Guide was good, told us about sites ,and the city. All stops were good, but wished we could have got to acropolis, don't know why we didn't get there,we might have misunderstood guide about getting there. Otherwise, great tour.

Wonderful tour! Our guide was outstanding, very knowledgeable and accommodating. Dimitrios took us to spots we would have never seen without him. Highly recommend.
Wonderful experience. Our driver Maria was prompt and courteous. Very convenient pick up and drop off both from our apartment and the tour sites. Maria was flexible with our agenda and provided good insight into culture and history.
Maria was outstanding. She was smart and charming while selected interesting spots for us to enjoy. We would definitely select her again!
Maria was a wonderful guide!! Not only was she very informative but she was also very kind and caring towards my parents who sometimes had difficulty in walking especially with the uphill climbs. She gave us time as we needed to spend in each of the places we visited and found parking spots as close as possible. She has a genuinely kind personality and we were very grateful to have had her as our guide in Athens!
Our guide Maria was wonderful - we saw all the sights! The tour was just that two of us and Maria had a very comfortable car. She was very informative.
The tour was wonderful. Great value for the price. Perfect amount of time. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Greece. We never felt rushed.
We had a great half day tour in Athens with 7 people (kids and adults). It was well run, informative and just the right amount of time. Our guide (Dimitrios) was great and very knowledgeable, friendly and experienced. Would highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our day with Dimitri! What an excellent guide! We learned so much about Athens and loved all of his recommendations. I felt the only way to go was a private tour❤️
Our guide Maria was amazing! Super friendly and approachable, knowledgeable and a skilled driver. Communication was excellent and her recommended time slot reservation for Acropolis was perfect. She took us to several amazing locations dropping us off and picking us up with clear directions and as close as possible and even provided water to us. Can’t recommend enough!!
We only had a short time in Athens and this private city tour turned out to be exactly what we needed. Visiting the Acropolis and seeing the Parthenon up close was incredible. We also saw key highlights like the Panathenaic Stadium and Syntagma Square, which gave us a full picture of the city. The whole experience felt smooth and well organized, and having a private driver like Dimitrios made it much more relaxed. If you want to see the main sights of Athens without stress, this tour is a really solid choice.
As first-time visitors to Athens, we wanted something that would help us understand both the ancient side of the city and its modern atmosphere, and this tour did exactly that. The Acropolis was of course impressive, but I honestly also loved driving through the different neighborhoods and hearing small stories about daily life in Athens today. Our guide was easy to talk to and happy to answer random questions, which made it feel more personal than a standard tour. The pace was comfortable, and we had enough time for photos without feeling rushed from one stop to the next. A great option if you want a complete and enjoyable introduction to the city.
We were picked up by a cab. Driven to locations, then we bought tickets and a guide. If you want to spend $200 for a cab ride, nothing else, this trip is for you. I would like a refund or credit. Cheaper with Uber with a nicer ride
What a wonderful time I had in Athens in a 7 hour layover. I booked Athens Tours and Maria picked me up at the airport and took me on a highlights tour and pointed out the beautiful historic monuments. She let me get out and take pics of the iconic places! We ate traditional food and walked the streets of the old Roman market place. Perfect! I now have a new friend in Athens!
If you want to see the best of Athens without feeling rushed, this private city tour is the perfect choice. We visited the Acropolis, stood right in front of the Parthenon, and explored several important landmarks around the city including the Panathenaic Stadium and Syntagma Square. What made the experience special was how our guide connected ancient Greek history with modern Athens, which made everything easier to understand. The private vehicle was comfortable and the schedule was flexible enough for photos and short stops. For first-time visitors looking for a well-organized Athens highlights tour, this is an excellent way to experience the city. Our driver Maria was awesome and very helpful.
If you want to see the absolute best of Athens without wasting time, book this private city tour. We covered the Acropolis, Parthenon, Panathenaic Stadium, and the highlights of Athens comfortably and efficiently, with a knowledgeable guide who made history feel alive. The private vehicle, flexible pace, and zero stress made all the difference. Perfect for first-time visitors who want a complete Athens experience in just a few hours — worth every euro. Our driver Dimitris was very knowledgeable and polite. Thanks so much for everything
Our 5 hour layover tour in Athens was fantastic! Our driver was punctual, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. We saw all the main highlights without feeling rushed and learned so much about the city’s history. The car was clean and comfortable, and everything ran smoothly. Perfect way to make the most of a short stay in Athens — highly recommended! Thanks Maria you were great.
We had a great tour of Athens with a life long locals insights and we were able to see so much more than we could have on our own.
