A rundown hotel on a rundown street. Bedsheets weren’t even clean, and we had to ask twice to get them changed. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere Edit: The hotel responded to my review and claims they’d be happy to assist if they’d been informed. Evidently not, as we had to ask twice to get them to actually do something about it. I also showed them pictures of the rundown state of out room, and they were wholly unconcerned. Calling this a “luxury” hotel is incredibly disingenuous. See the attached pictures and judge for yourself whether this is somewhere you want to stay.

The hotel's location is fantastic. The rooms are clean. It's a reliable and comfortable hotel. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The price is reasonable. It's within walking distance of all of Athens' attractions and historical sites. Everything is a 10-20 minute walk away. I definitely recommend it to everyone. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Athens.
I stayed at Athenaeum Eridanus Luxury Hotel for one night while waiting for friends before moving on to another place, and it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel offers a great combination of elegance and modern design – lots of glass, stylish interiors, and an overall refined atmosphere. Even the receptionist in a full suit added to the upscale feel of the place. The location is another strong point, with many of Athens’ main tourist attractions within easy reach, making it a great base for exploring the city. Even though my stay was short, I remember it as a very elegant and comfortable hotel, perfect for a city break or a short stay in Athens.
I thought this was a great value. My room was huge and well appointed with a comfortable king bed. Despite being between two busy roads, it was surprisingly quiet. The staff were very nice. The breakfast was good. I had an early flight and they even offered a boxed breakfast. I dined at the rooftop restaurant every evening; it had a quiet vibe after a day in crowded Athens. Walkable to all the major attractions. The downside would be the neighborhood. Much of Athens has a graffiti problem and that, coupled with several derelict buildings in the vicinity, did not give a good impression.
We experienced an issue with our room that was not the hotel’s fault, yet the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay, which is truly commendable. The hotel is clean, the spa is lovely, the staff is extremely kind and helpful, and the location is very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel. Even when unexpected issues arise, they prioritize the guest’s satisfaction and make every effort to ensure a pleasant experience. I would definitely return. The boutique atmosphere, attentive staff, and high-quality food at the upstairs restaurant make this hotel highly recommended.
