Athens Electric Bike Tour

We read an article about Athens in a Transavia magazine that featured a piece on We-Bikes—enthusiastically recommended by Niek. What a great decision! It was our favorite morning of our entire trip to Athens. Niek, you’re the best! We learned a lot, saw a great deal, and had plenty of laughs. Linda and Everien

By far the best part of our trip to Athens! “Ste” was so helpful, patient, and friendly. He made the 3-hour tour very enjoyable … even in the rain 😳. The sites he took us too really helped us to see not only the top tourist attractions, but also gave us a feel for the real Athens that most people don’t get to experience. We would recommend this tour for the whole family - even the kids!

This was an enjoyable way to explore Athens. The electric bikes were easy to use and helmets were available. George was our tour guide and he was entertaining and informative. We saw the Acropolis and other historical sites from various angles and also the changing of the guards from a good vantage point. The bikes enabled us to cover a wide area over a few hours. George also gave us tips on where to eat and we had a wonderful meal at Jimmy’s Fish in Piraeus as a result of George’s recommendation. Overall, a fun activity and good for getting your bearings at the start of your trip in Athens.

Our tour with Rhea was one of our favorite parts of our trip! We booked this for our first night of our honeymoon in Athens and it gave us a great introduction to the history of the city and made us feel more familiar with the city for the next couple days. We loved the electric bikes! So easy to ride. Felt like an adventure and able to cover so much ground quickly. Rhea was a great guide, very knowledgeable and personable. 10/10 would recommend

It's a great way to see and learn history of Athens! Riding ebikes is fun and you can cover more ground than by walking.

I did it the last day of our time in Athens and it was a great culminating activity. It would also be great as an introduction to Athens!

We had an early morning private e-bike tour and absolutely loved it. Our guide Rhea was fantastic, absolutely first class. She was very helpful, explaining the bikes and making sure we were comfortable and had chilled bottles of water in holders on each bike. We spent 2.5 hours cycling around many of the major sites around the city. We would stop in various places and she would regale us of the stories and history of each place in a fun and interesting way. We had some great discussions around the mythology and where archeological discoveries have added to our understanding of how the Ancient Greeks lived. She also connected this to more recent history of Greece and wider world and European history which was fascinating for both us and our teenage son. The pace was perfect as it was very hot but we never felt rushed or overheated! She found shady spots to park up and see the various sites. Highlights were the view of the Acropolis and Athens from Filopappou Hill, cycling around Plaka and the site of the Agora, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Olympic Stadium, the changing of the guard at the presidential palace to name a few. We saw so much and I would recommend this to everyone. It was definitely worth paying extra for the private group tour as we could really get the most out of Rhea’s knowledge and we saw so much, plus it was much easier navigating the busier spots with a smaller group. We also loved the treat of a snack stop for fresh Greek yogurt with honey and nuts which was a lovely surprise and absolute delicious. Thanks so much Rhea!

This was so fun! George was a great navigator and tour guide. He gave us lots of histrorical information while answering all of our touristy questions. We had a wonderful morning with him! Highly recommend booking this fun tour. The E-bikes just make everything so much more enjoyable, you don't even feel like your exerting any extra energy!

The e bike tour with Ste was fantastic We had a great time with our family of 5 He told us so much historical information that made the experience even better. We covered a lot of distance and were able to visit many sites. It was a great way to see Athens and was a lot of fun

Great way to see Athens when you are short on time. Took about half a day and the guide was very knowledgeable!

This trip was completely worth every cent, and we *highly* recommend it. We went on our first evening in Athens, after spending the afternoon in the Acropolis museum. George was a terrific guide, with a great level of attention to the group, and many stories and much information. We learned things that we would never have learned in a guidebook, and had an almost private viewing of the changing of the guard. The bikes were in good condition and ran well, and for a first-timer on an e-bike, really easy to learn. This morning at the Acropolis, we were amazed to see just how much of the area we had covered. I would have complained loudly if we were on regular bikes. Long story short (TL;dr) take this tour to get a great quick overview of a little modern and a little ancient Athens!

Our family of five had an incredible experience with our tour guide, Ste. He was well educated about the sites that he showed us. Taking a tour of Athens by electric bike allowed us to get around easily. Ste also made recommendations on restaurants that did not disappoint.

This was a wonderful experience. The bikes were in great condition. The tour was lovely and went all around the Acropolis so we saw some pretty amazing sites. Neek, our guide, was funny, informative, and just an all around nice guy. The tour took approximately 2.5 hours and we had plenty of stops to get off the bikes and walk around too. He even timed the tour so we were able to see the changing of the guard up close and personal. We felt safe riding through the city. Highly recommend, especially if you are only in the city for a short time.

Niek is the B. E. S. T. tour guide! He’s full of fascinating knowledge and history, but also humor. I felt right at home as well as super safe with Niek leading the way. Though modest … he also takes rad pictures! And of course he takes you through the most picturesque spots to take them!

George was great! We got lucky and had a small group. We were able to hit all the highlights of Greece, including changing of the guard at the Presidents palace! George had great suggestions for dinner as well, great off the beaten path!

This was an awesome tour. First we walked around the Sunday market then headed over for our ebike tour. Ste was an amazing, friendly and knowledgeable host. We learned so much about the city and what we wanted to visit while in Athens. He suggested a few restaurants and things to do as well, which we took to heart layer in the trip. This was well worth the money. I highly recommend 10 out of 10!

George the Great was wonderful. We booked a small group tour but it was just me and my fiancé and George was wonderful to spend time with, great guide, informative, charming and kind. Pedal assisted bicycles are the only way to tour even if you think you are a strong cyclist.

We took an ebike tour Monday March 30 2026 with (STE)RGIKOS and if we could give him a 15 out of 10 we would. His experience, knowledge and personality were awesome. It was our first full day in athens. The following day we went on a cruise and returned to Athens for 2 days. Everything he recommended during the tour we did when we returned to Athens. His restaurant recommendations and must do tourist hot spots were spot on. The ebikes were awesome, we are in our 60's and easy to ride, we saw the changing of the guards, olympic stdium, Acropolis and a ton of key historic sites in athens on the bike tour. His knowledge of greek history and navigating the crowded streets safely was perfect. When we come back to Athens we will defintely takje another ebike tour with STE - rare greek name. The best ebike tour ever and weve taken alot. Thank you STE and have a great summer:)

We had a great experience with the bike tour. We did not know Athens before and found ourselves in a wonderful experience throughout Athens City with our guide Nick. A Dutchman who fell in love with Athens. We saw the historical parts naturally, with a fantastic explanation, however we also learned a lot of other things about the city.
