We had an amazing experience on this tour! Even as French speakers, Michael’s explanations were always very clear and easy to understand. He shared so many interesting stories and anecdotes along the way, which made every visit both fun and enjoyable. Michael always took the time to repeat the most important information, which we really appreciated since English is not our native language. He made sure that everyone understood everything and that everyone in the group felt comfortable throughout the whole trip. A special mention also goes to our drivers, Hani in Aswan and Abu Dieb in Luxor, who were both absolutely perfect. They were professional, reliable and made all our transfers smooth and comfortable throughout the trip. The group was also absolutely lovely, and these four days were such a great experience from beginning to end! The only disappointment was that the hot air balloon ride had to be cancelled due to the weather, but of course, that was completely out of their control. Thank you so much, Michael, for the warm welcome, your kindness, and for sharing all your knowledge with us. And thank you to Hani and Abu Dieb for taking such good care of us. You all helped make this trip truly memorable!

Michael our guide told us great story’s about the temples and kings of Egypt. He made it very interesting and entertaining to listen to. Also we felt very safe and cared for. Also the drivers Magdy And Henny Aswan and Fox, Abu Diab Luxor. Were always on time. Thank you for taking care of us.
The ship was sold as a 5 star cruise, but it was a 2 star at best. The floor in the room was dirty. the shower door was old and broken. No one cleaned the room or emptied the trash after 4 days. The communication for pick up was never accurate and the guides were not licensed accept on one tour. The only positive was the staff in the restaurant were positive. Everyone we met was very unhappy with the quality of the company. Very disappointed in Viator. Would not recommend
We spent our honeymoon on a 4-day cruise and were treated like royalty from start to finish. The cabin offered breathtaking Nile views, especially at sunset, and the private guided tours made every stop feel personal. Every detail, from dining to excursions, was handled perfectly. A dream trip for couples looking for luxury and romance.
Our family of four sailed aboard Coral 2 Cruise Boat, and it was the perfect balance of fun and learning. The itinerary was thoughtfully paced, and the kids loved exploring the temples and relaxing on deck. The crew went above and beyond to make everything easy and enjoyable. Highlights included Abu Simbel, the Valley of the Kings, and delicious onboard meals. A wonderful choice for families who want culture without long, tiring drives.
We have just completed our 4 day/3 night Nile cruise, booked through Go tours on Viator. Mohamed at the travel agency was excellent & also arranged our tour in Cairo and our onward travel to Hurghada. We would not hesitate in recommending this agency. Our boat was the Nile Shama and although a little tired, we had an excellent cabin, the food was surprisingly good and the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Also the price of alcohol & drinks were very reasonable. We were also extremely fortunate in having Talaat Abdo as our guide for the entire trip. From the minute we met him, he could not have been more helpful & he always delivered what he promised. His English, knowledge of the sites and Egyptian history was excellent, brought to life by a good sense of humour. We saw lots of other guides who were not of the same standard, so appreciated how lucky we were. Overall it was a very tiring but fantastic experience where we saw some of the best temples & tombs in Egypt during a very short period, including a fantastic hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings. If you can, ask for Talaat to be your guide, you will not be disappointed.
Talaat Abdo Is a great guide who can explain very well. He is full of energy and motivating. We can see that he is passionate about his work. Thank you very much !!!
Talaat Abdo, was a great guide during our cruise. He is very knowledgeable about his subject and the history of his country in general. He managed to captivate our attention in all the places and temples we visited. He is also funny and that is really a plus. Thanks to him, I recommend him.
