Today was a wonderful tour around Athens from Piraeus to Mount Lycabettus, to the Acropolis, and even witnessed the changing of the Presidential guards. Kostas was our most excellent private guide in his luxury Mercedes Van. He picked us up at the Piraeus harbor port as we disembarked our cruise ship and we traveled around Piraeus, pausing at the Temple of Olympian Zeus. We then traveled to the highest point in Athens at the Orthodox Church on Mount Lycabettus. What spectacular views all around Athens! We then went to the Acropolis and ventured up to the Parthenon and temple of Athena Nike. So much history all around. Kostas brought us to Panathenaic stadium where ancient Olympic Games were held as well as a venue for the 2004 Olympics. We then witnessed the changing of the presidential guards and caught a glimpse of the president of Greece departing the presidential mansion. Kostas provided commentary and history as we drove all over Athens. His experience and expert driving through the tight streets was amazing. Whenever you need a driver and tour guide in Athens, Kostas is your guy!

We got to see lots of beautiful places all over Athens. Guide was very helpful and at the end brought us right to our apartment. I recommend this tour.

Kontantinos was a great guide! We traveled in style and comfort in a nice Mercedes van. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the facts on the tour. We went to tourist spots and some other spots not on the tour to see some authentic parts of Greece. Not only did we learn about the travels of Paul, but a lot about the vegetation of Greece. I had no idea about so many things that grew here (pistachios, almonds, pomegranates, lemons, etc.) We stopped for lunch at a nice restaurant with lovely views. Nothing was rushed and he allowed us to take our time with everything. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend his services. As a believer in Christ, there is a lot of Greek mythology that doesn't align with God's word, but you block it out and discern what is true. I leave you with these verses... 1 Corinthians 2:12-16 ESV [12] Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. [13] And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual. [14] The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. [15] The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. [16] “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

We had an amazing time seeing Athens with Nick ! He is Very knowledgeable about the history of Athens and its sights. This is the perfect way to see everything especially if you don’t have the whole week . The car was brand new , super comfortable with AC. He gave us great recommendations for dinner, shopping and future travels . The restaurant he took us was amazing! We got to try all the local specialties and drinks . Highly recommend!!

What a great way to finish our vacation! Our day started with a pickup from our driver and guide, George, from the cruise port. He then spent the entire day showing us numerous archaeological and historical sites around the city. It was a great mix of both ancient and recent history throughout the city and he spent so much time explaining the cultural significance of each place we stopped or visited. He also gave us plenty of free time to meander around locations such as Zeus’ Temple or the Parthenon, so we didn’t feel rushed at any time during the day. We also were allowed to stop at any time during the day for food or restroom breaks if they were needed. This was easily the best tour we experienced during our trip. George was an absolutely wonderful guide and showed us things in Athens that we likely wouldn’t have seen had we been on a group tour of the sites. And because this tour was private, we had an air conditioned van all to ourselves throughout the day - so much better than jamming into a bus with 40 other strangers. The one real plus for this tour was the communication. Both the company and driver were constantly in touch with us via both phone and WhatsApp both prior to and during the pickup, so we knew who to look for, where to go, what tickets to buy ahead of time, etc. This is something that definitely set them apart from the other four guides we had hired at other locations on our trip and makes it so easy for foreigners who are visiting a new city for the first time. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and cannot recommend this tour highly enough! Our many thanks for a great day!

My husband and I lucked up and got Konstantinos as our private tour guide. He made our last day of our 15 day Mediterranean trip the most special day ever. He took a s to an authentic Greek restaurant that was delicious and so much food. He truly tailored our tour for us. When he pulled up the doorman told us we were in for a special day. We had no idea how special it would be.Best way to end our trip!!!
