Costas gave a fantastic tour. He’s very knowledgeable, interesting and fun! Costas shared special places we didn’t see on any of our other Athens tours. And we enjoyed our coffees with Costas and Rafaella!

Great guide who explained the social history rather than just the ruins. Good bike. But Athens is not the best for cycling. Too many pedestrians

This agency were very friendly and efficient when we arrived. They quickly got us on our bikes, fitted helmets and gave us each a bottle of water. We really enjoyed our tour via bike. Nina our guide kept us on less busy places and was great at looking out for entire group. The stop for the waffle and coffee was a nice treat too. Would highly recommend this tour company while in Athens.

My guide, Renata, was great!!! Navigating the narrow streets and tourists was challenging at times. It didn’t help that most of the main streets were closed off due to a bike race, but adapt and overcome. We stopped for a coffee and a snack with a great view of the Acropolis..

Really informative, interesting and accessible bike tour. Not strenuous, just really good fun. Tour guide was brilliant and a wealth of knowledge so could answer all questions. Great way to see and learn a bit more about Athens.

George was our guide and he was very good. We met at the bike shop and collected our electric bikes. Note have the saddle lower than usual because it cam be hard to get on and off. The bikes had good power and were helpful up hill. George had a good knowledge of the sites and the history of Greece. He answered lots of questions. We went to a lot of place to see ruins as well as post ottoman era buildings. It was quite busy up.some streets. A good guide and a good company. Would recommend

We had a lovely time on our bike trip. The bike was in excellent working order. All communication leading up to the booking was clear. Our host Kostas was very nice, friendly, polite, knowledgeable and interesting. We visited a number of Athens sites and even saw the changing of the guard which is something everyone should see! We stopped for a nice coffee and snack. We felt the trip was good value for money and we would recommend it to anyone. The group size was small, and the ride was nice and not too difficult at all.

We couldn't of picked a better bike tour. Informative and fun. Information before and after was great, bikes were so nice to ride and our wonderful guide got to know us and showed us things he felt would interest us. We did the bike tour with Active Athens Holidays as a family with two teens (13 and 15) and had such a great experience. Til and Andreas were incredibly accommodating, super knowledgeable, and just genuinely lovely people. They made the three hours really entertaining and kept everyone engaged the whole time. Our tour guide was Andrew. He always made sure we were entertained, but more importantly, that we were safe. Instructions were clear, and whenever we stopped, before we began riding again, he would warn us what the next riding portion would be like (crowded; uphill; downhill...)

We had a great time exploring Athens, finding areas we wouldn’t have found on our own and covering more ground than we could have done only on foot. We were lucky enough to end up with a private tour, just the four of us, so could see a lot in our 3 hours. We had some fabulous e-bikes that made the ride very chilled and our 11 year old was able to join us on a good mountain bike with suspension to help with pavements (some tours do not allow 11 year olds). Our guide Andreas and his colleague Niko were knowledgeable and patient and we enjoyed a great coffee stop with a fabulous view of the Acropolis. We went back to a few of the things we had seen on our next day. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Till, my leader was very knowledgeable and fun! The tour meandered through a mostly flat area in the heart of Athens, with stops at the historical sites. Till had recently finished his masters in Balkan Studies, which includes archeology and history, so he was extremely knowledgeable. His English was flawless because of his time in the U.S. as an exchange student. He also speaks German and French fluently! The electric bike worked flawlessly. We had a fun coffee stop and Till treated me to a chocolate covered waffle. Delicious! Highly recommend this tour.

This was an excellent tour and I thoroughly recommend it. The guide, Menelaos, was not only very knowledgeable but also good company. Monuments and sites which you might otherwise just walk past were brought to life by his story telling. This gives you ideas about where to revisit during the remainder of your stay. I suggest choosing the ebike option as there are more gradients in Athens than you might imagine.

Excellent tour with e-bikes through many top attractions. Needed to change our date by a couple of days and host was excellent in offering alternate times! Saw many sights that we couldn’t possibly see on foot. George was very detailed and the pace was enjoyable. Stopped at a beautiful restaurant for refreshments and a snack which was included.