Talaat was very helpful, knowledgeable and kind. He gave us tips on what to avoid, what to go for and provided a stress free experience. Would highly recommend his services
Talaat Abdo I loved doing the tour with Talaat, he has a lot of knowledge about the history of Egypt, he’s very passionate and patient with all of us! I like how he communicates very well and Clear. He kept in touch with me the entire time, I always knew what we were going to do next. Thank you Talaat for sharing with us all you knowledgeable! I truly appreciate it 😊
Micheal gives context about the sites and information is really nice. Some of the stories are quite engaging. Safety wise there was no issue. Though sometimes he is extremely curt bordering on rude. If you do end up booking the trip with him he is going to ask: 1) For additional 25USD for tips for the cruise staff (not including his tip and this will not be optional). 2) An optional lunch on the last day for 15 USD. Skip the lunch. The quality of the food is average and not worth the price. Especially because the local food is actually quite nice and not expensive.
The Nile cruise was an incredible journey filled with breathtaking scenery, fascinating ancient temples, and relaxing moments on the deck. Our guide Mr.Khaled was knowledgeable and made the history come alive at every stop, from Luxor to Aswan. The staff onboard were friendly, the food was delicious, and the cabins were comfortable. We enjoyed sunsets over the Nile and took countless photos of the stunning views. It was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. What made this trip even more special was sharing it with amazing fellow travelers from Australia, Pakistan, Switzerland, Colombia, England, Greek and India. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Egypt!
First and foremost, the overall experience was absolutely amazing! The cruise was beautifully organized, providing stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere throughout the journey. Secondly, the food was exceptional. Each meal was delectable and showcased a variety of flavors that catered to all tastes. It truly enhanced our experience onboard. Lastly, our tour guide Khaled Alsaadi was outstanding. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion for the locations we visited made the tour not only informative but also enjoyable. He went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had a memorable experience. Thank you for a wonderful cruise tour! I will definitely recommend your services to friends and family.
We had a wonderful 3 days. The cruise was beautiful, the food had so much variety and rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. Our excursions were also very well planned. Our guide Michael explained everything really well. We even got to take a dip near the shore of the Nile near Nubian village which will be a core memory! I totally recommend booking this for your Nile cruise.
Fantastic tour guide. Unconventional and exciting! Knowledgeable and took us for for local sugar cane juice which we got to squeeze our ourselves followed by a city horse carriage tour.
We had a great time on the Nile, our guide Talaat was very helpful and friendly and showed us all the secrets of the sites we visited.
This cruise was amazing. And Michael was the very best guide ever. So incredibly knowledgeable and fun. We didn’t have to worry about anything, Michael took care of it all. The cruise was very enjoyable ( maybe small negative was the small shower, but it is a boat). The excursions to the dam and Abu Simbel and the temples ( Karnak was awesome) and the valley of the Kings tombs were beyond fantastic. Again thanks to Michael. The staff on the cruise were extremely friendly. This adventure was well worth it and I would highly recommend it.
I have just returned from the trip of a lifetime! If you are hesitant to travel to Egypt and participate in a surprisingly afforable Nile cruise, you could not be in better hands than with independent guide, Michael! The 3 other youngish, older women I traveled with and I all had some trepidation about how this would go, as we had planned a whirlwind, week-long journey to this birthplace of civilization. We were primarily worried that we would get sick from early morning starts and waterborne illness, but we have all returned in one piece, albeit a little sore from spending our last day descending and ascending into and out of tombs at The Valley of the Kings. We spent 2 days in Cairo before flying to Aswan to join Michael and our new, international, tour family of about 30 people. We were picked up at the airport and brought to the Princess Dunil (Radamis Floating Hotels), which would be our homebase for the next few days. The boat is admittedly a bit worn, but the staff was incredibly warm and accommodating. We were relieved to learn that the fresh produce was safe for us to eat, having been washed in filtered water. Iced drinks were safe as well. There were plenty of choices in the buffet, which I found the most interesting on our last night, when Egyptian cuisine was featured. From the start, Michael did everything he could to make our experience as enjoyable as possible, including collecting money ahead of time for all admissions (via any currancy or