We had a lovely trip on the Nile Cruise but I would recommend to take 7 days or more as doing it less days will be too rushed and you will feel exhausted. Egypt is a beautiful country so take the time to enjoy and absorb the history and culture. Big thank you to Khaled for his exceptional service. He is very passionate about the history of Egypt and is very accommodating to your requests would highly recommend!

The last of the 3 famous Aswan sites you will see is generally regarded as the best. Philae Temple was carefully moved to its current location (around 500 meters from the original site) when the construction of the High Dam caused surrounding Nile waters to rise. A short motorboat ride takes you to the island, where your guide will take you on a walking tour through the temple before allowing you free time to explore further on your own. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, Philae Temple has a beautiful setting on an island in the river which has been landscaped to match its original site.

The trip takes you through the standard itineary of the famous sights along the Nile river. The boat we sailed was Nile treasure and it is comfortable and clean boat. The food and service at the boat was good. Our guide Khaled was very knowledgeable and did a great job managing the big group. He was also very kind to assist us with booking our train tickets to continue our trip from Luxor. On the third day we could not make it to Luxor temple due to some delays but we will go there on the last day to make sure we have enough time instead of just running through the sight. Thank you for arranging this memorable trip!
Highly recommended trip with Khaled. A tour guide really cares about our travel experience, and always allow us enough time in every site. And always give us detailed information for each temple.
Great tour guide with knowledge, give us detailed information regarding every place we visited. Always give us extra time to browse around.
Guide was very informative and very passionate about his country and background highly recommend
You get to see all the historical sites and our guide Khaled explains everything very well and keeps an eye on you to make sure you are very well taken care of.
Great . A knowlefgable guide Talaat Abdo. Everything has been taken care off until drop off to my Hostel.
enjoyable first time cruise with lots of time at temples thanks to our amazing guide khaled. simply lovely
4 days comfortable fun exciting cruise with knowledgable and fun guide. 10/10 recommend
It was a very good experience for the 4 days I was there as we did many many visits and the tour guide gave lengthy and deep explanation of the stories behind many of the temples
An absolutely wonderful cruise with very kind and attentive staff! A big thank you to our amazing guide, King Mina, who was always smiling and ready to help. An unforgettable experience that we highly recommend!
Is a boat ( 3 stars cruise) is not the boat that the put in the pictures, super small cabin for three people, the guide don’t follow the itinerary the last day and for example we should stay in Karnak temple 2 hours and we stayed only one hour :( I felt we didn’t have enough time to the explanation and explore the temples. Good food and good service from the waiters
The guide King Mina is excellent, he is very knowledgeable in history. The boat is good and the food is good.
Talaat Abdo is an excellent guide. Knows in detail about the temples.
amazing experience! Talat is a super nice guide, he has everything organised and optimised to see as much as possible in this 4 days. He is very caring and trustworthy and tries to make everyone has the best possible experience. The cruise is super nice, the food is amazing and the staff super nice and attentive.
Talaat Abdo is the best guide!! He is very kind, he is always taking care of us, giving advices and very funny!!! And he knows a lot about everything of Egypt. So it’s been an amazing experience, we recomend it 10/10. The boat was awesome too, the tripulation, the room, the meals…
Talaat Abdo is the best guide we could have asked for. He has taken great care of us and made sure we enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot along the way!! He has made this experience truly enjoyable for us!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our Nile cruise on the Monte Carlo, the staff were all really friendly and kept us happy. The accommodation was good and the food plentiful, with the welcome breakfast bags on the early morning starts. The many tours were well organised and co-ordinated by Talaat Abdo who had 2 groups from different boats. The group was a bit too big but Talaat did a great job. Talaat was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable, who made every effort to include and look after everyone. He always made us smile and went the extra mile to get a pair of reading glasses back to us in Luxor after they were left in Aswan. We would highly recommend him
A wonderfull Tryp but a bad experience with the guide, a really good food on board, a bad guide that deal with customer like milk cows
Our guide for the 4-Day Nile cruise was Khaled he was absolutely amazing. He was kind and respectful and it turned our trip into an amazing experience. We saw everything we wanted to see and did all within 4 days. We are very happy and enjoyed every moment! Definitely recommend.
