Great value. Two adults ( me 59 and daughter 31). Laughed so hard. Staff help you take the best photos. So much better than I thought it was going to be. Bought a great mystery game as the family will use this at Christmas.

Really fun museum, especially for pictures and for kids. The illusions are cool and the space is nicely set up, but honestly the whole visit was over in about ten minutes. It’s enjoyable, just quite small, and the price feels a bit high for how quick the experience is. Still worth a stop if you’re nearby, but a slightly cheaper ticket would make more sense.
I did not expect much after seeing a similar place, but this one was special. Great, friendly, helpful, proactive staff. Every part of the exhibition is great (But the best is the hidden surprise in the toilet)! Great for kids and adults. Highly recommended!
We came here with our three kids (13,8 and 2). They all had a great time. Fun activities for all including parents. Staff was friendly.
Great place for the kids Break from the heat Staff is very friendly We purchased the tickets online and had no difficulty finding the location
We had a wonderful experience at the Museum of Illusions in Athens! We had so much fun exploring all the interactive exhibits and taking some really fun photos. The staff were kind and courteous, helping guide us through the space and even offering to take a photo of our whole family. It was such a thoughtful touch. We highly recommend visiting—it’s a great way to break up your day, especially during the hot summer months. Perfect for all ages and a great indoor activity between your other scheduled outings! Went with our 14 year old son to get away from the heat, shopping and ancient sites and we loved it. He got to be taller than me several times. A couple of the illusions need a 3rd person to take the photo, so it would be great if staff were available. Well worth a quick stop.
An hour of enjoyable activities with kids! our kids, 9 and 6 years old enjoyed the museum! The day we have been there it was a little busy but everything was ok! It needs a little bit of maintenance!
I wish I could give you 10 stars! (Review by a curious and scientifically minded nine year old.) Great option for families.
The Museum of Illusions Athens is a must-visit! 🎉 It's perfect for all ages. 📸 The staff is friendly, and there are plenty of Instagram-worthy spots. A great choice!
Best place I visited at Athens. Staff was so nice and took photos of me as I was alone, also helped to do the 2 people illusions with me. Amazing place 🥰
What a great experience. My daughter and I thought it was wonderful and had lots of fun. Btw, we are both adults, lol.
We visited today and we had a great time! Not only because it was easy to get in and buy the tickets at the entrance, and the time is more than enough to enjoy the fun activities but the best part was the team!! The girls working there are super nice and helped us taking the photos and made this experience even more enjoyable. Thank you and keep the great job!
It’s okay but nothing to write home about. In truth if it wasn’t for the attraction being included in the city pass we would probably have given it a miss especially as we were only there for approx. 35-40 minutes.
The whole family had a great time here with some great illusions and photo opportunities. Staff were very friendly and guided us to get the best photos and took the photos for us. Some of the illusions are basic but there was enough there to capture the interest of the whole family.
The museum only took about 30 minutes to an hour. It was cool, but there was not enough to look at. If anything it’s mainly for family that have children but still a decent museum to visit especially if it’s your first time.
We had a nice time with 2 our teenagers at the museum. The air conditioner was one of the highlights, during the heat wave at Athens, so we spent nice 50 minutes in the museum, taking funny pictures. Not located on the main street but easy to find.
It’s one of the most outstanding experiences we have had so far and became magical because of the gentle and experienced team that helped us to get the most out of it. If you visit Athens, going to the Illusions Museum is u must. Great and fantastic experience.
This attractions is so much fun! The staff elevated the experience, helping get the most from the illusions. A "must" !!
This was a fun experience, though I went alone, and feel it would've been better with at least one other person. Thankfully, the staff was extremely attentive and helpful in taking pictures when I needed someone to do so. This would definitely be great with children. Not so thrilling for adults, though still fun.
Our visit to the museum was fantastic. The displays and illusions were mind-boggling and the staff were absolutely brilliant; very helpful and willing to take some of the funniest pictures of our holiday! We would definitely recommend people take an hour out of the day to visit.
The Museum of Illusions is wonderful place for kids. I went there with my 5 year old niece and she had a wonderful time. Grown ups can have fun there too and it's a wonderful place to take photos and selfies. The location in the heart of the city center with so many cafes and restaurants around is more than ideal.
Great fun, bit like a small version of ripleys belive it of not in the uk, the staff are really helpful and will help you take pictures to see the effects easier, great way to fill an hour or so
Well worth a visit, so much fun and amazement! Reasonably priced entry too. Staff are on hand to help you take the best photos.
Very tiny museum on one floor with very little things to do. Very disappointing and not worth the entry price, would avoid.
On a rainy day in Athens this is a good way to spend 50mins. It is a little steep at 24 euro for 2 adults. However the staff were friendly and helped us to get the best pictures. It’s small but wasn’t busy and better than been out in rain.
