Omar was a wonderful guide. We had a great day! The obelisk was interesting and the temple at Philae was enchanting. Omar was informative and friendly

We had a wonderful tour with Mr. Omar (guide) and Ms. Sayed (driver). Everything was on time and organized, very informative and gave us plenty of time to explore the site on our own. Definitely recommend this trip and the visit to see glass blowing and essential oil making at the end.
Aids was amazing, very informative, with great historical knowledge. Outstanding service and a great tour. Very personalized.
Aida was a fantastic guide for the sites around Aswan. She was very knowledgeable, kind, professional, and does not rush you when you want to roam by yourself. Additionally she is a great conversationalist to put you at ease, which is great if the (sometimes a little chaotic!) experience of sightseeing in Egypt makes you at all nervous. Highly recommended.
Aida, my guide was very knowledgeable and informed on both the Philae Temple, Aswan Dam and also regarding the Unfinished Obelisk. Aida made the trip very enjoyable and allowed me plenty of time at each destination and was a pleasure to travel with, I would highly recommend her as a guide. Thanks Aida 👏👏
We had Michael as our guide. He made the experience wonderful. He is funny, highly knowledgeable and allowed us to be flexible. He taught us so much about the areas we visited and Aswan in general. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better guide. The Philae temple was amazing. And highly recommend asking for Michael.
Amazing places we visited: Philae temple Unfinished obelisk Perfume testing High dam Our guide tourist Aida was excellent: passionate about her job and country, she made sure we grab the essence of the city. She explained thoroughly and was patient enough to answer out questions. Highly recommend!
Aida was a fantastic tour guide who showed us all around Aswan. The High Dam and Philae temple were both great. I would definitely recommend taking the boat to the Nubian village.
Michael what’s apped the night before to confirm, which I always like. I had changed the pick up point from the hotel to the Nour el Nil cruise port. I was worried he wouldn’t find it but he did. He arrived on time with his driver and then we started the tour. The driver looked after our suitcases in the boot of his car whilst we walked around. Michael spoke perfect English with an American accent. Very easy to understand, unlike some of the guides. A very nice guy. First stop was the dam which was very interesting. Then went on a small boat to the Philae temple which was very interesting as well. We drove past the unfinished obelisk and chose not to walk about. Michael was full of information but to be honest we only wanted the highlights! I asked if there would be time for us to have a cocktail at the Old Cataract Hotel. We dropped Michael off and the driver picked us up 45 minutes later. The cocktails were very expensive! The driver then took us to the ferry to go across to Elephantine Island. Michael would be my guide of choice for any of the tours. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are in Aswan .
It is not 5-6 hours. Only 3 hours. I chose the 12:00pm option they have but then the guide texted me to ask to change to 10am. I obviously declined because if it worked for my schedule, I would have chosen it myself. Moreover, instead of really touring us the place, the tour guide tried to sell us so many things such as a cartouche made by her. She insisted on taking us to the spice and perfume shops to sell again even though I already declined at least twice. She definitely wasn’t very happy with that - but for god’s sake, I specifally chose to book a tour on Viator to give me a break from those selling schemes. Save your time and money (the prices doesn’t even include ticket entrance fees by the way). The only star that I gave to them is for the fact that I did visit unfinished obelisk, high dam and Philae temple.
Micheal was a brilliant guide. Informative, good company and his genuine passion for the historic sights of Philea and the dams and much more. Recomend
Great guide Mina! He gave us a detailed history of the sites with interesting tidbits and also a political background of the high dam. Good finish for our Aswan tour.
The trip overall is amazing and our guide Michael is a great guide. We skipped the High Dam cuz my friend and I were not interested. We went directly to the Philae Temple before it got too hot. Turned out to be a smart decision. Boat trip was included in our total fee and Michael already arranged for the transit. But we did not like the Nubian who went with us on the boat trying to sell bracelets in the boat. Michael’s introduction at the temple was thorough and he answered many questions from us. He left us for some fifteen minutes to take photos (btw he is a good photographer as well). We went to the unfinished obelisk afterwards and took a glimpse of the site. I think the trip went on more smoothly than we thought and our guide is very flexible about our requirements.
Aida was an excellent and informative guide throughout our tour!! I definitely recommend using her for your tour of Aswan.
Our tour guide was Aida. We had a fantastic time exploring Aswan. We were able to add on more activities. The day went smooth and Aida was a wonderful, kind and knowledgeable guide. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
The Philae Temple was impressive and guide knowledgeable. However, ours was supposed to be a "private tour". We were included in a group. As per inclusions, water was to be provided. We were told it was 20LE per bottle
Excellent trip around 3 local sites. The high damm is a damm not much to add to that. The temple and the obelisk are what it is all about. Our guide Michael was informative and fun.
Our guides Michael and hany. Available and interesting guides Each site we visited Were clearly présented with all required détails to understand thé story
We had a great experience in Aswan. Aida was a great guide and showed us everything we wanted to see. Also, helped with taking pictures of us, and also adjusting the tour for us. Would recommend to anyone!!
Aida is amazing! Tour with her and be amazed! I would recommend her to anyone visiting Egypt. I would give her ten stars if I could.
Great tour! Fantastic atmosphere and a tour guide who greatly enhanced our adventure, communicated effectively.
The guide is very friendly and very knowledgeable abt the place. The places are amazing. All is well structured.
The guide's attention and explanations were ambiguous compared to those we heard from others at other tourist attractions. After visiting the Temple of Isis (Philae Temple) he drove us without consulting us to an essence shop despite expressing that we preferred to go to the Hotel as we were tired and hungry, we felt obliged to visit the shop as he assured us that we would be given an explanation about Egyptian aromatherapy and we should take the opportunity. Really the explanation was more about the number of products they had and from the beginning we were pressured to buy something. After telling the store staff that we wanted to leave the guide’s intentions was to drive us to another spice store where, we imagine, we would keep pushing ourselves to buy. These “visits” were not included in the tour planning and we were not informed until we reached the end of the real tour. The attitude of the guide when he saw our disinterest in buying changed a lot and being the only ones going on the tour the situation was quite violent and uncomfortable for us.
O templo de philae vale muito a pena ver, e o facto de termos guia facilita em muito perceber mais sobre o templo em si
