SKIP IT - construction happening across the street as of September 2026. Please read the rest. I searched all the reviews on Google, booking.com, etc. before booking and the website made the hotel appear really nice online but upon checking into our room, I felt like we got scammed. Either we really got the bad end of the stick with this room or there is a bunch of false advertisement going on… when we got into the room, the couch was visibly dirty and had hairs on it from either the cleaning lady’s or whoever stayed there last. There were small white spots on the cloth pillows on the couch (I don’t even want to know what that was), there was mold in the shower, stains on the curtains, stains on the bed sheets (faint but still there), the walls were all beat up from luggage, and it smelled strongly of sulfur. To top things off, where our room was, directly across the street is this themed restaurant called Little Kook which is super cool, but the Halloween music they have on loop all day will send you into a spiral. Also - there is currently construction across the way that was going on super loud in the early morning and kept waking me up. Literally just constant loud drilling into concrete. I definitely didn’t feel like the room was clean at all and laid my own blanket down to sleep. I didn’t take pictures of everything, but attached a few pictures and trust the filth was in way more places than just what I took pics of. The sink faucet was DISGUSTING😭 I would’ve expected this from somewhere rated 2-3stars, not 4. It’s walkable to a lot, but there’s plenty of other places walkable. I suggest picking a hotel closer to the acropolis museum, but it isnt a bad area. Breakfast was your typical buffet and was fine - the staff was extremely nice I will say - helping carry our bags in and out of the hotel, but I’m sorry - it does not make up for the poor cleanliness of the hotel.

I stayed there on vacation for about 10 days recently. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. The location is perfect, close to restaurants, public transit, shopping, and archeological sites. The staff is wonderful. Professional, knowledgeable, and were more than happy to help with questions. It was a 12/10 experience. Next time I'm in Athens, this is the only hotel I'll be staying in.
This is a lovely boutique hotel situated in the most desirable location, Monastraki. The rooms are perfect. We had a balcony on the 5th floor with a sublime view of the Acropolis. We almost could reach out and touch it. Some have complained about the street noise but from our room we heard nothing. The staff is fantastic, including the housekeeper and the manager, Ina, who jumped to help at every turn. Our only hesitation in giving the hotel 5 stars comes from its tiny elevator.
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. The elevator, which is only big enough for one person w one suitcase anyway, was out of service when we checked out and there was no one to help us with bags - a gentleman fell down the stairs and the front desk person could not have cared less. Once you get to the room, there’s no luggage rack. Sink and walls were dirty, although thankfully sheets were clean. Towels were the smallest and thinnest I’ve ever seen in a hotel - we’ve had more luxurious service in Best Westerns. They also only give you one towel and then a weird mid size towel that has to triple as bathmat, washcloth, and hand towel since none of those are provided. There’s no coffee maker, and no other amenities. But the worst part of this experience was the incredibly rude and disinterested service we received throughout the experience. Staff consistently acted put out throughout our stay anytime they had to perform tasks like checking us in. If I could give negative stars, I would.
We were lucky to book this hotel last minute as our previous hotel had false advertising for the room we booked. The customer service was great here, plus a great free breakfast with freshly made omelettes and other great local and standard breakfast buffet food. We booked a room with a regular and a twin bed with partial acropolis views since we were 2 adults and 1 child. The twin bed was an actual comfortable mattress and the regular bed mattress was comfy too. They also offered same day laundry service and it worked well, we paid by the bag instead of item and prices seemed only a little more than nearby laundromats where you'd do it yourself.
