Our private Athens tour with Panos was incredible - we were so fortunate to have him as our guide around the beautiful city of Athens as he tailored the experience for us and shared an immense amount of history and insights. It was a hot day in Athens for us and Panos made the day extra accommodating for us so that we could take photos in front of big architectural and historical sites without being in the heat which made our trip so much more pleasurable. Panos is a very thoughtful and organized tour guide who made sure we knew meeting points for when we had time to explore and a backup plan in case our phones died which made us feel very secure and comfortable. We were so blessed to have Dionisis as our guide today. We had a wonderful experience and he was a fantastic guide. He was incredibly accommodating as well as kind and very generous with his knowledge in his time. He was able to keep my 12 year-old and 17-year-old nieces engaged for the entire time and they had so much fun. They didn't even realize they were learning. We were very glad that we only had one day in Athens and fate smiled upon us and gave him to us as our guide !!

Dionisis was an amazing guide. Such a wealth of knowledge for such a very young man. He was incredibly respectful and was very careful with our time We initially thought he was arriving late, but then we realized he was arriving early lol jet lag! This wonderful young man is not only student at the university of Athens as an archaeology major, but also proudly served in the Greek military as a presidential guard. Because of his elite status, we were able to go seethe changing of the guard, and get pictures taken with them, which was a great honor. He gave us such a thorough understanding of Greek , and the pride that the Greek people have for their freedom and independence. We were truly amazed. He kept my 17-year-old and 12-year-old nieces engaged for the entire day, and they didn't know that they were learning. Our comfort and our time were his first priorities. He made us feel like a member of his own family and we were very happy. would highly recommend his services to anyone.

We had a fabulous exploring Athens with Panos, who greeted us promptly at appointed outside our hotel. An air-conditioned Mercedes is certainly the ideal transport to see the sights of Athens in July. We visited everything on our list of "must see" places which included the Acropolis (of course), the ancient Agora, the Acropolis Museum and the changing of the guard at the Parliament House. Panos kept us well supplied with chilled water and provided a very informative commentary throughout.

Simply outstanding in every way! Panos was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. He is a wizard on the road, very patient, and took great pains to offer us different options to visit. He even hooked us up with a tremendous traditional Greek restaurant for lunch. If you’re going to visit Athens sign up for this tour, and ask for Panos!

My wife and I came to Athens as part as our honeymoon and wanted to see as many historical sites as possible. We booked this tour and Panos was our driver (who also is the owner of the company that does this tour). Panos was nothing short of amazing! He was very knowledgeable about all the sites. He gave great suggestions on what to look for at each site, provided detailed background of the history of each site, and was very punctual and patient with us. He also recommended a great spot for lunch, Arcadia, that I would definitely go to again. We saw everything from the Acropolis, Parthenon, and the Agora in the older part of Athens all the way to Parliament and the changing of the guard ceremony. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyway visiting Athens. For us, it was worth every penny.

Great day in Athens. Panos was terrific. He picked up us on time in a clean Mercedes C-Class. Took us to all of the best sites in Athens and knew many shortcuts to avoid traffic. Panos was very nice and knew his Greek history! Highly recommend this tour!!

This was a wonderful way to see Athens and Panos was able to accommodate on so many levels! First of all…it was raining hard the day I booked the tour - Panos worked with me to reschedule for the next day instead! The next day the sun was out and the day was perfect for sightseeing. I had broken three ribs a few weeks before my visit to Athens; Panos also worked to make sure I wasn’t overly tired. I was able to see the Acropolis and spend some time at the Agora, catch lunch at a Taverna and see the original Olympic Stadium, Mt Lycabetta, and the changing of the guard! An amazing day that will be a treasure for years to come! I cannot recommend Panos highly enough!

Panos and company were incredible - the day I booked there were significant rain and downpours. Panos was able to work with me to reschedule and do the tour the next day - I am so glad things worked out this way! The next day, the sun was out and weather was perfect! I was traveling after breaking my ribs several weeks before, so Panos could not have been more accommodating! I saw the Acropolis and Pantheon, Ancient Agora, had a lovely Greek lunch outdoors, and saw the changing of the Guard, the original Olympic Stadium, and the Mt Lycabetta - I could not believe the pace and amount of traffic - Panos safely and expertly navigated to get to all these places! All the while, telling me bits of Greece’s history and pointing out memorable temples and places of ancient history - amazing!! I would not hesitate to recommend his service and if I get to Greece again, will definitely do so myself!

We booked this Athens tour to see a lot of the city’s main historical sites in a short amount of time, and it definitely delivered. Having an air-conditioned driver made getting around easy and comfortable, and we visited sites that would have been difficult to reach on our own. The Parthenon tickets were purchased ahead of time, which meant we could skip the line—a really helpful touch. Our driver, George, was pleasant, accomodating and provided history and context at each stop. We covered the Acropolis, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Panathenaic Stadium, Syntagma Square, the Changing of the Guards, Ancient Agora, and Mount Lycabettus. The Acropolis and Ancient Agora were definitely highlights for us. We opted not to have lunch, so the tour ended a little early, but we still saw all the main sites. The tour is convenient, but a bit overpriced for what you’re getting—it’s mostly a driver with some historical commentary. Still, it’s a great option if you want to see the key spots without navigating Athens on your own.

Booked the Full Day Athens tour for my wife and son and we're so glad we booked with A-List Travel. Panos was their guide for the day and he was outstanding. The tour was very informative and Panos made sure they saw all the best sights at a very comfortable and leisurely pace. He also took care of purchasing the Acropolis tickets for my family in advance, so that they didn’t have to stand in line to buy the tix. Going around in their Mercedes sedan was also very nice. The hotel pickup and drop off went without a hitch. Communication during booking and post booking was also excellent. My family said they had the best time touring Athens. We had a very informative 8h tour with our guide Sunday. Our tickets to the acropolis were pre booked so that we didn’t have to queue to buy tickets. We also visited the ancient agora of Athens and Piraeus, watched the changing of guards outside the presidential palace and the saw the Panathenaic stadium. He is clearly a very experienced guide - throughout the tour, he made sure that my mum and I were adequately hydrated and went the extra mile to give us chilled water twice. Despite the 36 degree heat, my mum and I enjoyed our time. I would highly recommend this tour as Sunday is an exceptional guide!

The views were amazing so make sure you have a good camera as it will be busy. Good walking shoes and plenty of rehydration a must especially working up the Acroplis

We were looking forward to this tour but had a bit of bad luck getting it completed. My wife turned her ankle and we postponed a couple days and then I got the bug and they moved the tour a second time. I am so happy Aris showed up and gave us one heck of a cruise.He was truly knowledgeable and always there when we needed him. Without him sensing our needs, I don’t think I could have completed the tour. I thought the Acropolis would be our favorite spot, but the changing of the guard was mine. We were picked up by Ari’s right on time. He welcomed us into his van and made us feel right at home. Aris took us to see several sights around Athens and was very knowledgeable and funny. This was the most amazing experience. We had a wonderful time and learned so much. Aris was so knowledgeable, prompt, efficient, accommodating, fun and packed our tour with so much information. It was evident how much he loves his country and city…so refreshing. We enjoyed an authentic lunch at an out of the tourist area lunch spot-family owned and operated.
