I found Andreas based on online reviews and booked a half-day trip with him. Andreas was very professional and well-prepared, providing detailed information about the pick-up and drop-off locations and itinerary before departure. The itinerary was well-organized, and his explanations of Greek history gave us foreign tourists, who were not very familiar with Greek history, a good understanding of it and a clearer knowledge of it. Under Andreas' arrangement, we had a fulfilling and enjoyable morning.

The Parthenon, dedicated by the Athenians to Athena Parthenos, the patron of their city, is the most magnificent creation of Athenian democracy at the height of its power. It is also the finest monument on the Acropolis in terms of both conception and execution. Built between 447 and 438 BC

The Panathenaic stadium provides you with a nice opportunity to learn how an ancient stadium of the 4th century BC was. The stadium doesn't look like an ordinary archaeological site. There are no ruins. This stadium was not rebuilt during modern times. However, in 1896, during the first modern Olympic Games, there were works for the renovation of its marble covering. The work was financed by Georgios Averof. The present-day shape of the stadium is the same as the ancient stadium of the 4th century BC, was.
The Academy of Athens was founded with the Constitutional Decree of March 18th, 1926, as an Academy of Sciences, Humanities and Fine Arts. This building is a copy of the Propylaea of the Acropolis.
The Presidential Palace, formerly known as the New Palace, today houses the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic and is the official residence of the President of the Hellenic Republic in Athens. Prior to the abolition of the Kingdoms by the referendum of 1974, the building was the official palace of the Kings of the Greeks. There you will see the guards of the president of the Greek Republic a ceremonial infantry unit that guards the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Presidential Mansion in Athens, Greece.
Lycabettus hill is the highest point in the center of Athens. Thousands of Athenians and tourists climb up to the top every year to enjoy the view from a height of 277 meters.
The Plaka area is the old historical neighborhood of Athens, is situated under the Acropolis, around the northeastern slopes of the Sacred Rock, between Syntagma and Monastiraki metro stations. Its village-like atmosphere, neoclassical buildings, quaint cafes, souvenir shops, and museums make it a favorite among visitors and Athenians who stroll along its narrow streets. Plaka is visited by hundreds of thousands of tourists around the year.

