The tour operator Alaa was busy with another group. We were getting different guide in each location. Most of the time there was a miscommunication and people were late. We had to call the tourist police to help us twice. First time when we were given under construction rooms. We couldn’t stay in due to the smell and damage inside and outside. We waited for 5 hours and neither our tour operator nor the cruise did anything to help us. We called the police who came in about 30 minutes and miraculously the cruise manager found other rooms for us. Another time when we were left at night after one of the temples visit waiting for our bus for more than 2 hours. The temple closed and approached us asking why are we still waiting. We said we are waiting for our bus. They contacted our operator who was ignoring us at the beginning and found out that he double booked the bus which was serving other group which caused the delay. So many issues with operations which caused us missing several parts of our trip, including the Luxor temple which I really wanted to visit. Another issue that he couldn’t go with us to Abu Simbel so he told the driver to contact a tour guide when we arrive. That tour guide ignored us for an hour do we decided to find a guide and pay him after consulting with Alaa who said he will pay us back. Took him several days to pay us at the end of the trip. The trip was poorly planned. I would’ve done better job organizing it than what he did. We were clearly neglected despite having older people in our group of 6. I heard that he had several complaints about his lack of professionalism from several people. I suggest to find different operator. I contacted Trip Advisor after my return as I couldn’t communicate with them when I was in Egypt. I requested partial refund but they denied my request saying the tour operator refused to partially refund us. Not surprised that he would do that, but I was surprised that Trip Advisor didn’t do anything to support us especially that we booked the trip through them and we didn’t know anything about that tour operator. It seems they don’t care what we face as long as they receive their money. I won’t use Trip Advisor or their sub company Viator in the future because they don’t support their customers

I lowered down my expectations. The room was small, but with a great view of the Nile. The WiFi (they sold SIM cards) on cruise was not working in Aswan. I had to argue with the reception to get a refund. The tours had several stops at souvenir shops which sold products at insanely higher prices. The guide spoke good English and appeared friendly. However, he repeatedly pushed us to tip and increase the tip for drivers, staff and himself, which made me feel uncomfortable. To be frank, we thought we had tipped the guide decently, in addition to two fancy meals we paid, snacks we shared, and money we gave with unspecified and dubious purposes. His manager displayed an awkward “hospitality,” repeatedly asking us to come over and have tea with him, even if we turned it down. I felt very uncomfortable, and wondered his purpose. Towards the end of the tour, the guide asked us to write a good review on trip advisor, which I was pressurized to agree. That unfortunately didn’t reflect my true view, so I rewrote and left this review.
I booked the 4 days cruise from Aswan to Luxor. The trip was well organised and the tours were phenomenal. The cruise ship was clean and the crew were cheerful and helpful. The only issue was the food, not the best food quality and you pay extra for any drink even water. But seems that all cruise ships have the same issue. Aside from the cruise, the tour guide Ahmed Awad was super helpful and knowledgeable. I would have missed at least half of the tours if he was not helping me. He explained to me the history of different sites and the significance of the architecture of temples. Besides guidance, he helped in negotiating fees for transportation and provided tons of tips and tricks. Oh and the best part was his expertise in photography, he took me a lot of wonderful shots! Overall highly recommended trip. If its your first time in Aswan/Luxor its a must.
This trip was well organized, the accommodation and food was great, and our guide Amr Elzen was excellent. The ship (Solaris 1) was well maintained, had a comfortable deck and a little pool. The food was great (although sometimes the breakfast time was strange, for ex. No breakfast after 8am on the departure day). Our guide, Amr, had everything well under control, was fun and patient and enthusiastic about the great Egyptian history. He was always helpful and flexible and we felt well looked after. The tipping-situation (not with our guide, but with the crew and especially the luggage carriers) was often strange, but also at sight seeing spots. Sometimes it was strange what Travel to Egypt did not include in an included Tour (like the transportation to the Philea temple by boat, which was a 1000 extra Egyptian Pounds). Besides these money issues our family had a wonderful time on this trip and we can highly recommend it to everyone, especially for families.