Khaled is the best guide ever. He is very generous with his time explaining every site and made sure every person is well taken care of. If you want to purchase an item , he makes sure you are not taken advantage and that all items are authentic. You need to make sure to ask for Khaled , he will not disappoint.
He spoke interesting story, and alwqys we have a free time.
He speak about only the important things and we understand it really good.
Khaled was very nice and helpful tour guide. He is sharing all the important informations about the temples and Ancient Egypt. He also made us visit to special occasions such as Parfume store and Spices store, as additional to tour. He is very kind person. Totally recommend him as your tour guide.
If you want to see temples.Cruise is more comfortable than others
Had a wonderful time at the cruise! Mina was awesome, he knew everything and chose the most interesting stuff to tell the group as well as a good amount of information. Can definitely recommend
Wonderfully experience after having visited 20 years ago
Khaled thank you my friend you are amazon guide
The trip overall was amazing, Khaled made sure that we got to see and do all the excursions we wanted to. The cost was very reasonable for what we got, the only thing that could be improved upon is to contract with a slightly more modern boat, but the one we had was as expected. The days start very early but are full and you aren’t left wanting for more.
Great value experience - floating down the Nile in a good room, with visits to the major sites. Khaled was an enthusiastic guide, was very flexible with everybody’s preferences, and navigated the slight chaos of Egyptian tourism very well for us. He was very good at getting us good rooms, held the boat back for us when we were running late and had the boat moved to a better position at one point.
Super immersive experience! Good and funny explanations of the sites, helped us to guide on the places and prepare all our tour in the ship+excursions+food+guides! 100% recommendation for mr Khaled! You will not find anyone better than him on the trip Aswan to Luxor!
We did the 3 night Aswan to Luxor cruise. The boat was great, the service was spectacular, the food was not good. We were on the Nile Jewel. It had a great top deck with a pool. Mina was our tour guide snd he was so amazing. He definitely went above and beyond.
The tour was a memorable one, especially because of our guide King Mina. He had been amazing in terms of explaining the historical relevance of the visits and created an amazing experience for us.
This was a more expensive but great experience. I was with "King Mina" and he was an excellent tour guide - really knowledgeable and excellent communication. The only real downside of doing a trip like this is that you're with a large group the whole time. Our group was about 35 people so that meant visiting all of the sites together, meaning we had to wait for people, we had limited time at the sites, etc. But the ship, City & Sea Adonis, was very nice - nicer than other ships I saw. Also, expect to pay an additional $100 USD for entry into the sites and tips for the cruise staff.
Very helpful in meeting our needs and responsive over messages before the tour started. Very knowledgeable with many years of experience.
Fantastic experience, must visit
Fantastic experience must visit
Our experience on the cruise from Aswan to Luxor was phenomenal. Talaat was our guide, and it wouldn’t have been the same without him! He was attentive at every moment, helping us with anything that came up as we spent those days exploring and discovering all the sites—an experience we will cherish forever!! We highly recommend his services and are so grateful for everything we shared!!!
The Nile cruise was an unforgettable experience and definitely worth it! Visiting the incredible temples and historical sites along the Nile was one of the highlights of my trip to Egypt. The itinerary was fascinating, the food on board was good, and breakfast boxes were provided on days with very early departures. The schedule was quite intense, with several very early mornings, and sometimes the visits felt a little rushed. There were also daily stops at perfume and alabaster shops, which felt too pushy and tourist-oriented. One detail worth considering is the hot-air balloon excursion. If you are interested in taking part, I strongly recommend including it in your package from the beginning. I chose not to book it initially, but when I asked later, the price had increased to more than twice what I expected. It is also important to consider the demanding schedule. The daily activities begin very early: the first morning starts at 3 a.m., followed by a 4 a.m. wake-up on the second day. The balloon ride would require another 4 a.m. start on the third consecutive day, so be prepared for several extremely early mornings in a row. Despite this disappointment, I had a fantastic overall experience. The Nile, the temples, the history, and the atmosphere made the cruise truly memorable. Our tour guide,, King Mina deserves special recognition for his knowledge, kindness, professionalism, and constant positive energy. If you are considering a Nile cruise, I would recommend it. Just be prepared for early mornings, a busy schedule, and a few commercial stops along the way. And if you have the chance to travel with King Mina, you will be in very good hands!
