Perfect way to see a lot of Athens while beating some of the heat by not walking. Our guide was knowledgeable and genuine. One person in our group didn’t feel comfortable driving so he let her ride with him. Such a great experience.

Itinerary
First station Odeon of Herodes Atticus. The Odeon of Herodes Atticus is a stone Roman theatre structure located on the southwest slope of the Acropolis of Athens, Greece. The building was completed in AD 161 and then renovated in 1950
Station 2 The Hill and Monument of Filopappou in Athens: Filopappou (or Philopappou) Hill is a green area to the southwest of the Acropolis. It is a favorite promenade of the Athenians and there you can have great views of the Acropolis, the whole city of Athens and the Aegean Sea that surrounds Attica. Also we are going to meet sokrates prison and loumbadiaris church
Station 3 The Pnyx is a hill in central Athens, the capital of Greece. Beginning as early as 507 BC (Fifth-century Athens), the Athenians gathered on the Pnyx to host their popular assemblies, thus making the hill one of the earliest and most important sites in the creation of democracy The Pnyx was used for popular assemblies in Athens as early as 507 BC, when the reforms of Cleisthenes transferred political power to the citizenry.
Station 4 The National Observatory of Athens is a research institute in Athens, Greece. Founded in 1842, it is the oldest research foundation in Greece, as it was the first scientific research institute built after Greece became independent in 1829, and one of the oldest research institutes in Southern Europe.
Stasion 5 Dionysiou Areopagitou Street is a pedestrianized street, adjacent to the south slope of the Acropolis in the Makrygianni district of Athens. It is named after Dionysius the Areopagite, the first Athenian convert to Christianity after Apostle Paul's sermon, according to the Acts of the Apostles, and patron saint of the city of Athens. The street runs from east to west. It starts from Amalias Avenue near the Arch of Hadrian and ends near Philopappos Hill where it continues as Apostolou Pavlou Avenue, the rest of the pedestrian zone which goes around the archaeological site of the Acropolis and the Agora. The street was first mapped in 1857 in a position more northern than where it is located today, adjacently to the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. It acquired its current shape in 1955, when it was redesigned by architect Dimitris Pikionis, who also designed the paved paths of the archaeological site. The street was finally pedestrianized in 2003
Stasion 6 The Temple of Olympian Zeus also known as the Olympieion or Columns of the Olympian Zeus, is a former colossal temple at the center of the Greek capital Athens. It was dedicated to "Olympian" Zeus, a name originating from his position as head of the Olympian gods
Stasion 7 The Arch of Hadrian most commonly known in Greek as Hadrian's Gate (Greek: Πύλη του Αδριανού, romanized: Pyli tou Adrianou), is a monumental gateway resembling in some respects a Roman triumphal arch. It spanned an ancient road from the center of Athens, Greece, to the complex of structures on the eastern side of the city that included the Temple of Olympian Zeus.

Michelangelo was a wonderful guide. It was the highlight of our visit to Athens. That and the restaurants at Chabad (just added so you know this isn't a bot). While everyone else walked through the heat, we saw so much more in just 2 hours. He even personalized it for us, taking us to Olympic Stadium so my wife could "complete" the marathon she "began" at the stadium in Marathon. And also, without asking him, he took us to the Holocaust Monument. Never been on a moped/scooter before, so much fun!
Michealangelo was awesome! He was patient with new riders and aware of crowded streets! The secret place he took us was amazing!
Very patient with us. We had little experience riding scooters. Highly recommend. Would go again. *****
Overall amazing experience. The owner/guide Michael Angelo is the most humble and polite person. Great way to see all the famous sites without having to walk in the heat. If you see this review, look no further because this is a great experience for a great value so book now! Also congrats on the wedding Michael! Hope to return to greece and go motorcycle riding in the future
Micheal Angelo was superb. Best way to see the city. Beat the crowds and the heat and get the 9am slot. Thanks MA.....brilliant guide and a great guy!
This is a great, short fun and educational tour. Our first time on a fat tire scooter. Very easy to ride, very comfortable, very safe. The guide, Michael Angelo, was great!
We covered a lot more ground than walking to Athens sites and it was most enjoyable to have a guide to stop with along the way and share a little history with us. The noon booking was very hot and morning would be advisable if one is sensitive to the heat.
