We had a great time on this 4-day Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor, including Abu Simbel and the guided tours. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, flexible, and accommodating, making sure everything went smoothly and adapting to our needs along the way. We received a lot of interesting information about Egypt’s history, culture, and landmarks, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The ship’s crew was also very friendly and helpful, and everything we needed was well organized throughout the trip. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and a great way to explore the highlights of the Nile Valley. Highly recommended!

Egypt Knight Tours were great hosts for our Nile Cruise travel. Nada was great with checking in with us throughout the trip and ensuring everything was going smoothly! A special thanks to Hani our amazing tour guide! He was extremely knowledgeable and shared his knowledge with us without hesitation! Thanks to Egypt Knight Tours for the hospitable and memorable experience!
Mr Hani was incredible on our tour. He was attentive and paid great attention to detail when explaining all the history and monuments. As two females travelling alone, Hani made us feel safe. He went out of his way to explain aspects in detail and show me the less touristy tombs at Valley of the Kings (which included a lot of walking!). I would definitely recommend Egypt Knight Tours.
We did the 4 day 3 night tour from Aswan to Luxor. It was wonderful. Throughout the tour we were in contact with the tour operator and could write her anytime. Our guide Mr. Mahmoud was really knowledgeable, great in explaining things and also spoke with a vocabulary that everyone could follow easily. ☀️ Everywhere we were we were looked after and we didn’t have to care for anything. All the drivers were also were friendly and drove carefully. The cruise ship was also nice, the staff at Ciela was also very attentive and friendly. For us it was perfect to come during summer time, because there were less tourists everywhere (temples, cruise ship, number of people in tour) and the heat is absolutely managable. All in all, it was the perfect decision booking the Nile cruise with Egypt Knight Tours. This will be a great long-lasting memory for us. 🫶🏼
Superb 4-day/3-night cruise on the Nile, aboard the Zénia boat. Direct airport-to-boat transfer by minibus. Very comfortable room. Lovely buffet. The rooftop is fabulous, a time for rest and daydreaming while sailing, and the pool to cool off. The visits follow one another. Our guide, Magdy, was truly attentive, patient, calm, with great culture and solid knowledge of Egyptology. He was excellent! Absolutely must do (again)..!!
Every site visited was amazing and our tour guide was a true expert...Mr. Magdy! The early mornings were tough though very needed to beat the heat of summer and make it manageable with the kids. The cruise is really one night and one day cruising with the other two nights sleeping at dock. A truly great experience even if the wait staff could be more attentive for drink services, especially at the pool and with meals.
A truly fantastic experience to see such amazing historical sites and it was made even better by a truly incredible guide, Mr. Magdy! A true expert in his field and went above and beyond throughout our trip to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. I would ask for Magdy again and again. As for the cruise it is not really a three night cruise. It is a three night sleep on the boat with only one night and two days cruising. Two nights the boat is docked. The boat was not as great as the booking site made it sound but it was still terrific and worthwhile. Early morning starts to beat the heat and crowds were difficult, but certainly the best way to go. Tipping may be challenging if you are unfamiliar with it as getting cash at any ATM is far from simple. Again a good guide makes it easy. Good food, adequate service, and good facilities are a nice base for exploring truly special places. Highly recommend if your on a budget.
Magdy was our local guide and he was the absolute best. He knew the history the culture and was a true professional. The tours were amazing and was easy for us to understand. Would highly recommend if you’re going to Egypt!
Mr Hany our guide was very kind, knowledgeable and moved some of the itinerary around for us to ensure we had an easier day on the day we flew. I should have read deeper (click additional info) in the notes that the starts were early as this was a challenge for our toddler. I sometimes felt the alone time around the temples could have been a little longer. Also if we had left for Edfu temple a little later, the crowds would have already died down by 5.30m (half an hour after opening) - as this place felt manic. The boat itself was much nicer than I expected. The food and service was good. Very enjoyable experience and lifelong memories of the temples banked.
This review is 5 ⭐️ because of our guide, Magdy. Incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, patient and organised, Magdy expertly guided us on our 4 day/3 night cruise from Aswan (including Abu Simbel) to Luxor. The schedule was busy but well paced and everything was well organised and on time (the early mornings were worth beating the crowds). This made up for the hiccup ON arrival, where we were informed that the (higher tier) cruise we initially, and specifically, booked was cancelled and that we would be on another boat instead but with an upgrade arranged by Egypt Knight Tours.
The tours were wonderful and thorough, tour guides were excellent, especially Mahmood (Abu Simbel) and Nada, and Eedo (nickname "Badawy") the Egyptologist in Luxor. He went out of his way to take us to a textile studio, a side interest, and to drop us at our small boutique hotel. The ship cabins need some substantial updating (Solaris I), and the engine fumes (benzine, CO) fumes from neighboring ships were very bad for our asthma. Those of us that suffer used our nebulizers often. I believe this may be true for all the Nile cruise ships, so future guests should be wary. The ship staff was especially wonderful, the dining staff was exceptional (thank you, Ahmad and Yousuf), Gaber was great on the upper deck, and Georgius in the Jewelry shop has become a good friend. One of our family is a difficult shopper, and Georgius catered to her specific needs and tastes.
Excellent from start to finish. Ship was luxurious. Guide was great. Food on the ship was great. Ate fruits and drank coffee and drinks with ice in them- did not get food poisoning so they use clean water. Price was very affordable. Thank you for showing me the wonders and making me feel safe and cared for!
