Perfect day in Athens! We opted for the private tour and our guide Jimmy curated the day perfectly for us. We saw everything we hoped and more, and learned so much along the way about Greek history and culture. At each stop, Jimmy shared some tips and highlights and then encouraged us to take as much time as we needed to explore. When we were ready to move to the next stop, Jimmy was seemingly miraculously in the exact right spot waiting for us. Jimmy was so wonderful that we booked another tour with him during our time in Greece. He was professional, kind, extremely knowledgeable and so enjoyable to spend a day with. HIGHLY recommend booking to make the most of your time in Athens!

With only one day in Athens, our private tour was the best way to make the most of it! With Tasos as our savvy driver and Markita as our amazing story-teller guide, we gained great insights into this epic city. We enjoyed lunch complete with fresh-baked bread and homemade ice cream at a cozy restaurant favored by locals. OPA! Most importantly, both Tasos and Markita were exceptionally kind and considerate of our low vision and mobility issues.

Absolutely wonderful day touring Athens with Jimmy. He show us many incredible sites throughout Athens, and drove us along the beautiful coastline. The tour from start to finish was fantastic.! Marita our guide was exceptional. Our driver Christos was on time and so accommodating. This group has to be the best in Athens don’t miss an opportunity to use them. 10 stars for everything about it.

Driver was always on time, very flexible, super respectful and helpful, pickup/dropoff locations that were the most convenient, showed us all the sights that we wanted to see. We had a great time exploring Athens with Marizo and Kiriakos. We loved the passion Marizo had for the city of Athens. Learned so much from her. Also loved the way they worked together to find us the perfect picture locations. And we all appreciated the way Kiriakos navigated the traffic on the streets. Great tour, Highly Recommend!

Chris, the guide picked us up promptly at the designated time. There were six of us and the vehicle was very spacious and comfortable. We had a list of things we had not managed to see: the Agora, the changing of the guard, the Olympic Stadium and the changing of the guard and the archaeological museum. Chris also took us to a delightful restaurant for lunch. He totally adjusted the tour to our needs. He was also very sensitive to the high heat and made us as comfortable as possible. It was a great day for all of us!

We absolutely loved our full day private tour with H.P Tours in Athens!! They picked us up right at our hotel in a beautiful van that fit our family of 13!! We headed straight to the acropolis and was guided around by our wonderful guide (I am drawing a blank on her name, but she was lovely). We hit ALL the spots in one day with ease and comfort. We were so thankful to have hired a tour with a van, as it was very hot and we had kids with us but we never once felt like the tour was just drive by. We were able to experience everything in full detail. Can not recommend this tour enough! Thank you :)

Our guide Helen was knowledgeable, professional and kind and she worked well with our driver Ocean to show us highlights in Athens such as the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, Parliament changing of the guards, Olympic Stadium, Athens highest point and richest neighborhood, the Agora and a wonderful local restaurant for lunch. It was a perfect day and they made the experience easy and organized.

We had a fantastic tour through the Museum and historic sights! Lastly the ladies got in some downtown shopping! Our driver was great and our guide very knowledgeable!

They have excellent 5/5 stars review.. if you don't book with them, you are missing out for sure! Also, forgot to mention, our photographer Vicky & her team from Santorini for recommending H.P. tours! She is excellent too for Santorini day tours and especially the flying dress shots.. check them out in TripAdvisor as well for their 5/5 stars reviews.. Will definitely recommend both them to our friends and colleagues when they travel to either Santorini and Athens :) If I could give them more, it will be 10/5 stars!

Wow. Trip was amazing and Frank K. was unbelievable - scheduling, coordination, information, and even his driving through that traffic were all top-notch. His lunch selection was perfect. We saw it all at our own pace. Highly recommend both the trip and Frank K. as a driver.

Frank was awesome! We really enjoyed our private tour in Athens with him. Since we were coming off a cruise ship, our time was limited, and Frank helped us make the most of it. By the end of the tour, it felt like Frank was part of our group. He was very personable, easy to talk to, and had a wealth of knowledge about the history of Greece and Athens. If I ever travel to Greece again, he’ll be the guide I hire!

Our 2 days in and around Athens were well spent. They took care of most of the admission tickets, maintained a flexible schedule and gave us ample time to see the places we wanted. We had a 20+ seater van and the ride was super-comfortable.

We booked with HP Tours and had Frank Kotsiopoulos who was an excellent driver/tour leader!!! Picked us up at port and showed us incredible sights around Athens with wonderful insights into what we saw, the history as well as general info about life in Greece. The vehicle was perfect for 8 of us plus all our luggage. We also had Mariza as a guide at the Acropolis museum and the Acropolis. She was FANTASTIC!!!! So knowledgeable and so enthusiastic!! The combination of the two made this a perfect day!!!

We very much enjoyed our tour with Thomas. He was very informative, pleasant and willing to adjust the schedule to meet our specific needs. Thomas took us to one of his favorite restaurants for lunch. This was a very nice experience and good introduction to Greek food. I would request Thomas in the future.

A wonderful experience in Athens. We learned so much and enjoyed all the interesting sites. We really saw the best of Athens. Our driver/tour guide was knowledgeable, gracious and accommodating. Our tour guide at the Acropolis was very educated about the site and associated history.

We were in the Mediterranean for two weeks and Jimmy was our favorite guide! He had a delightful sense of humor, was extremely well read and full of knowledge. He shared what he felt we needed to know, but did not overload us with information. He had us where we needed to be and made our visit to Athens extremely memorable. We highly recommend him! Had a great Experience with this tour. Clean car, prompt and able to accommodate our needs. We wanted a full day to get an overview of Athens and go to see the Acropolis and the museum. It was perfect and our driver was well educated and knowledgeable with the history and area.

We toured Athens and took in so much in the day we were to board our cruise. Jimmy, our guide, was fantastic. He got us going early and up to the acropolis and to the changing of the guards and the museum and a general drive around before taking us to the ship at the port. He was so informative and we felt like we did a lot in a short time.

The guide got us to all the locations, easing around the crowds and made adjustments to the timetable to accommodate our wishes. He was able to converse easily with the children and oldsters and brought the Athens experience alive. His historical knowledge made the new museum and the Acropolis understandable to all.

We had a fantastic time. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He made the trip much more interesting giving us facts along the way. He picked a great spot for us to have lunch that locals visit. It was nice to have someone take us and drop us off close to the places we visited. The temps were extremely high while we were there so that was an added bonus.

Frank was the absolute best!! From his historical knowledge to his food recommendations…this is a guide to not miss. Frank gave us plenty of time to explore each stop, ask questions, and take us to places we asked about. We spent time at the Acropolis, watched the changing of the guards, visited St George’s Church (worth the extra steps), temple of Zeus, the Olympic stadium and many other sites. Our lunch stop was phenomenal. True Greek food and experience. If we could give 100 stars, we would. Cannot recommend Frank enough.
