We had an absolutely wonderful time on the Aswan to Luxor cruise with Rocky Family Tours! The entire experience was great. ​The guides were excellent. Rocky was our guide on the first day and he was fantastic. Hakim took over for days 2 through 4, and he was equally amazing. Both of them were very knowledgeable, kind, and took great care of us. ​The cruise ship itself was lovely and having a swimming pool was a huge plus. Our kids had so much fun playing in the pool after exploring the temples. ​We highly recommend Rocky Family Tours to anyone visiting Egypt, especially families!

One word: WOOOOW We did with my friend our first trip to Egypt. Rocky pick us up from the airport, and the adventure began. We have so much fun, we learn a lot, and most important of all: we were with somebody in which you can trust. We did the Nile cruise and also El Cairo The company's name is "Rocky Family" and we 100% can say that we were a family. In El Cairo our guide was Sahar, a magnificent guide, with a love of passion for her job and a really lovely person. Rocky, Sahar, thank you so so much for these days. My husband and I looked through several different guides and experiences for what we wanted with going on the Nile cruise. We came across Rocky’s and it just seemed to make sense, so we hoped for the best. Not even an hour later, Rocky messaged us to begin communication. What to expect, the schedule, etc. Almost everything he said, we did. The only bummer … it was too hot and unsafe conditions to do a hot air balloon ride. That was disappointing, but that was not within his control. So - safety is priority. Both guides ensured that we were always accounted for. They watched out for us. They weren’t just tour guides. They automatically seemed like they were taking care of their own family, which is such a great feeling. We seen everything we wanted. Unfortunately Rocky had to leave a day early, but this was not without an honest conversation with us, and setting us up with Amira who is equally as exceptional and knowledgeable. We were actually quite happy with both. They are humorous, intelligent, exceptional tour guides, and super friendly. If you’re looking at other places for tour guides, you will be missing out on a great experience. If you get them, you are in good hands. You will not need to do or think about anything- they do it all! It was more than anticipated, and we are very pleased.

We traveled to Egypt as a family of five with our children (ages 4, 6, and 9) and had a private cruise tour arranged from Aswan to Luxor. Rockey was very flexible in handling flight delays and changes, and the airport transfers were smooth. We were able to visit all the places we wanted to see, and the balance between guided explanations and free time was just right. It was easy and enjoyable even with young children. It felt as if a trusted friend who knows the area well had arranged everything and guided us, which gave us a great sense of comfort and security. Rockey, who speaks both English and Japanese fluently and also served as our guide, was wonderful—our kids absolutely loved him. We originally learned about this tour operator through a friend’s recommendation, and after comparing several local operators in terms of content and price, we chose this one. In the end, it turned out to be a truly satisfying trip. We had been dreaming of visiting the Abu Simbel temples and planned our trip months in advance. While looking for a reliable tour company, we discovered Rocky Family Tour, which is very popular in the Japanese community living in Egypt. We heard that many Japanese travelers had trusted them and felt completely safe with their service—and during our trip, we realized this was 100% true. We booked a Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. As soon as we shared our budget, they got back to us right away. Every question we had was answered quickly and clearly, which made us feel very comfortable. As the trip got closer, Mr. Rocky himself checked in with us several times, asking if we had any problems or worries. That level of care was really reassuring. Even when we ran into a problem with our online tickets during the trip, he handled it smoothly using his connections and expertise. Thanks to him, everything went perfectly and we were able to fully enjoy sightseeing in Egypt. The cruise itself was fantastic—comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and the food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We had such a wonderful time onboard. Right now, with the weak yen, it’s not easy for Japanese people to travel abroad. But honestly, Egypt feels like an oasis and is absolutely worth the trip.

Three meals inclusive cruise tour from Aswan to Luxor. Even though we requested the tour the day before, he responded quickly and flexibly to our requests, such as allowing time for our children's naps. He always planned from the customer's point of view, such as asking a partner to be a guide at a stopover to keep costs down, and on days when he was not in charge of the tour, he checked on us to see if there were any problems or if we were enjoying the tour. He is fluent in Japanese and English.