Excellent tour of the most popular sites from Aswan to Luxor! We got a private tour from our amazing guide Alaa, who took us to see museums, temples, markets and more. He is very knowledgeable with a Masters in Egyptology, explaining each site, many artifacts and answering our questions. He is also very organized, arranging pickups, transfers, hotel and even a 1 day tour of Cairo. All in all fantastic service and superb experience!
I had made reservation with Mr Alaa Eldeen 7 months before coming to Egypt. My trip started with a seemless pickup from Aswan Airport by Mr Alaa, Mr Ahmed the driver and Mr Ashraff. We went to the Nubian village and motorboat ride in the nile river. The next day before checking in the Nile Cruise, we went to the High Dam and Phillae temple. The cruises included all the activities - Abu Simbel excursion, Kom Ombu, Edfu temple (all of these are private tours) and when we arrived luxor - hot air balloon (shared) and private tours to the valley of the kings, hatshepsut temple, luxor and karnak temple. We also arranged a very nice private transfer to Hurghada from luxor with Mr Alaa and the activities in Hurghada which were the submarine, desert safari ATV and yatch to orange bay. The activities there in Hurghada were excellent. Our tour ended with another private transfer by car to Cairo frok Hurghada. All are included excluding tipping and price wise, it is as good as much you pay. It is affordable for a private and custom made itinerary. Mr Alaa, our handler is somebody that you can trust. No sudden price increase or hanky panky business. The only thing you have to watch out for is: 1. Our first driver, Mr Ahmed in Aswan pushed for more tips even though i already gave fair amount of tips for such a short day. 2. Another Mr Ahmed, our Luxor to Hurghada driver, pushed for much more tips than I initially gave, which is quite fair for the work already. However, we also met with nice drivers along the way. 1. Mr Ahmad, our Abu Simbel excursion driver. Thanks for such a good service. He arrived early and we managed to beat the crowd at Abu Simbel. 2. Mr. Muhammad, our Hurghada to Cairo driver is a good man. Thumbs up for such an excellent service. Overall, i would recommend the service by this company. You get a custom itinerary, private tours, transportation and guide at the temples.
Great stay, guide was great. Took me around everywhere. Was nervous about traveling solo but the guide made it a great experience
The trip was amazing, thanks god the weather was good not too hot , the cruise was very clean and luxurious, all the staff was kind and professional. The schedule was very condensed but interesting It was worh to visit the historical monuments specially with mr alae our guide , he explained everything To us . Thank you mr alae for your professionalism, knowledge qnd kindness
This Boat Cruise was definitely one of our highlights in Egypt. Amazing staff. Especially from our friend Hasm Ali. He was very welcoming friendly and did amazing things in our Room. The Food was so delicious. I'm even missing there food as we speak. Just the views from the Nile. BEAUTIFUL. Definitely Recommend if you are thinking of doing this Cruise. 5 🌟 Love from Joe an Liz fm New Zealand
We highly recommend this tour. It’s not too expensive and you can visit the main attraction. Mustafa is a replay good guide and he cares about every needs. He knows a lots of things and speak very good English. The cruise is nice and the bedrooms are clean and Confy. The staff is friendly. A very good economy experience.
