Great experience. Our guide, Hercules, was knowledgable of the sites and was a master at knowing the best viewing areas. Hercules is a local with great information and pride for his city’s history and traditions. Very informative. We appreciated Hercules flexibility with our itinerary. My husband injured his back two days before trip and had limited walking ability. Hercules quickly modified our route to ensure we saw all of the sights with limited walking. We had a wonderful day exploring the Athens Riviera and Cape Sounion with Hercules from Geto Know Athens! He was truly fantastic and one of the best guides we encountered during our three weeks traveling through Italy and Greece. Part of our trip included a Greek Isles cruise, and Hercules was there to greet us when we disembarked at the Port of Piraeus that morning. Having already spent time exploring Athens before our cruise, including a food tour and a visit to the Acropolis, we wanted to experience a different side of the region. Hercules put together a wonderful day for us, with scenic stops along the beautiful coastline, a visit to the impressive Temple of Poseidon, and a delicious lunch at a local seaside restaurant. Along the way, he shared his extensive knowledge of Athens, Greek history and local life, making the experience both interesting and enjoyable. Beyond his knowledge, Hercules was simply a pleasure to spend the day with. He was personable, professional, accommodating and genuinely passionate about sharing his country with visitors. I would highly recommend Geto Know Athens for a private tour, and especially Hercules. He made our last day in Greece a memorable one!
