Panos was an excellent driver, wealth of information and planned everything perfectly! We got to see the changing of the guards which was amazing!! Highly recommend this tour with Panos!!

Itinerary
We will begin with a drive along the coast. On the way you will view of some Greek seaside villages and the island of Salamis (where the historical naval battle took place between the Athenians and the Persians). Our first stop the Corinth Canal. Opened in 1892 separating the Peloponnese peninsula from the rest of Greece and connecting the Saronic Gulf to the Corinthian Sea. You will have time to walk across on a pedestrian bridge to admire the canal closer, (if you’re game) on some days bungee jumping is an option.
Ancient Corinth, located at the foot of the hill includes the Roman Agora of Corinth, the temple of God Apollo and a small museum. Apart from its archaeological and historical interest Ancient Corinth is also one of the most popular religious destinations in Greece as this was where the Apostle Paul preached Christianity, was judged by the tribunal in the Agora and established the best organized Christian church of that period.
The temple of Apollo at Corinth is one of the earliest Doric temples in the Peloponnese and the Greek mainland. Built around 560 B.C.E., of local monolithic limestone on top of an imposing, rocky hill to the north of Acrocorinth, the Archaic temple was an emblem for the Greek city of Corinth, reflecting its growth and prosperity.
Ancient Corinth is dominated by the hill of Acrocorinth, the oldest and largest castle in southern Greece. We will stop here for some incredible photos.
We will drive back to Athens.

Our driver and guide were great! Our family and I really enjoyed our trip to Corinth and visiting the place that Paul visited the Corinthian Church.
Great time and professional service. Thank you, Panos.
Panos and Dimitrios lead us on this tour . Dimitrios knowledge brought history to life We learned so much by listening to both of them. Panos was such a great driver very easy just to relax and enjoy the scenery
The history, views and experience were worth the trip! Terry was a wonderful guide. He shared so much with us. From the jaw dropping depths of the canal, the ancient ruins of the town? Exploring the remains of the castle on the hill and ending at St Paul’s workshop - now chapel, we were immersed into Corinth. So worth the time outside of Athens!
Terry was a wonderful guide. We learned so much history about Greece while we drove. He was so friendly and knowledgeable.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He went above and beyond to make our time memorable. We enjoyed seeing the Corinth canals as well as Ancient Corinth. On the way back to our hotel, he even did a drive by of the Olympic stadium for us. He relayed just the right amount of information, lots of fun facts but did not overdo it.
Andres was so kind, knowledgeable, excellent driver and went out of his to go ensure we had a tailor made experience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Ancient Corinth was really neat and the museum was also nice. Our guide, Panos took us also to the castle which was something we were interested in and the highlight of my teens/adult kids’ tour! It was lovely to see where the apostle Paul started the first church in Corinthians and absorb the history of it all! Panos was informative of the highlights of our drive and the history. We also enjoyed the Corinth Canal which was remarkable. We recommend this tour!!
This is a must see journey. We did it before the full day in Athens. It was a perfect pre Athens. Our guide was Chris. He was informative and friendly. He was a perfect guide. We were never rushed to see ever site. If we wanted an extra few minutes for grabbing a sandwich, no problem! The agenda was great. We learned so much on the history and about the people in Greece. Thank you Chris!
Terry was a fantastic driver/guide for our half day in Corinth. He met us as we departed the cruise ship and whisked us away to our first stop at the Corinth Canal and explained the history behind it. From there we had perfect timing between larger tour groups and explored a mostly empty Ancient Corinth and Archaeological museum. But what took our breath away was the view from the Acrocorinth. Definitely wish we had more time to explore! We finished out the half day with a nice lunch in new Corinth before heading to the airport. Would highly recommend this tour to all.
We visited the island of Salamis on this tour where we saw the Corinth Canal. It was about an hour ride to get to the canal, which is located in the Olive growing area. We elected to add an Olive oil and wine tasting which was a great add to this tour. Our driver was outstanding, treating us like VIP’s all day. He suggested we depart at 7am given we added a couple of stops (Oil and Wine tasting) and when we needed to be back at the port. Overall a great day with a great driver!