MC/Visa), as well as for the "baksheesh" (tipping) for the crew, drivers, etc. This made our excursions so much more efficient, which was key, as we covered a LOT in just a few days. Michael is knowledgeable and passionate about Egypt and it's history. He often provided context either before or during our journey to each site, and once we arrived, he highlighted the history and features of the site before giving us time to explore on our own. I kept my eyes glued to the stuffed camel, "Habibi," that was at the end of his retractable pole, as I didn't want to miss a word! Michael was also incredibly patient with managing our group, which must have felt like herding cats at times! He handed "Habibi" to me once while buying the tickets at a site, and I happily gave up that resonsibilty when he returned! In addition, Michael provided valuable guidance for navigating unique experiences, such as the vendors in rowboats at the Esna lock, who threw wares to the deck. It was indeed fun to watch! Those of us who had signed up for the early morning balloon ride in Luxor were disappointed when it was cancelled due to a forecasted sand storm, but we enjoyed a more leisurely morning and final breakfast on the boat before our last day of excursions. We were grateful for the extra energy, as at Michael's recommendation, we added a visit to Seti I's tomb. It has the highest admission of any site in Egypt ($40 USD), but is the longest and largest tomb in The Valley of the Kings, as well as the most stunningly and colorfully decorated. We were also grateful that we took his advice to not visit it first, as the other tombs we visited with our general admission ticket, despite being amazing in their own right, paled in comparison. At the end of our tour of sites in Luxor, Michael arranged for us to have lunch together at a local restaurant, which was not included, but he also coordinated the ordering and payment for that inexpensive ($15 USD) and delicious feast! Somehow, he also managed to keep straight each party's respective transition from the boat and arranged for connecting transportation, even accommodating last minute changes for some members of the group. Our only regret about visiting Egypt is that we didn't have more time to visit other cities, such as Alexandria, or to spend more time in both Cairo and Luxor. I would also have liked to experience more local culture, as well as to see more sites. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience, and I'm grateful to Michael for guiding our journey!
My friends and I went on this cruise as part of our trip to Egypt to celebrate a 60th birthday. We came away from it wishing we had more time to explore this country whose history is the history of human civilization. First, the boat: for how inexpensive it was, I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff all go out of their way to accommodate guests' needs and wants. The food was wonderful with something for everyone- I can be a picky eater, and there were new things for me to try but plenty for me to fill up on (or overfill!)at every meal. The rooms were clean and bigger than I expected with a view of the Nile. The cleaning staff were attentive and made very creative towel creatures! The top of the boat had a pool area and a shaded area with tables for tea, etc. The pool area could have used more shade, as this was where we often got to interact with other guests and the heat sometimes drove me downstairs. We met fantastic people from all over the world and there was a real sense of community, especially among the 30 or so of us on the tour, which brings me to the tour: Our tour guide, Michael, was masterful! His knowledge of Egypt's history was mind-blowing. Transportation to the temples, tombs, etc was always on time, comfortable and cool. He streamlined everything in terms of tips and tickets so all we had to to was follow him, he did the rest. Michael ushered us thru the Egyptian world with practical tips, dos and donts, and plenty of humor. Words and even pictures can not describe the things we saw along the Nile. Other countries may have stolen a lot from Egypt, but you won't find anything like the temples, monuments, and tombs we saw in any museum. And having an egyptologist like Michael tell all the stories of the past while you are there paints a picture and puts you right in the middle of history. I would say we were lucky to have had such a great guide, but we had other wonderful guides in Egypt- the reviews here of bad guides are definitely the exception, not the rule. A final note: we saw very few other americans there, so to my fellow Americans: if you are hesitating out of fear, you are missing out on an experience you can get nowhere else. I have been all over the world and can tell you Egypt felt as safe as any place I've been. The people will welcome you warmly and are eager to share their history and culture with you,
The trip and cruise itself was great. Nothing to complaint about it. Beautiful landscapes and friendly staffs. But we had an inpleasant experience with our guide. He sat next to me and forced me to write a 5 star review even before the last day of the tour, and didn’t release me until I write. There fire I wrote another review with - 2 stars for this experience.
