This private tour was seemless and less than the price of tours provided by the Cruiseline. Kostas, our guide, was amazing. Informative and we loved that he incorporated his real life stories. We saw all of the main sights and learned about the history of each and Athens in general. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great experience and the people were so nice here.
Great tour and tour guide. I highly recommend this tour. Costas was very knowledgeable and added a lot of value to the tour.
Views and photos were amazing…outstanding day out by bus….the service was excellent ….as soon as possible we will do it again ….keep going guys….
It was an okay tour. Athens is covered in graffiti and traffic getting to the Acropolis, Parthenon area takes up most of your time. It is quite a few steps to the lower Acropolis and Parthenon viewing area and rocky viewing area overlooking the city. if you want to see Acropolis up close you have to buy tickets and take more steps way up to see them both. We were dropped off in Monastriki shopping area for an hour. Same stuff in every shop. Had a bit of a driving tour around Piraeus port where all the yachts are. We did stop at the university and old library which are stunning buildings.
I arranged a private tour of Athens for my cruise group and it was amazing! Fotis and his driver did an excellent job taking us to the highlights of Athens! We saw the Acropolis (we did not want to go inside). We saw an olympic stadium. We saw the guards watching over the tomb of the unknown soldier (we missed the changing of the guards). We had free time in which to eat and shop. I had a special request to stop at McDonald's for fried apple pies and Fotis delivered. It was a wonderful 5 hours - we thoroughly enjoyed it!
Avoid this hop on hop off bus at all cost. They make you get off the bus and do not take you back to the cruise port. They take you around the city and don’t follow the route, then they take you to the acropolis way. You have to stand on a very long line for over an hour to wait for the bus to take you back to the cruise port. The buses should go directly to the cruise port. We should not have to get on and off and wait for over an hour.
Terrible experience!! It’s cheap but it’s not worth it …. Just a few bus and the tour to the piraeus and glyfada it’s not interesting
The half day city tour of Athens and Piraeus was an absolute delight from start to finish. Our knowledgeable guide, Kostas, led us through the city's historic streets, regaling us with fascinating insights about each landmark we visited. The tour's well-planned itinerary seamlessly blended must-see sights with hidden gems, giving us a well-rounded perspective of the city's culture and history. From the iconic landmarks to charming local eateries, every stop on the tour left a lasting impression. The comfortable transportation and impeccable organization made the experience all the more enjoyable. Kostas was simply amazing. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore and learn about this beautiful city.
Went on a private tour a family of four around Athens with Carlos, we were out for 5 hours had amazing time. Carlos was really friendly and was very knowledgeable about Athens. Great really would recommend.
Most excellent way to quickly get an overview of all the sites that Athens has on offer… Kostas was extremely knowledgeable and we were inspired to come back to Athens and stay for longer to fully appreciate everything the city encompasses. Jorn
The trip was one of our best. We were a family with 8 members and were really comfortable in the van with AC. The driver was really informative and helpful. He was always on time. We shared a couple of jokes as well which made the trip more interesting. Athens was so nice, all of it. Really recommend this tour. 5*
After experiencing several phenomenal tours around Europe, we found this tour to be rather lackluster. We didn't have a tour guide with our driver. While our driver was so very nice, he was a bit of a mumbler so my husband sat in the front seat to send the messages back to our family. We didn't have a concrete itinerary and it seemed he wasn't sure where to take us - we ended an hour early because it wasn't very full of excitement - in all honesty though that was fine for our family - we were on Day 17 and our final day before flying home.
Excellent guide--Marinos--who took us all over Athens. He did a city tour in addition to the historical monuments. Had champagne for us at the end of the trip. Flexible on what we wanted to see, was waiting for us as we got off the ship. Only negative--there was NO tour of the Acropolis, we were totally on our own, with no map, no guide, no information.
Fantastic private tour ! Best way to see Athens with a large group in an abbreviated amount of time.
You get a driver not a tour guide. Driver could have saved us money by suggesting we buy the combo ticket with access to 6 sites but he did not say anything. Driver was professional and took us to locations we wanted to visit.
Very good prices. Staff is very friendly and the bus is very clean and new. the Tour goes through the most common Athens sights, so you dont miss anything.
The guide Giorgos was very professional and very helpful. We had a great time with him. He give us a excellent service. Thanks a lot.
Best way to tour Athens when you're tight on time. Piraeus was one of our cruise port and we decided to go with a private driver instead of Hop on Hop off bus. Turns out to be a great decision! Pavlos was our driver and he is a great tour guide himself!!! He is very friendly and knowledgeable. We felt very comfortable and safe with his driving. Pavlos bought our entire family water, and waited for us while we tour the Arcopolis on a 38 degree Celius day. We appreciate Pavlos very much and would highly recommend him.
My family and I had a private tour of parts of Athens, and Paulos was our driver. He was very easy going, friendly, companionate, and personable. He went above and beyond to give us an experience of a lifetime and were very appreciative of him for that. I plan to visit again, and only Paulos can be our driver, he’s stuck with us :-). We didn’t feel rushed at all during the tour, and his insight was very helpful! All in all we had a wonderful time, and Paulos helped make it a great experience for us. Definitely ask for Paulos to be you’re driver and you won’t be disappointed. Thank you again Paulos, you’re amazing, and we hope to see you soon.
Being in Athens for just over a day, I wanted to see as much as possible and decided the best way to do that was get a driver for a Private Tour. I was so lucky to get Pavlos as my driver, he was just great and I would recommend him to anyone. He was so knowledgeable about everywhere we went and would stop for photos whenever I wanted. I wouldn't have been able to see a quarter of what I did and had the most awesome time thanks to Pavlos.
I was in Athens and I went around with blue bus and I was very happy with this company and especially the Service also Les employees and especially Monsieur Fouad (Moroccan)
The Athens tour was fine so far, although there were also waiting times here, there were unused buses of the company at the stops. The audio guides are unfortunately worn out, some with poor quality, some with total failure. The biggest problem, however, was the return trip to the cruise port, we had to wait 75 before a bus was available. The staff in Acropolis on site were in no way helpful in intervening. Fortunately, we still had enough reserve planned! Therefore, this tour is strongly discouraged. With the red buses, this worked out more smoothly.
Very nice visit. The guide was very open and available. The walk lasted much longer than expected so that we could go to Pyrenees. Thanks.
