Spectacular! I didn’t expect this much value for the price paid. The vehicle was very clean and comfortable, and communication was seamless throughout. The best guide! Theo has an incredible human touch and a genuine passion for what he does. He is so dedicated that he even memorized everyone’s name in the vehicle, all while sharing information in a lighthearted and highly entertaining way. I am absolutely delighted and highly recommend it!

We had a great time! Our tour guide was a great teacher, very interactive, and engaged the everyone. At the end it felt like we knew the whole group. It was well paced. For the lake it is just a view, you don’t go down to the lake.

Theo was one of the most knowledgeable and funny tour guides I have ever travelled with. He kept us laughing the whole trip, had an amazing grasp of Greek history, and really gave us a wonderful tour. We would not hesitate to do this again. The tour stopped at a couple of beautiful sites, as well as visiting the Temple of Poseidon. It was well worth every penny, and lasted longer than expected… which was great.

A Huge Shoutout to Theo – My Temple of Poseidon Sunset Tour Guide! I would like to give a huge shoutout to my tour guide, Theo, who took me on the Temple of Poseidon sunset tour on October 6th! As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how Theo went out of his way to make sure everyone in the van felt welcome and included. Before picking me up, he kept me updated on his arrival time due to traffic, which I really appreciated. Once we were all in the van, we headed out for a beautiful drive along the coast. Theo shared so much history and fascinating information about the area. His knowledge was truly impressive, and you could tell he was passionate about what he does! Along the way, we stopped at a beautiful seaside location where we could enjoy drinks, dinner, or even take a swim. It was a relaxing break with gorgeous views. We also made a stop for photos with the Temple of Poseidon in the background. We arrived at the temple just in time for sunset, and the views were absolutely breathtaking! There was plenty of time to take pictures, explore the grounds, and enjoy the beauty of this incredible historic site. On our way back to Athens, a protest in the town center prevented us from being dropped off directly at our hotels. Theo went above and beyond to make sure everyone could safely get back using routes that were easy to walk. And the excellent service didn't stop there! After leaving the van, I realized I had left my portable phone charger behind. Before I even had a chance to contact him, Theo was already reaching out to let me know he had found it! We tried to coordinate the next day, but our schedules didn't line up while he was nearby. He graciously made arrangements to leave my charger with the reception desk at my hotel. Theo went above and beyond what was expected of him, not only as a tour guide but as someone who genuinely cared about his guests. His knowledge, kindness, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail made this experience even more special. I would absolutely recommend this tour and highly encourage anyone booking it to request Theo as their guide. He is a delightful, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring young man who made my experience unforgettable! Thank you, Theo, for making such a beautiful evening even more memorable!

This was one of the best tour we had. Teddy was a fantastic guide, funny, informative, and professional.

You will be in for a treat with Teddy as your guide to Temple of Poseidon for the sunset, Cape Sounion for a lovely seaside dinner (excellent grilled sea bream), and a stop outside of Athens to see a beautiful hot springs swimming spot that is available with an entrance fee. Teddy is a master of engaging people to get to know one another, he is full of surprises, excellent English and high energy. Lots of fun, even sent us home with some 3-D prizes that he made. Really enjoyed this tour. We didn't quite understand that sunset was to be viewed from Temple of Poseidon and you must pay 20 euros for entrance. We thought there was a museum on site, but there is not. But still, was a really fun outing because of Teddy.

This is a small group tour , well organised, to a fascinating location. The guide, Tassos,was superb, highly knowledgeable and we learned much about Greece, its history , Greek myths and what Greek civilization has given us.

Our driver/guide/teacher/entertainer was Theo, who was absolutely brilliant. Very funny and well informed and a pleasure to travel with. The temple site itself was very cold and windy (I visited in October) so if you aren't going in summer, dress warmly and bring a thick jacket. Very happy I did the tour.

What a great day it was. Full of humor and history. Teddy was a hoot and knew his History well. Driving was so pleasurable and safe. Our lunch time was at a sea side restaurant with the temple above us. You had time to swim if you wanted to. Temple time was excellent and he was very easy to locate after our temple time. Great experience even when the weather wasn’t our friend. Tassos was amazing , funny , and a wealth of knowledge . Stopping at the lake, and nice fishing village on the beach front for some food and drink. We then stopped on a lay-by for a picture of the temple from distance. It was very windy and busy and remember this does not include tickets for the temple which are €20 each . View was amazing and the sunset even on a rubbish day for weather was still nice to experience We even won the Tassos who wants to be a millionaire quiz!!!

Last week my partner and I enjoyed the trip to the Temple of Poseidon with outstanding guide Theo (aka General Teddy). The guide was super funny, knowledgeable, helpful, and passionate about Greece. It was nice to get out of Athens and admire the region next to it, and we left the tour with pleasurable tiredness and many useful insights about life in Greece, not to mention all the tips about eateries, etc. The unexpected benefit was that Theo knew a lot about the life in the US and could adapt his storytelling to American tourists like few others can.

A perfect way to conclude our mainland experience and complete the “Sacred Triangle”. Tassos, our driver who speaks 5 languages went deep in explanations and relevant points as we were heading south. It was an easy-going trip and a beautiful sunset to remember. The only thing I wished is that he could also enter the archeological site. He was a wealth of knowledge and being there we would have experienced the temple differently.

The drive was comfortable, scenic, and entertaining to say the least. It was also very convenient to be picked up and dropped off close to our hotel. Few other reviews have noted that stops along the way may have been underwhelming, but it wasn't too big of an issue for our group as it provided a nice opportunity to take photos, stretch, eat, use the restroom if needed, etc. Would still highly recommend this tour w/ Teddy!

Very engaging guide Theo! . He gave Enought time for Bathroom breaks, for us to enjoy delicious seafood, swim in the beach and see the sunset at cape Sounion. We were not rushed. Theo gave lots of information about history and encouraged us to participate. The smaller group developed a warm camaraderie during the half day trip. Theo was the best guide we’ve ever had.

Highly recommend taking this tour! Our guide/driver Teddy was the best! We booked the sunset tour and even though it was overcast and we didn’t get to see the sunset he was able to make it one of the best tours of our trip. Even better, it’s a family business! He learned everyone’s name and interacted with the group the entire time. We had some long drives and instead of silence he kept us entertained. We were even able to grab dinner at a local restaurant. When we stopped for pictures, he knew exactly where to put us to capture the best photo!