We had a fantastic half-day tour in Athens with our amazing guide, Maria. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience both fun and informative. In just a few hours, we were able to see many of the city's highlights, including the Greece Basketball National Team stadium, the iconic Acropolis, the Athens Panathenaic Stadium, Syntagma Square, the Hellenic Parliament building, and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier. One of the highlights was witnessing the changing of the guards at the president's residence — a truly memorable experience. We also had a chance to see the beautiful Athens University, which added a cultural touch to the tour. The tour included seamless transfers from the Piraeus port to the Athens airport, which made everything convenient and stress-free. Overall, it was a perfect way to see the city's top sights in a limited amount of time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens!
We had only a morning free in Athens and wanted to squeeze in as much as possible. This half-day private tour delivered exactly that. Quick, efficient and surprisingly fun. The quide kept things interesting without dragging on and we still had time to grab lunch in Plaka before heading to the airport. If you are on a layover, don't even think twice---book this. I fully recommend this company.
Our cruise ship docked in Piraeus for just one day, so time was tight. This private half-day Athens tour fit perfectly. The driver picked us up right at the port, and we were standing at the Acropolis before the crowds got too heavy. I especially enjoyed seeing the changing of the guard outside the Parliament—such a unique touch. It was well organized and we made it back to the ship with plenty of time to spare.
We were with my elderly parents and I was a bit nervous about how they would handle the walking. The guide was fantastic-she knew when to take breaks and even suggested alternative routes that were easier on the steps. We still got to enjoy the Parthenon, the Acropolis Museum, and all the highlights without my parents feeling exhausted. I'd really recommend this for seniors or anyone looking for a more comfortable way to see Athens.
We love Maria! She was knowledgeable on the history of Athens, she drove safely, she was warm and welcoming and we felt safe in her care!!!
I am history nerd so walking up to the Parthenon has been on my bucket list forever. This tour didn't disappoint. Our guide was clearly passionate and explained the significance of each temple without overwhelming us with dates. We also saw the Panathenaic Stadium which i didn't even realise was included, and it was incredible. For anyone interested in ancient Greece but with limited time, this half day private tour really covers a lot. We booked a guide at the entrance of Acropolis and it was fascinating.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from a half-day private tour, but, wow this was worth every minute. Our guide met us right at the hotel and from the very beginning made us feel comfortable. The Acropolis was obviously the highlight, but what I loved most were the small details and stories about Athens that I would have never noticed on my own. Skipping the line at the Parthenon saved so much time. If you have only got a short stay in Athens, this is obviously the best way to see the essentials. Good job Dimitrios.
Great communications and flexible tour around 5 key stops left us with a good knowledge of Athens and its highlights in 5 hours. Maria also gave us great lunch and touring recommendations.
I am very happy. He is a responsible, respectable, and very professional person. I recommend him 100%. He has extensive knowledge and a car cleaning service. He is attentive and very cheerful.
We had an awesome private tour with Dimitrios!! He was extremely nice and knowledgeable. He took us to all the highlights, and told us about the history of Athens and the significance of the many places we visited and/or saw along our path. Highly recommended!!
Maria was very kind and knowledgeable guide. She took our family to must visit places in a very organized itinerary within 4 hours. Communicating with her was very easy and she accommodated our tour schedule based on the ticket availability. She also gave us lots of information about historic buildings in Athens and history of Greece. She is very friendly to our kids also. Perfect guide for family especially with kids!
We had a great experience with Kyriakos. He took us all over to see the sights. Some we just rode by and others we stopped to see. It was perfect.
Kyriakos is very informative and gave us water! Lots of water! I was HOT. 🤣 He was so fun and friendly that we hired him to give us rides for our whole week stay, while in Athens! He was ALWAYS on time and got us where we needed to be - with plenty of time to spare! He told us of places we should eat and we invited him to join us at one of his recommended places! He explained the menu to us and made suggestions so we would know what to order! We enjoyed talking with him hearing the history of the city and sharing some of our American humor and southern slang sayings! Ie, if you have to pee while you ride with him, tell him "I need to walk my dog!" He will take you to the nearest water closet!😆😅🤣 We had a great time!
Kyriakos Spanoudis is simply excellent. He was timely, professional and very knowledgeable. He took us to every spot we were interested in seeing and made our day memorable. We highly recommend this tour and Kyriakos Spanoudis for any services he provides.
The perfect way to spend a layover! Our guide was knowledgeable, the sites were breathtaking and everything was perfectly timed. We saw the Acropolis, Plaka, and even had time for a delicious Greek lunch. Stress-free, comfortable, and unforgettable-highly recommend this tour to anyone with a few hours in Athens!