Excellent first experience in Egypt. Amazing history, temples and ancient artwork. Comfortable ship accommodation. Expert guidance. Pleasant company and good food.
Great experience. Many thing to see, temples,.good every day fooa fresh & tastie
Overall, I really enjoyed my Nile cruise and would recommend it to anyone visiting Egypt. The experience was absolutely worthwhile, and my tour guide, King Mina, was the highlight of the trip! He is an excellent guide: knowledgeable, friendly, always smiling, and very good at explaining the history and stories behind the places I visited. He also helped me navigate the constant hassle that tourists can experience in Egypt, advising me on how to handle persistent sellers, what was worth buying, and what to avoid. Having him as my guide made the experience much more comfortable and enjoyable. As for the cruise itself, the itinerary was fascinating, but everything felt quite rushed. Most days started very early, which can be exhausting, but it is also part of the experience and allows you to visit some truly incredible places. The food on board was good, and on days when I had to leave very early, breakfast boxes were provided, which was helpful. Each day also included stops at traditional workshops or shops, such as perfume and alabaster factories. While these visits were interesting, I sometimes felt the sales approach was too pushy and that the stops were more tourist-oriented than cultural. However, the guide reassured me that the products were genuine and that these were safe places to buy souvenirs. One point that disappointed me was the hot-air balloon experience. When I booked the cruise, it was stated that I could reserve the balloon ride later, so I decided not to include it in my original booking. However, when I eventually asked to book it, I was quoted more than double the price I had expected. I found the pricing insufficiently transparent, and in the end, I decided not to do the balloon ride. I would recommend confirming the exact price of any optional activities in advance. Despite this disappointment, I had a fantastic overall experience. The Nile, the temples, the history, and the atmosphere made the cruise truly memorable. And once again, King Mina deserves special recognition for his knowledge, kindness, professionalism, and constant positive energy. If you are considering a Nile cruise, I would recommend it. Just be prepared for early mornings, a busy schedule, and a few commercial stops along the way. And if you have the chance to travel with King Mina, you will be in very good hands!
King Mina is the star of the show! This man knows Egyptology like no one's business but is also an expert of the ins and outs of coordinating such an extensive experience. Clockwork is the name of the game and King Mina has optimized it. The all inclusive factor provides great convenience and cost savings. Although, it is hard to determine which ship you will end up on and so experience may vary. I was on the "City and Sea Adonis" and it was very good. Food (buffet style) was average but they gave you a lot of options so you can always find something to eat. The "to go" breakfast that we were given on days with early departures needs work. It was basically 6 pieces of various breads and it felt a bit too Carby for me. I gave mine away to a kid on the street the second time because I didn't enjoy it the first time. For me, the hot air balloon experience was a big decision because safety was a huge factor. In the end I am glad I went for it because it was totally safe and never felt like I was in danger. Also, the Nubian village is a great add on as well on the first day. Lastly the airport pickup could use some polishing. I was told to look for someone with a sign that says "George" and he wasn't where any of the other drivers. I think it's best to clearly state that the driver is holding the sign outside of the airport after the baggage claim.
We just completed a whirlwind 3 night Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor on board the City and Sea Adonis. Because we were trying to fit in so much in such a short time period, the days were long with early morning starts. “King” Mina was great. His knowledge on Egyptology was impressive. His handling of all the logistics of the 37 people in our group was also impressive. Shout out to the staff on board the boat as well. Our breakfast boxes to go, on our early mornings were extremely generous. We always came back to the most hilarious towel animals. This was definitely money well spent.
A really great experience – the quality of the food, the cleanliness and the professionalism of the staff are incredible. But above all, our guide, The King Mina, is a fantastic guy; he’s always on top of everything, helps you at every turn, makes sure everything’s under control so that nobody goes without, and, above all, he’s a friendly, kind and above all super-professional guy. Whatever problem you have, he’ll sort it out for you. 100 % recommended.
Loved the way King Mina managed this Cruise well explained, efficient and entertaining.
I had a great experience. The trip was packed with great activities. King Mina is a great guide. He funny, knowledgeable and patient.
