Athens Airport To Athens Hotels Luxury Private Transfer Service

Poor experience with Yomadic. Alex, their driver, picked us up on time, but as we approached our hotel in the old quarter of Athens, very near to the Acropolis Museum, he asked whether we would mind being dropped off "about 30 metres" from the hotel. He claimed that the lanes there are so narrow and would usually be made even narrower by illegally parked vehicles, and his wide Mercedes could get stuck, thus we could end up being delayed for an hour. Relying on his advice, we agreed. We had to roll our heavy suitcases and cabin bag on the very rough tarmac/stone road/pavement. Turns out he lied. 1) Google Maps had the distance at 110 metres, not 30. 2) Hotel staff says not true. All kinds of cars and vans can pass and repass in front. Over the next 4 days, we saw all kinds of vehicles, large and small pass by. 3) We had a private tour arranged with Yomadic 3 days later, and their own large van they used had no issues picking up and dropping us off. (This will be the subject of another review). I complained to Andreas and all he could say was that the driver had been taken off their list. He did not wish to take responsibility for this shortfall in their service.

Our driver Nicholas was very friendly and courteous. He got straight our destination in a timely manner.

transportation was seamless, our driver met us in the arrival hall and even helped others in our group context another transportation company since they booked the wrong date. music playlist was great as well! will definitely book again.

On time considering or flight was 3 hours late taking off. Very pleasant & had bottles of water waiting for us. Helped with bags as well. Would highly recommend,

Costa was very knowledgeable and personable. He got us to our destination safely, all be it drivers in Athens scared me. My only suggestion would be to make it clear on how to communicate via phone, chat, email. I did not know what the "What's Up" App was and if our driver had not called my cell number I provided we may have missed each other.

We had to wait a bit (reason for 4 star) as our plane was early and the original driver did not know of this early arrival. It is advertised that they keep watch on arrival times. He found someone closer than he was and got him there in a reasonable amount of time. Our driver was awesome. He did not speak much English but had a translation app and we had alot of fun with that. It was a great ride.

The driver was very friendly and was waiting on us when we arrived. He even waited on our delayed flight without question. Highly recommend and this saved us time in the taxi line.

Easy way to be assured pick on time. Driver called while we were getting our luggage. He told us exactly where to go and when we got to the pick up spot - we called him and within 3 minutes he was there. He also had cold bottled water for us. He took a short cut to avoid city rush hour traffic and we arrived at our hotel quickly.

I travel around the World for pleasure and curiosity. I usually hire a professional driver for transport from airport to hotel and vice versa in advance in large cities like London, Tokyo, New York City, Mexico City, New Orleans and such. Normally I have a well dressed person holding a sign with my name on it inside the airport, who then takes my luggage to a luxury vehicle and drives me to my destination. Not this time. In Athens Greece, I was told to stand outside in the heat. The driver eventually found me. He was well dressed and handsome, but then the real experience began. He ushered us into a common yellow taxi, drove aggressively and dangerously into Athens. He was loud, bossy and his demeanor was not professional. He scared us with his high speed chase into town, tailgating the cars ahead and honking to get them to move out of his was. This was not luxury, but more of a nightmare. With sound mind, I cannot truthfully recommend this company to anyone. I use Viator extensively around the World for my adventures, and they let me down this time. They need to revisit this particular company to see if they deserve to be on their platform.

Alex was a great driver, met us on time, communicated clearly for pickup and drop-off at the hotel. He even stopped to get us cold waters on the way from the airport. I would definitely use this service again when in Athens.

I received a text from my original driver introducing himself and later got another text stating he would not be picking us up. I did not get an update until hrs later after my flight landed.

Driver was great! We came into the airport with his sign and then brought us out of the airport and helped with luggage. He was knowledgeable of what to do ect in town. Got us to the hotel safely and recommended a really good lunch place right by the hotel!

We had a 30 minute delay arriving in Athens which I communicated with the company. They were very understanding. We were nervous when the driver was not there when we arrived at the pickup point. The second time my husband walked the line of drivers waiting for their guests, he walked through the door. He was very kind and assisted us with our luggage. The car was very clean and he had water for us in the car.

This was so nice to have a driver right there after a very long flight to a country I've never been to. He made me feel very comfortable, answered my many questions and provided me with water and a map . He even marked the map to make it easy to see as much as possible. He also proved safety information which I was grateful for a single woman

Driver was there waiting as we exited baggage claim. Drive from airport to our hotel was comfortable and the vehicle clean and well maintained. Our driver was informative, describing the areas we were passing through and suggesting things we should see and do during our stay in Athens. He even stopped and drew on a map his suggestions on where to go and, more importantly, where NOT to go. Overall a very good experience.

The drive was waiting for us when we came out of baggage claim at the airport. He helped us with our luggage and delivered us to our hotel with any problems. We felt safe and comfortable as he navigated through local traffic.

I have already used Yomadic several times for taxi transfers to and from the airport. The service is always impeccable. Ordering online is very easy. Everything is well organized. Communication with the respective driver works perfectly via Whatsapp. You always have a direct contact person. The drivers are always punctual, extremely friendly and the cars are very well maintained. I am in Athens several times a year and still enjoy being driven by Yomadic.

Met us on arrival outside baggage claim promptly, as promised. We had a short walk to a clean van parked outside nearby. Angelos was a friendly driver who gave us a few tips about Athens & delivered us safely to our hotel doorstep without a fuss. We were also able to book our return trip to the airport with the same company on request.

We waited at the airport location for awhile before our driver showed up. It was very hectic. We waited on the curb for about 20 minutes while he got the car. Not the Mercedes sedan and bottled water they said we would get but a regular taxi, no water and poor ac. The driver was on his cell phone for 90% of the drive to Athens city center. It would have been less expensive to just get a taxi at the airport, which were plentiful upon our arrival.

The food, sites and meeting new people ! Seeing Acropolis was hot and exhausting but memorable! Would like to come back and visit other Greek islands.

Our driver communicated with us and was on time. The one compliant was that he used the what’s up app, which luckily I had from a previous trip. I never use that app but had it.

Car and driver "no show" . We arrived at the airport on time perused the arrival hall and location for over an hour. Where o' where is the car and driver? there was no way to contact the operator or company to inquire. We've used Viator on several previous occasions for travel tours with no problems. However, on this occasion for airport transportation, the service was well below expectations, in fact non-existent.

The driver was very late showing up at the airport, which caused a lot of anxiety. The driver seemed like a nice young man and a good driver, however, I would never sign up for the service again or recommended to anybody, especially for the price.

Chris took the time to show us around the neighborhood and point out the best places for pastry. He is knowledgeable as well as personable. I would request him if we were ever in Athens again