Enjoyed the backstory on development of Corinth canal & the sight if it did not disappoint. Continued on to Apollo’s Temple with amazing artifacts. Final stop was Corinth Acropolis which could be used as set for a medieval movie. Our driver Babis was very pleasant & knowledgeable on ancient history related to the sites. Highly recommend!
Great tour Exploring Corinth with Sunday taking us to all the sights and customizing the tour based on our interests. He shared the history, the struggles and the passions of Greece with us. Fantastic tour!
I’d definitely recommend this company, they gave me a great deal. They showed up on time and the tour guide was very knowledgeable!! I’ll be using them again when we return!!
The entire day was very memorable. Our tour guide, Elias was pleasant, knowledgeable and accomadating. The small town of Corinth provides a contrast to the busyness of Athens and fills in some history about the Apostle Paul. A stop at a multi-generational artisan pottery shop is amazing for anyone that appreciates hand crafted museum quality unique pieces of art and metal work. The shop is short ride from Apollo's temple and the museum. It happens to be named Temple of Apollo. A stop at the Canal provided a pretty backdrop for a selfie photo. For those that like a challenge, the hike up through Acrocorinrh may be for you, but we recommend wearing hiking shoes. It can be slippery. Even if you don't reach the peak, our wish is that you enjoy the views no matter how far you are able or choose to travel along the rocky path.
Antony was our tour guide. His extensive knowledge of Ancient Greece and especially Athens was just amazing. Antony provided us with the best tour service and took my friends and I to all the most see sites in Athens. I highly recommend Antony for your visit to Athens Greece! Thank you Antony! Eluid and friends
Being able to see and walk in the paths of the Apostle Paul. Was a little challenging for people with limited mobility.
Tour guide was good but all felt a bit rushed for time - perhaps because it was a bank holiday weekend
Dem picked us up in an immaculate car & drove us to ancient Korinth. The ride was wonderful and Dem was very informative about the history of Greece, Athens, and Korinth. In addition, he fielded all sorts of questions we had about general life in Greece & was an excellent sport. Highly recommend!
Took half day private tour to Ancient Corinth. Driver Alexander was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and welcoming. Stopped at canal, Temple of Apollo and drove up to fortification. Lovely drive along coast. Fun to venture out of Athens.
Amazing trip with engineering (canal), history (ancient Corinth, Acropolis of Corinth), and natural beauty. Our guide Alexander was thorough, and kept kiddos fully engaged.
This was one of our favorite days during our trip! The area was fascinating and memorable. We loved hiking up the paths and exploring the castle, and the beautiful views at every turn. Our guide, Petros, was knowledgable, helpful, considerate, prompt, and made our drive time both informative and engaging. We appreciated his stories and insights into local history and culture, and his recommendations for what to see, do, and taste during our remaining days in Greece. We highly recommend this half day trip!
We toured with Aristotle who was the most fabulous tour guide! So personal and knowledgeable! His English was excellent. The topics were just what we wanted to learn about! He was very kind and caring! We any of the 10 people in my group ever come back to Athens/ Corith area we will request him!
Aristotelis did a fantastic job -- he's very polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Athens and its history. After having this private tour, I was inspired to do more private tours -- both for this trip and future trips. Great experience 10/10!
The weather limited our experience in Corinth. It was pouring rain. The trip was a long drive from Athens and there was little to do during the drive.
Lovely trip out of Athens seeing beautiful coast and countryside. Our tour guide, Nasos was knowledgeable and friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He gave interesting insight and history to all our stops. Great way to spend our last day in the country!
Petros was an amazing guide! He gave us the history of the sights along the way and was extremely engaging and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our lunch with him in a small village and since we had spare time we walked along the seaside and learned more Greek history and culture. We will definitely ask for Petros again when we return to Greece and we know we have met a new friend!
Wonderful tour and we’ll organized. Alexander was very friendly and flexible. The trip to ancient Corinth and the Acrocorinth was beautiful and not busy at all which made our visit even better. I highly recommend!
