Athens Night Segway Tour

My husband and spent a fantastic evening in the company of our amazing guide Mikhail who was a fountain of knowledge on the history of Athens. He was super enthusiastic, friendly and fun to be with, thanks Mikhail. We would highly Recommend this tour.

Book it you won’t be disappointed. We booked the 8pm tour, it was a lovely time to view Athens. Stelios our guide was great, we had a lot of stops and learnt a lot more about the history of Athens. Also Stelios timed it right so we could see the changing of the guard. A great few hours well spent

Do not miss this tour! We came to Athens and then to Rome on a once in a lifetime vacation. Dimitri our guide was incredible in every way!!! So much fun & the most beautiful way to see the most beautiful places in Athens. Our guide Dimitris was wonderful & it was one of the best things we did on our trip. We had never been on a Segway before, but it was easy to pick up. Strongly recommend!

If you’re in Athens and not doing this nighttime Segway tour, you’re missing out. And if you’re lucky enough to get Demi as your guide, prepare for the highlight of your trip! Demi is the kind of guide everyone hopes for—super friendly, incredibly patient (even with us Segway first-timers), and full of fun, fascinating stories about the city. She somehow gave us just the right amount of history—enough to feel like we learned something without feeling like we were back in school. She took us to all the best spots, including the perfect vantage points to see Athens lit up at night, and even timed it so we caught the changing of the guards—something I wouldn’t have known to look for. If you’re debating booking this, stop. Just do it. And ask for Demi—she’s the best!

If you think the acropolis and all the archaeological sites look great during the day…they look even more incredible at night. Rest your walking legs and treat yourself to a Nightine Segway tour. This was the highlight of my 4 day visit to Athens. It was a lovely way to see the sights, and my guide Dimitri was great. I had done one Segway tour many years ago; and as a 64 year old female it was easy to do. Demetri was super patient, a good tour guide knowledgeable and easy going. We traveled much ground and my favorite was the Panhellenic stadium lit up like gold at night. There was plenty of time to take pictures and I was surprised how easy the Segway was even in crowded places. I felt safe the whole time, and had such fun. I highly recommend to those you like to see Athens in a special way.

So much fun. The tour operator texted and called prior to departure. We were able to move our time earlier and it was great. It was our first time on Segway. We had a lesson prior to leaving. We were able to travel the city and see beautiful places. Our 2 guides were so sweet and took many pictures and videos for our family. This is an experience we highly recommend and will always remember!!

Unfortunately my experience never occurred because the tour operator never showed up. I currently have a dispute filed and have requested a full refund.

Our tour was amazing! Our guide was knowledgeable and allowed us to make unplanned photo stops and even indulged our request for gelato. I was concerned about driving a Segway in traffic but there were not issues. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful Segway tour throughout Athens on the Segway tour. The guide was very courteous in showing us many places, where I took many photos. One of the highlights was watching the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown Greek soldier. The soldiers match with precision in their moves. I highly recommend this tour, be care because some people don't watch where they are going and may suddenly walk in front of you.

This tour helped us have a quick orientation of the city. The night tour especially felt beautiful with less crowd.

This tour was a lot of fun. Easy to find and very accommodating. My wife and I booked as part of our honeymoon and enjoyed it very much. This was our first time ever on a Segway and we picked it up surprisingly quickly and easily.

Elli was awesome!!! It was just the two of us personal attention was first rate. We were unable to find office so we called and she came to get us. Her Segway instruction were great and plenty of time to practice. Would highly recommend Viator give different instructions “near metro stop is very misleading” and I’m directionally challenged. It was my 2nd time Segway and my friend’s 1st time we are both hooked now. Would highly recommend.

The segway tour was very informative. If you have a limited amount of time in AThens and you want to see the sights this is the tour for you.

We had a great time exploring Athens minus the hot sun! Visited many historical sites. The yogurt stop was good!

A brilliant tour, highly recommend the night time experience. Tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Even when we had never tried a Segway before, we had a great time with Ellie going around Athens. We were able to cover a very wide area in the three hours we shared and still were able to walk to some points of interest ant take pictures. Ellie is very personable and made the ride fun and also safe.

Guide was fabulous, Seyways handled amazingly well. Great way to see Athens without all the Walking.

Took my 16 year old son on this tour and we had a fantastic time. After a two minute "tutorial" on how to use a Segway, we were off... I was surprised how intuitive and fun it was riding one of these things. Dimitri was our tour guide and did an excellent job taking us on a whirlwind tour of the key sights in/around Athens. We benefitted by having ideal weather (sunny and 70s at the start, upper 60s by end). Overall, an enjoyable as well as informative experience. I recommend it highly, particularly if you're vacationing with teens.

This was a great way to see beautiful Athens at night! We felts safe in the group and had a lot of fun. I recommend that you do the segway tour on your first or second night in Athens that way you can take note of places that look interesting and visit them in the upcoming days.

I can't recommend this tour enough. my wife and I had a blast. they are great guides and show you a lot. night is especially beautiful with the lights and less traffic. dont miss this one!

Costas was our guide and he was very knowledgeable of the history and area, took us to great locations all in just a couple hours. it was our first time on Segways and we were quickly trained and on our way around the city without having to worry about parking or getting tired from walking.