I would highly recommend this trip. The vehicle was very clear, had air conditioning and was comfortable. The driver was very helpful and knowledgeable. Would say this is far better way to see Athens than using a coach alternative.
Our driver Andreas was amazing - very knowledgeable, flexible and accommodating - Athens did not disappoint, the tour was well rounded and orientated us to the city. Would recommend.
We had a fabulous experience with Andreas He is: 1. A real gentleman 2. Very knowledgeable about Athens and its history 3. Very organized and clear to present the historical point of the city ( ipad with pictures and dates, map of Greece ….) 4. A very good driver 5. Adaptable … he will go where you want to go , stop when you want or continue if you want … 6. Punctual
Andreas was very knowledgeable and took us to a lot of great places during our tour. It was a pleasure having him take us on the tour.
Excellent 3 hour tour of Athens! Driver met us as we exited the chaotic cruise port - holding a sign with our name like a beacon. It could not have been easier to find him. He quickly escorted us to the car, loaded the luggage and we were off! The driver drove and talked about what we were seeing and what we were about to see at the Acropolis. We had timed tickets purchased earlier at the instruction of the guide. He drove us right up to the gate of the Acropolis with detailed instruction is where to enter, what we would see, and an approximate time we would finish. We were told to call him once we started walking out of the exit. He met us where he dropped us off and we’re back on tour. He showed us the presidential offices, we saw changing of the guard from our car, and a modern day amphitheater. After a few mired sights and commentary we headed tot he Athens airport for our flight home. This was a perfect short tour of Athens with Acropolis! Our luggage was secure with our driver the whole time. Thank you so much!
Absolutely the best way to see all that Athens has to offer from a local and in air-conditioning! This was one of our favorite days of our trip because everything was well thought out which let us have a fun relaxing day with our family. Thank you Athens Tour 365, we've already recommended you to our friends :)
Andreas was a wonderful guide and crafted a tour to provide us the highlights of Athens hitting all the highlights in a half day. He was knowledgeable and timed our visits to the sites so that we could maximize the experience.
Andreas did a fantastic job getting us to just the right spots as well as explaining each of the sites we visited. He was pleasant and accommodating making sure we got to each of the experiences at just the right time. We truly enjoyed our time on this tour.
We had an incredible afternoon tour in Athens with Andreas as our guide. His extensive knowledge of the city's history and culture was truly impressive. Andreas shared fascinating insights and stories that brought the ancient sites to life for both me and my son. What stood out most was Andreas' friendly and engaging demeanor. He made us feel comfortable from the start and was always happy to answer our questions. His passion for Athens was contagious, and he tailored the tour perfectly to keep my son interested throughout. Andreas went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. He offered great recommendation for local restaurant to visit during our stay. His expertise and warm personality made our tour not just educational, but thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend Andreas to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and personable guide in Athens. Our afternoon with him was definitely a highlight of our trip!
Wonderful experience, Ruslan was a great driver very friendly and professional, amazing time and highly recommend the private tour aspect was perfect for my wife and I
All of the positive reviews I read before the trip are correct. We had a great half-day (5 hours actually) tour of Athens, which is exactly what we needed for our two-night stopover. Our driver Socrates was perfect. He is very kind, humble, informative, and customer-focused. We can't say enough good things about him. We saw the key sights that we wanted, and Socrates was always flexible enough to make changes if required. 100% recommended.
This was a great way to beat the heat during the heat wave and see a lot of Athens. We didn’t feel like we missed anything. Alex was so much fun, he really made the trip so much better. We definitely recommend this tour and ask for Alex. You won’t regret it!
The guy who gave us the tour made extra stops that were not in the itinerary. He explained the history of different things and had visuals, i.e a map, photos. He got us tickets for the Acropolis before the tour which really helped. Along with that, he gave us postcards and a book about the stops we were making.
Our half day tour, with tour guide, Alex, was exhilarating, and very enjoyable. Alex speaks very fluent, English, and, as is extremely knowledgeable regarding the things that tourists need to see in such a short time. I could never have planned a tour as intense and unique without Alex‘s guidance and suggestions. This completely exceeded any and all expectations that we had before the tour.
Wow we spend the day with Alex and he and the tour was amazing! He took care on every detail to make an unforgettable experience. Also Andreas is a very kind person who was attentive whole the time of our booking. Definitely I would take another tour with them. 100% recommended.
Andreas is a true proffesional. On the way to Santorini my family and I had a 5hr layover in Athens. Andreas was able to show us the sites and give us history on abbeautiful city. We also had time to get a bite to eat that was fantastic. Don't second guess hiring him. The difference in cost vs others is well worth it.
Kostas was the man! He picked us up from the port, hit all the tourist spots and then drove us to the airport. The whole time he was sharing fun facts and history that was actually interesting, not just reading from a script. The tour was absolutely perfect, his knowledge of the city is unmatched. Booked this two days out and were relieved to get a confirmation quickly after sending the request. The tour was customized to fit exactly what we wanted to see in the amount of time we had so we never felt rushed or like we were missing out. Will absolutely go with this tour company when we come back to Greece.
We spent 6 hours with Kostas and had the time of our lives! We drove from downtown Athens to the coastline, visited the Temple of Poseidon, and learned all about Athens history and culture along the way. We are a family of 4 and fit comfortably in a very clean, well-maintained Mercedes. One of the highlights of our day was stopping for lunch at a local restaurant called 5F on Main Street in Antiparos. The chef, also named Kostas, prepared the best meal we had during our time in Greece. Many thanks to Kostas (both of them!) for making our day incredible and for Andreas for agreeing to pick us up at 415am the following day to get to the airport. I highly recommend Athens Tours 365!
I had asked some Greek Heritage friends in the U.S. for recommendations of the best private tour of the Athens area. Their family in Greece agreed that Athens Tours 365 was the best in the business so I arranged a 6 hour tour in their luxury SUV. All was well and I had numerous email communications with them leading up to the day before our arrival. Unfortunately my wife became ill and at 5:30 AM the day of the tour I had to cancel our plans. I was treated better than I deserved in that unfortunate event and I am very grateful Athens Tour 365 was as good a group as advertised. I hope to return and finish the tour!
great day in Athen, nice local food at a good restaurant. Great driver. Many Thanks to Jack. Booked 1/2 day but took 6 hours at the end. Picked is at Piraeus, sightseeing in Athen + HardRock Shopping + dropoff at Hotel
We did a very enjoyable half day Athens tour with Andreas. He also did our airport transfers. Andreas is very knowledgeable about his city and very friendly. He brought water for us at the start of a very hot day. It was interesting seeing the perspective of the city in a car and how the neighbourhoods differ. It included a trip to the amazing Panthetic stadium that hosted the first modern Olympics. You can image the crowds as you sit this all marble stadium. We then continued to the Athens riviera and some beautiful sights there. Including Lake Vouliagmeni. We definitely plan to go back and see more one day. Especially when the covid-19 crisis is over. I thoroughly recommend doing a tour.
