Very comprehensive, amazing and educational tour. I've always wanted to see the Acropolis, and I knew we needed a guide to get the most of the experience. This tour was amazing and included a private guide for the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum. I purchased the tickets for both online thru the official websites before I left for our vacation. On the day of our tour, George picked us up and took us to our guide Anda who was waiting at the bottom of the Acropolis. Anda was wonderful and very friendly. She was a wealth of knowledge. After our tour with Anda, she took us back to George for a driving tour of the city. George was also wonderful and a great driver when driving can get pretty crazy in the city. We saw everything listed on the tour. My whole family was very happy with the tour and the service we were provided.

The National Library of Greece is situated near the center of city of Athens. It was designed by the Danish architect Theophil Freiherr von Hansen, as part of his famous Trilogy of neo-classical buildings including the Academy of Athens and the original building of the Athens University. It was founded by Ioannis Kapodistrias.
The Academy of Athens is Greece's national academy, and the highest research establishment in the country. It was established in 1926, and operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Education. The Academy's main building is one of the major landmarks of Athens.

Mount Lycabettus also known as Lycabettos, is a Cretaceous limestone hill in the Greek capital Athens. At 277 meters (908 feet) above sea level, its summit is the highest point in Central Athens and pine trees cover its base. The name also refers to the residential neighbourhood immediately below the east of the hill. The hill is a tourist destination and can be ascended by the Lycabettus Funicular, a funicular railway which climbs the hill from a lower terminus at Kolonaki (The railway station can be found at Aristippou street). At its two peaks are the 19th century Chapel of St. George, a theatre, and a restaurant. At Lycabettus hill, you will encounter a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.
We will continue our tour at the Panathenaic Stadium, where the modern Olympic Games started in 1896. Also called "Kallimarmaro" stadium, is one of the highlights of Athens where the classic Marathon ends & the only stadium in the world built entirely of marble.
The Acropolis Museum was founded to exhibit all the significant finds from the Sacred Rock and its foothills. As you enter the museum, look through the plexiglass floor to see the ruins of an ancient Athenian neighborhood, which was artfully incorporated into the museum design.

