The last of the 3 famous Aswan sites you will see is generally regarded as the best. Philae Temple was carefully moved to its current location (around 500 meters from the original site) when the construction of the High Dam caused surrounding Nile waters to rise. A short motorboat ride takes you to the island, where your guide will take you on a walking tour through the temple before allowing you free time to explore further on your own. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, Philae Temple has a beautiful setting on an island in the river which has been landscaped to match its original site.

Talaat Abdo....a professional, accommodating, and punctual guide who resolved every unexpected issue. Highly recommended.
The experience was great, there are extra costs but they are all clearly indicated when booking, so no problem there. Visiting all the temples was incredible, we had Talaat as a tour guide and he explain everything very well and took care of us along all our visits. It was a great experience, even with the early mornings to fit all the temples in just four days.
We were lucky having everything sorted out - from stepping out from the plane and all the logistics. Also our cruise boat Lady Mary was exceptional. Our guide Talaat was well prepared and was updating us all the time about the places we visited, he had interesting and engaging stories and was always there for any needs and requests. We really enjoyed our trip as well as our 4-year old son.
Talot was the best tour guide ever!!!!!! The whole experience was amazing! Don’t over think it - do it!!!
This is a very nice organised combination of Neik Kruse and sightseeing. All major sites I included and guided by a very smart and knowledgeable to a guide. Maybe the drive to Abo symbol with four hours each direction is something for really lovers of antique monuments. But the price value ratio is perfect and the boat has been great
Super Tour, super guide. King Mina is most experienced and organized tour guide one could imagine. First time I fully understood Egyptian history in illustrative form
Everything was fine! We enjoyed our time
1.we order 3 people. Finally only add one bed in a twin bed room. no Triple cabin (bigger room) on the cruise. 2. not only the price mentioned in the viator. 100 USD per person for the ticket fee (more expensive than buying by yourself) and 10 USD per day per person for all the tipping was charged by the guide. 3. in the last day we were brought to a very expensive restaurant, which is full of tour/visitor. Overall, the trip is ok.
AVOID THIS NILE CRUISE! That was the worst experience for me and my girlfriend. It was not organized, and we did not enjoy the beautiful places in Luxor and Aswan because of unprofessional tour guides. We had different issues everyday. They will charge you extra for everything like local transportations and any drink even water. The tours were very short and extremely rushed, you won’t have enough time to enjoy anything like the beautiful temples. It was a waste of money and time. Just skip this Nike cruise company.
I spent a great time seeing the old wonderland of Egypt temples and getting to know all about them by the guide of the group Mina who was such an amazing person and smart having great information about each place, god/ess, symbol. Telling us this info in a very interesting way which made it more fun to listen to. Loved it so much Thank you Mina! Ah, sorry I meant King Mina
An amazing experience in Egypt which we long to come a few years ago. The history, the heritages, the sceneries, the rive Nile are awesome. Mina is our guide who is experience, knowledgeable and helpful. An excellent guide!👍
One of the most insightful 4 days of mine in a while! Our guide KING MINA explained everything so well that it felt like we ourselves were in a history book, within the tales of 5000 years ago. Amazing experience. Definitely recommended.
Cruise ship was great and the staff was amazing. Very friendly, polite and helpful. Our guide(King Mina) was wonderful. He was very entertaining as well as extremely knowledgeable. He was readily available to help when I needed assistance and answered all questions with great detail. One of the best tour guides I have ever had.
A wonderful experience for us in Egypt. A four days three nights cruise was memorable. Our tour guard Mina is friendly, knowledgeable and informative. We were well look after and everything well arranged. Highly recommended.
It was amazing and what make it like that was our guide Mr. Mina, he was very kind and explained everything throughly, using simple way to reach to all of the different group members. Loved everything specially king Mina 👑 highly recommended to do this trip with him. Thank you.
We booked a Cruise from Aswan to Luxor for 4 days and 3nights. Our guide was King Mina. He was a charming and lovely guide with so much in depth knowledge of ancient Egypt. The tours and trips with him is an unforgettable experience. He is too attentive to everyone’s problems and solves them with ease. Would love to come back again 😍 Love from India ❤️
The 4 days cruise on the Nile was exciting and really great. Mina Rafat is an excellent guide who has tremendous knowledge about ancient history of Egypt and is a calm, composed and helpful person. He accomodates, helps and keeps things smooth and great. Thank You so much for assigning such a guide to us. The cruise experience though could have been much better to be honest, especially the food was not up to the mark.
When you booked you have no idea about the ship you will stay. There is no one from the agency at the tour only the guide. Our guide was King Mina, he is amazing. Very helpful, very wise. We don’t know if that was a ship or agency problem but he wasn’t able to stay with us during the whole cruise, and that was a bit disappointing. The temple visit schedule is extremely tight, and we barely have time to see anything properly. Most of the temples were visited in only about 30 minutes, which is very frustrating, especially because I was really looking forward to experiencing these places. The boat’s structure itself is fine, nothing very sophisticated. There is a very strong cigarette smell. The food is good, but nothing special. If there were any nighttime activities on our boat, I didn’t see them and wasn’t informed about them. What truly made the experience worthwhile were the temples we managed to visit with our guide, King Mina, who was always in a good mood and always ready to explain everything to us.
