Athens Sunset Bike Tour With Regular Or Electric Bike

We absolutely enjoyed the Athens e-bike tour. What a fantastic way to see major sites of the city in a short amount of time. A great overview to start out our Greece trip. My husband enjoyed the history and background of the Roman Agora. I loved the beautiful views of the sea and Parthenon from the observatory. Karolis was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable about history, and his English was excellent.

Our favorite thing to do in a new city is to take a bicycle tour. Rena was our tour guide in Athens and she was excellent!! There were 9 people on tour and Rena quickly learned everyone’s names. The E-bikes were easy to learn how to use (Rena explained it perfectly). We saw so many beautiful sights and were able to see so much more on bike than we could walking. I would highly recommend!

Alex our guide was fabulous. Witty, knowledgeable and full of energy.

Awesome time with Rena! She was knowledgeable and a great teacher as she taught us some Greek words. Pame! My husband and I got lucky and had Rena to ourselves. It’s a great and quick way to be educated in a short amount of time. Rena gave some awesome tips, which we took her on and were worth it. I’ve never rode an E bike and made cycling very easy.. so if you want a workout and know how to bike, grab the regular (the hills aren’t horrible to maneuver). I wish we did this tour on our first day instead of the last, but nonetheless, we’re happy to have experienced it. Thank you Athens by Bike!

My 12-year old nephew and I went on this tour with Marios . Out luck it was just the two of us and it was such an amazing experience for us both. The route was excellent, very safe and loads of fun. Marios was very knowledgeable and patient and made it a very memorable experience. Voted our best experience in Athens so far

We had a fantastic time touring the city of Athens with Karlios from Athens by bike. The bikes were in good condition and are easy to ride. Karlios is very knowledgeable on the city and gave great information on monuments as well as excellent insights from a passionate cyclist.

Fantastic tour. Learned a ton and had so much fun! Tour leader was exceptional and I would love to do it again!

Fun ride through Athens. Covered a lot of ground to see as much as possible in a short amount of time. Few very manageable hills on the e-bike. Loved riding along cobblestone pathways hearing street artists playing music.

My wife and I joined a bike tour led by Marios in early April, and it was a fantastic experience. The weather was perfect, and Marios was an excellent guide. He took us to interesting spots and shared helpful context about everything we saw, which made the tour much more engaging. Despite having a group of eight riders with varying skill levels, he kept the experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone. He also offered some great restaurant recommendations that we ended up trying and really liked. The bikes were well maintained and easy to use, which made the ride even more comfortable.

Did the tour one weekend in Feb 2026. About half a dozen in our group. Mostly electric bikes but the odd non electric. Our guide was Alex who was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The tour is not demanding (physically) so is easy with an electric bike and no problem on a normal bike with even moderate fitness. Alex took us around Athens to see a variety of sights. Recommended for a fun few hours.

A fun and informative low impact friendly tour that I have no hesitation in recommending Karolis our guide went above and beyond to ensure the best experience possible in a relatively short timeframe.

Karolis was a fantastic tour leader, explaining how the e-bikes worked and full of interesting info on all the sites along the way. Amazing that we could see so much and yet virtually none of the ride on busy streets. He timed tour so that we arrived at presidential palace just as the guards were doing their unique march and got to top of Observatory Hill just in time for spectacular sunset views of Parthenon. Highly recommended!

The e-bike sunset ride was awesome! Our guide Karolis took great care of us and made sure we all enjoyed ourselves at each stop. We didn’t feel rushed and he shared some of his favorite things about Athens. I would definitely suggest the tour. The bikes are easy to ride and he kept us off busy streets.

Did the 5pm tour with Karolis - simply the best way to see the city. Better than the open top bus or on foot. Knowledgable and friendly. Got some places to go back tomorrow and spend some time in those places we saw. Bikes good quality and time went well over on the bikes - great value for money. Would recommend and return no issue.

The sunset bike tour was one of our highlights of our stay in Athens. The electric bikes were amazing as we toured around the city. We were a family of 7, and all of enjoyed the sights we were able to see along the way. Dimitris was our guide. He was excellent sharing the history of the city as we made our stop at the sites. If you've not got long in Athens then this is an excursion for you! Or if you want to know all the key places to visit on your stay this is also a great excursion to do at the very beginning of your trip. The tour guy was great - informative, took great pictures and answered any questions any of the group had. I was so lucky with the group I was with, everyone was so friendly and so welcoming, everyone made an effort to speak to one another and that was because the tour guide had us all introduce ourselves at the very beginning of the tour!