Rocky was amazing! He met us after we arrived on the boat and remained with us during our entire cruise. He was very informative and very patient with our group. We were a group of 5 and he made sure to meet all of our needs. He made sure we were well taken care of and even took us to a Nubian village. I had a great time seeing all the wonders of Aswan and Luxor! There are so many to see and they are amazing. We were given Mohamed as our guide and he was knowledgeable, friendly and really helpful making the trip so much more worthwhile. There were times where I think the tour fell short and that was the quality of the cruise, 3 star instead of 5 and the constant push by the other staff of the company to tip everyone along the way (without being given a choice).

Flight got huge delay but Rocky waited for us so patiently. Turned out to have great fun thanks to his tailored arrangements. Would definitely recommend.

Rocky is simply my most favorite and ultimately the best tour guide ever in Egypt, and anywhere else in the world. Rocky is awesome, let's get that clear :) He is well-informed, full of energy and stories, and knows how to take care of his entire group. Our particular group was entirely random, and full of unusual personalities; Rocky made sure that all of us felt comfortable, safe, and by the second day we were all having such a great time together. Rocky was able to provide us with good advice both during the official sight-seeing, and for after-hours adventures, too. He even arranged an out-of-the-way visit to Dendera, despite the diverging schedules of the group, without inconveniencing a single one of us, all the time regaling us with experiences both past and present. I'd highly recommend his services for a memorable tour of this beautiful, ancient land.

Based on the word of mouth from Japanese people on TripAdvisor, I applied for a Rocky Tour. There are very few guides in Japanese, so it was very encouraging for us to go to Egypt for our first honeymoon. It was also good to be able to communicate via WhatsApp from the time of application to the time of departure, and to discuss in detail where to go and the meeting time. (‎WhatsApp was in English, but seems to work even if you type in Japanese.) I was also grateful for the flexibility to consult with us separately, such as a guide in Cairo and a boat tour to Nubia village! It is also helpful because it teaches us about tips that are not so familiar to Japanese. The colorful and camel-ridden village of Nubia is optional but must-see!! Rocky is also good at Japanese (he has a lot of vocabulary), so he tells me a lot about the transfer and history. He also says he was a photographer when he was a student, so leave the photos to us 🙆‍♀️ Friends. My people. There are also many people who can reserve a boat or buy tickets without standing in line 😭✨ You can't choose a cruise ship, but all of them seemed to have almost the same facilities, and I had no problem using showers. I also enjoyed towel art every day! It’s a hard tour, waking up at 4am every day, but there’s so much to gain✨ I want to know more about Egypt and its history! I'm a beginner, but I want to have fun! I want to shop well! If you are (and they also help you with discounts), then please try traveling with Rocky 🙌

The schedule is pretty hard. Morning is early anyway. However, this is not so much negative as it is to avoid crowding and go around efficiently, which makes sense to actually go there. "Many reviews also praised it for ""running efficiently"" and ""wasting no time.""" The guides are a very reliable type and overall are well-arranged and reassuring. "All the travel, sightseeing and dining was smooth and I was like, ""OK, I'll leave everything to you.""" It's also understandable that many of them are actually rated as "safe and smooth" or "well-assembled." One of the best was an optional boat tour to the village of Nubia. This was, to be honest, the highlight of the event. The two of you can hire a boat and spend some pretty romantic time on the Nile. It's a bit of an "extraordinary dating experience" rather than sightseeing, and it's quite recommended for couples. Another sobering blessing was the chip area. Egypt has quite a complicated tipping culture, but they explained it well in advance and made it clear where and how much they would pay. There was no so-called "unclear billing" and it was less stressful.

Everything about this tour was amazing. The comfortable drive and other trips by private car to Absinbel, a clean and calm cruise ship, were very comfortable. Mr Rocky and his own personal guides at each site explained the site in a very easy-to-understand way. It was a comfortable trip with no worries as I was able to get in touch quickly.

Rocky was kind and flexible. They tried to make our wishes come true as much as possible. Rocky couldn't handle some of the tour in a hurry, but even then there was a polite follow-up at Watts Up
