The rooms are lovely, but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing for a five-star hotel. **Avoid room 203!** For some inexplicable reason, there is an illuminated exit sign inside the room itself, which gives off a considerable amount of light throughout the night, making it difficult to get a proper, restful night's sleep. To make matters worse, the wardrobe light doesn't turn off either, adding even more unwanted light to the room. Be prepared to be woken up from around 8am by housekeeping staff clattering around and talking loudly in the corridors. The hallways are extremely echoey, so every conversation and noise carries straight into the rooms. Forget about enjoying a relaxing lie-in! While the rooms themselves are very nice, a good night's sleep in a dark room should be a basic expectation, particularly at a five-star hotel. Unfortunately, this was far from the peaceful and comfortable experience I had expected.

Overall a pretty good hotel. A couple of things. Not the newest hotel. Couldn’t see the temperature setting on the panel as faded out. Had aro call reception. Lots of laughs as they told us the opposite Turn right for warm but actually got colder. Disappointing house keeping. Did not properly clean room. One bed was not completely made up. Did not replace bathroom towels nor replace water. Did not mop bathroom or bathtub as hairs weee left.
The hotel is nice overall and more or less what you would expect, although the rooms are not really like the ones shown in the photos. They are much more basic and Old. They are not bad, but they definitely don’t match the images presented in the pictures The rooftop is very nice, but at times it gets so crowded that it is almost impossible to find a seat. What I really didn’t like, however, was the service. I ate at the hotel for three days, despite the prices being very high, and I found some of the additional charges rather excessive — almost as if they assume guests won’t question them For example, one day we ordered two Greek salads and a club sandwich. The waiter asked if we wanted bread, and we said yes. We were then charged €9 for bread — literally three slices and some croutons. We didn’t even eat the bread because the salad already comes with bread, and the club sandwich is, obviously, a sandwich But what bothered me most was an incident with a coffee. Another day, we ordered two coffees and one waiter came over and told us they were €6. When we went to pay, the girl at the bar told us they were €10. Camon, it says 6€ in the bill. I didn’t say anything because €4 is not going to make a difference to me, but being charged differently for the same thing is simply not acceptable. It’s worse a bad review than lose 4€. Hopefully, this feedback will help prevent other guests from having the same experience or prevent the owner how the staff earn their tips :) Edit: not everything was bad, i want to say breakfast is really good and housekeeping service was super sweet and nice, also the front desk guys
This is not a 5 Star hotel. This hotel seems like a 3 Star hotel with a nice TV and Bed. It seems like it’s been cheaply renovated but I will no longer be staying with Radisson blu due to the misleading photos. I don’t usually write negative reviews but I believe this hotel deserves one. Arrived at the hotel and approached the check in desk, the lady who served us mentioned she had upgraded our room which we were grateful for. Entering the room it seemed very old with marks on the walls. I also noticed there were two twin beds rather than a king bed as I had requested. I went back down to inform the man at the desk who stated I had requested two double beds. I showed the man my reservation but he was very dismissive mentioning on their system it said two beds, he then proceeded to state he would have it fixed but as if he was doing me a favour. The way it was fixed was by placing a topper between the twin beds ( I know this is standard practice). The topper made no difference as there was a diver in the middle where I or my wife would constantly roll into and had the worst sleep. I informed the man at the front desk the next morning to which he stated he could add another mattress on top, at this point I refused and asked for a king bed, he stated these rooms were already booked. The bathroom was so outdated and had a missing seal for the shower screen which meant when you have a shower the floor flooded. On top of this the rooftop pool and bar was hired for a private event on Sunday from 5pm which is the day I had planned to go as a lot of stores are closed on Sundays. There was no mention of this to me beforehand at checking in or via email and I had to read this from a notice in the lift. The music from the event was so loud I couldn’t go sleep early even if I wanted to and went on till 11pm. The staff are very unhelpful and this is not the service I expect from a 5 start hotel. You pay for a 5 star to get that level of service but unfortunately I have lost faith in Radisson Blu as a brand and will not be staying at any of their other hotels.
Absolutely loved our stay at the Radisson Blu. The staff across the hotel were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The team at the service desk, in particular, stood out for their friendliness and support. Our room was spotless, well maintained, and offered a lovely view of the Acropolis. Breakfast was excellent, with good quality and a wide variety of options. The sauna was enjoyable, although it was disappointing that the swimming pool was closed. A jacuzzi would have been a great addition. The only downside was the customer service over the phone prior to our visit. When we tried calling the hotel, the staff member on the line was not very helpful, had difficulty understanding English, and disconnected the call without resolving our query. That said, once we arrived at the hotel, the overall experience was excellent and we truly enjoyed our stay.