Mina was the best and most knowledgeable guide i had throughout my entire trip. He’s also very fluent in english
It was a beautiful Nile cruise, our boat name was Malaga and it was really nice, the stuff is awesome. The food was perfect, very big selection of food for each meal. The Gala dinner was New Years was the best. The things that are not mentioned in the itinerary or in the reviews but I feel is important to know is that the tips price are at a fixed price of 30USD per person and you have to pay on the first day. There was Nubian village tour that lasts 1h at a cost of 30USD per person and it started 10min after we got to check in into the room that we also had to pay for but since we didn't want to go, we got a refund on the last day. These things should be mentioned in advance. For big fans of Egypt that want to see and learn a lot, this is not for you. We were running in the temples w 15min of free time. Drove 6h for Abu Simbel to be there 1,5h. Luxor day was chaotic, the guide was late from the morning and rushed every single temple and sight. He explained things in 15min and then let us be free for 30min. This is not a guided tour then, other groups were seen in the temples w the guide explaining everything. Also, the guide forgot about us and left us in the valley of the kings on the last day, he had to come back after somebody told him we are not on the bus, didn't event apologize. Also, we lost 30min to go to some tourist bait musem to watch people bang on rocks instead of going to the Karnak temple (most of the group didn't want to go but the guide didn't care) also he asked us if we want to look at perfumes and the end of the first day, we all said no, he still took us there and we had to sit and listen to some presentation that nobody cared about, we were all so tired from running around. If you want to visit things in peace, and learn the history, then stay longer in luxor and take a private guide. We had to use the guide book we bought and google Gemini to actually know where we are. Overall was nice, but the guide and his tours were a fail. He couldn't even memorize all 15 of his participants, while we all knew each other. We always had to tell him if someome is missing. One day he gave 2 tickets to someone else, outside from our group without noticing it. He didn't notice that 2 people decided not to go on one of the tours, we all had to tell ih that they are not there. When you have a question, he makes you feel like you are being needy, keep telling you to relax and enjoy without answering questions. We had a flight at 7:45pm, at 8pm we were still at the luxor temple. We were panicking bc we had to arrive at the airport 2h before the flight, we kept asking him when is he going to take us to the airport. He kept saying, relax and enjoy. I don't know how can you relax and enjoy when your guide is late, takes you to places you don't want to go, rushes you trought temples, doesn't want to answer your questions when you are concerned about something. The cruise, the staff, the food, the room, the boat and the participants were all perfect and awesome and I give 10/10. The guide, his organization, his tours and explanations I would give a 3/10 You can't let people arrive on the boat and force them to pay for a nubian village tour they didn't know about(we had a group chat where he wrote all the prices and this, again, wasn't mentioned) and charge 30usd for 1h tour. Last thing, the guide gave us a link before our last day and told us to write a review before the tour is done saying: tomorrow is the last day, there will be no problems, so you write a review today. Thank god I didnt because the last day was a complete failure so I am glad I can write an honest one. The tour guide name was Khaled El Saady.
The cruise experience was thrilling. The staff on the ship (El Fostat) was very attentive to passengers' needs, and we got along very well. We took the package including all excursions with guide Khaled and were very pleased. We appreciated that the price included a tip for the staff, so we didn't have to worry about leaving tips. Paying everything by credit card was a big advantage. The schedule was tight: an early start for Abu Simbel, dawn for Edfu, and checkout at 7 AM on the last day. The excursions with the guide were interesting; he was passionate about sharing Egypt's history. A suggestion: using headphones would help when there are multiple groups with guides. The Abu Simbel guide (not Khaled) seemed rushed and disorganized, maybe due to handling multiple groups. Khaled arranged activities, including visits to shops and a typical Egyptian lunch. One downside: someone entered our cabin and stole our credit cards (luckily no cash was taken). We reported this, and Khaled helped us report the theft to the police, staying with us till dawn (thanks, Khaled). Overall, the experience was very satisfying, and I'd recommend it.
Our tour guide Khalid el Saady was very knowledgeable. I especially enjoyed the Nubian village portion of the tour. All the historic temples were great and beautiful. All the history makes this trip worth while.
Guide was very informative, and enjoyable, funny. He was the best guide we ever had. We would recommend him for our friends.
We did the 4 days 3 night cruise from Aswan to Luxor on the golden boat. The ship has been restored the rooms are clean and comfy. Our guide Talaat Abdo was very good ! Explains history on the spot very well! Easy to understand and we had a lot of fun together. Hai bibi!
The experience onboard was an interesting one with belly dancing experience and dance party. The price was worth the activities and the length of the stay was an adequate amount. Our guide Khaled was kind and checked in on us often. He also brought us to experience unique local culture.
Great Egyptian temples, great guide Khaled. Cruise was really good. Great food, clean. Good staff. Would recommend the trip!
Everything was excellent, except the nubian village, we did not enjoy it al all, we spoke with Khaled, and he solved the problem for the nubian village trip
Everything was great. Boat was nice and clean, food was delicious. We really enjoy the tour and I would recomend it to everyone.
