Anastasia was attentive with the group, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the Acropolis and museum artifacts. She was sunshine on our rainy day and helped us navigate the crowded museum. Very nice tour. Did bus pickup at hotel and drop off. Morning tour, no lunch. Perfect.

Our guide Kristina was wonderful. She cared for all our individual needs, and worked our tour so that we had a good mix of free & guided time. Brilliant to include the Museum, as we were quickly through the entrance. She guided us to the 'must see' parts; AND gave us good advice about other parts of the city.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic experience touring the Acropolis and Parthenon with Petros! He was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and informative, bringing the history to life in a way that kept the whole family engaged. You could really see how much he loves what he does, and he made the experience both enjoyable and memorable. Would highly recommend Petros to anyone visiting Athens!
Tots, our tour guide was amazing, very knowledgeable. We learnt so much about ancient Greece
Super friendly lady. She was so informative and funny. The walk wasn’t as bad as described on blogs. The weather was great and sun was mixed up with cold breeze. The Acropolis Hill tour is an experience to remember.
Fantastic tour from start to finish. Antonia our guide was very knowledgeable and made sure we were all accounted for. Audio guide also helped with keeping us together and on schedule, the museum and things were learned we would have missed without such a great guide.
The most perfect tour! Amazing experience! Thank you
Petros the guide was amazing. Super knowledgeable, friendly, funny and patient. I would highly recommend his services.
Eirini K is the best guide anyone could ever have. She made worthy every single euro we paid.
Eirini K was the best guide we ever had! Amazing professional, charming, welcoming, with passion and knowledge. I don’t know how much she makes but she deserves definetely a raise
Petro our guide was AMAZING. Tons of knowledge and humor. Recommend this tour to everyone!
niki was so sweet and so good at explaining!!! the acropolis was gorgeous, definitely take your best pictures at the top! gorgeous view of athens!!
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this tour. If you’re visiting in summer, book the earliest tour possible to avoid the heat and the huge crowds that build up by the middle of the day. The meeting point was easy to find, and everything was well organised. Make sure you bring plenty of water as it gets extremely hot, especially with very little shade. We were in a small group, which made the experience much more enjoyable, and our guide spoke excellent English. They were incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating history about the Acropolis and the surrounding archaeological sites. One thing to be aware of is the timing. The tour is advertised as lasting two hours, so we planned the rest of our day around that. However, it ran at least 30 minutes over the scheduled finish time (and may have gone even longer), which unfortunately meant we had to leave before the tour had finished. That was disappointing, so I’d recommend allowing some extra time after your booking if possible. Also, the tour doesn’t go straight to the top of the Parthenon. There are many stops along the way where the guide explains the history of different sites before reaching the summit. We personally would have preferred to spend a little more time at the top, especially given the heat, but if you’re interested in the full history, you’ll really appreciate the detailed commentary. If your main goal is simply to see the Parthenon, you may be better off buying entry tickets and exploring at your own pace. We travelled with our 15- and 19-year-old daughters, and they both really enjoyed the tour as well. Overall, it was an excellent experience and a great way to learn about one of Greece’s most iconic landmarks.
Beware the sun is hot and the climb is steep. Wear sunscreen and comfortable shoes you won’t slip on or out of. Bring water (only food or beverage you’re allowed to have anyways). Guide was great and very knowledgeable. Tried to get us in the shade as much as he could. Would do it again!
Our guide Petros was amazing. He was friendly and funny. He made the tour both entertaining and highly informative. He gave us a truly one of a kind experience.
Kat was a fantastic guide, extremely well spoken and made it a very enjoyable experience. She is highly knowledgeable and funny too. Would highly recommend this tour. The sunset was unbelievable.
Amazing experience! I absolutely loved the Acropolis tour. The guide was excellent—very knowledgeable, engaging, and friendly. The explanations were clear and made the history come alive. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent tour! I loved visiting the Acropolis, and the guide was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Time was of the essence, which is why I specifically booked the 7:45 a.m. slot to get an early start, avoid the heat and crowds. However, the tour didn't actually get underway until much later, and we didn't reach the gate until around 8:30–9:00 a.m. Not only did the tour fail to start on time, but six participants ended up abandoning the tour before it was completed due to the delays. This was very disappointing and did not match the experience that was advertised. They're more on the quantity rather done the quality.
It was a really good tour. Guide Eirini was very knowledgeable, passionate and thoughtful. Tour was exactly the right length - we saw everything in Acropolis, and finished before getting exhausted. Thank you Eirini!
Our guide Christina Stamou was amazing. She was very informative, professional and patient. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learned so much. We had previously visited the Acropolis and Parthenon without a guide but this time having Christina as a guide brought everything to life. Well done KeyTours for providing us with an exceptional guide. Lorraine and Ady (from Australia)
We had a great experience on this tour with Petros as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour engaging. He took lovely photos of us in front of the Parthenon as well which we appreciated. Due to some factors outside his control, we did have to rush through the museum but we still had a great time.
The tour guide was fantastic and the Acropolis is a must-see in Athens. Having the history explained made the experience even better.
Very complete and well explained. The tour guide was fantastic. I recommend choosing the museum as well.
The tour guide was so knowledgeable and made this experience so interesting. We loved learning about the history. Would definitely recommend visiting in November. The weather was still great but it was far less crowded.