It was a great experience especially Mr Ahmed our tour guide who made the trip perfect and smoothly thanks to him and to all his company and for sure i will back again next year ♥️♥️
Viator review ⭐️ I will start with the only thing that earned one star on this trip, our guide. GUIDE AND TOUR Ahmed was knowledgeable, well spoken and his English is excellent. However, there were some questionable decisions made for us during the trip: - on the first day, we should have checked in at the cruise first before going sightseeing. We missed lunch, got the worst rooms and dinner table due to us checking in late - Abu simbel costs extra $120 USD per person, not including tip. This is very high compared to market price $80. Additionally, We were asked to pay for 2 drivers since it was a 3 hour drive to and fro, but only one driver was driving. The other “driver” got in late and went home early. - On the Horse carriage rides to and from edfu temple, we didn’t know we were supposed to tip driver after the return trip. After the first driver took our money and left, the second driver got an extra big tip because he got to carry 2 extra people on the ride. CRUISE Definitely not luxury cruise as claimed.. we felt a little bit cheated. MS royal adventure is 1-star cruise in our opinion— outdated, shabby, and worst of all, extremely poorly maintained. Cleanliness deserves 0 stars. - The bathrooms leak, the sink and shower floods. The toilets are unsanitary and drip water constantly. The shower room does not close. towels are gray from wear and tear. They reuse the cartons and containers for soap and shower gels. The cups look dirty and unwashed. - There are pieces of hair on the beds. The mattresses sink. The carpet floor does not seem to have been vacuumed for many years - the room smells, and there are clicking noises from ventilation throughout the night. The windows barely offer sound blocking - The food served is mediocre at best. Breakfast is worst, not much protein options, too much of bread and cakes, refined carbs and sugar. Dinner is the best meal out of the three but it is served very late. There should have been a separate line for the eggs, everyone has to wait in line for the eggs to cook, while no one can get to the dishes beside the eggs. - Quality of guests is poor. I saw a guest pick up food from the table and throw it back into the food trays. The staff do not help clean up the floors when kids drop food. - Only one key card per room is allowed, not a big deal, but a slight nuisance. No free WiFi - Timing & schedule was not shared beforehand. We had to ask for the schedule each day. Even then, the meeting times were often late or no show and we had to ask again. The boat docks at weird times, the tour schedule is very strange— starting from 5am - 7am sightseeing, then nothing all the way until late evening 7pm - 9pm, sometimes we had to rush at the evening tour or miss it entirely because sites already closed when we arrived. Mealtimes are very late, not a set time everyday and doesn’t work around our schedule. breakfast is 7am or 8am, lunch 1pm or 1:30pm, dinner 8pm
Overall a very varied trip with lots of fascinating site visits rich of history but also enough time in between to relax. The ship "Prince Omar" was cozy and the staff very friendly and helpful. Sadly there weren't any shows during the cruise. Luckily my tour guide Karam was there to make our stay even more comfortable and interesting with his knowledge about all the places. I also enjoyed some deep conversations with him.
Embarking on the Egypt Royal Adventure cruise was an extraordinary journey, immersing me in the captivating history of ancient Egypt, extending from the grandeur of the High Dam to the nuances of the Low Dam. The entire experience was elevated by an exceptional crew, encompassing dedicated staff members and the talented Head Chef, Mr. Hijazi. A highlight of the expedition was our insightful tour guided by the knowledgeable Mr. Alaa. His expertise not only enriched my understanding of ancient Egyptian times but also brought to life the significant man-made history along the dams. The trip was not merely a sightseeing venture; it was a truly wonderful and engaging experience on multiple fronts. The meticulous attention of the staff, coupled with the culinary delights crafted by Mr. Hijazi, added a delightful touch to the journey. Every aspect of the cruise, from the historical narratives to the delectable meals, contributed to an enriching and enjoyable adventure. As a result of this immersive experience, my appreciation and love for Egyptian history have expanded significantly. The journey fostered a deep fondness for the rich cultural tapestry that Egypt holds. The Egypt Royal Adventure cruise stands as a testament to the seamless blend of history, hospitality, and culinary excellence, making it a memorable and rewarding exploration.
I don't even know where to begin, this was the BEST family trip we have ever had. It was 6 yr's since our last trip, with 4 children aged 17 to 3, and it was honestly the most incredible experience we have had which was on a budget and allowed us to experience so much for a great price. I need to mention the professionalism of the staff, from our tour guide Alaa to the ships kitchen staff lead by Chef Hejazi, this was a 5 star team who went the extra mile everyday to ensure our 8 people group had the best experience possible. The boat trip from Aswan to Luxor was spectacular, incredible scenery and such a calm and enjoyable trip. The staff was great. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was amazing each day. Honestly my family felt like they were at home with their family each time. Hassan was so nice, my 3 yrs old looked for him everyday. Chef Hijazi is seriously a five star executive chef, everything we ate was brilliant. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. In fact, we wish he was there everywhere else we went, the food was that good. The trip was incredible, each day we had incredible tours. Mr. Alaa's knowledge of Ancient Egyptian history is second to none. Alaa is the one and only person I would recommend anyone to tour Egypt with. His explanation, story telling, touring agenda and thoughtfulness for his tour group was extremely impressive. In between each day we visited incredible spice, tea, cloths and perfume stores, he knew exactly where to find anything we wanted to purchase. His English is perfect and he was able to explain each and every aspect of the temples, ancient Egyptian religion and belief to all members of my family perfectly. We honestly learnt so much I can never thank him enough. Each day felt like it ran smoothly without any issues, but I know Alaa worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to make sure it was smooth. Honestly we did not want our trip to end. We could have gone up and down the Nile for weeks surrounded by incredible people and nature. It was a blessing and perfect trip. We loved this trip, and we love the people we met.
