking open-air stone theater nestled on the southwest slope of the Acropolis. Built in 161 AD by the Athenian magnate Herodes Atticus in memory of his wife, this ancient odeon once hosted grand performances, echoing with music and poetry under the open sky. Today, its impressive arches and tiered seating remain a testament to Roman-era architectural mastery and serve as a cultural venue during the Athens Festival. Standing here, imagine the timeless performances that have graced this historic stage, all with the dramatic backdrop of the Acropolis rising above. (Included in the Acropolis & Slopes entrance ticket)
Step into the Teatro di Dioniso, the oldest theater in the world and the birthplace of Greek tragedy. Nestled on the southern slope of the Acropolis, this ancient theater was dedicated to Dionysus, the god of wine and drama, and served as the stage for the works of great playwrights like Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides. With its semicircular seating carved into the hillside, the theater could hold up to 17,000 spectators who gathered for grand performances and festivals. As you stand amid the ruins, imagine the voices and stories that once filled this sacred space, shaping the foundation of Western theater against the awe-inspiring backdrop of ancient Athens. (Included in the Acropolis & Slopes entrance ticket)
Stand before the Arch of Hadrian, or Hadrian's Gate, a monumental gateway in Athens, built in honor of Roman Emperor Hadrian in 131-132 AD. It marked the boundary between the ancient city and the new city developed by Hadrian. Made from Pentelic marble, the arch stands about 18 meters tall and blends Greek and Roman architecture. It features two inscriptions, one facing the Acropolis, reading "This is Athens, the ancient city of Theseus," and the other facing the new city, saying "This is the city of Hadrian, not of Theseus." It symbolizes Hadrian's influence on Athens.

Perfect tour, pickup was on time. Our guide was so knowledgeable about everything we saw. It turned into a rainy day, and he had umbrellas for us to use. Only regret, I wish I had booked a lot longer tour with him. So much to see in Athens! Highly recommend this tour company!
Driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. Car was very comfortable and clean. Got to see a lot of the city and learn fun facts. Good amount of time. Did not feel rushed. Felt safe. Good value for the money.
We saw the main places we most wanted to see. After visiting these places our driver, Vasilis, took us to the next site. He dropped us off near the entrances. Along the way he pointed out places of interest. Vasilis was knowledgeable and kind.
Kostas was the best driver, we had a great time in Athens, Kostas was very polite, helpful, and patient. I will definitely recommend this tour.
It was an amazing tour with such awesome information about Athens and Greek history. Our driver and tour guide Kostas Papadopoulas was excellent. He definitely passed on so much history of Athens and Greece. We would give him a 5 out of star, we could not be more pleased with his awesome personality and knowledge. Thank you Kostas.
Great day with a knowledgeable and entertaining driver.
We had a fantastic private tour of Athens with our amazing guide, Elias. We started the Sunday morning with a prompt pick up in front of our hotel, and we were picked up in a new e-class Mercedes stocked with drinks and umbrellas to use during our tour (which we needed!). Elias is a true history buff, and gave us so much information about all the historic sites as well as how the city of Athens works, in comparison to many US cities. He knows the city backwards and forwards and tailored the tour for us based on weather and our interests. We felt very safe, and appreciated how he drove us to the front of many sites to get in and out quickly. We were very impressed with Elias and would definitely book him again if we go back. Find Elias and his team!
The tour has an interesting itinerary including many of the well known sites with opportunities for sites of personal interest. I would not include a visit to the acropolis as a part of the tour as this takes up too much time. I would suggest doing it separately.
We had the perfect Half Day private tour in Athens with the company owner, who tailored our experience to what we needed. Despite the rain, we got to see so many different amazing sites throughout the city. Elias picked us up right on time, had great communication beforehand on Whatsapp, and greeted us with multiple drink choices (and handy umbrellas! to use while on the tour). He took us to some amazing views of the city with excellent photo opportunities, and showed us the Pireaus port and where the locals go. Elias has a true love for history, and he was able to tell us so many interesting facts about the historical sites as well as deep knowledge for the city. He has a very nice (new!) e-class sedan and drove very safely. He also introduced us to a freddo espresso, which is now a new favorite! We felt very safe and could have gone for another few hours with him because it was so interesting. I would highly recommend this specific tour, and especially Elias as a tour guide.
We really enjoyed our 5-hour tour of Athens! We visited the Acropolis, drove by the Olympic Stadium, walked through the charming Old Town, and saw Parliament. It was a great way to experience some of Athens’ most iconic sights and learn more about the city. Our driver was very nice, friendly, and accommodating. He was flexible with our plans and picked us up near where we had stopped to eat just down the street from our hotel. At the end of the tour, he also dropped us off at a restaurant near our hotel, which was very convenient and much appreciated. The only thing I would mention is that the tour was advertised as five hours, but since we were staying about an hour from the main sightseeing area, we spent approximately two hours driving to and from Athens, leaving us with about three hours to explore. This worked out fine for us, but it would have been helpful to know that in advance when booking so we could better understand how much time we would have for sightseeing. Overall, we had a lovely experience and appreciated the driver’s kindness and flexibility. I would recommend this tour, especially if you’re looking for a convenient way to see the highlights of Athens in a short amount of time. Just be sure to factor in the travel time if you’re staying outside the city center!
Elias was absolutely amazing and so very knowledgeable! He was willing to cater to our specific wishes and we saw so much, learned so much and now we are carrying home our wonderful memories of our tour in Athens with Elias!
Learned and saw the highlights of Athens in short of a time 4.50hours. Very good experience. Peter our tour guide is amazing!
I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone new to Athens, it gave all of us a great insight of where we wanted to spend more time. Driver was informative, on time and very pleasant.
Great day. Kostas Papadopoulos did a great job! Highly recommend this tour.
It is private and you can actually request to Modify the schedule for your your, I was able to add one location which was the only Catholic Church in Athens. The tour guide was very accommodating and spoke clearly. We enjoyed all the highlights of the tour. The visit was just right! I highly recommend it.
Took this tour with my family. Our tour guide, Peter was very knowledgeable and friendly! Definitely would recommend for anyone looking to tour Athens
Most of the time the driver is battling traffic. Route was mostly through the back streets. Could have been more streamlined. Felt like we were going back and forth from one side of the city to the other.
This was an outstanding tour. Elias was on target with the pick-up & our desires for the day. He had identified our past visits & things that might be new & also refreshers. It rained , but he made the tour amazing. For a 1st trip, this is a must. For returning Athens travelers, Elias gets it & will find what you want to see & what you want to eat. Fantastic driver, guide & guide!!
Excellent day. Our guide Peter was one of the best guides we’ve had over the years. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
We covered so much of Athens in a relatively short time frame. They made our acropolis tickets available before we went in so no need to wait to buy the tickets. We did all the acropolis on our own and had plenty of time to all in all a great day.
Guide was informative and fun. Lovely day
Great tour, the driver was flexible and gave us options on what to see and how long we wanted at each destination.
A great time was had by all. I would recommend this tour as it gave us an excellent overview of Athens and it's charms. We got to see the changing of the guards (so interesting) without all the crowds and plenty of time to see the Acropolis. Elias was a fun guide and very personable.
We had a family photo session in Santorini and the photos were great. Then we had a private car tour of Athens. Went to places I would not have thought of.
Very knowledgeable and saw a lot of different neighborhoods and landmarks
Our driver was awesome and was very knowledgeable of all the places in Athens, especially the Acropolis. I would definitely recommend this company if you want to take a private tour.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Private Tour with Thanos! Jackie and I had such a wonderful experience with Thanos as our private tour guide! From the beginning, he was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and made us feel completely comfortable. What we really appreciated was how personal the experience felt. Thanos didn’t just take us from place to place—he shared the history, culture, and stories behind what we were seeing, which made the tour so much more meaningful. He was patient, answered all of our questions, and made sure we had time to enjoy the sights and take plenty of pictures. Having a private tour was definitely worth it, and Thanos made the experience one of the highlights of our time in Athens. If you’re visiting Athens and want a knowledgeable guide who makes you feel like you’re exploring the city with a friend, we highly recommend Thanos! Thank you, Thanos, for making our day so memorable! 🇬🇷❤️ — Venecia & Jackie