Had a wonderful time with Giorgos on our tour. It was an easy pickup from the port to the Acropolis and the museum. It was a drop off at both places and no commentary. Afterwards, we had a tour of Athens city and returned to the ship. It was memorable!Private tour
I had another amazing day using this company. Our driver Theo was awesome! He was prompt and accommodating. Definitely recommend.
Our tour was incredible. It honestly felt very in depth, so while we did the highlights tour our guide Anda made it feel like much more. She was very knowledgeable, kind, and engaging to everyone in our group. We are a family of 6 with kids ranging from 9 to 18 and she was able to interact with everyone on all levels in a way that captivated all. Our driver Jason was also super kind and accommodating. Through and through our experience was awesome. We walked away from Athens feeling like we had learned so much more than what we could have done on our own. Not because we wouldn’t have read the signs or descriptions of things but because it was the personal touch of why things were important and how they all fit into the puzzle that we call history.
Excellent! Anda and Anthony were wonderful and very informative. Highly recommend this tour for a small group!
We decided to kill two birds with one stone and have Crispy Locals arrange for our airport pickup and have the driver give us a highlights tour along the way. It was a perfect way to see the city, get our bearings and kill time until we could check in to our hotel. Mr George, our guide, was knowledgeable and entertaining. We enjoyed our time with him and highly recommended the tour company and our guide.
Crisp local arranged everything for us. George was our driver he was great! George had lots of information to share and was right on time. Anda our guide for the Acropolis could have been more knowledgeable and made sure we all were able to keep up and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend George, Anda and Crispi Local.
This experience was so incredible. Here on our honeymoon and so impressed with the service. Giorgos is an amazing and thoughtful guide around the city. We felt so special and would recommend every time! He suggested many wonderful places to visit and eat, and took us to a beautiful restaurant, Prasini Tenta. He even got us flowers and special sweets. We felt very safe and fortunate to have such a knowledgeable, considerate guide as he drove us around the city. We really could relax and enjoy ourselves. Anda showed us the Acropolis of Athens and her passion and love for the sites is infectious! It was like having a conversation with your best friend! Her energy is so lovely. We can’t recommend enough and are beyond happy! We will remember this day and these experiences with these amazing people in this awesome city forever!
We have travelled the world and worked with many private guides. Anda ranks as one of our absolute favorites. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable about. The history of Athens, She is also funny charming and a pleasure to spend time with exploring this provocative city.
My friends, my husband, and I had the pleasure of a private, skip the line, tour of the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum on September 20, 2023. Six people. It was booked through Crispy Local. They provided transportation to and from our hotel. Our driver, George, was friendly, prompt, and very interesting. Our tour guide was Anda. She was amazing at negotiating the crowd to give us the best views of the Acropolis and surroundings. Her knowledge of Athens history and the construction of the Acropolis is encyclopedic! She shared large colorful pictures of how the Acropolis looked when it was completed which helped us understand it’s true magnificence. Not only that, both George and Anda were kind and funny—the kind of people you’d like to hang out and be friends with. I highly recommend this tour! It was the highlight of our stay in Athens.
Andy shared so many wonderful details about the acropolis! Georg was also great to share details about Athens and take us to all the great stops in the city! It was really wonderful to get in an air conditioned car in between stops.
George is an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. We’ll definitely recommend. He brought us to this restaurant in Athens and the food is superb…
On our first day ever in Athens, we took this full day, private tour that included an in depth tour of the acropolis and the museum accompanied by a knowledgeable guide that we had a choice to add— we would never have learned as much or gone smoothly through the crowd without Ourania ! George picked us up right on time at our hotel, and showed us many of the sites of Athens on the way to meet our guide to the acropolis and museum. We then met up with George again, and he continued our driving tour through the city of Athens with several stops, he was knowledgeable of the history as well as the current events of this wonderful city! If this is your first time for Athens, you should take this tour first, and it is worth every euro of it’s reasonable price! I came away from the tour, feeling, excited, knowledgeable and oriented to Athens, knowing just what I wanted to do and plan for the next day or two, we had in Athens! Would’ve been a wonderful way to see Athens, even if I only had had one day! Highly recommend this fantastic, marvelous tour
We request this trip at a really short notice and Mr. John graciously accommodated it in his schedule. We were welcomed by Mr. George who was very warm and friendly. Ms. Alexandra was our tour guide and was very knowledge. She patiently showed us around the Acropolis area and each and every architecture in it. She also gave us a brief city tour and showed us all the heritage points in the city. At this time of the year when crowd is less, a private tour provides a really personalized experience and I really recommend it.
We are a family with 2 kids and we wanted to take this tour stress free as we didn't want to have our own car and we needed to have a very good tour guide, especially with kids! Our tour guide Anda and Mr George, our driver, truly went above and beyond! Anda is great with kids and we really enjoyed the day! We totally recommend them and Crispy Local for organising all.
Anada and our driver were very professional and nice. Anada was extremely knowledgeable, formally educated on history of Athens and also a native. The company accommodated our need for a later pickup after our flight was delayed so we didn’t get an opportunity to do some of the things we planned because it became night however my husband and I still enjoyed our experience.
Anda is incredibly knowledgeable and patient. We were very lucky to have her as our guide. The Acropolis was packed with tourists but she knew how to navigate to the right spots. Her English is excellent and her historical narrations were detailed and engaging. George was our driver and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. He more like tour guide than a simple driver, very knowledgeable. He was very accommodating, he waited for us to take us back to our cruise even though we were a little outside our contracted hours. And even surprised us with a little bottle of the local licor after having a discussion about it in the morning!
After going to the Acropolis and the museum, I wanted to see the city but didn’t wanna do it by myself but I wanted to do it with an expert and I found this tour! Our driver and guide tour were just the best! They took the time to stop in many places we wanted to, we had time to take photos, enjoy the change of guards at the parliament, and even when I asked to go where the nice stores are, they drove us there and gave us recommendations. I feel like I have lived here because this tour will make you feel like home. It’s definitely worth it if you wanna explore the beautiful city of Athens!
I booked a private guided tour with Dr.Terpsicaori (Tour Guide and Archeologist) and Mr. Yannis (driver). I was picked up promptly at 0800 and taken to the first destination. The ENTIRE tour was absolutely amazing. I learned so much and enjoyed the tour to the fullest! I even received a gift of local Greek treats! I HIGHLY recommend this tour! When I come back to Athens I am surely booking a tour with them!!!