We had an amazing time on this scooter tour in Athens! Michelangelo was an incredible tour guide — very informative, extremely friendly, and patient throughout the entire experience. He did a fantastic job teaching first-time scooter riders and made everyone feel comfortable and confident before heading out through the city. The tour itself was such a fun and unique way to experience Athens, and you could tell Michelangelo genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time. Don’t skip this tour — it’s an excellent addition to any trip to Athens and easily one of the highlights of our visit!
Mike did such a great job making me feel comfortable driving the scooter and then making sure we were all safe along the way! He took us up to the most beautiful vista. And was super knowledgeable about Athens. Great tour!
We had an amazing time on our E-Scooter tour with Michael Angelo! Since it was only the three of us on the tour, it felt very personal and relaxed. Michael Angelo was extremely knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information along the way. The scooters were very easy to ride, and his instructions made us feel comfortable and confident right from the start. Overall, it was such a fun and unique experience, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great way to explore the area!
Always a really good moment!! Second time for me and looking forward to next ride ;-)
very nice and cheerful guides. We had a great trip and got to see places that we would have never found by ourselves
Great experience - our first time on scooter of this type and Mike made it thoroughly enjoyable. We always felt safe and saw parts of Athens we wouldn’t have made it to on foot.
Very nice tour, great guide, safe travels to the area and good vibes from the people in the area too
Great tour. Mike was a great guide. Friendly and full of knowledge. This tour is very recommended for everyone.
Not much of travelling on scooter, more talking and walking. The actual scooter ride is about an hour or less. Not very impressed and don't think it's worth the cost. Anyway some people may like it.
Was exactly what we wanted, bike was easy to use and the guide gave great concise insights and we moved from landmark to landmark without things dragging. Great way to take in the sights without taking up too much time.
We were met by a very professional and friendly gentlemen, Michelangelo who Escorted us around the old town of Athens. He was very knowledgeable along with some quirks and fabulous sense of humour. He had great stories regarding local customs, culture, and history. Safety was always his priority and we were in good hands on our two hour tour. This is a definite must if you come to Athens as he takes you to all the hidden secrets as well as a great photo of opportunities.
We were two retired couples. The guys drove their own scooters and the ladies rode with our 2 guides. After so much pedestrian walking the day before, this was a fun way to see the area. Micheal Angelo was a great guide who provided history and commentary at the 5-6 stops along the way with gods photo ops. Highly recommend!
it was ok experiance , you get to know the area very fast then you can go back to places you like, tour guids were nice and friendly.
We had a great time exploring the Acropolis Area with Michael Angelo and his colleague. We ended up having a private tour with just my friend and I as other were a no show on the day which was perfect for us. It was such fun to see all the amazing sites on 2 wheels.
Our tour guide was Michael Angelo… he was brilliant. The knowledge and story’s were amazing. I would highly recommend the E scooter tour… so so so much fun…
This was a very fun and original way to see Athens. My two boys (14 and 16) loved that they were able to drive them! Our guide was very interesting and presented the history of each stop in a fun way which my boys enjoyed. I would highly recommend!
The tour only covers a tiny area around Acropolis different to other tours we observed and is expensive compared to others, but we booked last minute as we only had 1 day to explore so took what was available. The guide's knowledge was ok but in honesty its not worth the money. Better off walking around and seeing more. Tour started off ok but was ruined when the guide became very rude and shouted at one of us for mistakenly thinking the guide was stopping (guide was turning through a small gap between street posts). Tried to explain and was shouted at for not listening and trying to over-take the guide. What was bad was the way the guide spoke - like you were at school. He would not listen at all and was very angry for what was a misunderstanding, ruining the rest of the limited tour. You have been told. Aside from the above experience I would not recommend the tour as you just don't see enough for the time and money.
This was such a great way to see the city - family of 4 with two boys aged 15 and 21. The bikes were easy to ride & well explained, and Michael Angelo took us to some fantastic view points. The tour was fun and informative. Highly recommend.
We had a blast! The scooters were fun to drive and it was a great way to see the city. Michael was a great guide, very knowledgeable about the city, and super friendly. My favorite part was cruising through all the neighborhoods. I definitely recommend.
Such a great morning riding around Athens. We felt safe including our 15 year old who doesn’t have a driver’s licence. Our guide was amazing and would highly recommend this experience.