We loved our Athens Night Segway Tour! Seeing all the amazing sights in Athens at night was breathtaking. Our guide, Kostas was incredible! He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of great information/history about Athens. No one on the tour had rode a Segway before, but Kostas was able to quickly get us comfortable on the Segways and by the end of the evening, we were Segway riding pros! I would highly recommend this tour.

I booked on line via TripAdvisor before we went, seemed a little expensive, but was actually great value for money. We did the 3 hour night time tour the night we arrived. It was really easy to find the starting location - between Zeus’s temple and the Acropolis metro station. We covered so much ground, and saw all the main sights. It was lovely to see the Acropolis at sunset and the other monuments all illuminated, it allowed us to decide what we wanted to go back and see over the next couple of days. When we arrived, our guide (sorry can’t remember his name) gave us each an individual driving lesson & made sure each one was comfortable before moving on to the next. At each main sight we stopped and he helped us park the segways before giving us an explanation of where we were and allowing us to wander and take photos. We even saw the changing of the guard. He was always really attentive and considerate at the stops, making sure we were happy and ready to move on. He was also very careful taking us across the roads and picking the best route. We were not the most confident group - but were all put at ease and totally loved the experience.

Fabio was my guide and it turned out I was the only one on the tour. He made sure I was comfortable and safe on the Segway and we set off for a night tour of Athens. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my (numerous) questions. He made the tour fun and I learned a lot. We covered a lot of ground and it was great to see Athens at night!

<p>One of the most amazing segway tours me and my wife have done! We segway a lot and do it as our first activity usually on city breaks to get to know the lay of the land before the footwork. But doing the segway at night in ATHENS, come on! This is an experience on another level. I am so grateful to our host, she was amazing, fortunately because it was an evening tour, it was just me and my wife so we skipped the beginner's lessons and just got on with it, and she took us everywhere! and had time to stop everywhere and take the history in, she was so good at her history that when we stopped for the changing of the guard which is incredible sight and rich history, the soldier on site came over to commend her for giving accurate information unlike other tour guides It was amazing, thank you for a lovely experience.</p>

<p>Our guide was super fantastic. We went all around athens and learned all about the city in three hours. It was easier to learn how to drive the Segway than I thought.</p>

<p>So much fun- just my daughter and I, Costas was so patient and in no time we were zipping around Athens. He gave us a lot of info about sights we had seen earlier in the week and took us to places we would have never known about ourselves. Please give them a try!</p>

<p>What a magical way to see Athens! We covered lots of ground. It was a great overview of some of the sights that we went back to later during the day. We went in November, so it was cool. Remember there is a wind chill when riding the Segway. Hat, scarf and gloves are recommended. The addition of a guide communication system with microphone and headsets for guests would make the experience much more pleasurable because hearing the guide was challenging in some of the noisy, bustling streets of Athens.</p>

<p>Our tour guide Vera was wonderful and we had so much fun riding around the city after dark. It is very easy to learn to ride a Segway and only takes about 5 minutes. A fun way to get around.</p>

<p>This tour was amazing. We only had 24 hours in Athens and this was the best way to explore the sights. We chose a night tour which started before sunset, allowing us to get good photos. Also because it was much cooler we were more relaxed. Athens after sunset is beautiful as well. Great fun!</p>

<p>This was the highlight of our trip! Our tour guide Gina was fantastic and seeing Athens at night was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable and provided enough information and time at each site. It is hard to believe how much ground we covered in 3 very full hours. As for the segways, they were easy and fun to ride. I would highly recommend this tour.</p>

<p>Love the Segway experience - it's such a great way to tour an area. And the at night tour always is rewarding as it takes us to area and at times we wouldn't otherwise venture. Guide was friendly and informative.</p>

<p>Really enjoyed this tour. It was fun and a great introduction to Athens. Sad to say we only arrived in Athens that afternoon after a 24 hour trip and were really exhausted but we made the most of this tour. Athens was beautiful at night and it was lovely to see the sights, experience the night markets and mingle amongst the many people out wining and dining in beautiful Athens.</p>

<p>We had a fun exciting and interesting evening touring Athens on a Segway. The weather was a balmy 20 degrees C when we met up with our young lady Segway instructor and tour guide to get ready for our tour of the city. It did not take long to get the hang of riding, Probably the most interesting part was touring through the crowded shopping streets and the central square. We got a lot of stares as we wove in and out amongst the pedestrians. But it was also very peaceful as we silently cruised down empty streets under the street lights and other dimly lit public areas without anyone around. Very enjoyable evening especially if you want to find out what riding a Segway is like. - Alf and Marie, British Columbia, Canada.</p>

<p>I have been to Athens twice before and studied Classical Studies at Uni. But this trip showed me the city in a new and exciting way. The Segway allowed us to cover group much more quickly than we would have on foot and the guide knew all the back streets and took us to locations that gave us great views of the city. Furthermore she had good knowledge of the culture and history of this magnificent city.</p>

<p>The tour was fine but it was spoilt due to a snatch thief experience in the midst of our tour and we had to spend time in the police station after that. The tour company, however, was kind enough to provide us with a compensated Segway Tour on another day. One note to other tourists is to cover the buckle of your waist pouch under your shirt and to be more alert in dark areas. The tour brought us round the city and it was a quick way of getting to know more about getting round.</p>

Very easy to learn how to drive.Lots of fun and great places you see at the right timing.The observatory was incredible!!The guide was always concerned about safety and knew a lot about the places we visited. My wife and my two daughters ( 17 and 12) beleive this was the best!!</p>