This small museum is very entertaining, and staff are friendly and helpful. They offer to take photos (no extra cost) and would advise you where to stand and in what position for the best photo. The ticket price was quite steep at €12 per adult and €9 per child as your time in there is limited to 50 minutes. There are some very good illusions though like a corridor that seems to be tilting this way and that way (it's not) or the infinity room where there are 100s of you.
Visited Athens during one of the coldest weeks. We were looking for an activity that was indoors. So this was a last minute booking. Absolutely loved it!! I took my mother and my 30 something year old sister and we enjoyed the opportunity to re discover our inner child curiosity and fun!! I love that the museum is open quite late. We booked on the same day at 5pm and got a 7:30pm slot. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. There was always member of staff available to help you with the different activities. They also took some really lovely pics!! There were enough areas to keep you interested without it being overcrowded. A brilliant indoor via Trip Advisor Attractions. An attraction for all ages
This is really a fun museum and well worth looking for because it's not easy to find. The illusions were often delightful and there are helpful guides to help you to get the most out of this "fun house". Go!
This was a fun and random find as we were walking through Athens. A couple of floors of some very well executed illusions and one of the best twisting tunnels I've walked through. That said some of them were a little worn but that's to be expected and didn't detract from the overall experience. Staff were helpful and present throughout - if you're passing it's worth dropping in.
All of the picture-taking shots were great and your guides were so helpful. This was a fun experience even for us old folks.
Great experience. The illusions are awesome. The staff is very helpful. Niki (staff) helped us to take very cool photos. The items in the museum store are very good quality. Some of them would be very hard to get at other places. Lovkia (store staff) was demonstrating some of them for us. Everybody is very friendly. A good place to visit with family.
We spent a very enjoyable hour at the museum. Friendly English speaking staff. Great fun for the kids
A fun activity to do, especially for families. Interactive. Clean and with clear signage in Greek and English. The young man on the floor was super helpful and friendly to everyone making sure they got memorable photos.
A wonderful way to spend an hour or two. Staff were exceptionally nice and the place was spotless. Very family friendly. Would highly recommend
Really nice place to visit with your family, great illusion with simple instructions to follow with great funny pictures opportunities!
Lots of fun for all ages and something quite different to see in the heart of Athens. Small museum but packed with lots of fun illusions and photo ops.
This place is small but its so much fun! I love a good illusion and it’s a good break from seeing all of the ruins. The staff there are pretty helpful as they offer you help in taking the photos for you. It was worth it and it’s worth the visit!
Nothing extraordinary. Very small exhibition of visual illusions that could be seen in other cities in much larger exhibition. Can be seen in 20-30 min max. My teen was boarded in 15
Great value and heaps of fun for an hour. My 18 & 15 year old sons both really enjoyed it. Got some great photos utilising some very unusual illusions too.
Wonderful place! Very clever illusions and the staff were great at helping us take pictures! We might have stayed a bit more than 50 mins but the staff seemed to not bother with it!
After a long, hot morning at the Acropolis and Acropolis museum which involved a 2 hour wait in line...our kids were eager to try something they'd find more fun. And the Museum of Illusions was perfect! They had a lot of fun going through the exhibits and doing the pictures. The staff was so friendly and cared about us understanding and experiencing all the illusions, and they made this a better experience. Would definitely recommend for families with children visiting Athens. They impose a time limit with the tickets but it was more than enough time for us to experience everything.
Really nice experience. Never been to one before and this did not dis appoint. Staff really welcoming and friendly. Great fun for the family
Rude staff. Waited for 5 minutes at the entrance with no one in front of us while the staff were on their break, busy chatting away.
There were a few there that we had so much laughter 🤭 We enjoyed our own shadows on the wall as well as that had laugh making pictures where I could fit my husband under my hand
We’re a couple in our late fifties who thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this quirky little museum in the middle of Athens. Staff we’re brilliant and on hand to help with pictures. Yes it’s small on two floors but we certainly enjoyed our hour in the building and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to anyone of any age .Chill out and enjoy . We did 👍
really fun!! era davero bello! it was relly fun especially with children and famikly it is also a really good place to laugh and so!
Great time for all ages! Wonderful setup and display of each illusion. Detailed directions on how to get the best photos. Staff on sight, as well, to help take perfect pictures. We laughed a lot and had the best time! Great little gift shop with puzzles and games to purchase. Only complaint…they only give you 50 mins. I could have spent a couple hours in there
Mildly fun, but quite expensive for the time you spend in there. There aren’t as many interactive elements to the experience as we’d have liked, and it’s all quite small. Staff were really helpful and friendly, though.
This is such a cool spot! The museum is located right in the heart of the Monastriaki neighborhood where there's lots of shopping and restaurants. Cool to do as adults or with kids. Nice thing to do if it's raining as well. The illusions are fun to experience, and they limit the number of people who go in at a time and limit the time you spend inside so it doesn't get overcrowded.