We took a cruise with Karam as our guide and it was outstanding! First off, the boat was such a unique and luxurious experience. The staff were so kind and friendly, the food was delicious and the room was much nicer than we expected. The bathrooms looked brand new and those hot showers were so welcome at the end of the day. We were even greeted with adorable towel sculptures on our beds each day! Our boat, the Magic Nile, had only 8 cabins which was definitely the way to go over a larger one. There was only one other couple on board with us during the trip and we felt very well taken care of. Relaxing on the upper deck while floating down the Nile was such a lovely way to unwind and we loved seeing the Egyptian landscape along the way. Karam was the best tour guide we have ever had anywhere around the world. We communicated in advance via WhatsApp and he was always helpful and on time with a smile on his face. His English is great but his passion and genuine care for us was even better. It can be intimidating to be in a foreign country when you don't understand the language or culture, but we always felt extremely well taken care of and by the end of the trip Karam was part of our family! The pace was perfect and he frequently checked in with us to make sure we were doing okay. He answered our millions and millions of questions with patience and grace, and what he didn't know he looked up and reported back to us the next day. We enjoyed spending "Egyptian Nights" with him chatting and laughing over coffee for hours about cultural differences and slang and getting to know more about him as well. We loved all of the small details and rich history he shared about each location -- it was obvious he loves what he does and is very proud of his country's history! Towards the end our mom got sick and he went out of his way to check on her, bring her bananas, get her medicine, and even brought her flowers to cheer her up! (We're still working on her to sign that "contract" for you Karam haha!) We 1000% recommend Karam, you will have the best time! Otherwise - would not recommend this for elderly or very small children as there was a bit of climbing out over the roofs/decks of other boats at some ports to get on/off the boat, so you should be somewhat mobile to enjoy. Be sure to have a bunch of extra pounds on hand for tipping drivers etc., as well as USD if you do any of the extra add-on tours. Dendara was a wonderful addition!
A nice relaxing cruise along the Nile River, dotted with ancient temples and green farmland. The room on board was comfortable, the food was good, and the staff & crew were wonderful. However, the trips at our stops Kom Ombo & Edfu were very rushed. It was worst for Edfu as we ended up spending less than 30 minutes at the temple and we felt short-changed after paying EGP300 for the entrance fee.
