The location of the hotel is not good - I made the mistake of not doing my research before booking this hotel. The streets in this area do not feel safe especially at night, look up Omonoia Square (down the street from this hotel), which is all you need to know. The reception staff are super friendly and helpful, I do not blame them at all. However, the rooms are not clean and unfortunately we found a cockroach, and another dead cockroach (along with cockroach droppings) in our room. The receptionist was helpful and quickly changed our room which we’re thankful for, but we did overhear another couple complain about the same bug issue - which left us feeling very uneasy. The shower heads in both rooms were also broken/not working. I don’t recommend staying here, the location alone is not preferable - especially for first time visitors to Athens. Please do your research and stay in Plaka instead.

The hotel has a nice location, and among the staff, only the female employee (Katherina) is helpful and polite. However, the rooms are not clean, and there are not free coffee or slippers. Water is only free on the first night. The location is good, but the streets where it is located and behind it are not safe.Arkadaşlar konum olarak güzel cok birşey beklemeyin
We were concerned when our driver from the airport warned us about the one area in Athens to avoid…Omonoia. This hotel is at the edge of the Omonoia area. 7 nights here and never felt any concerns. Like any big city, use caution and some basic street smarts anywhere you go. We walked to dinner several nights, rode the metro later into the evening. No issues. Staff were amazing. They arranged cars to and from the airport for us. The cleaning staff took amazing care of our rooms. Breakfast was great. Really close to 2 metro stops. Out of the middle of the tourist area, so is not constantly packed. Airport transfer was able to drop us directly in front of our door, so we weren’t pushing our luggage for 1/4 mile like many people we saw in the Plaka area. Would definitely start again.
The hotel is great, rooms are comfy and clean, and staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food is also nice - we had evening meal and breakfast. Cannot fault the hotel at all, a shame the area cannot match the same. A very deprived area with druggies, homeless and prostitutes just on our short walk at 9pm from the nearest metro - didn't feel particularly safe (hotel is locked at front doors so feel safe in the hotel just not surrounding streets).
4 night stay to this hotel early February 2026 was a gem. Katarina in reception was most helpful and with providing me a kettle, city & restaurant advice, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in an executive room. I enjoyed a quiet and very clean room. The staff was always keen to ensure my wellbeing and this hotel well deserves its 4 stars. The small gym (4 machines) was perfect for my needs, but the sauna (at no extra charge) available everyday until 8pm topped it all off. It was perfect to unwind after a long day of hiking & sightseeing. The central location made for an extremely easy commute anywhere in Athens. Through no fault of their own, this hotel is located in the neighborhood of Ommonia that is plegged by drug addicts and homelesness, the hotel staff made sure to keep the hotel doors locked at all times, entry was monitored through a door bell & camera. I could not have felt safer and more welcome inside the hotel. Whilst it may not be the most ideal location for a family, it was a wonderful stay at an affordable cost and the amenities and the service were top notch. I would go back.
