Pro - the driver was on time Con’s - the driver never spoke a word. He didn’t know English. - he had to ring his friend / co worker to translate. The person on the other end randomly started to sell me tours. - we got stopped at a check point. He had to get out of the car and left us for approx 5mins. We had no idea what was going on. It was terrifying. - he drove us through back roads that were piled with rubbish on both sides, and then through random side streets. I kept showing him the destination on google maps, and that the route kept changing. My partner has a purple belt in BJJ, and cage fighting. We were both on high alert. - finally arrived at destination. He said nothing and just left. - operator chasing for a review via WhatsApp Traumatising experience. Seems to be typical of Egypt. Trust no one. Will never go there again.

The best driver! Sultan was very friendly, trustworthy and humorous! Following a stressful and substantial delay to our flight he was able to lift our spirits and get us to Philae temple upon landing. Throughout the drive he'd tell us all about the history, culture and geography whilst interspersed with jokes! Throughout our excellent and comfortable Aswan to Luxor transfer - with stops at kom ombo and Edfu - he went the extra mile and got us some local refreshments as a surprise whilst we were sightseeing. Eyes of Egypt was great and very flexible. We had a last minute change of schedule where we were able to come earlier. They were able to adjust within minutes and they had Amir meet us at the arrival hall and had us off to our hotel within minutes. Amir was a great driver and pointed out places of interest as we drove by even at night.