Overall we had a nice time on our Nile Cruise. The boat was comfortable, the staff were very kind and the food was amazing! Our tour guide for the trip, Alladine, was very knowledgeable. Keep in mind that you do have to pay for entry at all the sights which is not included but they do add up. Also the optional extra tours we felt were extremely overpriced and often didn’t include entry prices either - which is fine but they were not very transparent about this. I would recommend getting in writing what is included in each tour before purchasing. Don’t let this deter you though, the cruise is still an iconic activity - just keep in mind that this is the nature of the tourism industry in Egypt. Thank you again for having us
Overall my experience is good with the tour guide Alaaedine Elfashny. He is helpful and on time and friendly and responsible. For the cruise , my first glance the cruise looks a little bit old , but everything functions very well. During my stay 4D 3N , I found staff there are friendly and funny , making me laugh all the time. Overall this is a very good experience for me : >
Of our 10-day trip in Egypt, our Nile River cruise was definitely a highlight! Our tour guide, Karem, was waiting for us at Aswan airport and immediately, our sightseeing began. He was our guide throughout the tour and communicated with me via WhatsApp throughout and even before we left the US. Most days, we were up early for sightseeing, but that was OK, as we were still adjusting to the time change and naturally waking up quite early. Karem kept us ahead of the crowds and was very knowledeable about the sites and history. We hit ALL of the sites included and purchased the Abu Simbel add-on as a shared trip. I was not told ahead of time that I'd need to pay in USD for the add-on. Fortunately, I keep some emergency cash on hand. Be sure to confirm the method of payment for add-ons and plan accordingly ahead of time. As for the shared trip, we were expecting a van, but instead, were in a sedan with another American couple for the 3 hours each way. There was also no guide included, which we later learned was an error on the travel agency's part. Either way, it was amazing to see, but recommend asking for a van or go private and ensure there's a guide included. Be prepared to bring plenty of egyptian pounds with you for tipping. Karem was great about providing tip recommendations throughout our trip. Food is included on the cruise, but all drinks, including water (about $2 USD for each large bottle), will be charged to your room. You'll settle up on the day of your final night's stay via cash or credit card and then continue to pay for any drinks by cash after that. Wait to tip the boat crew until the end of the cruise. You'll leave the tip with the front desk attendant. Also, be sure to retrieve your passport if they held on to it. I believe they need it in the beginning to take a photo copy, but after that, you can request it back. We were on the Opera Nile Cruise ship. The food was OK, not great. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet the most. They sat us with other English-speaking guests, which was wonderful, as we made friends with 2 women from Australia. I'm normally a wine or gin and tonic drinker, but there was no tonic, so I mostly drank gin and club soda. For beer, there was only Stella. For a mostly dry country, the alcohol was much appreciated. It was 100+ degrees farenheit during our time on the cruise, so I very much enjoyed the roof top pool. Otherwise, our room's AC worked great. The bathroom and shower, though a bit outdated, were just fine for our needs. On our last day in Luxor, Karem recommended lunch at a place called El Hussein, which for the equivalent of $11 USD per person, included 3 courses. It was one of the best meals we had in Egypt. The only thing I wish we would've known ahead of time was that you cannot enter the Luxor airport more than 2 hours before your flight time. Our flight was pushed back and we ended up having 4 hours to kill before we could enter the airport. The only place to wait is an outdoor "cafeteria." It had been 100+ degrees, so we were stuck outside waiting. Be sure to have a plan if your flight is late afternoon or evening. Finally, there are times during the trip where you'll be in some tourist trap situations. They'll try to sell you oil, spices, and pottery items after treating you to a cold or hot beverage. You can say, "no," or ask to skip those stops all together. We ended up buying oil and likely spending way more money than they were worth. We learned our lesson after that. In summary, this Nile cruise offers an excellent deal for exploring Egypt's treasures with a knowledgeable guide. Karem's guidance made our trip extra special. Don't miss the chance to embark on this unforgettable journey.
Thank you to our guide, Gad Ali, a fan of Egypt and his story. We discovered many things thanks to him. He facilitated our stay on and off the boat during the visit. I truly recommend him.
What made our experience wonderful was the staff plus a guide. The boat was clean ( even though certain bathrooms should be renovated) the food was good. Visits , on the other hands, not enjoyable. At each visit there were many, many ships ( sometimes 10/11) at the same sites. Normally that caused an enormous crowd. Plus we had 50 min or an hour for a guided tour. We were rushed from one point of the temple to the other. And we so much noise and watching where to go it was not a pleasant experience. On the other hand the tour we had the first day when our guide Karram ( sorry if I misspelled it) picked us up was more relaxed, thorough and enjoyable. Overall, sailing on the Nile was wonderful , but tours not really.