We had a wonderful time with Joanne (sp?) biking through the city botanical garden, circling the acropolis on city streets, rolling through neighborhoods we would never have experienced on our own, and stopping at a quaint cafe for beverage and a chocolate covered waffle. It was such a great opportunity to get to know the city, and not just the ruins (nothing against them, but this city has a lot more to offer!). Joanne was a super guide, sharing city insights with humor and smarts. And once the ride was over, they went beyond the call of duty, giving us a terrific list of places to visit, restaurants (which we visited and enjoyed), and tips for finding unique experiences during our stay. (Wish we could have made it to Lake Vouliagmeni!) Friendly, knowledgeable and fun. We loved the experience.

What a great team! Most important was the communication from the start till we arrived. We've had issues on other trips with other operators so I am very cautious with plans. Usually I even over communicate to be comfortable. These folks, especially Telis was great, very patient & understanding. They even started us earlier than planned since we arrived early. Guide was awesome as well as the equipment. E Bikes made the tour easy on a very hot 100 degree day. Plenty of stops in the shade & water supplied. Even stopped for a drink at a local cafe with a chocolate waffle treat. Saw plenty with nice talks though out. Great location too

From the time you arrive at the office to the end of the tour you are in the hands of friendly professional people The bikes are all well presented and safe and our guide Joanna was great. We booked this tour but we were curious as the traffic in Athens isn’t bike friendly. The tour we had was amazingly safe, no struggles with the traffic. Our guide spoke perfect English and took us to beautiful places. His knowledge was was perfect. The bike was in perfect condition. We can recommend this tour and although we have been numerous times in Athens, this was a completely new experience!

We had the best time on bike tour with our 2 amazing guides. Both were very knowledgeable & fun to be with. Very interesting narrative split between historical and everyday life in the city. They went at a nice pace ensuring we were comfortable, despite some of our party not having cycled in a long time. I would most certainly recommend the tour to anyone who wants to explore and hear about Athens history, in a fun way. You can cover a lot of ground in a short time. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone and I would certainly repeat it when we return in the future.

Biking around Athens was such a relaxing experience, the bikes used are modern and suited perfectly for the terrain of the center. We managed to see everything on my list around the city center! The perfect activity for anyone who wants to skip the crowds and enjoy Athens and its sights without spending the entire day going from locations to location! Thank you once again! (Eυχαριστώ)

Great experience, Vassilis and the team were terrific. Brilliant way to see the city and orient yourself on arrival. The e-bikes get you everywhere in a pinch (they tackle the hills with ease). Would note that the e-bikes are a little big if you're small (my wife is 5' and struggled to get on and off easily because of the cross-bar), however the team were very accommodating and patient.

Even I was alone for the tour, we did it (amazing). The tour is really nice, the guide (Telis) super kind, professional and full of info regarding the history and the curiosity of Greece. You have the possibility to see a lot of spots in the center and to enjoy a Greek coffee with the view of Acropolis. Even if I live here since a while, I discover new places. Thanks a lot for the super nice tour!

This was an excellent trip with Vassilis and Vassilis, fantastic guides and great company! Really good mix of cycling and stopping at different locations for information. They even arranged for the fountains to turn on at the Cultural Centre for our arrival there... Would definitely recommend!

In the tour you visit all the must see monuments and our guide picked the best spot to take fantastic pictures of the Parthenon. Excellent English spoken by the guide and a stop for coffee and waffles with a great view of the Acropolis. The best way to know the city center.

We were accompanied by the very friendly Nina on our tour. Nina knows her subject well it was a very pleasant outing and rich in descriptions. We enjoyed very good mountain bikes. Athens goes up and down! Electric assistance would have been a plus 🙂we had not taken the option. But it's completely manageable without it.

Nice way to see the highlights of Athens in a short time. Guide tells interest facts about the area and can also provide you with tips for other locations. Pleasant side effect was the free upgrade to an ebike😊
