Best Of Athens City Segway Tour

There are 2-hour and 3-hour segway tours. The first 2 hours are the same on both tours. The 3rd hour adds on additional sites. Highly recommend doing the 3 hour segway tour. Vana was our tour guide. She is absolutely fantastic and unforgettable! She is professional, knowledgable, flexible with changing situations, and so much fun. If you get Vana for your guide, you are in for a treat!

You need a decent sense of balance but that’s it. The guide’s clear and concise directions show how easy it is. We are 60-somethings and we had a blast!

We started exploring Athens with this Segway tour. An easy way to get up and down the hills, see the main sites and get info on them. There were two of us on Segways and three others on 4 wheeled electric seated scooters. So if you have bad knees there is a way to still do the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and we had lots of stops to walk or stand while he explained about the area. I would highly recommend starting out Athens this was then going on to guided inside tours and museums.

We had a great time on this Segway tour of Athens. We were able to cover a lot of ground because of the Segway, including catching the changing of the guards.

Our Segway tour in Athens was one of the highlights of our trip! It was such a fun and unique way to explore the city and see so many beautiful sights without feeling rushed. The experience itself was amazing, but what truly made it special was our fabulous tour guide, Vanna. She was friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire tour feel personal and enjoyable from start to finish. We learned so much while also having a great time. Fantastic way to quickly see all the sites and neighborhoods of Athens, and also have fun along the way! Great tour guide, and spent just enough time at each stop. Getting a small taste of each area in only 3 hours leaves a lot of time open the rest of the day if you want to go back and explore any of the areas in depth. My daughter and I had an absolute blast!!

We had a great Segway tour of Athens today. Our guide, Demie, was knowledgeable, clear, and well organised, and did a very good job of balancing historical context with practical information about the city. The route was well chosen with enough stops to explain things properly without it feeling rushed as well as a coffee/toilet break. Overall, a really enjoyable and informative way to see Athens, and I’d happily recommend this tour with Demie to others.

A brilliant way to see tons of Athens sights that would take ages to walk to - and it’s lots of fun wizzing round on the Segway too! Dimitri was a great guide and really flexible: I’d already seen the Olympic stadium from street level, so he adapted the tour so we got to see it from the hill above. Highly recommended

We always love segway tours. They are the best way to see the city. Our guide was awesome, took us to some great spots and we had a private hour to ourselves because we booked a 3 hour tour instead of a 2 hour tour. That 3rd hour is highly recommended.

Demie is a fantastic tour guide. My wife and I have done numerous segway tours before but this one stands out as the best. The city of Athens is challenging to navigate due to the crowds and uneven terrain on a segway but Demie handled it with ease and professionalism. Not only did we explore the must see sites but she had some wonderful surprises for us as well. We highly recommend this tour for newcomers and experienced riders. Also, if you have the time we recommend the 3 hour tour.

The BEST way to see the top sights & sites of Athens. DON’T DO THE ACROPOLIS if you’re not an enthusiast! Or go after this tour where you’ll find the secret entry tips. We covered so much ground whilst having fun sailing up the hills and through the streets. You couldn’t walk it all & it’s more fun than a bike! Costas runs this business from his passion. He gave us just enough facts & history and kindly waited at certain spots, for us to get off and explore / get an icecream. Our 13yo loved the adventure & Costas, especially because he gave us extra time at the end to play with the segways! It was the first day of our trip & we all still rate it the best. On landing at Athens, we drove down to the Athens Capital Hotel, at the city center. Lunch was a refined dining experience at La Psteria, Kolonaki, in one of Athens most elegant neighborhoods. After some rest post lunch we boarded a coach for the city tour. Our first stop was at the Panathenaic stadium also known as the Marble Stadium. It was here that the first Olympic games were held. after a photo stop there, we spent time at the Monastiraki square, where we explored the flea market and an ancient temple. The Monastiraki square is at the foot hills of the Acropolis and offers a great view too. There are plenty of coffee shops and other stores selling everything from souvenirs to trinkets and clothing too. Post that we went closer to the Acropolis, where we had booked our table for a typical greek dinner- the Dionysis Zonar's Restaurant. The food was top notch and the setting simply eclectic. This Segway tour is the best way to explore the city, specially on a hot day!!! We covered so much ground and learned a lot from our guide Menelaos, he was amazing!! With a background in history and perfect English, he was great at answering all of our questions. We also got lucky to have a private tour with only the 4 of us so he was able to customize things along the way and gave us extra time to complete all the sites. Definitely recommend doing this tour for anyone visiting Athens, we were glad to not have to walk in the heat and my teenage boys had a blast driving the Segway around!

