Our guide Omar was truly the best! He is very organized, calm, and pleasantly spoken. He explained everything clearly and precisely, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. He also gave us helpful recommendations to make our trip more comfortable and easy, and he genuinely took our requests into consideration. He even recommended a great place to eat — the food was excellent. The motorboat trip is something you definitely shouldn’t miss while visiting — it was an unforgettable part of the day. The tour overall was amazing, and we enjoyed every moment of it. Highly recommended!

Egipto Tours is a scam. I think he is manager, he goes by the name of Micke he is a real piece of work. He comes across as a big shot when in reality he is one of many scam tour agencies in this area. He loves to argue to try and get his point across. He lied and claimed my hotel was not in the pick up zone when none of this was mentioned or advertised in the booking. I have proof but he carried on arguing with me like I didnt. And then the meeting point i had to pay a fee to meet the driver and guide something else that wasnt mentioned inthe post. All of this could've been sorted out had he called me the night before but he never called. He claimed he didn't have my contact number which is odd because the tour guide was able to get a hold of me the morning of the tour then he claimed he did reach out but it went to voicemail. Well which one is it? You couldnt get a hold of me and left a vm and then you didnt have my number? He claimed he would refund me and didnt need anything from me which was another lie because in the end when i went thru viator to get a refund his company denied me of the refund so he did need me after all lol. The excursion was ok and the guide Miriam was good and tried to be as helpful as she could but I couldnt have a remotely good time thinking of how this Micke is @#$%% and he would refund me but did not. Stay away from Egipto Tours. You've been warned.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the tour experience my wife and I had. Unfortunately, the service we received was far from what was promised in the itinerary and fell significantly short of our expectations. Firstly, although the driver arrived on time, there was a complete lack of communication. We were not provided with any details, and the driver did not speak to us at all, leaving us unsure if he was the driver, the guide, or both. After approximately 20 minutes of silent travel, the car stopped, and a woman entered, identifying herself as the guide. It was only then that we were informed of the plan for the day. The guide asked to see my phone to verify the itinerary, which felt unprofessional and unprepared. We proceeded to Philae Temple, where she provided about 15 minutes of basic information before leaving us to explore on our own while she went to the cafe. Despite the itinerary stating we would spend two hours at the temple, we were left without guidance after the brief introduction. We spent about an hour exploring and reading the signs ourselves. During this time, we even encountered the guide we had the previous day for Abu Simbel, who was providing another group with a more thorough and engaging tour a stark contrast to our experience. After our self-guided tour, we returned to the cafe to meet our guide. She then led us to a gate, which we were not allowed to pass through, and without any explanation, she walked off. We were left to navigate our own way out through a crowded bazaar being hassled by the merchants, feeling completely abandoned and confused. Next, we were driven to the Nubian Village, despite the itinerary clearly stating that we would travel there by boat along the Nile. Upon arrival, we entered the village through a back alley, not the picturesque entrance we had seen in promotional materials and social media. We were shown only one house and left to take photos on our own, with no further explanations or guidance. The tour felt rushed and disorganized. Once again despite the itinerary stating we would be taken back along the Nile by boat we were driven back by car. Finally, on the return journey, we were informed that the driver would drop the guide off first as she lived closer, further emphasizing the lack of consideration for us as paying customers. Overall, the tour was poorly executed, disorganized, and failed to deliver the promised itinerary.

We had the absolute pleasure of touring with Aida, and we cannot recommend her enough. She was incredibly patient, kind, and truly made us feel welcomed from the very start. Her deep knowledge of Egypt’s history and culture, especially around Aswan, the Philae Temple, and the Nubian village, added so much depth to our experience. She shared fascinating insights in a way that was easy to understand and genuinely engaging. It’s clear she loves what she does, and her friendly, helpful nature made this unforgettable. This tour was a highlight of our trip to Aswan thanks to her!

Aida’s tour was so intriguing and captivating. We went to Philae temple, the Nubian market and village. She was very knowledgeable and good about getting us fair prices when negotiating. I would recommend her to anyone interested having an authentic south Egyptian experience.

Miriam was a polite and knowledgeable tour guide. We enjoyed the boat ride to Philae Temple and Miriam was able to provide the history of the site. We were then due to visit three different shops (alabaster workshop, spice shop and incense shop), however as we had already visited these in Cairo we asked if these could be missed as we did not want to feel pressured to buy any goods. Miriam was flexible and happy to accommodate this request. The Nubian village was interesting to see but is a small area and therefore extensive time here isn’t needed. The local shop keepers are also very eager to speak to tourists which made the experience overwhelming. Although Miriam was a very pleasant guide, we felt that the cost of the tour was a bit high for what was included.

Had a wonderful day with Aida. Started at the Temple and then we got to explore Aswan a bit and ended in the Nubian village. Aida showed us some of the local shops in Aswan and helped us negotiate prices and purchase the things we wanted. She was very knowledgeable about Egyptian history and all of the other temples. It was really nice to spend half of my day with her. I would happily do it again.

