The tour is comprehensive and a great alternative for those who have few days and/or don't want to take the cruise. The guide was great! He explained everything with so much love and appreciation for the history of his people. The driver was very professional and attentive.

This was terrible. Pick up was half an hour late. The drive spent most of the morning yelling on the phone. Was supposed to have a guide for both stops. The guide didn't show until 10 mins before leaving for the second stop. He said the driver never called him. Saw the drive try to call a number 3 times while arriving in town with no answer so no clue of that was accurate. Then the company said the guide was supposed to be on the bus but there wasn't enough seats. There was another open seat on the bus. The guide at the first place also had mentioned there would be a new guide at the second stop. Ill include screenshots if this let's me. Also, we were told the driver would drop us off at our hotels. The driver was insisting that he was only going to drop us off at the Luxor Temple and not to our hotels. The entire group had to complain and the company had to be reached out to in order to get him to agree to stop at our hotels. After that he spent the following hour of the drive flipping us off. Honestly, look for a different group to do the trip. This isn't work the hassle. Also when they say and hour at the stops that time also has to be used for getting up to the site along with buying the tickets. Even without the guide, the second stop felt like we had to speed through it in order to see most of it.

Our tour ended up being private only because no one else signed up. Unfortunately, both guides were disappointing. The first guide only explained the basics and did not seem very interested in communicating or sharing much history or storytelling. The second guide was even worse. He explained for only around 10 minutes, then left us there and went home. We also had no chance to ask questions afterward because he was already gone. Overall, this did not feel like a proper guided tour at all.

Great day from Egypt Knight Tours. We travelled from Aswan up to Luxor by private vehicle stopping at Kom Ombo, Edfu and Esna on the way. Our driver was courteous, professional, supplied us with water and we felt safe with his driving in a very comfy vehicle. It was great to drive through all the small townships to see the real Egypt, thoroughly recommend rather than getting a train. First stop Kom Ombo...our guide Abdul was superb. Very polite and professional and also extremely funny and engaging, involving us in acting out the story behind the temple. The temple is great, some great images depicting surgical tools right at the back and the story is interesting. Don't miss the crocodile museum next door to see mummified crocs!! Next stop was Edfu, my favourite temple of the day, it is such a sight to behold. Again, our guide Muhammad was great; explained everything in detail and gave us ample time to look around without rushing us. We then added Esna on to our trip but did not have a guide here. The outside had scaffolding but do not be put off as the inside has the best ceiling artwork and colourings in any of the temples we have seen so far in Egypt (we have seen a lot). Overall highly recommend using Egypt Knight as the vehicle, guides and communication were all great, with them contacting us the day before to reconfirm and giving us an opportunity to ask any last minute questions in advance.

tour operator is good. tour guides I met in each area was so small voice, so it has an improving point. Kom ombo and edfu are very beautiful temples, so it has value for take your time.

The guiding in Kom Ombo was superficial. The guiding at Edfu was good I think. The driver was careful.

The driver was pretty lousy and even though the description says the tour starts at a particular time, they'll ask you to be ready 2 hours beforehand because they pick up a whole group of tourists before proceeding to Luxor. More time is wasted on that than is given to the tourists to actually see the temples. The guides were worth hiring. Our first guide at Kom Ombo temple was terrific and highly informative! Our second one - not so much.

After negotiations, I compromised and agreed to a closer pickup location outside the island. You shouldn't include a location that you can't pick up at on the list. Moreover, despite repeated requests, they did not provide me with the contact details to meet my guide. At the first destination, the driver told me to buy a ticket and enter the area before meeting the guide. (Just like the driver), they may have thought that they would recognize me because they had my photo, but there were so many people in the large area and I couldn't even recognize my guide, so I tried for a while but still couldn't find him. I didn't want to waste any more time of my sightseeing, so I gave up looking for my guide and was forced to tour without a guide. Perhaps because I complained about this incident, I was finally given the WhatsApp number of the guide at the next destination, and was able to receive his service without any problems.

I booked with English tour guide. The guide hopped on near the temples, had very strong accents, hard to understand. Both guides spent about 10 minutes and took off. At the end of the tour, the driver just dropped the whole group in Luxor near no one’s hotel. I had to drag my luggage and walked 15 minutes to my hotel. Same situation worn the rest. I will not recommend this tour

Great way to see the Egyptian small towns. We stopped to see edfu and Kom Ombo temples and had very few tourists it was excellent. Driver spoke little english being the only downside. Roads were ok, not as bad a we were expecting. Definately the way to go if you don't want to a cruise or take the train. It took 6hrs including the stops. You can now go direct in 2.5 hrs on the new road.