I arrived in Aswan at around 10AM Wednesday and immediately explored Aswan, including the Aswan Dam, and the Philae Temple, and the Nubian villages along the Nile. The following Day I woke up early to travel to Abu Simbel by car for a rly exciting visit there before the cruise left that afternoon. We arrived at Kom Ombo that night and continued the third day to Edfu. There was a lot of night life on the cruise, and it was really fun to spend time with the others with me who were close to my age. The final day I spent in Luxor. From the monuments to an incredible hot air balloon ride, everything was amazing and I had a few stops at some shops along the way as well. Abu Simbel, hot air balloon, and tickets aren’t included but everything is worth it!
We enjoyed our cruise on the Royal Viking very much. Rooms were nice, service was great, food was great. Wifi not included. Beautiful scenery as we cruised the Nile. Our tour guide Karam was extremely helpful and attentive, we felt we were in good hands. he really went out of his way to keep our kids (10, 13, and 15) happy - not always easy. We learned a lot as we toured the temples and tombs- incredible! Guests should be aware that there are a lot of extra costs. Each temple/tomb entrance ranged from 300-1000 Egyptian pounds for our family of 5, and anyone that helps you in any way expects a tip - don’t do what we did though and tip the waiters on the boat! You’re supposed to leave a generous tip at the end for the whole boat. And one does feel pressure to do the extra trips, and lots of pressure to buy from every shop you pass. Morning tours are early and fast paced, so a bit exhausting but this is Egypt! You have to see all you can. Also FYI Trying to Enter Edfu temple there were so many tourists at one time the crowd crush got quite scary.
This was such a wonderful experience and I am so glad i made it part of my trip to Egypt. The boat was a nice and a very relaxing way to travel down the Nile while visiting a lot of interesting sites along the way. The crew on board was amazing and helpful and kept my room clean and my stomach full! I also booked with a private guide, Karam, who was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and I learned so much about the history and culture from him. He was helpful and quick to solve any problems that came up. He also was so welcoming and stopped with me to get Egyptian coffee, some local fruit, and anything else I needed along the way. Although some of the sites were crowded with other cruise passengers, he was knowledgeable about how best to navigate and get through the crowds and I know that is something that I wouldn't have been able to accomplish on my own. If you're thinking of booking a cruise and guide, don't miss this one!
We booked the cruise from Luxor to Aswan and everything exceeded our expectations. We went for spanish guides and throughout the trip the guides were very knowledgeable and spoke good Spanish. We learned a lot during our trip and everyone was very nice and made our experience better, including the drivers! The cruise was also nice, comfortable nice room and good food- amazing value for price. We ran into an issue with one of our tours and Aladdin was very efficient, swiftly found a solution which was suitable for us and made sure we were taken care properly afterwards. It’s noticeable that the whole team care about their customers and they’re honest people, which is very valuable! Would recommend to anyone traveling to Egypt. Shukran!!
Great expierence. Private tours let you go where ever you want, instead of being stuck with a tour group. Karam and Marwa were especially helpful guides.
The tour guide was nothing but helpful and went the extra mile just to make me feel comfortable, he definitely made the experience better, in general, everybody from the agency was great. The cruise itself was good and meals were provided, the only problem was leaving the cruise since there were always people trying to sell you things but it's the same everywhere. There were some minor issues with some people from the cruise but it wasn't much tho. Be aware that extra cost for entries/transport can make the experience more expensive than you expect but still a good price/quality relationship.
Our tour guide Ayman was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! He was the highlight of our trip. The staff on the boat were so kind and attentive. The experience seeing the views from the Nile was incredible. Excellent service and tours, you will never forget the sights you get to see- there are a lot of them! Thanks Alaadine for your help with this cruise!
Osama was a fantastic tour guide! We had a great time exploring Aswan and Luxor. We never had to worry about anything and Osama always gave us the heads up on where to get good deals. His knowledge of Egypt is expansive and he is able to answer any questions you might have.
Osama was an amazing tour guide—he was flexible and gave us just the right amount of information. He also gave us the ‘inside scoop’ of which vendors to work with/avoid, how to interact in the country, etc. Even being relative expert travelers and having lived in the Middle East for over two years, an expert tour guide, driver, and Egyptologist is necessary here (much like other places such as China) in order to navigate best. Highly recommend taking the cruise from Aswan to Luxor (instead of backwards), lest risk it being anticlimactic. Prepare for 1.5 days in Aswan, then begin sailing, short stops on Kom Ombo and Edfu, then another 1.5 days in Luxor. You can easily extend the trip yourself.
