Agatha was our guide and she was SO knowledgeable. She even said we could text her if we needed any other help navigating through Athens beyond the art tour! She was also very accommodating if you needed water or a break she would ask if we needed either! We learned so much about the history of Athens apart from the Acropolis she educated us on the last 10-20years about the conditions of Greece and how it correlates to the street art it was so educating! Please book this if you want to learn about some of the stories behind the street art in Athens!

It’s was a great educational stroll through parts of Athens that I wouldn’t have seen otherwise. I learned a lot about the street art and artists. Agatha was a great guide. I would highly recommend.
I decided to book this tour for me and my bf to get a new view of Athens , the guide was really nice and she walked as through a not so touristy areas of the city, and we got to learn a different side of Athen , and the guide made it really special and interesting and fun , would recommend to anyone who wants to get to know Athen in different ways
In Athens more than in other European cities street art has become a channel of expressing social and political mood. Agathi is very knowledgeable on the topic and guided us through Gazi, Psyri and Metaxourgio presenting the major artists and trends of recent years. These 2 hours gave us a new and different perspective and understanding of fascinating Athens. We definitely recommend this tour for young and old - it’s also appropriate for families with kids from 8-10 years
The tour was excelent. Agatha was very nice and knowlegable. I highly reommand this tour. We also dicovered new areas and streets which we wouldn't see if it wasn't for the tour.
I absolutely loved this tour and Agatha was friendly and well informed about the street artists. I loved how she explained the story behind each piece of art. Very enjoyable tour and I would totally recommend it! If you’re visiting Athens you should definitely consider it.
Saw many murals I might not have happened upon on my own, and it was great to learn about the artists and their processes.
What a great way to spend the morning in Athens. Thoroughly enjoyed our time with Agnes walking the streets and discovering the works of these talented artists. A great way to discover areas of Athens you may not necessarily seek out on your own, as you gain an understanding of the works these artists have produced.
This was a fabulous tour of Athens’ amazing street art, graffiti and commissioned murals. Agatha, our tour leader, was knowledgeable and engaging. Spending a few hours touring the art and walking through the various neighborhoods with Agatha was effortless. My family of three were the only people on the tour and sometimes this can make things awkward. Instead, Agatha engaged each of us and kept our interest high throughout the trip. The art was amazing and Agatha explained the recent history of Athens, the artists, and their politics. I highly recommend this tour and would encourage you to request Agatha as your tour leader!
Excellent guide. Great explanations on the context and story of each of the street art pieces. Lovely tour.
Thankyou Agatha for making my hubbys birthday really special. This was a great tour! Not only the street art but also the meaning behind the works and the history of each area was so in-depth! I feel we got great value and discovered areas we would not have found on our own.
This tour was fantastic, as we were able to explore not only very talented art but also the urban core of Athens itself. You become familiar with the various neighborhoods and on foot get to see many of the sites off the beaten path. It's a wonderful complement to the ancient tours and we are happy we did both.
We (a family of three) were absolutely delighted and thrilled to have had a very engaging and thoughtful art tour of Athens by one of your guides. A young woman full of energy and capable of holding our attention through conversation and wonderful vignettes about ordinary life in Athens through street art. Hence, instead of simply a 'monumental' tour of big structures and the classical world of Greece, we got a sense of the deeper lives of ordinary people and their counter culture through street art with heroes like Lukanikos. We left Greece thinking that democracy is alive and not frozen in museums and archaeological sites. Thank you again to the young tour guide who seemed gifted with her ability to tell us stories about the streets and their wild explosions in paint. As an ideas, it would be wonderful if you could arrange for alternative histories and thinking by getting tourists or travellers to interact with historians, artists and philosophers. Why not a structured meeting over dinner or lunch so that visitors can learn beyond the strictly tourist itinerary.
Our guide Agatha was super friendly and shared her knowledge of the local works and artists with passion. Much of the art can be left to interpretation but there are also many stories to be told that explain the inspiration. A really great experience, made extra special by our guide!
The Athens Street Tour was fantastic for us art lovers. Our guide Agatha was delightful, engaging, friendly and gave us the history of each neighbourhood and the story behind the art and the artists. Incredible. Highly recommend.
Athens street art is surprising and amazing. Our tour guide, Kalliopi, was fun, informative and knowledgeable of the street artists and their work. We visited neighborhoods that we probably wouldn’t see on usual tourist routes. We felt like we saw some authentic street life because of the tour. It’s nice to see modern art after visiting so many important ancient sites.
Kalliope was a wonderful guide with in depth knowledge of the artists and the meaning behind the pieces. We were surprised how many different murals we were able to see and found the small group to be a perfect experience.
I really enjoyed this walking tour with Agatha. She was very knowledgeable about the artists in Athens and was lovely to speak to. I’d highly recommend this tour if you want a more alternative and authentic tour of the street art in Athens!
The street art tour was amazing. The tour was a great neighborhood experience of Athens. Agatha was so interesting and explained the art work, neighborhoods, and local information. My teenage sons were thrilled to discover the local artists that they would not have otherwise known about and to learn more about street art in general. Definitely recommend the tour and ask for Agatha.
There's a lot of street art in Athens, with this tour you get to see some of the best of it but also know the stories behind the meaning of the art and who made it which adds a completely different layer and perspective to Athens and the art itself. I really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it. Thank you Agatha!
Such a terrific experience and a perfect counterpoint if you are also visiting the ruins. It’s a window into a different side of Athens. Also our guide was an absolute delight!! Highly recommend!!!
The guide was super knowledgeable and friendly, I loved learning about the history of the different neighborhoods, architecture, and about the artists. We saw a lot of beautiful graffiti and I highly recommend the tour.
I love street art tours, and this was no exception. Athens had far more murals than I actually expected, and after taking the tour I started seeing them everywhere I went. Great company, great communication, very flexible.
"I really enjoyed my time in Athens, and it was also my very first time in Greece too! I really wanted to thank my Athens Street tour guide Agathi for giving me a hands on experience during my time in Athens, and showing me the most important artworks and graffiti all across the city, and giving my the opportunity to try out new food such as Kotopita, Bougatsa and Spanakopita, around the vibrant neighborhood of Psirri, and visiting ancient churches from the Byzantine era. I plan on coming back to Athens very soon, and Eureka Athens has been very helpful with my very first experience! Thank you for everything!" Thank you
We had a great tour through different parts of the city, we saw a lot of interessant murals and got much information about Them and the artists. Flexible and very friendly hosts. Communication was great too. A big recommendation!
We had a wonderful time during our street art experience! We saw amazing murals and a more alternative side of Athens!
Top tour. Alternative city tour. Alternative view. Nice spots. Agathe took a lot of time. Guided tour in English but that is no problem. Super guide with lots of info. Nice guide Agathe with backround knowledge. Thankyou for the different view of Athens.
We were lucky enough to enjoy the tour together with the expert Agatha. We explored the city on foot, passing by big graffiti or even small, hidden street art, which you would not have seen or noticed immediately. Agatha, know a lot about the artists, too. Also, you get to know the city well, it also had good food and starting tips. All in all a super great experience, thank you Agatha!