This is a very comprehensive tour for just 4 days. So many gorgeous temples, local stops and the boat had a great old world charm. Talaat, our guide, was very knowledgeable and provided up to date information about the tight schedule. Would recommend adding the hot air balloon, what an amazing experience.
Great tour by Khaled El saady ! We really enjoyed his explanations, and he was very helpful when navigating Luxor. Highly recommend him as your guide! Also Mina in Aswan was extremely helpful. They were two people who made our trip much much better.
This was a really enjoyable trip. The boat was great, with comfortable cabins. View from the cabin was excellent. Lovely sitting up on the top deck. Food was great with lots of choice. Trips well organised, generally receiving a WhatsApp message from the guide but sometimes this fell down and we weren’t sure where we needed to be. Guide quality varied, some were excellent, particularly Abdullah. Kom Ombo and Edfu were extremely busy as everyone arrives together but we were prepared. Didn’t like to use the horse carriages to Edfu as concerns for animal welfare. Pleased to see Brooke Charity working there. Unfortunately witnessed a horrible accident. Recommend the trip to Abu Simbel which is amazing. Didn’t do the balloon ride but easily added this on as a separate trip at Luxor
I loved this experience! The boat itself was solid...definitely not the fanciest and definitely not in bad condition either. Beds were cozy and each room had a slider that opened to the Nile with newer beach chairs on the top deck. It was a good fit for my needs and budget and I found something I liked in the .buffet at every meal
Unfortunately our overall experience was poor. Let me give you an overview - there are a LOT of cruise ships with many of them on the same itinerary. This means the temples are very crowded when you visit them. At Abu Simbel there was almost no space to walk - the cruise is on a tight schedule which means you have little time at the temples when you visit them. We felt rushed at multiple of them - the meals were fine with a lot of choices but often a bit dry or without much taste… - the price for the enterance fees and tipping on top of the cruise is quite a lot in our opinion. Also, you get a guide with a small group and tipping for this person is not included. We ended up giving him quite an amount of money because we were with multiple, had 4 days and he was asking/mentioning the tip quite a lot. We did not feel comfortable with the amount we gave but felt like we had to. - You are given a group with the cruise which is quite nice to get to know a few people. Would be nice to know in advance.
This 4-day Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor was a journey of pure enchantment. From the moment we boarded the luxurious cruise ship to the farewell wave goodbye, the experience was nothing short of magical.
It was impossible to know the difference beetween the different cruiseoptions shown at your website to make a booking we for sure knew would fit us, it felt like a blind buy. We would have liked to know the standard of the cruiseship and the rooms and the connecting facilities in advance. The staff of the cruiseship M/S Nile Jewel was very serviceminded and we received the support needed. We would have liked to recieve a detailed programme in advance. The booking details did not show the programme. We like that it was different guides, the guides had different skills and it was nice to get different perspectives. We would have liked a better communication beetween viator, the local operator and the guides and us to avoid misunderstandings.
The itinerary was thoughtfully curated, starting with the serene beauty of Aswan, where we explored the Philae Temple and the Unfinished Obelisk. The cruise then ventured to the highlight of the journey – Abu Simbel. Witnessing the colossal statues and intricate carvings was a surreal experience, and the early morning visit added an enchanting touch.
Absolutely Fantastic Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My recent trip arranged through this platform was nothing short of amazing! From seamless booking to a memorable journey, it exceeded all expectations. The accommodation was top-notch, the local guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and the itinerary was thoughtfully crafted. It's clear why this platform is a go-to for travelers worldwide. Highly recommended
Very nice trip Thank you very much for everything , everything was perfect and i hope to back again
The views were beautiful, the ambiance was very nice, and the staff was excellent serving the guests
Profssional guide & staff was supportive and lovely, food is special. اقامة متميزه ستتكرر اكيد في اقرب فرصة وانصح به الجميع
I loved the experience, the cruise is super comfortable and the food is great. Our guide Talaat è super kind and very intelligent, knows everything about the temples, and the history of Egypt was told in the smallest detail. Ah... I loved it too because on the cruise we have laundry.