Let me start with the downside: the cruise ship seems to be low budget compared to other ships we saw. Its interior looked older and the service was not the highest quality either. The food was okay but many items on the drink menu were not available. Staff sometimes could not complete simple orders probably due to language barriers. So you might want to consider paying more for a better cruise ship. Otherwise, the tour is amazing because you see ancient miracles built thousands years ago. The cruise is also enjoyable with opportunity of sunbathing, taking a dip in the small pool, or watch the Nile and its surrounding. Talaat, our guide, was clear in communicating the programme and the daily plan and good at explaining the history of the sights. All activities including transfer and getting the tickets were well organised and smooth - something that should not be taken granted.
We had a great time. Special thanks also to our tour guide Talaat. He did all his best to make this trip a great success. Relaxed and humorous guy. The cruise 4 days/ 3 nights has quite a tight schedule but we saw kind of all highlights in this short time. Can really recommend it.
Great! Cruise was very nice (not great food options for vegans but on the last oriental/more local food night there were tons of options). Hot air balloon was memorable and guide was great.
Talaat was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Egyptian culture and history and very helpful with all things surrounding our trip
I am single and I had this trip which was an amazing trip we learned a lot of information about Egyptian History and our tour guide was Talaat Abdo who was so nice and he made our trip I really enjoyed the trip it was a great chance to see upper Egypt and to be with Talaat we were lucky really to have him as a guide I really highly recommend him
The price was reasonable, and the quality of the room and food was better than expected. The schedule was a bit packed, but I still got to see a lot of great places. Talaat Abdo the guide was nice.
We had great experience with Talaat Abdul. He is very informative, caring and fun. He was amazing. We have great time and enjoy the trip.
Talaat our king! Extremely personable tour guide, was a fantastic experience overall. Very knowledgeable and organized everything so all we had to do was enjoy and bear the heat. Sailing was more like 2 days but the accommodations are 4 days. Food is fantastic pool was a huge bonus. Lots of canopy cover on the upper level
Great time in nile cruise. Guide Mr.Khaled is super friendly and kind. He arranged every sight seeing very nicely and comfortably. Cabin rooms in cruise are also bigger and clean. Food and service is good.
Khalid was very helpful with accessibility services. The schedule was packed yet he accommodate for a lot of our personal needs. He was very straightforward and communicated well which reduce issues and miscommunication. Definitely recommend
We had an amazing time on the Nile cruise! The staff were friendly, the guide Khaled saady was so nice, and the food was delicious, and the tours were well organized. It was a beautiful way to experience Egypt’s history and culture. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Egypt!
Khaled saady’s tour was great!! The cruise was a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. The views were stunning, and the guide was very knowledgeable. I truly enjoyed every moment on board and during the tours. A must-do experience in Egypt!
Tour was well organised and executed seamlessly. Our Guide Michael was superb and well informed and had good knowledge of the monuments and sites. Best thing is he speaks English in Egypt 😂. Abu Simbel, Karnak, Luxor , Valley of Kings worth visiting sites. Evening visit to Kon Ombo in the evening on Nile bank was great experience. One of the highlight other than Abu Simble was cruise on Nile from Edfu to Luxor. Boat was clean, Staff was all smiling and food was great on the cruise. Ours was the last voyage of the boat with present owner. Hot Air Balloon could not be done due to bad whether that is the only miss. Great value of Money. Thanks to Michael for adding wonderful memories.
Great trip for the money. Our guide Mike was quite good and friendly. They did everything that was promissed with a better schedule than what was on the Page.
My wife and I booked 3 night, 4 day cruise from Aswan to Luxor. We really had a great time. Our guide, Michael, was excellent. He arranged everything from pickup until the last day dropping us off at your Luxor hotel. We visited Abu Simbul the next morning starting 4 AM. We also visited other temples along the way. Overall the trip is well-organized, and far exceeded my expectation. I highly recommend this trip.
Boat is good. Arrangements is need improve. Guide speaking half English and half Arabic. Challenge for listening
Talaat is the best guide. He's the best expert in Egyptology. and he helped me very much. We went spectacula places, Temples. It was good also He care about group everytime. Our boat is good also.
Talaat was a great guide 👍 he told us a lot about the history and details of each temples it was really informative and fun! I highly recommend him as a guide. Also he’s a very funny guide so he’ll make your journey more joyful! The tour itself was really nice as well. I have to wake up really early but it was fine. I could sleep in the van

The Guide was realy friendly and we saw many temples and the pyramids along the nile.It was pretty awesome and intristing.
Every day your activities will start very early. Your guide will WhatsApp the itinerary of the day. Ours, Khaled El saady Was very punctual on sending the itineraries the night before, with all the detailed information, The anticipation of what’s Ahead will help to forget that you got up at 4 o’clock in the morning. The temples are amazing. One is greater and more magnificent than the next. The month of October is very crowded because everybody loves to come after the long, hot Summer moms so expect to see a lot of people expect to have people pushing you getting in front of you to take their selfie’s and their photos. Never the less the experience is unforgettable.