Strictly avoid them. Guides at both the temples only spent around 20 mins with us, just giving high level idea which are anyways written on the signages there. Unlike other guides in the temple who were explaining various murals with great details, our guides didn't do any such thing. The driver (Michael) kept pressuring us to finish early. While the trip says 8-10 hours duration in viator, the driver didn't honour that. The guides asked us to finish our individual temple tours in 10-20 minutes, which is funny - as these two temples take hours to see. The driver sent the guide (at the Kom Ombo temple) to get us back from the temple as fast as possible. Both the driver and that guide was extremely rude.

Everything went exactly as plannned. Efficient and kind service. Pick up and drop off in the exact spot we asked for. I recommend it!

In fact I was expecting a minibus, however it was a car and a very comfortable trip , which did as promise. Tours were nicely spaced with a good unrushed time in each.

Experience was really good. The driver was fast. Going 140 km/h when he could. The guides were good too. Especially the one at Edfu This is great cause you get your transfer between Aswan and Luxor and you get to see the two temples along the way. Edfu is a must see

Great tour, perfect if you want to see the temples on your way. Rafeq is a great driver! He is very nice and his timing was on point. We arrived at every stop on time and he made sure I had everything I needed the whole time. The guides were great aswell.

Temples are worth the view to be honest. But i would not recommand that company for the trip. 1)for the price: take indrive (like uber), it will be cheaper 2)for the communication : couldn't reach them through text or by calling them before and during the activity 3)for the service : the owner yelled at me on the phone when he finaly reached back by the end of the trip 4)for the driver : couldnt speak english + asked me to give him money for the last hour of the trip (through Google translate) so he could open his own business... save yourself some peave of mind. Wish we could give 6 stars. Khaled did a superb job showing us karnak and luxor Temple and explained everything in great detail. Questions were incouraged and meet with a clear and thorough answer. Excellent driving from the chauffeur aswell. All in all an unforgetable experience.

We found this a great way to travel between Aswan and Luxor. Our driver picked us up from Nubian Village and then we met local guides as each of the 2 temples. Esam at Kom Ombo even gave us some useful information sheets to take away. We were then dropped off at our Luxor hotel.

The trip was great, I wasn't expecting to be alone, but I had a private car and a guides in the temples. In Kom Ombo I was guided by Esam, very professional well prepared guidance with lots of details, pictures and explanations. In the Edfu temple the guide was funny, but less informative, however all the important points were pointed. The driver drove safely and I was dropped to my guest house in Luxor. The contact with company by WhatsApp was good, I got all the information needed. Before you go it's good to book the tickets to the temples online at the official website, it saves the time and you know the current prices, as they change every few weeks due to the inflation in Egypt. I paid 360 and 450 pounds for the tickets additional (you buy the tickets by yourself anyway).

the driver drove safe and stable during the driving time. especially very helpful to drop me off as closer to my hotel. the tour guides are nice especially the one guide at kom ombo temple, he is very informative and professional. I can see he respects his job and tourists a lot. I really appreciate and enjoy it so much just one suggestion, there may be better a small tea or lunch break during the tour as it is quite hungry when arrived at luxor at 3:30pm. others planning is fine for me

We applied for local guides in Edfu and Komuombo as they were optional, and both were very nice and satisfying. (3 guides on 9-person tour, 6 unguided) We recommend that you do not have to go on a Nile cruise, but choose this tour that combines sightseeing to get a great deal.

The driver control time is good, there is a timely transfer and departure, and people are also kind. Only if the person who is not interested in listening to the talk can book another service directly, because the middle stop time is only 1-1.5hr, a little hurry. 複数人での乗り合いツアーだと思っていたのですが、今回は私1人の参加でした。朝、ドライバーとアスワンの集合場所で合流し出発します。コムオンボ、エドフの各神殿にガイドが待っているのでそちらで合流して神殿のガイドをしてくれる形でした。アスワンからルクソールまでのこの２つの神殿を巡るにはクルーズで複数日かけてじゃないと難しいと思っていたので、1日で周りつつ移動できたのでとてもコスパが良いツアーだと思いました。