Our guide Petro was brilliant. He was extremely informative, clear and personable. It was a lot of walking but was chopped into manageable sections. For us Petrol made history come alive. Interesting and very informative. Thank you.
Our guide, Kiki, was absolutely 👏 amazing! She delivered key information with a great sense of humor, keeping us engaged and focused the entire time. Booking tickets with a tour guide was the best decision! No queues, a small group, and fantastic insights throughout the tour. Watching others wait for hours made us feel even luckier. Totally worth it!
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and pointed out the significant historical sites as we drove from the port through the city. The walking tour to the Parthenon and Acropolis (which we did) was crowded with tourists. Our guide handled passage through the ticket gate efficiently, kept track of the group and her commentary was informative and interesting. We spent just enough time at the end exploring the shops and restaurants of the Plaka. I recommend this tour!
We had the pleasure of touring the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum with Maria from Key Tours, and she was absolutely fantastic! Maria was funny, knowledgeable, and passionate, which made the entire experience both entertaining and educational. She brought the history to life with her energy and enthusiasm, turning every part of the site into a fascinating story. She made complex details easy to understand and kept the group engaged the whole time. She truly is the Original Gangster (OG) of Key Tours Athens, Greece! If you’re booking with Key Tours, I highly recommend requesting Maria—you won’t be disappointed!
Amazing experience from start to finish. Krissa was a great tour guide, funny and informative, kept the whole group engaged despite large crowds around us. The absolute highlight of our trip to Athens!
Our guide was funny and told us a lot about the Acropolis and Acient Greece. After the tour we had free time to explore by ourselves and take some photos.
you also need a ticket, i find it is not that clewar from the booking. The guide could speak a little faster
A great walking tour of Acropolis and the museum but better do it when the weather is not too hot, bring rain gear as well. My tour guide Victor was excellent in explaining details of the background history.
Very knowledgeable tour guide but he can walk and talk instead of standing and talking so that we can get more time to see around. Good experience
Very well organized and knowledgeable tour guide knowing paths within the Acropolis to avoid the crowds
Location of tour was incorrect when accessing via the Viator app so we missed the tour. TripAdvisor was unwilling to provide a refund even though it was not our error. Unhappy with customer support and service.
Chimon was very knowledgeable, considerate, and had a nice sense of humor. He made the tour informative and fun. We would highly recommend it to anyone.
We opted for the Acropolis & museum tour with pre paid tickets and couldn't be happier with the 5 hours we spent in the guides company. His knowledge was a good backdrop to the beauty of the location and his relaxed attitude allowed you to still take your time to take the places in fully. Both me and my wife really enjoyed our experience and would recommend this tour to anyone who wants more colour added to an already colourful place.
We enjoyed the site and museum and our guide Lilly was informative and we enjoyed the tour. The museum was better than we expected.
Our Guide Sophia and driver Iannis were fantastic. They navigated the day well and made the trip very enjoyable. Iannis was amazing in getting us through the narrowest of streets, winding roads and delivering us safely back to Athens. It is a thoroughly memorable trip to an amazing site.
Very happy with this tour. The tour guide was very engaging and informative. She was very happy to share the history with interesting stories. Would recommend this tour.
Had a very informative two hour walking tour with our guide Myrto. She knows a lot about Greek history and kept the pace appropriate (as it was a hot day). Great detail about all of the temples, monuments, etc. Note tha there is climbing as noted, and would recommend bringing water, wear a hat, sunscreen, and sturdy sneakers/walking shoes)
We felt a bit rushed and may have enjoyed the experience more on our own. Especially the museum after the acropolis. The reason we went this was to get in at 8:15 to beat the heat. The 8 AM slot was not available from the official ticket site.
It was blazing hot, but our guide did get best to stay in the shade. The tour was three hours, but felt longer. Our guide didn't seem too excited, and the tour seemed to go at a slow pace. It was great to see these historic sites, but it would have been better with a more enthusiastic guide.
The tour guide could barely speak English so almost impossible to understand what he was saying, constantly paused to search for the right words & when he was talking, he kept speaking away from his microphone so no one could hear him anyway. Our ear pieces had a lot of static & didn’t work well. The information given (that we could understand) was very vague. After everyone had left the tour early (also frustrated with the guide) my husband asked the tour guide a simple question regarding some Greek history & the tour guide pretended to cough & then said goodbye & walked off (30 mins early). Most bizarre & disappointing tour we’ve been on during our 3 week holiday in Europe. Definitely avoid this one.
The tour was excellent, well paced with a knowledgeable tour guide for the acropolis and the museum. I highly recommend.
The organisation was great, easy to find, quick to reply our question. The guide gave us interesting information.
The most memorable was all of the explanations from our guide which helped me understand this incredible site.
My tour time was changed and honestly thank God it was, I do not know if I could have stood during the lunch heat. Dora was a great guide but it was very windy on her microphone and I couldn’t understand most of it through the earphones. We stopped and the most important places throughout the climb.
Nikos was amazing at explaining so much about the history of Athens. He made sure we were always stopped and resting in a shaded area for him to explain more about the history and the sites we were seeing. The whole process was easy to follow and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the Acropolis!
Nikos was a fantastic guide with great knowledge to share with us all. The whispers made it easy to follow!