Awesome experience. Maria, our guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She also gave us great tips on other activities in the area
We saw everything in Athens , the tour is so well designed that we manage to see all the sights even though there was a lot of traffic in Athens. Good job. Thanks Dimitrios
Acropolis , Panathinaic stadium , Parliament, change of the guards Athens trilogy , Lycabettus Hill Prime Ministers and Presidents of Hellenic Republic offices. A fantastic glimpse of Athens. Highly recommended. Very quality service . Real professionals
Athens is so unique and imaginable, beautiful. We show all the major sightings. The driver was knowledgeable and he gave to us beautiful stories about Athens and the life of Athenians. Very good service professional attitude. Strongly recommended
The driver was excellent and very friendly. As for the tour it was marvelous because the driver knew and answer almost all the questions we asked
Dimitrios is a friendly, kind and professional driver! Very well organised with an incredible knowledge about all ancient sites of the city! We manage to see the most important monuments in only few hours! I highly recommend exploring Athens with him!
Dimitris was excellent. We spent five wonderful hours together in Athens. He took us to all the important sights safely and comfortably. Thank you Dimitris!
Definitely a 5-star experience and much better than a large tour group experience. Glykeria is very punctual and communicates very well…you’ll never worry about whether she’s on time. However, best of all is the customization of your trip. If you want more or less time at certain sites, no problem. You want to add a stop or two, no problem. We took advantage of this by going to the Temple of Poseidon. An added bonus is that as she is giving you the history and mythology behind the archeology, she will also give recommendations for restaurants and other sites. Take her advice on these.
The experience for Athletes Kyriakos was magnificent . Perfect knowledge of ancient greek history 100% recommended.
Dimitris our driver was the best. Perfect experience. knowledge about all ancient sites of the city and perfect food recommendations.
Kyriakos is the best! The most comfortable way to explore the city. I saw all the highlights in just a few hours and I learned with the easiest way the incredible myths of ATHENS.
Dimitrios was incredible! His communication was amazing and made my pickup at the airport so easy. He was so kind and knowledgeable and made it so easy to see so much of Athens in a short time. I highly recommend seeing Athens with him. As a solo female traveler, I felt so safe and comfortable.
I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Dimitrios. He is a consummate professional and a genuine nice person, who goes out of his way to ensure your tour with him is an enhanced experience. Thank you so much, sir, and I can only hope people will read this review and hire you. Do take him out to lunch as he tends to skip it!
This tour was the only one that adapted perfectly to my layover in Athens from 6 AM to 11 AM and couldn't have been better! After I booked it I was assigned a driver, Kyriakos, and he contacted me right away to know the exact time of my flights and tell me about recommended ticket purchase before arriving. I arrived really early in the morning, around 6 AM and was greeted by Kyriakos right away. He was waiting for me at the Airport at exactly 6:30 AM, our scheduled time, inside a bright yellow taxi. Athens is around 45 mins from the Airport and Kyriakos was kind enough to tell me a bunch of stuff about the city, the Greek culture and language and since the Acropolis only opened at 8AM he took me to a great bakery + café spot to have breakfast. Since I had already bought my tickets to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum I didn't have to wait to get in. I would simply text Kyriakos when I was ready to leave and he would be waiting for me at the pick up point. I had a great time with Kyriakos and couldn't recommend him enough. He even gave me an unexpected Greek present: local dried apricots and natural almonds, a real treat! He adjusted the tour to my needs and made sure I didn't miss my flight. I will definitely be contacting him again in my next tour in Athens. Thank you Kyriakos!
Very nice trip. It was a last minute decision to have a day trip to Athens with this service. From airport pick up, communication was very fast with the host- car driver/ guide using whatsapp. Driver was nice lady, she took us to many nice objects, so we could take photos there. She said how much time we have each time we stopped , and she stayed at the car, we were able to leave our bags in the nice luxurious car. So without bags, we were going to make nice photos. It was fun. And we said at what time is our next flight, we had like 5 ours between flights, and she calculated exact time so we could manage to be on time in airport. The Driver was very nice and were telling us about places, also she had good English. So 155€ on two persons for us was good investment, because we were never been in Athens, and this was stress free ride with personal guide. If you are willing to spend some extra money on your travel and never have been in this place, i would recommend you this serviss.
We had a great tour with Dimitrios around Athens! We are so lucky to have had him as our driver. He was very communicative, friendly, and had many great stories about Athens. He took us to spots we wanted to go, made recommendations on where to grab a quick lunch, and took us to places we hadn’t known to see! We’re so grateful for his kindness!
Booked the layover tour with Dimitrius. I would give this 10 stars if I could! He was on time, efficient, knowledgeable, polite, car was nice & clean and super nice! Got to see everything plus more during my layover tour and got the best pics! He advised me on everything before and during. Priced great, very convenient, private tour. Worth every cent! Do yourself a favor and book next time you’re in Athens, they really take pride in what they do which is very rare these days!