We had a great tour with Michelangelo!! The scooter is harder to use than expected but he was very patient and we saw some great sites. He was very personable and we got to know a lot about the city!!!
Great fun way to see Athens riding around the Acropolis and other meaningful sites! Did this tour with a group of 7 adults (all family members). Two of our group members decided to ride as a passenger and the bikes were still comfortable and safe. The guides were very attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. Guides went through instructions and made sure everyone had hands on practice on the e-bike prior to the tour ride and made sure the provided helmets fit properly. We all had previous riding experience with scooters and motorcycles, which made this a lot easier! Water bottles were provided. Had plenty of opportunities to stop for photos and learn about history. Michael Angelo and his partner were friendly and had safety first in mind!
Highly recommend tour. The tour guides provide is with a lot of historic info. And also gave us a lot of advice of what to do and where to go.
This was an excellent experience. Michael Angelo is very knowledgeable and does an excellent job communicating and taking the group to some amazing spots. Well worth it.
This activity is awesome and family friendly. The owner Michel Anglo is professional and friendly. They do give you a tutorial on how to operate the Scooter before the tour begins. Safety first! Then off for a leisure ride to several stops
Lots of fun riding the e-scooters and seeing the sites. Easy to ride, not on the streets so cars, buses and motorcycles were not an issue.
The next time your in Athens this is a must do. So easy to navigate the city. Beautiful views. I have mobility issues so this was an easier way to see the city. Lots of ppl in Athens.
Was a great tour! Saw awesome sites and the guide was knowledgeable. I would recommend to friends and family
Guide was very knowledgeable, gracious, patient and polite. Excellent conversation, provided extensive historical background on Athena and the ruins of Athena. Was like spend time with a good friend and going on an adventure. Will come back and do the tour again!!!
Michelangelo is charming and a great tour guide. Thoroughly enjoyed his knowledge and his personality. I was disappointed that the tour was only an hour and a half though. It took quite a while to get us all tested and approved for the scooters and then we came back 35 minutes early. The scooters are a blast.
Guides did a thorough training and very attentive. Michael knew his history and information well. We loved his stories. We couldn’t ask for a better tour guide.
Highly recommend this tour. Michael Angelo was a fantastic guide and very friendly and knowledgeable. We were really lucky and ended up having a private tour as it wasn’t the busy season but even in a big group the tour would’ve been fantastic. Even if you’re nervous about driving the scooters there’s no need as the guide shows you how to use them before you start the tour. I’d definitely recommend!
Michelangelo, yes, I know but that is the owners real name, was a fantastic tour guide and had great equipment. We hit all of the highlights of downtown Athens, never felt rushed and got all of the information about the ancient city. This is something we would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to tour Athens. The scooters are easy to ride and an enjoyable experience.
This was a great experience. The guide was knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. A great way to site see on the scooters that are easy to use. Thank you so much. We will be returning again.
It was my first time riding the scooter, they first taught me, then we started the tour. I was informed about the sights when we stopped. The guide also took great pictures. It was a great experience! I will be scooter touring the cities from now on :D Thanks to the guides :)
Worth it! Michael was friendly. Gives you an idea of what you need to post the ride. I suggest the morning tour giving yourself the rest of the day to visit the nearby attractions.
Michael was great Scooters were awesome 2 hrs went by fast Highly recommend it Wished we could have done more but you cannot take the E scooters in traffic but it was still a lot of fun :)
Michail was awesome!!! He was very positive and patient with all of us especially since only two of us had experience on a scooter. His historical knowledge was top notch! I would recommend this tour to anyone. Fun way to see the city.
I went on my scooter tour on 11/12/24 and it was very informative and very enjoyable. My guide was very knowledgeable and excellent. I would recommend to anyone who would like to see different monuments and especially if you have mobility issues this is a great way to get to see them without walking to them.
It was an amazing experience and our guide was very cordial at the same time very informative. Overall I recommend this activity to whoever is up for a unique tour to explore few hidden gems in Athens
We came as a family and couldn’t be happier with the tour! If you’re interested you should definitely give it a chance.
This was a fantastic excursion! Not only was it fun riding the scooters, but the guided tour was educational and fabulous!! Is love to do it all again. Thanks so much for a fun day.