Our driver was at the hotel on time and was attentive and knowledgeable. We had a great experience
Our guide was very nice and informative. He was early and gave us a great tour of Athens with time at the Acropolis. It was nice to have a private tour picked up and dropped off right at our ship.
We thoroughly enjoyed our half-day driving tour of Athens! Our guide, Petros (Peter), was fantastic! He was punctual, friendly, and very communicative. He knew all the ins and outs of driving and parking in Athens, making even stops at very crowded sites, such as the changing of the guard, a breeze. We especially appreciated his knowledge of everything we saw, as well as the personal stories he shared about Athens and growing up there. His insights and local perspective really added to our experience and made the tour that much more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens!
Vasilis did an exceptional job! He picked us up at our hotel and immediately started sharing the history of Athens. He was knowledgeable, personable and professional. We would recommend his tour to anyone that wants to see the sites of Athens with a personal touch.

Outstanding experience! Ellis was an amazing tour guide! He shared so much of Athens with us! Took us to great places, was super friendly, very knowledgeable and just enjoyable to travel through Athens with. I highly recommend this experience and if you can request Ellis, you will not be sorry!
We opted for the night tour our first night in Athens to see all the sights lit up in all their beauty. It was beautiful. We got out several times and walked around. Once was a little difficult as we didn’t know the place or how to get to the temple. Later on a day visit we saw the same place and understood it more. Our tour guide, I’m sorry I don’t remember his name, was very knowledgeable and informative on the things we saw. Stopped and let us watched the guards at the presidents house. Similar to tomb of unknown soldier. That was interesting if you’ve never seen it before. It was a very memorable experience.
We had the best tour. Our guide Aggelos was amazing. So Knowledgeable and very accommodating. He was so interesting. We enjoyed every minute of our tour. I strongly advise this tour if want to see the best of Athens in 5 hours.
I was in an accident day before so had to cancel tour last minute. I was given a refund which shows real character for a business to do that.
Peter was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited. He was flexible with schedule and made sure we were happy along the way. I completely recommend this tour.