Based on a recommendation, we booked the 3-hour Best of Athens tour with our two 6 year-old daughters. It was the highlight of our kids’ trip and an amazing time for us parents. We took the four wheeler Segway so each girl was with a parent and it was very manageable and safe. I never rode a Segway, and felt comfortable by the end of our first tour stop. Demi, our tour guide, went above and beyond for us, she was amazing. Water was provided on the tour. She was very attentive to the kids and we learned so much about Athens in just a short period of time. This tour was great for us since this was a port stop on our cruise and we wanted to see as much of Athens as we could. We covered so much ground. Would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Was a great way to see around Athens and the guides were friendly and helpful at all times. Both parts of the tour was amazing and great company to book threw of U don't feel comfortable on a Segway U can use a 4 wheel buggy with a seat.

This was the highlight of our trip. There was a brutal heat wave during our stay, and walking around to sights would have been really awful. I'm so glad I pre-booked this activity, as it allowed us to move quickly around to many sights without building a sweat. Our guide provided information in a clear voice, and gave us ample time to take pictures and wander about the sights. Since we only had one day in Athens prior to a sailing trip, this activity was a perfect fit.

Dimi our guide was fabulous, fun and informative of the history and sites we experienced. There was just four of us in our group and she adjusted our itinerary to include some sites in our route that the group wanted to see. She found us shade to stand under, and made sure we had ample water to stay hydrated. With Athens being hilly this a great way to experience the city. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thank you Dimi!

We have started doing a Segway tour in all of the cities we visit. It is a great way to get around the city, see the highlights, local spots and hear a bit of history. If you are really interested in a particular spot, you can certainly go back later and spend more time, but usually there is plenty of time to see the sights and get great photos. Don't be afraid of the Segway, easy to use for just about anyone. Our guide had a great sense of humor and a lot of knowledge of the city.

We were greeted by Demi and Dimitri and both were fantastic, they gave us refreshers on how to use the Segway, Dimitri was an excellent tour guide and I highly recommend this to get around and see as many of the sites in Athens as you possibly can. It checked so many boxes in a 3 1/2 hour tour. It was a warm day and they brought plenty of water for the entire group. We had plenty of stops and photo opportunities and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Afterward, Dimitri gave us a terrific restaurant recommendation for a wonderful lunch at Thomas 1971.

My daughter and I lucked out and had just the two of us on this 3 hour tour so we were able to customize our tour a bit. We had seen some things previously, so Andreas added on a few neat side trips that we really appreciated. He always offered to take pictures for us or show us anything we wanted. We became pretty good on the Segways which are very intuitive to use and our 5-8pm tour was the perfect time as it was not super crowded which was nice. All in all, we got to see a TON of Athens and way more than we would have on a typical foot tour. Thanks Andreas for making our last day so special!!

Absolutely best way to see so much! I couldn't have walked it all and I'm a four-day-a-week gym workout person. Just ride to next stop, hear stories, ride to next, etc. You still hear and smell and feel everything. Not enclosed like a car or too fast like a bicycle or scooter. Operators were genuine and warm and English was perfect. Loved everything, and so affordable.

Definitely a highlight of our trip to Athens! The best way to see the city and to beat the heat. Vanna our guide was exceptional!

Milos met me at the office. I was pleasantly surprised to find they did not cancel this tour, as I was the only one scheduled. This was one of the best Segway tours I have done. I have done them in multiple cities and countries and really enjoyed this one. Milos was very knowledgeable and personable. He took me to a lot of different sites and shared the history of Athens. On a few stops, he encouraged me to climb to better vantage points to view the area, while he stayed with the Segways. 3 hours was a perfect way to get a vantage point of Athens.

Wonderful!! Menelaos was our guide and he was amazing! Very knowledgeable and also kind and helpful as I was a little nervous on the Segway. He went slowly and explained everything thoroughly. We were 100% happy and would HIGHLY recommend this tour!! We saw many beautiful things and learned a lot. We could have NEVER done all this on our own. Worth every penny!

First time riding a Segway, it was surprisingly intuitive and fun. My son (14) and I saw the main sights of the city and our guide was really friendly and informative. Definitely recommend :)
