I can barely give this hotel 3 stars. I arrived 2 hours before the check-in time, completed the check-in process, and asked them to leave my luggage in my room once it was ready. I left the hotel and came back 1 hour after the official check-in time, but the room still wasn’t completely ready. My luggage wasn’t in the room, and there were no bathroom amenities. I had to call reception three times just to receive the basic bathroom kit. In the end, I only received a toothbrush and some cotton swabs. The receptionist seemed annoyed that I had called several times for such basic items and was quite rude instead of simply apologizing for the inconvenience. At night, I requested some water and was told to come down to reception and take it myself! The breakfast is also nowhere near what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. The buffet had very limited options and the quality was disappointing. I strongly recommend skipping this hotel. It does not feel like a real 5-star hotel at all.

Fantastic hotel! Although I only stayed for one night, I had an excellent experience. Alex at the front desk was incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived, and I really appreciated his assistance throughout my stay. The hotel is also in a great location in Glyfada, close to the beach, Vouliagmeni, and not a far drive to downtown Athens. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again.
Excellent Hotel Experience in Glyfada We had a wonderful stay at Glyfada Riviera Hotel and were extremely happy with our experience. The location is excellent, making it very convenient for exploring Glyfada, with everything we needed close by. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the price was excellent considering the location and overall quality. The value for money is honestly outstanding. A special mention to the lady and gentleman at the reception, who were both absolutely wonderful. They were extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful, and always very accommodating to our requests. Their hospitality really made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic hotel with a great location, excellent cleanliness, very good pricing, and genuinely warm service. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was a solo traveller who stayed here for four nights on holiday after working in central Athens and staying at the Grand Hyatt. There is nothing about this hotel that is five star. The standard rooms are tiny, with nowhere to unpack your belongings or any floor space to open your case. The two twin beds were so close to the balcony door, I could barely squeeze through them. Making the extra cost of the balcony, pointless. The green fire exit sign lit up the room after dark, so thank goodness for my eye mask otherwise I would not have slept. The gym is nothing more than a glass box with no weights over 10kg. Didn’t even see the so-called sauna and Spa. And the pool is only open between 10 and 6, which was massively disappointing. I opened a tab with my credit card on the first day, so I didn’t have to pay as I went… however, on numerous occasions I was asked to pay for my food or drinks there and then. I found most of the staff quite polite, friendly and helpful - but a couple that were just quite strange and awkward. One redeeming quality was the food. I ate at the hotel of an evening, as I was on my own. It was well prepared, good quality but not very Traditional - not a single Greek option for dinner. Overall, for 380 euros per night - it was hugely disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend it unless it was a one-night stop over on your way to somewhere else.
Two friends and I booked a one night stay at the Glyfada Riviera Hotel as a buffer before heading home from a weeklong retreat. The hotel was everything we wanted for this visit - clean, close to the beach, and with a relaxing poolside vibe. Bonus points for the large, luxurious shower, robes, and free waters and sodas in the fridge! Breakfast is available in the morning although we did not take advantage of that option. The staff, particularly Alexandra at the front desk, was extremely helpful - she recommended a delicious local restaurant for dinner and helped arrange an airport transfer for one of my friends. We enjoyed sitting by the pool with some wine and snacks and getting a good night’s sleep before long-haul flights back to the US. I would definitely like to stay longer in the future!
