This was an absolutely phenomenal tour! Eleni is amazingly knowledgeable and an expert in both the modern city of Athens and the history present everywhere! We saw so much more in a day than I expected because of her skill and wisdom. The tour van was also super comfortable. We had a fantastic day with Eleni in Athens. Visiting the Acropolis and Parthenon with a private guide is absolutely the way to go. She had so much knowledge and information to share with us and it made our visit an exciting learning experience. Our guide was very knowledgable. We have a 16 and 14 yrs old kids, so she asked us if the information shared was good or if we wanted less or more, We saw all the important areas and she had photos to show us what the places look back in the days, We also went to a local restaurant she suggested. Nice, friendly and affordable place.

We had a half day private guided tour of Athens- Acropolis, Parthenon temple and Acropolis Museum with your guide Eleni. It was an amazing journey where she was able to share with us a lot of details about the ancient historical monuments/structures and the history behind it. She used a lot of images to make it visual and interesting for my children. She was fluent in English, well read and took a lot of pride while talking about her country,people and culture and suggested an excellent authentic Greek food local restaurant" Sabbas" and local market for souvenir shopping "Plaka".She also took us to the Acropolis museum which was very interesting in terms of its modern architecture & ancient history We also had the opportunity to see the change of guard and explained beautifully the story behind it which helped us appreciate it more. She took us to the beautiful Olympic stadium the origin of Olympics & the place where even now some events / concerts take place. She gave us enough breaks,was very considerate & empathetic throughout the journey. Last but not the least,we enjoyed the comfortable ride throughout the journey & through the city centre by Socrates. Eleni was a hugely knowledgeable guide who expertly talked us through the fascinating history of the Acropolis and Parthenon. She is a pleasant, patient and friendly guide who made our time with her a real highlight of our time in Greece. With her, we felt we were in a bubble and were easily able to ignore the inevitable crowds. We felt we had the best Acropolis and New Acropolis Museum experience and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a special way to see the Acropolis. We booked a full day tour with Eleni of the Acropolis, other sites in Athens, and Corinth. We have used several guides in the past while touring some of the great historical places in Europe and the Middle East, and Eleni stood head and shoulders above them all. She is extremely expert in the field of Greek history and the evolution of Greek culture, and her expertise in archeology provides a deeper dimension to viewing the sites. In addition, she is friendly, open to our incessant questions, and fun to be around. We will use Eleni again the next time we’re in Greece!
