We really enjoyed our tour of the Acroplis and the museum. The level of detail given by the guide was great. He answered all questions well and made the whole tour really interesting. In our tour group there were some one people and he was very considerate to their needs when moving around the site.

Very good experience and the guide was amazing and she is very kind and have lot of patience, the acropolis was crazy!! Mueseum is also nice, but for sure the peak is the acropolis mountain

This tour was exactly what I was looking for. Our guide, Michael, was amazing. He was so knowledgeable, engaging, enthusiastic and kind. We had degrees of walking abilities and he was very mindful of that. There is so much to see in the museum but I felt he showed us and talked about the most interesting and important pieces. I really liked that we went to the museum first so we had that in our minds as we walked the Acropolis. I would recommend this tour and highly suggest that they try to book the tour with Michael.

We had a tour with Yolanda from Athenian tours. She was great at telling the stories and sharing information. It was a fantastic tour. We spend around 3 hours on the Akropolis itself and then we also had tickets to go the museum, which we would really recommend as well. You get an interesting look into all the sculptures that they took from the temples and put into the museum. It was a bit crowdy at certain points, but Yolanda could always find good places to stand, so we could also take pictures.

Irene was such an engaging wonderful guide. We felt so lucky to have landed her! A great introduction to Athens and Greece. Very informative and always interesting.

Group was too large for a single guide. There were constant bathroom breaks. We must have spent 25% of the tour on one kind of break or another. The guide was knowledgeable, but the nonstop breaks were frustrating for me (and others).

An excellent tour. We arrived at the office about 10min before the tour and many had already checked in and were with a guide. We probably should have gotten there earlier due to the long line at check in desk (but they had many staff members working, so it went quick). Turned out we got an absolutely fabulous guide. Gari was a delight, very informative and fun - so we were glad to be assigned to her group. She definitely earned her tip. It was much better to see the Acropolis first and then the museum. Got a flavor for the site along with much instruction and commentary from Gari, then she filled in the details at the museum. Because of her background in archeology, her knowledge and passion for the sight helped us understand and appreciate the site so much more. Thanks and we had a great time, well worth the price, and highly recommend.

Yolanda was incredible. Her knowledge of Greek history, the Myths, the People and the details in between. She was polite, took breaks, allowed for pictures and bathroom breaks and always made sure our group was complete before we moved on to the next site. If I could give her 10 stars I would.

Fascinating place. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. I think I got a lot more out of the location because of his expertise.

We had very little knowledge of Greek mythology or other historical sites, but our guide's explanations were very clear and interesting. Without her explanations, the rest of our time in the Ancient Agora (not the tour) would have been boring. In the museum, she carefully selected masterpieces and provided sufficient explanations in a short amount of time. What I appreciated most was that I was able to understand the explanations despite my limited English. Since the tour ends inside the museum, if you need to leave your belongings, I recommend using the individual cloakroom rather than the group cloakroom (even if the museum staff refuses).

It was an anazing tour, just before the Sunset! Our guide Eli, an authentic greek, was great, with lots of history and mithology. We had a group of 14 people and she knew us all by the name. We had a great time! It was the 16h30 tour, in English

We had the most wonderful afternoon exploring the Acropolis, Parthenon and Acropolis Museum with Natasha from Athenian Tours. From the moment we met her, Natasha was incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming, while also being an absolute professional. Her knowledge of Greek history and mythology is incredible, but what really made the experience so special was the way she told the stories. She didn’t simply give us facts and dates; she brought the history to life and completely drew us into the world of Ancient Greece. She also has such a fun, quirky personality and a great sense of humour, which made the whole afternoon feel relaxed and personal. We found ourselves laughing one minute and completely captivated by a story the next. It was such a special way to experience Athens for the first time, and we walked away feeling like we had learnt so much without ever feeling like we were sitting through a history lesson! Dimitris was amazing. So knowledgeable. We absolutely loved this and many others in the tour made the same comment. We learned so much and are interested in learning more about Greek history based on the amazing peek Dimitris provided. This is a physical tour (lots of walking and some segments uphill) but very worth it and Dimitris always found shady spots with some places to sit where he’d share his stories. Book this. You won’t regret it!
