I was lucky to have a beautiful day for my tour. Bianca, my guide was kind enough to find me when I couldn't locate the meeting point. We walked around central Athens, hitting all the sites. Bianca shared ancient history, mythology, and modern stories along the way. A great tour overall!

Bianca was the most wonderful, fun, patient, and interesting tour guide! She was AMAZING!!! She made our entire trip worthwhile!
Bianca was our guide but it felt like my wife and I were taking a walk with a longtime friend. The tour was excellent, covering several Athens neighborhoods and Bianca filled us with an appreciation of each neighborhood as it is currently and its rich history. Her easy manner and vast knowledge, which she easily communicated, made this day memorable and we highly recommend this tour and especially recommend Bianca to.anyone visiting. Athens. An afternoon well spent.
Wonderful expierence for our family of 5 visiting from the States. We did a private tour with Georgia who was entertaining, and very knowledgable of the history. We had a delicious coffee break towards the end. As a true fan of Greek mythology this was a fantstic way to spend the morning. Highly recommend!!
Our Athens walking tour with Bianca was absolutely phenomenal! Her historical knowledge, warm personality, and incredible storytelling made the experience truly unforgettable. She took us to hidden gems we never would have found on our own, bringing the city to life in the most magical way. Bianca made the tour incredibly comfortable and engaging for my daughters, taking us to a stunning coffee shop with an Acropolis view, the best Greek yogurt shop, and charming local mini restaurants. She truly knows Athens inside out and made sure we experienced the city like real locals If you’re visiting Athens, booking this tour with Bianca is a must — you won’t regret it!
The private walking tour of Athens was perfect for us. This was our first visit to Athens and we had only one morning to see as much as possible. Bianca was our guide and she was fabulous! She tailored the tour to our needs and our speed. She was a wealth of information, providing history and fun facts. We really lucked out having Bianca as our guide. It was easy to find the meeting point using Google Maps.
Bianca was beyond wonderful! She is knowledge and personable and able to adjust the tour to clients’ needs. We learned so much, saw sites in Athens accessible only on foot, and walked, walked, walked, so be prepared! We highly recommend Bianca and this tour.
Bianca was beyond description as a tour guide; fun, funny, engaging, eager to share her country with us and a wonderful storyteller. We've done many city tours, but this beat them all, and by a huge margin. Licensed tour guides in Greece are required to have advanced degrees and/or complete extensive training, and it shows. We had already walked around some on our own, but seeing it with Bianca was a totally different experience. She gave us SO MANY details that we'd have missed-why the Parliament guards wear what they do, march the way they do; the significance of the many details inside an Orthodox church; how and why the various neighborhoods developed and differ from each other. We experienced everything I'd hoped to see and more, except climbing the Acropolis (which isn't on this tour, but 360 views of it are!). Can you do Athens on your own? Sure. Will you miss anything? ABSOLUTELY! Do this tour-you won't regret it.
Bianca was an amazing guide. She was very warm, friendly, knowledgeable and informative. She showed us various sights and gave us an insight into Athens, the history and culture. She messaged me very soon after I booked the tour and confirmed the meeting place etc. We were a party of 2 couples and we all came away saying how lovely Bianca is and that it was the best tour we have done. I highly recommend this tour.
I had the best time exploring Athens with my guide, John! He showed me the hidden streets in the quaint neighborhoods around the city center. He brought the ancient city to life with his knowledge and enthusiasm!!
We had a private 4 hour tour of the acropolis and the surrounding neighborhood plaka and it was incredible! Our guide Eli was extremely knowledgeable great to chat with, she was great about finding shady spots around the tour to stop and give explanations. We could hardly tell it was the peak of a heat wave! The coffee break halfway through was a nice break and allowed us to chat and get to know our guide a bit better! I can't recommend this experience enough! Do yourself a favour and book with Be a Greek, it completely enhanced the experience for us!
Bianca was a wonderful, knowledgeable tour guide. She was amazing with my 14 year old daughter who is very into history and mythology. It was more like walking around with a friend than a tour guide. Would recommend to anyone wanting to tour Athens!
5 definitely. Bianca was fantastic! So knowledgeable about everything! We loved her. We learned so much from her today!
Not only was John and native he was knowledgeable, , informative, helpful, very professional and courteous and funny. The four hour tour not only gave us a good overview of Greek history, but also a layout of the city. Would recommend.
John was a fantastic tour guide! So many fun and historical stories! We enjoyed every bit of the walk! The stop at the rooftop bar was really fun!
Our trip to Greece was amazing! We are so happy we worked with Be a Greek! Can’t express how smooth everything went! We were there for 15 days. Everyday we received a message reminding us the time our driver would arrive & plan for the day. Every ride was on time & friendly. Our guides were top notch & very informative! We were so relaxed because everything was taken care of! I highly recommend Be a Greek! We loved working with them & LOVED our whole trip!!
The tour was well worth it. Giannis (John) was a knowledgeable and personable guide - his historical knowledge was excellent and insightful - we had a wonderful conversational throughout the tour. It is a lot of walking but so many sites were covered. We enjoyed our time!
The tour was wonderful and Bianca was an amazing tour guide. It was a great balance of history, education, and information about the city as a whole. And the pace was perfect. Would highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our walking tour with Effie this week. We started at 8 am which was perfect since it’s been so hot in Greece. A driver picked us up from our ship/port and we met Effie who took us on a fun and educational walking tour. Coffee was included in the tour and it was a perfect break to sit and relax for a few. Our 12 year old said she thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Effie took time to ask her questions about Greek mythology and educate all of us about the history and tales of Greece. I felt that the price of this tour was more than reasonable and less than that offered by our cruise line.
Amazing 2 days tour experience ! Extremely professional agency (Be a Greek) and incredible italian speaker guide (Alexia). The agency guys called me one month before my trip to accomplish an assessment about our family desires and objectives. Then they tailored a personalized experience that shared with us a couple of weeks before. The actual tour definetely exceeded our expectations ! Thanks a lot to Bianca, Antonis and Alexis.
We had a great tour with Maria(Martina). She provided us with a great background on Athenian history and how the Greeks contributed to Western Civilization. Additionally, we spent time exploring some of the hidden gems, such as the Plaka neighborhood. We also had time to take some Instagram worthy photos of the highlights of Athens, such as the Acropolis, the Agora and neighborhood's in Athens. Our guide was knowledgeable, patient and pleasant during the tour. She also customized the tour to suit our needs, so that we would see something different, as we had conducted a tour the day before. Highly recommend this tour and Maria as your guide. Fun travels, Mark
We are a family of 5 adults. We decided to spend a cultural week in Greece and Athens from 08 to 15 April, as we have been doing for years: every year a different destination for the world. When we organize a trip, for some years we have used the experience of GetYourGuide to get to know the countries and cities we visit, possibly with an Italian-speaking guide. We chose this private walking tour in the heart of Athens with Be a Greek, with an Italian-language guide: it was a truly pleasant experience that fully met our expectations. The guide Dimitrios spoke perfect Italian (he studied Medicine in Italy, in Bologna) and introduced us to the archaeological sites, monuments and the most recent places in the history of Athens as scheduled. Dimitrios is very prepared, he involved us and was able to convey his affection and his respect for these places: the 4 hours passed without us noticing. It was like visiting Athens with a friend. This is an experience to do for those visiting Athens.
