We’ve just returned from a jam packed two weeks in Egypt were we’ve had the most amazing experiences. It was a TripaDeal Best of Egypt for 2 tour, and it did not disappoint. We had a packed tour of Turkey and Egypt. We spent 9 days in Egypt led by a tour guide from Egypt Promotions. The overall experience was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, even though we commented a few times to give us more concise narratives and a bit more free time to look at the sites. He was great and passionate about sharing his knowledge about Egyptian history and Mythology. Besides enjoying the sightseeing of all the amazing temples and museums. We enjoyed our 4 days boat ride on Dahabiya boat with entertainment and night party with village people. Visits to Nubian village was interesting as well. The driver abd other assisting staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time in Egypt.

We have just returned home from the most incredible 12 days in Egypt, and without a doubt, the highlight of our trip was our amazing tour guide, Michael (Mekhael) and ground support Samara. From the very beginning, Michael made us feel so welcome—like family rather than just guests. His knowledge of Egypt’s rich history was exceptional, bringing every temple, tomb and site to life in a way that was both fascinating and easy to understand. Whether we were exploring the Pyramids of Giza, cruising along the Nile, or walking through the Valley of the Kings, Michael’s storytelling made each moment unforgettable. What truly sets Michael apart is his warmth, humour and genuine care for his group. He always made sure everyone felt comfortable, safe and looked after, and somehow managed to balance professionalism with so much fun. There were so many laughs along the way, and plenty of “only in Egypt” moments that we’ll be talking about for years to come! He also helped us navigate the local culture (including how to handle those “free gifts”), which made the experience so much more enjoyable and stress-free. Michael is an amazing tour guide. Not only was he knowledgeable about the history but he helped navigate the chaos and lines. We were able to see a lot in a short time because of his resourcefulness and whit. I’d definitely go on another tour with Michael.

Our family experience with Michael Egyptian Promotion Tours was exceptional! Arriving in Luxor, the team met us as we offloaded the plane and were with us through getting our tickets to depart. Great communication and handled everything. Mike our tour guide was fantastic! Great personality and was able to adjust his approach for our kids (13, 10, 8, 6)… was also able to read their attention and energy levels and adjust how much he did or didn’t talk or show us. Would absolutely recommend him and the team. The drivers were great, on time, and felt comfortable and safe with them at the wheel.

It’s the guide (Ahmed) that really made this tour extraordinary! His knowledge and ability to decipher the hieroglyphics and explain in easy terms everything that is associated with the tour was outstanding. 10/10 I would not do an Egyptian tour any other way! His hints and tips on local customs also came in extremely handy and saves you money but also helps avoid counterfeit products and getting ripped off. Thanks so much Ahmed!

Walib is very knowledgeable About Aswan, kom embo, Esna and Luxor which were the tourist destinations we visited. He is very friendly too. These venues were absolutely beautiful and he explained the history very well. Tipping culture was excessive and often it felt he was pushing tips where not necessary. He kept stating that he was negotiating best prices with vendors to be fair to us but I am not certain that was always true because at certain places where we shopped, we felt ripped off a bit. This however is likely to be the Egyptian practice and part of the experience. We could’ve done with less forceful tipping

The explanation of the hieroglyphics. Our guide also treated us to a sugar cane drink. He also gave us good advice for shopping. The driver was quite nice and competent.

I was able to book with Egypt Promotion Tours via my travel agency Luxe Tribes for my son’s 12th birthday trip and it was amazing! We booked multiple activities (High Dam, Philae Temple, Blue Shadow Nile Cruise, etc.) and the guides, Mahmoud, Nour, Ahmed, Zain, and all of the drivers, were well informed and made sure to make me and my son feel safe. They all went out of their way to celebrate my son, Noah’s, birthday and make him feel special. I highly recommend using this company and I look forward to visiting Egypt again and exploring with my new friends!

Review We had an excellent experience with Egypt Promotion from beginning to end of our Journey. We met our tour guide in Luxor who joined our private 3 person group for the 4 day Nile cruise from 19th  to 23rd February 2022. Mr Mohammed (Also known as Smiley) is an amazing guide who made our first time visit to Egypt wonderful and memorable.  Mohammed has a vast knowledge of Egyptian history past and present. He was kind and patient and always  watched over us , for example, when our luggage was left behind in Cairo Airport, he went the extra mile to ensure that our luggage was returned to us. There were many times when he helped to translate for us  or the advice on where to purchase the things we wanted.  We were courteously greeted off at the airport by both him and Mr Zain, the regional manager. After the cruise we spent 3 nights in Cairo. There we were collected by and seen to by the operations manager, Mr Mahmoud. He was extremely helpful and even arranged for a jacket that we left in a tour van to be brought to our hotel. Our guide in Cairo was also called Mr Mahomed. He too was extremely knowledgeable about his field, and particularly about the Pyramids including the less known ones. Lastly all the drivers throughout the trip were very professional and experienced. We hightly recommend Egypt Promotions to anyone traveling to Egypt especially newbies. Their packages and tours are extremely reasonable and good value for money.

The Edfu Temple is one of the best preserved temples in ancient Egypt! Built between 237 and 57 BC, it is an outstanding example of Ptolemaic architecture. Its exterior walls are decorated with scenes of military victories and religious ceremonies, while inside there are halls, courtyards and shrines dedicated to the falcon god Horus. The temple is a maze of symbols and hieroglyphs that tell the story of ancient Egypt. Example the facade you see, imposingwith its 36 meters high is one of the most spectacular entrances to ancient Egypt. The room with the 12 massive columns, is an example of ptolemaic architecture. The sanctuary of Horus, the heart of the temple, where the statue of the falcon god is located. Lovely places.