Our Nile cruise was our favorite part of our whole trip to Egypt! We loved cruising down the Nile, taking in the natural beauty of the area. The many opportunities for sights and activities are plentiful, while the MS Princess Sarah II boat was comfortable and welcoming. But the best, by far, was our guide Roshdy. He made this trip unforgettable for our family. We came away feeling like we have a new Egyptian family member. The only thing that could've made it better was if we'd spent a few more days on the river, getting to soak up more of the views as well as not having to get up so early every day for tours.
Our Guide Osama made the trip what it was! We nearly got the main guide Ale who was abrupt and we found rude calling both the English couple and us Americans repeatedly without even asking where we were from. He just spoke never listened like on autopilot. OSAMA WAS THE LEGEND I can’t rave about this man enough. He was knowledgeable helpful kind and welcoming along with great banter and heaps of tips. The boat was great with great food however people who don’t even really help you are constantly out for tips ( we tip well if you actually served us) unfortunately after we personally tipped the people we wanted to a lot of the boats service just nose dived with dirty looks. A special shout to yussef the waiter who made us feel welcome and help us with everything.
Osama, our guide was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and kept the tour fun. The boat was fine and as expected for the price.
Gabriel was a very informative and kind tour guide. He made sure we accommodated and safe. Gabriel is knowledgeable about the history of Egypt and the local scene. We enjoyed having him as our guide. The website on which we booked the tour, however, showed a different boat than the one we ended up taking. Also some of the tours were labeled as “free admission” but this was incorrect. Other than that, we had a good time.
I am a professional travel agent from the USA. I am looking to expand overseas once COVID restrictions are lifted. I previewed this tour company based on it's excellent reviews and trustworthiness. Unbeknownst to them, I travelled as an "American for the 1st time in Egypt". I was certainly impressed. We had exhausting travel circumstances and our guide, Nermien, was a champ. She was in contact with us 24 hrs prior to our arrival. We made plans for the following day which did not come to fruition. The train from Cairo to Aswan was over 3 hours late. She kept in touch via WhatsApp from 7am till we met at 1pm. Scheduled train arrival was 09:30. She worked everything out around our late arrival schedule and we were able to havea great afternoon in Aswan. She, was very eager to book other tours for me, either local or distant. Prices arefair and competitive but with 4 days of traveland only 2 nights sleep, I passed on additionalbookings in Aswan. I will be using them for additional bookings included with our cruise down the Nile and will review them separately in a few days. This company is no joke. We had a booking mistake which was my fault and I lost my non refundable fare. After contacting them the same day, they honored my reservation for this trip and rebooked me at my convenience. Who does that anymore? Excellent service. Professional, hometown guides. I give them 5 out of 5. And again, special thank you to Nermien. P.S. Please use WhatsApp when travelling abroad. This is the best, free and instant way to chat or leave a voice message anywhere in the World while travelling. It works in and out of the USA.
Wonderful tour - fantastic guide (Barry the Great), excellent boat (Royal Adventure) and crew and the sights throughout are simply amazing. You will see and learn a lot in four days but there is also plenty of time to relax on the boat. If this is your first time in Egypt you may find the additional visits to craft shops and offer of additional tours a little tiresome, but this is normal and there is no requirement to buy anything extra.
Alaadeine was very kind, friendly, and informative throughout the entire tour. He made sure to answer any of our questions and made us feel welcome. He was very insightful and passionate about the topics he discussed. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great, professional and informed guide who will make your stay in Egypt a pleasant one.
We were booked on MS Sapphire for the nile cruise and assigned Mr. Beshoy Anton as our guide. Beshoy is very knowledgeable about Egyptian culture and was very patient. The staff on was wonderful and the ship is well maintained. Private transportation was arranged for all visits. Overall had a great experience! PS: Don't miss Abu Simbel and Valley of the Queens which are optional tours!
