Evee was wonderful. Very knowledgeable. Our guide led us on a gradual, unhurried ascent to the top of the Acropolis, allowing time for breaks and interesting commentary along the way.

Our tour guide Lucas was very knowledgeable, personable and helped us understand the stories and history of the Acropolis. He took time to make sure everyone on the group was comfortable and checked in often to ensure our comfort. The view and sites were incredible. Highly recommend this tour.
Evie was a wonderful guide. She worked instinctively at the right pace for all participants being careful to ensure we all understood what she was saying. It was very busy but she gave us a great deal of interesting information without endless repetition. Going at 5 pm meant we could complete the tour as the sun created a golden hlow. We also saw the soldiers take down the flag.
Our guide Sofia was great and gave us ab awesome private tour of the Acropolis and surrounding sites ! Great job Sofia !
We had an amazing day with Lucas! We were a family of five with two children, and he kept everyone engaged from beginning to end. His knowledge was outstanding, and we learned so much throughout the tour. Lucas was friendly, professional, and made the experience both fun and informative. We’ve done many tours over the years, and this was by far one of our favorites—especially for our children, who were interested and entertained the entire time. If you’re looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about what he does, we highly recommend Lucas. Thank you for a wonderful experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Booked the small group guided tour for our family of 4 and so glad we did. We feel blessed to have gotten a guide as knowledgeable, funny, energetic, and passionate about Greek history as Lucas. Lucas made the tour relatable to our teenage daughters as we stopped at various locations. The pace of the tour was perfect, ao happy we booked a small group guided tour.
Doing it in the morning is the best idea. Definitely need good walking shoes. Amazing agent architecture, coffee care for fair amount of people. This is still a semi private tour, but the tour guide had to juggle around other two groups as well. Just the way it is July in Athens!
Our tour guide Sophia was AMAZING. Our small group tour was only our family. She was very knowledgeable about the Acropolis, history of Greece, and language/word meaning. She was personable and knew all the shady spots to stop and talk. Also a great photographer...so we got awesome pictures. A must do in Athens!
This was a very interesting and memorable tour. Sophia was our guide and she did a great job. She was most informative, put us in the best positions to get good pictures, and took advantage of the shady spots which resulted in a pleasant experience for our small group.
A very good information about the site and its significance. Sophia was very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions.
Lucas was an amazing guide! Not only is he educated on the history of all things related to Athens & Greece, but he is also a teacher which showed in the way he interacted with our teen and preteen. We had a great morning learning and exploring with him. I highly recommend this tour and Lucas!
I joined this tour on my own, and luckily I was the only participant, which allowed me to hear all of the history in great detail. The guide was excellent, passionate, friendly, and very professional. I highly recommend it!
This tour was a highlight of our trip! The Acropolis is breathtaking, but having a guide who could bring its history to life made all the difference. I loved learning about the myths, the battles, and the genius behind the architecture. Walking around with Evi, taking it all in together, made it even more special. It’s one thing to see the ruins, but it’s another to really understand their story. Absolutely worth it!
My girlfriend and I recently did this small-group Acropolis tour, and it was an absolute highlight of our trip to Athens. Unlike large, crowded tours, this one felt personal and relaxed, allowing us to really take in the history and beauty of the site without feeling rushed. Our guide Victor was knowledgeable, engaging, and had a way of making the ancient ruins come alive with stories about their history, architecture, and cultural significance. We especially loved learning about the details of the Parthenon and the surrounding monuments in a way that felt tailored to the group. The small group size made it easy to ask questions, take photos, and truly enjoy the experience together. The pace was perfect – informative but never overwhelming – and the guide shared insider tips and little-known facts that made the tour feel special. If you want a more intimate, educational, and enjoyable Acropolis experience, I highly recommend this tour. Perfect for couples or anyone looking to avoid the crowds! P.S ask for the additional museum tour as we did
This was one of the best experience we have ever had! We enjoyed our Acropolis tour so much!!! Our guide was incredibly friendly, passionate, knowledgeable and entertaining. We immersed ourselves in the Greek culture and we learned so many interesting facts about Acropolis and Greek History as well. The fact that it was just the two of us gave a more personal touch to our tour and it was highly appreciated especially compared to the all these big groups around us. This was a top notch experience. Book with Truevoyagers, they are the best! Highly recommended!!!
Sophia our guide was so kind and gave us a maximum amount of information during our visit! Very generous!
Our French-speaking guide Sophia was truly exceptional, very pleasant and with impeccable French oral expression. Thanks to her for making this visit so remarkable and enriching.
I went with my daughter to see the Acropolis and the museum, both magnificent, as was our guide Evi, who told us all the most fascinating and interesting information about the place and the monuments. We went in August, and despite the heat, we would do it again; Evi had us stop in the shade every time possible, provided us with water, and also left us some time to walk around on our own in the most beautiful parts. I recommend this experience to everyone and think it is something to do at least once in a lifetime.
A truly interesting excursion: our guide Nico is certainly very knowledgeable and capable of holding the attention even of our 11 and 12-year-old girls!
I have taken many tours with Viator, but this was one of the best, thanks to Luca, a knowledgeable and friendly guide who also engaged the children who were present. Thanks Luca
The experience was fantastic. Luca, the guide, explained the history, traditions, and curiosities of the place while also entertaining my son, the youngest in the group! It is an experience I would do again and feel confident recommending!
Nice tour, excellent guide, friendly and skilled. Two hours are sufficient to explore the site, then you are free. Thank you, Lucas.
Indeed, Sophia is an excellent guide. She is truly knowledgeable and very interesting. I highly recommend her.
The meeting point is clear. The provided water bottle is very appreciated. The suggestion to use the restroom before starting is wise, especially when traveling with children.
Visited the acropolis and museum together with Luke, a special and prepared guide, who involved us in the wonders of antiquity!
Many thanks to our guide Luke for accompanying us with great detail and expertise in this experiential journey in 'ancient Greece and the 'Acropolis in particular. It was pleasant to spend time visiting the monuments and listening to Luca, to whom we applaud.