We loved this tour. Kids loved taking in the sites and exploring Athens. Our tour guide Karolis shared his love for biking and the city and was incredibly patient with our group.

Riding an ebike was a fabulous way to see Athens. Our guide was patient and allowed for loads of photo ops. He took us to many of the key areas and made great restaurant recommendations, which we followed up on and were not disappointed. Eric — I think that’s his name?! — let us know he’d been a guide for just two weeks when he led our group. He is obviously very talented as I would have thought he was a seasoned guide! The only thing I missed was taking photos of us With our bikes! Lots without but it would have been even cool to see we were actually on a bike tour.

My husband and I enjoyed our biking through Athens with Alex. It's a great way to acclimate to the city and become familiar with your surroundings. I really enjoyed Alex's humor, wit and knowledge of the area. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to see Athens from the perspective of a bike.

This was the first time any of the 4 of us had ridden an electric bike! It was great. Mr K, our leader and guide, not only quickly ensured that we could control the bike safely and with confidence but provided much interesting information on the places and associated people on our route. As for the route itself, it took us around the centre of Athens (without riding along busy roads) ensuring that we visited many fascinating areas. We all finished safely and without hitting any pedestrians, cars or cats! What more could you want?

Elizabeth was amazing! So much fun riding around the city and hearing about Greek history! Highly recommend this activity. Don’t wear a dress. My friend and I wore dresses and definitely regretted it since you have to get on and off the bike multiple times due to the stops.

Highly recommend. You get to see the highlights of Athens with the freedom of an ebike, in the fresh air, stopping for photos, shopping and a little lesson about 10 high points, e.g., Parthenon, Aeropagus Hill, National Gardens, Kerimatas Cemetary and the Thissio neighborhood, the Agora and the Panthenaic Oympic Stadium. Our guide Karolis was information, entertaining and patiently took photos of us at these locations when we asked that we will cherish, including the obligatory jumping shots with the Acropolis in the background. Afterwards we went to a roof top restaurant (18 Emmou) and continued our fun for the evening with Ouzo the National Drink of Greece!! Good times!!

Dimitris and Alex were brilliant and the tour was great to cover the city! It was fun as a solo traveller too. I ended up meeting new people.

Had an amazing cycle tour of Athens with Rena! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and showed us some hidden gems around the city that we’d never have discovered on our own. Great way to see the city without doing a long walk. Not in depth, more like a sampling of Athens. Real bikers may want more, but it was a good way to get around easier. Our guide, Marios, was engaging and friendly, and was happy to take any questions we had. While we didn’t get a full historical breakdown of any given site, we did hear about a number of stories and histories along the way. Overall, we definitely recommend this for anyone who wants some exploration and get an idea of the city center.

Alexandros was fantastic! He took us to so many great spots, kept us all laughing and engaged, shared a lot of local knowledge and stories. He shared so much helpful information about the history of Athens, places of relevance and his recommendations to help us make our stay in Athens that much better! Highly recommend!

A fantastic tour, relaxed and informative. If we had done this on our 1st day in Athens , we would have made ourselves better informed and understood the geography better. Our guide gave lots of tips for places to eat , shop, and visit and I did nt break sweat the bikes were easy to use and much better than walking

A fun tour and a great introduction to the sights of Athens . Our guide Kleanthis (call him K ) made the trip fun and informative. All the equipment was top notch and I would not hesitate to recommend this tour . I am a 70 year old with bilateral knee replacements and found the ride quite easy on the e-bikes .

Rena was our guide. Both she and the bike tour were amazing. I highly recommend. The bikes were easy to ride. Rena explained how the bikes worked and made sure we each also could navigate and ride. Each place that we stopped at Rena gave us some history and insider information. She also paid special attention to each rider's interest and questions. She took many photos of us and made sure we liked them too! Then, after we visited all these must-see landmarks in the beautiful clear air and sky near and at sunset, Rena provided a map and itinerary of each place so we could go back. One place, the National Observatory, gave a perfect view of the Acropolis and NO ONE was there but us!! It was so enjoyable and I am so glad my husband and I did this outstanding tour. I might add the Rena was funny, spoke English clearly and was a pleasure.

Demetri did a great job showing us around and giving great detail on the sites we visited. It rained which makes the bike travel a bit slippery.