I never knew I could learn so much history in such a short amount of time. From Abu Simbel to Luxor, we experienced a thorough timeline of Ancient Egyptian history. Our guide, Barry, made sure that we left with a new understanding and appreciation of ancient and modern Egyptian culture. He was very informative and we left feeling like family. Barry and Travel Egypt consistently made sure our trip was smooth sailing - literally! Every step of the way, they made sure we were getting the best experience possible.
Great trip… Beshoy Anton our guide was brilliant, very knowledgeable and passionate and explained everything. We had with Beshoy great time visiting all the sites.
Great value for money! The cruise had amazing food and very friendly staff. Our tour guide Aladin was very patient and informative.
This trip is life changing, we visited the Philae and Abu Simbel temple with our tour guide Erini, who was very passionate in talking about the ancient Egyptian history. We didn't feel like it was scripted or a history class, but instead we found ourselves deeply immersed and very interested in the stories, we really loved her tours. Aladin was very professional as well, he was an awesome tour guide and he helped us organizing everything with the booking of the cruise, hot balloon, all temples, transportation to hurghada and more. The cruise was very relaxing and nice, also very fancy for the price.
Absolutely phenomenal journey with some of the most magnificent tour guides. Nothing compares to sailing on a 5* cruise with the tastiest food and some of the best views around. The tour guide was super organised and very informative from day one. Furthermore his knowledge of the local history is unparalleled. Very easy to communicate with and super quick when responsive. Highly recommend his and his companies services. Thank you my friend for everything.
Luxor and Aswan with Travel to Egypt. Me and my sister booked this trip with Travel to Egypt agency and they totally made our stay by all means, they arranged a surprise party for my sister's birthday, the thing that turned me on and made us feel special. Travel to Egypt representives were super professional, they provided us anticipatory professional service which made our experience unique and unforgettable Exceeding all of our expectations. We enjoyed all the itinerary items in both cities including visiting Philea temple, Abu Alhwa mountain, Aswan botanical garden, Al Nouba museum, visiting the nubian traditional houses, Luxor temple, Karnak temple, Hatshbsut temple, valley of the kings. Thanks a million for those guys specially Alaa the amazing confident tour guide, Mahmoud Elfshny and Mahmoud Elsonny. We highly recommend this agency for visitors who look for a personalized genuine service with memorable moments.
We had a very nice experience with our tour guide Dod from the beginning and she is perfect in her job.
We had a very nice experience right from the beginning at the railway station. All the site seeing trips were excellent and well planned. Our tour guide @dod arranged a very special commute each time and she looks well trained in her job .
Raymond is very good English speaking Guide. He can easily change his interactive mode to deal with my 2 kids with Ancient Egypt knowledge from School. His questions make them quite active during the whole trip and of course I can enjoy a period of peaceful time. :)
We had a wonderful Nile Cruise that was enjoyed by the whole family! Our guide, Raymon, was absolutely fantastic! His English was wonderful, and his knowledge of the history and sites was excellent. He was very patient with us, as we have 6 young children, and made the history fun for our kids by having them do role plays to a g out the history. When I first booked this cruise, I will admit the I was a little concerned since I was not entirely sure how the itinerary would go. Things went better than I could have imagined. We were very impressed by the company. The boat had great food (even out picky eaters found things in the buffet), nightly entertainment and a pool on top. All the crew went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The most difficult thing was all of the early mornings- which was due to the heat and time of year we visited. We also met one of the owners of the travel booking, and he was nice and wanted to know what feedback we had for him and if there was anything that could have improved our experience. This personal touch was wonderful and showed us just how sincere and great this company is! I highly recommend booking your tour here and requesting Raymon as your guide! He has done tours for 19 years. You will not be disappointed!
The guide Mohamed is a very well-prepared person, and it shows that he is passionate about the history of Egypt. He explained each of the temples visited in great detail, just as he clarified the doubts that arose. We felt very fortunate to have Mohamed as our guide for four days. He was always attentive to explaining the day's program and had a good attitude. He also explained things about Egyptian culture to us that we, as tourists, didn't see at first glance. We highly recommend the guide Mohamed.
