WARNING: DO NOT BOOK THIS ACCOMODATION We booked the Superior apartment with Acropolis view through booking.com. Upon check in, our key was missing from the lock box. We contacted the host and were informed that the housekeepers had given our key to the wrong guests. Instead of forcing the guests to vacate, we were placed in the ground floor apartment, which had a view of the concrete wall, lacked sunlight and absorbed street noise. The host told us that there was nothing they could do as the guests refused to vacate the apartment. They allowed these guests to trespass. We spent many hours trying to resolve this with the host and were gaslit and lied to throughout the entire process. Their offer of “compensation” was insulting to say the least, and they ultimately refused to issue a full refund as per our request. We were treated appallingly by this provider and strongly recommend other tourists/visitors do not book with them. The accommodation is unsafe and unsecure as the housekeeping staff let strangers into our apartment. This experience completely ruined our holiday. Please do not book with them.

This was our second time at the Acropolis Golden Suites and this time we stayed for 2 weeks and it will continue to be our goto place in Athens. We have Unit 3 which is on the 4th floor by US standards of a 8 story building that has a wonderful rooftop terrace with lots of tables and chairs for a takeaway meal or just drinks as you look at the Acropolis. Easy walking distance to many bars, cafes and restaurants where the locals go and also easy walking distance to all of the "tourist" shops and restaurants with picture menus. Easy access to the bus, trolley and subway/metro which are all now converted to easy tap-on and tap-off with a chip credit card. You can actually take the Blueline from the Athens airport and do a quick transfer to the Redline, and in 1 stop you'll come up right at the Acropolis Musium which is a 5 minute walk to the apartment.

We stayed at the Acropolis Golden Suites and had an exceptional stay. Starting with the check-in process, it was easy, simple and seamless. Vickie was outstanding offering the very best support through Whatsapp. Anna and Vickie went above and beyond expectations offering a level of service that overwhelmed us. The apartment was comfortable, clean and ideally located in central Athens. I commend this holiday apartment to everyone.
