We had such a great time at the Athens: Sculpt Your Greek Masterpiece Workshop! I did this experience with my 25yo daughter and it was so much fun!! Our instructor was incredibly patient and made the experience enjoyable for everyone. The group was small, which was perfect because we had plenty of time to work on our sculptures and get individual guidance when we needed it. And the studio… WOW! It was such a cool and inspiring space and really added to the whole experience. Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or even solo, I highly recommend this workshop. It was hands on, unique, and something completely different from the typical sightseeing experience. We absolutely loved it!

This was such a unique experience and definitely something I wouldn’t have thought to do in Athens. What made it even more special was hearing about the generations of the family who have been involved in sculpting and art. You could really feel the history and passion behind the craft. Mateo was a fantastic instructor. He was patient, encouraging, and made the experience fun regardless of your artistic ability. Not everyone in our group was naturally artistic, but everyone still had a great time and left with something they could be proud of. It was also really cool learning about the family's work on Assassin’s Creed and seeing the connection between their traditional craftsmanship and modern entertainment. And the wine cellar area was an unexpected surprise and added another layer to the experience. It was a really cool setting for something that felt both educational and hands-on. If you're looking for something different from the typical Athens sightseeing experience, I highly recommend this. You get to learn about Greek art and craftsmanship, try sculpting yourself, hear some incredible family history, and have a genuinely fun experience along the way.

This was one of the highlights of my trip to Athens. The pottery class was relaxed, fun, and welcoming from start to finish. We got to sculpt our own little heads, which was a really unique and creative experience, even for complete beginners. The host was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the session. They took the time to explain each step, offered guidance whenever needed, and created a friendly atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable. This was so fun and relaxing! I highly recommend this for groups of friends and couples! We aren’t artistic but we’re able to create adorable sculptures.

Really interesting thing to do, I'm not experienced at all but managed to turn out a piece of clay sculpture to take home under the tutor's guidance. Great surroundings and a little explanation of the history and context before we began. The time passed very swiftly! Definitely recommend

This experience—learning how to make a Hermes mask with Manos, a master artist—was one of the highlights of our trip to Greece. It was fun, funny, relaxing, and memorable, and it resulted in our best souvenirs. We all discovered that we need more art-making in our lives. And I am not only referring to the Hermes masks we made, but also the original jewelry we bought there as well. I HIGHLY recommend this for your next trip to Athens! Ευχαριστώ, Μανος!

Manos is a kind and patient teacher and very talented. In the first minutes you get to see how ancients used the pottery you see in all the museums and how they made wine. Then, in the simplest to follow classes I have ever taken, I sculpted a delightful little Greek god-ish likeness. Anyone, even the art timid people, can be happy getting their hands in clay (from Crete) and making a new treasure. It's the most relaxing and fulfilling activity to participate in... Learning one of the most ancient of all arts from human history, from one of the masters. ❤️

The owner Manos is the third generation of family sculptors. They put together a very unique and creative experience. My family enjoyed it. We learned his way that allowed us to work together but we each created unit clay head sculpture of “Hermes”

This was a highlight of our trip. Our instructor was beyond amazing, and everyone in our group successfully made a beautiful masterpiece. We learned so much about sculpting and wine making. You do not want to miss this wonderful workshop.

Manos (the instructor) is great, very good at pacing the class and allowing people to work at their own speed, and super at giving just the right level of support. Also, he has created a wonderful classroom/cultural space. Great class, really fun environment, lovely instructor.

Mano is a very talented artist and is super knowledgeable about Greek history. His family members are also historical artists and he’s clearly dedicated to his art, history, and helping people learn and make something really nice. He took us step by step through the process to make the facial sculpture of Hermes; the god who protects travelers-though mine totally came out looking more like Medusa. Sorry to Hermes. 😬 Mano is very patient, good at explaining, and great at helping us to adjust things when needed. He made the whole thing very fun and we’re so happy with the souvenirs we now get to take home. He scooped out the back and packed them in a box. We took them with up and just wait for them to dry and then can hang them and enjoy. A very fun way to spend the morning, we learned a lot, and were so glad to have met and learned from Mano. Thank you so much! 😊

By far one of the best experiences in Athens ! Must do if you re interested in art and want to explore more into Greek sculptures. Our instructor was knowledgeable and informed us on how ancient Greeks made wine and sculptures. He was also very patient with us and guided us step by step through the process of making the sculpture. In the end it was beautifully packed and given to us. Do it even if it's your first time making or creating art!

We had a great sculpture experience with Manos. He is a fantastic teacher - very patient and encouraging. He also had fun stories about providing the armor for Assassin”s Creed Odyssey. Highly recommend, even if you think you have no artistic ability!

Manos is an amazing instructor, he was very patient and kind, gave us many tips and a lot of personal attention, he even went beyond the designated time without rushing us. We were encouraged to be creative and had a lot of fun! All in all it was a really authentic Greek sculpting experience with great atmosphere.