The entire trip was very enjoyable! All of the sites were amazing to see and our guide, Evangelise (sp?) made the trip very special. He had great information on all of the stops and answered all of our many questions with patience and grace! We were especially interested in Biblical history and he knew a lot about these things also. I highly recommend this trip, plus we had a beautiful day, ask for Evangelise, you will not regret it!
The half day tour was a great outing to/from Athens for a change of pace from urban sightseeing. The half-day was structured well — we saw several sites and weren’t exhausted at the end of it. Well-planned breaks for snacks and bathrooms. Recommend hat + comfortable walking shoes…especially for the Acrocorinth. Alexandros was a very professional driver and kept us safe on Greek roads. Ioanna was a wonderful guide with a great combination of expertise, historical context, and humor. They were gracious to answer all of our questions (about history or otherwise) and very friendly. We did not feel like tourists…more like a road trip with new friends!
Dem was a great guide. Very knowledgeable about history and battles and significant events. I learned a lot and will take his suggestion to come back to Greece and explore other historical sites. Brilliant day trip! Thanks!
George picked us up promptly at 9 AM at our hotel (we asked for 9 instead of 8 since we had just arrived the day before and needed an extra hour of sleep!). We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide than George. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area informing us on dates ,etc. in Greek history as we rode to Corinth. We told him we were particularly interested in the Biblical history of Corinth and he obliged us and told us many interesting things and showed us places where the apostle Paul was during his time in Corinth. He also stopped by for us to see the Corinth Canal. This was an excellent tour and I highly recommend you ask for George to be your tour guide.
I really enjoyed this tour. We had a great guide and they took care of everything. We stopped by the canal which was a nice plus. Wandering the streets of ancient Corinth was amazing; I had a gap between the groups of tourists which allowed there to be no one there for several minutes - I took in the silence as I imagined the Paul the Apostle there walking the streets of the Agora and speaking at the Beme.
We love our short visit to Corinth. Unforgettable. Mike was very helpful and true to us. Thank you so much.
Our family of 5 booked a trip to Ancient Corinth from Athens with less than 24 hours notice. We were accommodated in a comfortable Mercedes-Benz van, which picked us up at our hotel at 9:00am rather than 8:00 as we requested, and provided with bottled water. Our driver, Panos, was very pleasant and friendly, easy to talk to, and willing to let us control the schedule for the day. We stopped at the canal, toured the ruins of Ancient Corinth (very impressive and enjoyable!), and headed to the Acrocorinth. My family wanted to hike to the very top of the citadel and Panos waited patiently while they ascended the summit and took advantage of the amazing views. Even though we were running overtime, he made sure we got lunch at a pleasant restaurant before concluding our tour. He also informed us about a 1500 year old olive tree across the street from our hotel. We couldn’t be happier with the experience! One suggestion: if you have students with you, bring your student ID, as this reduces the cost of admission into Ancient Corinth.
My wife and I just finished an awesome time with a very kind and informative driver named George. We seriously cannot recommend him enough. He showed up promptly at 8 AM and the whole way to Corinth, he was full of interesting tidbits of information. We told him we were Christians and how important the apostle Paul was to us, and he was sure to let us see the Corinthian churches. I'm not sure this was even part of the tour, but it was a very kind gesture. We were immensely blessed by it. Then we got to go to Ancient Corinth and AcroCorinth. I was afraid we would have to hurry up to stay on schedule, but he was very adamant in telling us to take our time. We also did the Isthmus, which was really neat! If you want a tour guide to walk with you through the museum, I suppose this isn't the trip for you inasmuch as the driver can't enter as a guide. However, we felt we lost nothing by not having one inside, especially considering all that George told us during the drive. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you're fortunate enough to get George as your guide.
My wife and I booked a tour with Olive Sea and Alex was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and answered any question we had no matter what it was. He went above and beyond to ensure my wife and I had the most memorable time we could have possibly had. Overall, we are very happy about our tour and would highly recommend Alex as a guide.
