Athens Private Transfer Service: Athens Hotel To / From Piraeus Port

Travelling with an elderly friend so we wanted to be sure we had a transfer booked to take us to cruise port. Transfer did not arrive at 10am. Messages sent to organiser. Decided to arrange and Uber and at 1026 received a WhatsApp message advising that a driver would be with us in a couple of minutes. A driver did then appear in a yellow cab. Uber then cancelled. Not the smooth experience we were hoping for and meant we arrived late for our check in time. Contact made asking for partial refund for the stress and inconvenience which was refused. Next time I would just pre book an Uber.

We had an amazing drive with Chris. Or as he called himself…the big fat guy named Chris😊. He was funny, informative, punctual and just fun to be around. Definitely a 5 star .

Driver showed up on time. He wanted us to meet him on the street instead of hotel lobby, I rejected that and he met us in the hotel.

The driver confirmed pick up time and actually showed up 5 minutes early as we were walking out of the hotel so no waiting. He was very courteous and the drive was very smooth. Arrived at ship early.

Due to traffic, the driver was 40 minutes late, but Tripadvisor kept me updated, and the driver was extremely apologetic when he did finally arrive. Getting around in Athens can be daunting and a little scary. Our driver was fabulous though.

Great way to get oriented to the city and have a glimpse of the highlights. Perfect for anyone with mobility issues and/or ready for a break from the crowds. Pamos, our driver and guide, was SO knowledgeable and even coordinated for us to see the changing of the guard. He took us to great vantage points. He was fun and always made sure we were safe. We had a round-trip from our hotel instead of to/from the port/airport. Either is a great choice!

Alex was our driver. Great guy and very knowledgeable. Good communication. He notified us he was running 5 minutes late. 5 minutes is hardly a big deal n Athens traffic but it was good of him to let us know. Took us right next to our Celebrity ship. The company confirmed our transfer again the day before. The overall experience was great.

Our driver Chris was very friendly and courteous. He contacted us directly on the day of transfer to notify us that he would be arriving early so that we could leave before the roads would potentially close due to some local protesting. Because he was very attentive to the situation, he was able to pick us up early and drive us safely from our hotel in the city centre to the cruise port without any significant delays or risk of missing the all aboard time. For an on-time and friendly private transfer service to the cruise port from the city centre or vice versa, we highly recommend this great transfer service with Chris!

We were on a cruise that docked in Piraeus in order to visit Athens. At the port you can get a hop on hop off bus direct to Athens. There are a number of companies running the trip, we went on the Blue bus for a fee of 15 euros each. The bus takes you directly to the Acropolis, after visiting the Acropolis you can then catch another hop on hop off bus for the city tour to see the other attractions. The buses travel from the same bus stop and there is a company advisor at the bus stop if you need any further information. After the city tour you return to the Acropolis interchange bus stop and catch the other bus back to the ship. This is a far cheaper way to visit Athens than paying the cruise ship excursion prices, There is an added benefit that the buses have good quality free wi-fi on them in order to contact home and earphones giving information as you travel on the tour. Athens is a busy city with a lot of traffic so leave yourself plenty of time.

Transfer from hotel to cruise port in Athens went very smoothly. Driver was there on time and very professional.

My driver, Chris was early - and waiting in a visible location for me to find him. We got swiftly and safely into the city so I could visit some of the historic sights of Athens and enjoy lunch - then made our way to the airport with plenty of time for the connecting flight. Chris was a great communicator, letting me know some background of the city in modern times and making recommendations for places to eat. Such a great experience

This is a glorified scheduled taxi service. We arrived in Athens Port, and we were supposed to be picked up outside the terminal. There were two areas where pickup could occur, so we were confused. The driver called and we tried to meet up, but apparently "we're standing by the taxis" wasn't clear enough instruction. He was definitely a little testy, but this is your home, not ours. Give us a little slack. We finally met up, but he didn't have a sign with our names or provide a description of the vehicle. That would've helped a lot because he literally picked us up in a basic yellow taxi (hard to pick out of 25 of them). I'm just grateful he picked us up and got us where we needed, but wouldn't recommend.

The operator never showed up to pick us up and never responded to our messages to see if they were still coming or just delayed. Viator customer service was wonderful and refunded the payment for the ride.

Dimitri was a wonderful driver. However, I don’t think he is an employee of the service. He communicated when he was headed our way and was waiting outside for us. 5 stars for him. He appeared to be a regular cab driver because he was driving a yellow car with a taxi light on top. This wasn’t what we expected from see the ad on viatar. Could have saved money by just using a cab service.

Driver arrived on time ( a few minutes early) and was very pleasant. Comfortable, air conditioned van got us from our Airbnb to our cruise ship without any issues!

This transfer was for a family of 6 with lots of luggage. They made this very easy for us as far as pick up and drop off. Everything was clean and air condition. Driver was friendly and very informative about the area we were being dropped off to. Absolutely would recommended this company!

It's our first time using this sire to get a ride back to the airport from our cruise ship. Andreas showed up in time to take us back to the airport. He said during the ride to just enjoy and relax. Very friendly and the car was very clean. Definitely use him again.

The driver was not at the exit door with a sign with our names. About 15 minutes after the appointed time he did show up but not in the designated area and we happened to see him among the crown with his sign. He did drive fine from the port to the hotel but only carried one bag to the car and one bag from car to hotel. We had to carry the other big suitcase and our smaller bags ourselves. Will not use this again as I need help with luggage and people who are in time
