Athens By Night Tour In Spanish: The Illuminated City

Juan Pedro was very savvy and kind with our small group. I truly enjoyed this tour out to see Athens’ life during the evening. He’s a great guide!!

Tour guide never showed and didn’t communicate anything after multiple reach outs and calls very disappointing

We had an unforgettable Athens by Night tour with Kyriaki as our guide. She was warm, knowledgeable, and brought the city’s history to life with fascinating stories that blended ancient myths and modern culture. Her pacing was perfect—balancing lively nightlife spots with quiet, atmospheric corners of the city that we’d never have found on our own. The illuminated Acropolis was breathtaking, but Kyriaki’s passion for her city made the whole experience truly special. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to see Athens’ magic after dark.

Based on what I read, the tour was in English, but a Spanish- speaking assistant would be present. I arrived to find a family of 3 from Italy & 1 guide, no assistant. I wish Viator would've notified me about this before the tour. The guide, Edmundo, was a kind man & an interesting enthusiastic story teller, but every statement or segment was followed by a pause as it was translated into Italian by the guide or the family's son. This took time & I would've seen more & learned more without the translation time. The young family was nice & the son who translated was impressive. Still, though, I hoped to see a view of Athens like that in the photo-- no such luck. This was my 2nd full day in Athens & 2nd tour. I saw some fascinating historical sites and parts of the city I had not seen. I was going to give the tour 3 stars, but it was nice to walk with others, learn & see different things.

Athens in the evening tour was delightful. Our English speaking tour guide, Sissy, was knowledgeable and gave us lots of history, as well as hitting a lot of interesting neighborhoods. We wandered back the next day and it was noisy and crowded. The night time walking tour was relaxing in comparison.

Me and my wife were in Athens for a football match between Greece and Scotland, and had a few days in the city. Athens is a city that we have wanted to see for years, but just never had the time (our only visit to Greece had been to Rhodes), and after arriving at lunch time, there was not much in the way of tours for that day, but I felt this one would give us a great introduction to the city. No matter what time of the day you arrive, this should be your first tour in the city, as it is a great introduction to the city and really helps you get your bearings for navigating the city (we did other tours and none really stepped on the same ground as this tour, so perfect for not repeating anything). Unfortunately I have forgot our guides name, but she was a excellent guide who really gave us a great introduction to the city. A lot of ground is covered, and yet you do not stray to far from Plaka and Monastiraki, but really does help you for getting yourself around the city after that (we never got lost at any point during our stay). Some truly fantastic sites to see, and even more stunning at night. All in all, you really should make sure this is the first tour you do in Athens.

The guide knew the city and parts of the city that an average traveler would never experience. The guide was punctual, a great listener and very accommodating.

George our tour guide was so friendly and enthusiastic about the history of Athens. You could tell he loves his job. He also pointed out all the best restaurants to try and what type of food to order at each place. He took us to see the monuments but also in lesser known places to really get a feel for the city! We had a great time with George! He was the best!

Maybe they should think about having people who really love what they do, instead of Maria who seems angry. Maybe they should think about rolling with unexpected changes when there’s a protest in town and they can’t get through to pick you up at your hotel. Maybe they shouldn’t call it hotel pick up when they can’t get you at your own hotel. Maybe the taverna/restaurant should space you out so that you’re not having your elbow and your next neighbors food. Maybe they should apologize when they did not honor your request for vegetarian option. It’s Greece! Cold, bland moussaka is not a vegetarian option. Stouffers woujd be better. Maybe they should not treat you like cattle that have come to the trough for their food, and maybe smile or speak to you when they plop an appetizer on your plate. Maybe they shouldn’t have young pretty girls just shaking and calling it traditional Greek dance. Maybe they should refund your money when things don’t go the way they told you they would go. I purchased this as a surprise for my wife and could not be more disappointed. We walked home instead of going with the group, it was the only thing that went awry on our entire three weeks in Greece. Shame on them and on dolphin Hellas for not refunding even part of our money when they couldn’t deliver the tour and not on time.

Fascinated and in love with Greece I loved the acropolis... the oracle of Delphi... Meteora! The islands of the Aegean Sea... Dream

We held the Niki tour with my teenage granddaughters in April. The hotel in Athens was right located in a very interesting neighborhood. The hotel in Meteora very nice, pity that the dinner was mediocre. The visits to Delphi and Meteora very good. I want to express my displeasure with the guide Carlos Kolitsis in charge of the Athens night tour walking. We were 7 people and just started the tour was traveling at a speed that was impossible for me to follow. When I asked him to slow down he replied in a very unpleasant way that he had an itinerary to fulfill and that if I had any disabilities I had to hire a private tour. Clearly we were coming back from Delphi and Me eteora where I had no difficulty in keeping up with the pace of the excursion. A few blocks we left the tour. It is regrettable that an ill-disposed and ill-fated guide calls into question the quality of service of the Greek agency. Anyway thank you for an unforgettable trip

We contracted a 10-day package with Greca (Eros). Beautiful excursion, although it was my second time in Athens, the guide made us discover places I had passed without seeing, revealing details that incredibly enriched my passage through this magical city, and all under the moonlight. A wonderful excursion that is better not to miss.

Very good Service and assistance from all the staff throughout the Medusa Package, always attentive and helpful from the planning and execution of the trip, in everything they fully complied with what was offered, reservations in hotels, transfers and activities, we only have to thank the Service provided by Greca Travel.

The tour included dinner in a typical restaurant with show and music, however we were taken to dinner after the tour almost at midnight when they were about to close the restaurant and it was practically empty. The guide was very empathetic and had knowledge of Greek culture and history.

Excellent night walk that allows a very complete panorama of the city. Very friendly the girl who guided us, and overall, excellent experience with all the packages and excursions of Greca that we took. We are very happy to have chosen them, as your organization and suppliers are up to scratch. Recommended!

I did the excursion on a hot day and yet we weren't tired or anything. The attention and what the guide showed us was wonderful and invited us to know Athens from another perspective. Highly recommended from the moment of booking!