Talaat Abdo is our guide for this cruise 🚢 tour. From the airport pick-up, we felt his enthusiasm and professionalism. Through his professional narration, we learned more about the history and culture of Egypt and were very grateful to have such a good guide. His schedule was fine. The cruise ship was also very good, the food was good to rest. We rate five stars. Strongly recommend those friends who want to take a cruise and join his tour group without regret^~*. Thank you.
Talaat Abdo Guided Attractions presents professionalism, incisiveness and depth, a relaxed daily schedule, and takes us up early to avoid the heat. How it feels to take care of everyone along the way. Individual unwell or elderly visitors are cared for. The heat that was feared was non-existent. The whole trip, whether it was room accommodation or boat meals and transport comfort, and especially the travel experience, was beyond my imagination. I was impressed by the trip to the Nile in Egypt. Will recommend friends to join the group.
The 4 day Nile cruise was very and interesting. Our guide, Talaat Abdo, had a great knowledge of the history of the Egyptians. He was a great guide.
I liked the course! You just have to be careful about the extra expenses (incoming , tips, etc.) that could amount to 100€.
Excellent! An unforgettable experience thanks to all the logistics organized from start to finish, but I want to talk in parts: 1. Cruise: Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms, perfect terrace to relax. food is excellent, varied, some days international, others more traditional Arabic. buffets always (except when we go out in the morning balloon) 2. Service: Attentive, super friendly and very organized. 3. Logistics: Perfectly organized to make all program visits in 4 days.4: Guide: Thousand and thousand thanks to Khaled al saadi who was always attentive, cordial and attentive to the security and organization prior to the departures of the whole group, as well as offering us a very good time and sharing his knowledge. Fully recommended. 4 intense days, where you live first hand Egyptian history. The best way to live history, organized, planned and uncomplicated. Recommendation: Be prepared to be comfortable, hydrated and walk to be amazed at everything that has the magnificent temples of Egypt.
Allows you to make the main visits while sailing on the waters of the Nile, without taking head , good organization!!!
Plus: Characteristic cruise, very friendly staff and every excursion lives up to expectations. Prepared tour guides, we had a great time especially in Luxor with Mahmoud! Minus: food on the ship... spirit of adaptation needed; The excursions are relatively short, everything sells out within 1 hour almost always... Watch out for the hot air balloon ride... almost always canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions (?!)
Die Route: alle Hot Spots Oberägyptens auf einen Ritt. Das Schiff: Oldie but Goldie. Die Tour: erfahrene Guides und Fahrer mit Lust und Laune. Organisation: alle Transfers pünktlich und zuverlässig. Kommunikation zuweilen holprig bis zur Improvisation. Fazit: Musste gemacht haben, kannste nicht erzählen ....
I really liked this cruise, I loved it, on my YouTube channel Marcel Barrera & athe World I show everything in detail about my experience on this cruise. The food was varied and delicious, the room was very nice with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom, the terrace and pool were very nice, all the spaces on the boat were very good. I liked all the visits to the temples even though they were very short visits. The only thing I didn't like about this cruise was that our guide Michael demanded an extra tip for people who I don't know who they were, you are supposed to be paying for a cruise because you don't want this amount of tips, and tips are supposed to be voluntary , and when we gave him part of the tip, he wanted us to give him more and he got angry because we didn't, we didn't like that attitude. But otherwise I really liked the cruise and I recommend it 100 percent.
Great experience Very good service Very good service Very friendly and professional staff All around the place Everyone smiling in your face while you were at home
Excellent very honest, outstanding treatment, comfortable and quiet, breakfast buffet was diverse and kind and helpful staff