The organization was very professional and the guide quite knowledgeable about the site and the Nubian way of life. The only remark is that the visit to the Nubian village is a bit disappointing.

Wonderful experience in the city of Aswan with our guide Michael! He was very patient as we arrived late from Luxor. He was very knowledgeable, down to earth, funny, and so accommodating. He was so patient during our shopping and made us feel very welcome. I will always remember this tour of the Nubian Village and Philae Temple. Wish we could have stayed with our guide for our whole vacation in Egypt. I went with my two daughters and we felt very safe and comfortable.

Nice places, and the guides were superb, punctual and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. The trip takes around 6 Hrs.

Guide was average at best. Nubian village was underwhelming. Temple was the main highlight and it was cool to take boat to the temple.

Our guide was Michael and he made total difference. Michael has a perfect fluent amazing English. He is so kind, polite, a true Egyptologist. You see passion on his eyes while he talks about the history. I would spend days listening to his explanations. He picked us up on time im the hospital and from the beggining he was fully dedicated to us and our experience. After 12 days in Efypt, this was our last tour and we could not be happier. A huge thank to Michael, for making our last tour as an amazing last memory of our trip. Anyone going to Egypt, I highly recommend to ask for Michael as a guide. You have my word that you will not regret it!

This place is beautiful. The Nubian decor was great. The food was the best I had in all of Egypt. The staff was extremely attentive, professional, and kind. Definitely, it was a perfect decision.

If you want a private tour and a private guide with no crowds and no rush, this is it! We were picked up on time by Aida our amazing tour guide, she took us to High dam, Philae temple, Unfinished Obelisk, and some local shopping. We booked with same company the rest of our tours in Aswan.

We arrived Aswan station early morning and the driver picked us up on time. Tour guide is responsible, explained the history of Philae Temple and Nubian Village in details, everything went smoothly, no complain 🙂

Mustafa took us around Aswan, Edfu and Kom Ombo temple! We found him to be very passionate about Egypt and it's history. He explained everything around the monuments in detail and ensured we were all on the same page before moving on to the next place. He is an amazing tour guide, very helpful and energetic. He made the temples come alive with his passionate delivery.

As part of our Nile cruise we visited Aswan and related temples including Philae where we could enjoyed the sunset prior to leave. The temple is stunning, absolutely worth the visit. After the dinner our guide Mustafa was very kindly and took us for a night tour of the Aswan Bazar and recommended us the best spicy shop. We enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it, especially if you are lucky enough to get Mustafa as a tour guide. He is very knowledgeable not only regarding the history but also explaining us a lot about the Egyptian colture. Moreover he is the funniest guy in all Egypt :)

Mac was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Made the entire tours very enjoyable and personalized. His English is fantastic and the communication both in person and over messages was quick and flawless. Mac was also very funny and helpful, sorting all of our stay and organising other transport and activities which made our stay so much more enjoyable.

The tour of Philae and the Nubian Village in Aswan was perfect! Magdy is an excellent tour guide - he is flexible and well organized with his information. I truly enjoyed learning about the facts first then given the freedom to walk around and explore on our own for some time for photos, ect. I would highly recommend Magdy as a tour guide!! He will make you feel at home and like a friend rather than a tourist.

My cousin and I planned a trip to Egypt and had several different excursions planned. Most of our tours were fun but this one was the absolute best! The day before, our tour guide was so aggressive that he made the tour unenjoyable. Needless to say, we were over the tours. But with that being said, we were going to endure one more tour and not are we glad we did! Aida was the absolute best! She was fun, knowledgeable, quick, efficient, and most of all, TRUSTWORTHY! She explained the information about the tour and walking down the street! It was a relief bc in Egypt, they swarm you with merchandise and be estoy to buy. It’s overwhelming! I appreciated that the most bc she gave us a sense of security! Thank you Aida! Because of you, I would definitely come back!

What a great place but most of all what a great tour guide! we were very lucky to have Bic Mac or Magdy take us around. He is very fluent in English, extremely polite, has a vast of Knowledge and is very much fun to be with. He is very considerate of the other and tries to satisfy his guests and not to impose his agenda. And the places we visited were more than great. Aswan is a must visit place and never skip the Nubian village!

A visit to the Philae temple is a must if you are visiting Aswan. We were picked from the fabulous old cataract by our guide Magdy who was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly.our trip by boat in the Nile was magical passing through serene birds sanctuary before we got to the temple. The temple was in a very good condition and the trip was enjoyable and informative

Amazing day trip combining must sees in Aswan. If you're looking for how to spend a full day (up until 3-4PM) this trip is highly recommended. Our tour guide Aida was cherry on top, felt like part of our group. She provided us with her solid knowledge and kindly answered our questions. Above expectations with the beautiful Nile cruises on pretty feluccas. Lunch not included but we simply stopped by the Nubian Village for refreshments. P.S : extra cherry on top is hidden in the picture🐈‍⬛

The tour to Nubian does not need a guide because all you do is get a boat and walk around markets. The guide for that tour was friendly. The other guide to Philae temple gave good background on the history.
