New Hotel

Athens has no shortage of good hotels. NEW Hotel is a different category. The design gets your attention first — every floor feels intentional, and the rooms manage to be striking without giving up comfort. I actually slept well, which isn’t something I say often on the road. The service is what made it memorable. The staff anticipated things before I asked, and nothing felt scripted or transactional. The location is hard to beat. Syntagma is minutes away on foot, Plaka and the Acropolis are right there, and you can walk to most of what you came to see. If you’re headed to Athens, stay here. I’ll be back.

We had a great stay at New Hotel. The location is perfect and was very easy to walk to popular locations in Athens. The staff was very kind throughout our stay and gave us complimentary drinks on arrival. The room was very comfortable and clean. The rooftop bar is awesome and has a partial view of the Acropolis. The restaurant was delicious, we ate there for dinner as well as complimentary breakfast and the breakfast had so many options. The hallways are a bit dark outside the room but other than that it is very modern and cool. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff and Service were great. The location was in the heart and situated exactly where you would want to be with easy walks to historic sites, dinning and shopping. The room quality was ok but was clean and had air conditioning. Little hotter with the max coldness being 19c. However our room with balcony had views of the Acropolis!!!! Beautiful at night!

We absolutely loved our stay at New Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Since we were celebrating our honeymoon, they surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our stay even more special. The service throughout our visit was exceptional. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and the nightly turndown service was a wonderful bonus. Our room was beautiful, the air conditioning worked perfectly (which was a lifesaver in the Athens summer heat), and waking up each morning to a view of the Acropolis was unforgettable. One of our favorite parts of the hotel was the rooftop bar. It stays open late, making it the perfect place to enjoy a nightcap while taking in the incredible panoramic views of both the Acropolis and the city lights. The location couldn’t have been better. It was close enough to walk to all of the major attractions, restaurants, and shops, yet tucked away in a quieter area without large crowds of tourists right outside the hotel. It gave us the best of both worlds. We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and it exceeded our expectations. The chicken risotto was absolutely delicious and ended up being one of our favorite meals during our time in Athens. We can’t recommend New Hotel highly enough. Beautiful rooms, outstanding service, an incredible rooftop, fantastic food, and a perfect location made this one of the highlights of our honeymoon. We would happily stay here again!
