Trendy Hotel By Athens Prime Hotels

Great hotel for our first trip to Athens. Graffiti in Google images was a little concerning at first, but I soon realized it was everywhere. Hotel (and Athens) felt safe for my family of 5 (youngest was 12). Hotel was close to Omonia metro station (also safe and easy), and close to a couple restaurants that were hits with the kids. Breakfast each morning was filling and a had a good variety - everyone had favorites. Mine was the fresh Greek yogurt (and drip coffee). I would recommend to families traveling, and would happily stay here again. Only small complaint was that the shower stall area had a small leak that caused the bathroom to get wet when someone had showered.

Very Disappointing Customer Service Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Due to the strike, we were stuck at the hotel for two days, which was already a difficult situation. My child woke up late and missed breakfast, so I simply asked the receptionist if we could have one extra banana. There was ripe fruit available, but instead of showing any understanding or basic kindness, the receptionist refused because breakfast time had passed. The fruit was left there to eventually go to waste rather than giving a single banana to a paying guest. I understand that hotels have breakfast hours and policies, but this was such a small and reasonable request. Given the circumstances, a little flexibility and compassion would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, the lack of hospitality and humanity left a very negative impression on us. Customer service should not be only about enforcing rules—it should also be about treating guests with kindness, especially when they are already dealing with an unexpected and difficult situation. We will not return to this hotel, and I cannot recommend it to others.

We were given a free room upgrade and the morning breakfast was great with ma y healthy and unprocessed options. The staff was friendly and our rooms were very clean, stylish, and well equipped with towels blankets and complementary water bottles and coffee. Really great experience; I highly recommend this hote!

I had a great stay at Trendy Hotel. The location was excellent and made it easy to get around and enjoy the area. My room was modern, clean, and very comfortable the Air-conditioning was fantastic! A special shoutout to the lady at reception, who was absolutely fantastic. She was welcoming, friendly, and made check-in and the rest of my stay a great experience. The breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh Greek yogurt. I also loved the freshly squeezed orange juice machine. It was a really nice touch and made breakfast feel even more special. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend Trendy Hotels to anyone looking for a comfortable hotel in a great location with excellent service.