Manos was wonderful sculpture and teacher. His studio offers a glimpse into the past and a look into the future. He is passionate about his work and sharing it with his students. Our sculpture class was a private session with just my husband and I. We had a great time,our sculptures made it home. Very cool Experience!!!

Wonderful experience with Manos, a gifted artist and winemaker. He was patient, kind and encouraging, as we built these fun sculpture.

This was one of the coolest activities we did in Greece as a couple. Manon was down-to-earth (no pun intended) and the experience was very fun ! My husband loves Ubisoft and Assassin's Creed, so meeting the creator of some of the props for the video games was super cool for him. And we get to keep a souvenir! Definitely recommend.

Awesome tutor Manos, great atmosphere, great explanation! Would gladly come more. As a fan of AC:Odyssey, knowing that this studio made all weapons for the game is just unbelievable and cool, totally worth the art class and the museum visit.

We think this is going to be counted as one of the highlights and most memorable experiences of our trip! We booked last minute and Manos accomodated a late evening class. When we arrived, he was standing on the street, waiting to greet us. The first thing he did was gave us a tour of his incredible gallery. There are three generations of sculptors in his family. They even did the helmets and swords for Assassins Creed which were so cool. I don’t wanna ruin the fun, but this gallery has so much to look at and enjoy. It’s so much more than just the sculpting class.. we don’t drink, but if we did, we definitely would’ve partaken in the wine that Manos makes! My husband and I had the most incredible experience making our clay masks. Manos gave us easy to follow directions and assisted us along the way. We couldn’t believe how great our projects turned out (Should we say we are incredibly talented?) All joking aside, we have beautiful creations that Manos carefully boxed up and will be taken home as incredible mementos of our trip to Greece. Like so many items we see in museums, this piece of art has a rich history now and we will consider it priceless. Give yourself a gift of this tour!

We were able to look at all of the art and make our own sculptures to take home. Our leader was a great teacher and we had a fun experience!

Lovely time. Was the only one there and Manos was very accommodating even when I was a bit late. Brief tour, then straight into it on a very fun way. Have enough guidance and I initially thought, when looking in advance, that it was perhaps an underwhelming end result but it really did feel worth it and fun + educational. I’d recommend!

It was great! We got clear instructions to build a human face out of clay ourselves. Our instructor helped us to finish the details on the faces. He's a great artist.

What can I say except we had such a fantastic time and enjoyed every second of the experience. I would recommend to anyone of any age. You won’t regret it!

This was a bit of a walk from our hotel in Kallithea, but the experience made it so worth it! My bf and I are big gamers and were thrilled to learn that Symposium made the blades and helmets for the live action Assassin's Creed Odyssey trailer. Manos was incredibly kind and patient as an instructor. He gave us a quick tour and background of his shop and explained each step of making our mold really well. While I wish mine came out better, I did much more than expected.

Manos was excellent ! He used a lot of pedagogy with a beginner like myself and the end result was super satisfying. Not to mention the unique space and cultural heritage he created 🇬🇷 I recommend this experience 100%

What a phenomenal experience. Manos is so kind, patient and talented. Upon arrival, he greeted me warmly then proceeded to give me a detailed tour of the gallery space which is very impressive. He is a 3rd generation sculptor and it’s evident as you see replicas created by him, his father and grandfather throughout the space. I enjoyed the sculpting workshop so much that I’d love to ask him if I can be his apprentice! Oh and I bought a bottle of wine and some jewelry at the end. The wine was beloved by my family and I am obsessed with the jewelry. Thanks again Manos.

A well designed crash course to take you back to the days of amazing artistry. The y take you through all the steps to ensure you have a well designed piece to take back home as a memory of this amazing course.

It’s worth the experience. Manos is very knowledgeable and helps you throughout the class. Tip-use the clay from the innermost part of the cube. My clay kept drying out.

This was such a fun creative way to relax in Athens. We were inspired by all the history and art in Athens to do an activity like this. Manos is a wonderful teacher and you can tell he loves his work. He has an impressive little set up with some his projects and gives you a nice overview of Athenian art before getting started with sculpting. My mom and I had never sculpted before and were very happy with what we made.

It was such a joy to experience something unique, that I haven't tried before. The teacher gave detailed advice about the intricate skills to sculpturing. We were able to sculpture a head figure of a greek god. It was also nice to be able to take a souvenir home to remember the experience.

Exciting to learn about the instructor’s role in the Assassins Creed game promo! Knows just when to jump in to help and just when to step back and let us work out our art pieces. Very easy to understand the artist’s instructions, I didn’t realize sculpting could be so basic and also engrossing. It was a nice break to sit and work on art (in a beautiful studio area!) after a full day in the city at the usual places of interest in Athens.