This is a really special tour. We did a truly nauseating amount of research before picking one, but we were still worried that it wouldn't be perfect. From being picked up at the Aswan airport even when our flight was delayed to being dropped off at the Luxor airport, this tour was everything we had hoped for and more. Important to note is that Egypt Knight, the tour company, does a great job setting everything up for you, but a lot of the drivers/staff/optional tours are basically freelancers, so your mileage may vary. But if you're lucky, you'll spend four days on a private tour with Mr. Hani, the best tour guide in Egypt. He was so attentive and knowledgeable, and he really made this a special tour. We appreciated not only his information about the sites, but also his advice about how to handle hawkers and nuanced take on modern Egypt. We always felt like we were being treated fairly and professionally. The days start brutally early, so this is definitely not a tour for you if you want a relaxing, do-nothing cruise. But if you want to see EVERYTHING with an absolute expert, don't think twice. The boat is lovely. Larger than we thought, but it never felt crowded. It's kind of a shame that you really only have one day of being on the boat while it's sailing, but it's worth it to see so many incredible archeological sites. Thank you Mr. Hani! Thank you Renaissance Cruise Ship! Thank you Egypt Knight!!
Ship crew was very friendly and food was good. Relaxing at the sundeck was also great. But some included tours were not well organized... For example we had only a few minutes at some monuments (Edfu temple and Kom Ombo Temple). Some tour guides were professional and some quite horrible - especially in groups. Everyday waking up was between 3 am till 5 am because of the early sightseeing trips. That was not relaxing. Unfortunately the air pollution on deck was disturbing. In general a good experience to visit famous temples nearby the Nile but without much time to enjoy them and relaxing.
We (couple from NYC, USA), took this trip to ring in the NY on the nile. This was a great experience, our guide, Magdy, really made the trip informative and exciting. Magdy really had great timing and knew when we should be at the various sites so that we could have the best experience with the least amount of crowding (and believe me, in high season it was a sea of humans everywhere). Our group was about 20 and so, again, Magdy did a great job keeping everything together and ensuring that we got as much information and history as we wanted. We sailed on the Lady Mary and the ship was clean and the sundeck was nice. Cabins were nice too. Food was decent and the crew was very friendly and accommodating. You spend most of the time off ship visiting areas and so having ultra luxury on the ship was not really what was important to us anyways (save the $ and hit up the four seasons in giza or the ritz carlton in Cairo instead both of which were well worth it). Last note, communication was impeccable using WhatsApp. We were kept up to date with everything even when our flight landed 2 hours late!!! Even with the hiccup there was a driver outside waiting for us and he shuttled us off to join the main group which was excellent and shows that this company has experience and knows how to deal with issues that arise! Overall, enjoyed every minute of this packed cruise and tour combo, highly recommend.
Hossam was amazing guide. Ship was beautiful, cabins were clean and the food was good also for Italian standard. Cruise is 1 day and half of navigation, the rest of the time the ship is docked on the river and you visit temples.
I would like to leave a review on behalf of my customers, a family of 10, whom we helped with travel arrangements for Egypt. We booked a cruise through the Viator with the Egypt Knight Tours based on the good rating they have on the net. The cruise was largely a disappointment. While the food and crew on the boat were decent, the evening entertainment and quality of the rooms were nowhere close to a 5-star Deluxe, which was claimed by the Egypt Knight Tours in the personal correspondence prior to booking the cruise. Despite confirming to me twice the types of rooms the customers would get, they didn't have the rooms that were initially promised, nor were they on the top deck of the boat. The most disappointing was the transfer to Hurghada, which the Egypt Knight Tours arranged for an extra charge. It was a completely run down vehicle with AC that barely worked and suspension that was definitely not working and a driver that did not speak any English. My customers had to make the 4 hour drive with suitcases on their laps and the back of one of the travelers hurt so much by the end that he ended up not being able to do anything for the next several days. As a result of his illness, the family had to cancel the all day tour in Alexandria (booked directly with the Egypt Knights) and they spent countless texts going back and forth with the tour agency asking them to do the right thing and try to get a reimbursement on Alexandria. They refused and instead offered a couple of airport transfers and one shorter half day tour in Cairo. This was less than 25% of the cost of the Alexandria tour but my customers eventually agreed. They asked the Egypt Knight Tours to include an Egyptian dinner which they did but it was so bad that none could really eat anything other than the chicken that was served! I do not recommend this agency as they fail to keep their promises and provide poor-quality service!
Lady Mary was the ship allocated. We go one double occupancy cabin and one suite to accomodate us with our daughter in the living room. Service is excellent on board on expectation of good departure tips. The guide service for the various monuments from Magdi was extraordinary. Food at the buffet had a huge variety but was predominantly middle eastern. Loved the desserts specially the variety of Baklavas. They only serve Egyptian alcohol and some South African wine against payment. No other well known international Spirits are available. New Years eve party was just ok. Belly dancer was great. Ship seemed recently refurbished so was really swanky.
We had a wonderful trip and really enjoyed discovering Egypt through this beautiful cruise. Our guide was very professional and his explanations were interesting and useful. The visits schedule is well designed, allowing to discover the main spots and to enjoy navigating and relaxing on the boat. We appreciate the comfort of the boat and everything was very well managed and organized. We also appreciated the follow-up of Egypt Knight agents, their attention and promptness to answer our questions.
Had a fantastic cruise over Christmas . We got the ship Ms Renaissance, which was excellent and very clean and modern. The day trips were very well organised, and entrance fees all came complete in the package. Our guide, Magdy, was very friendly and informative and did whatever he could to give us a very memorable experience. The only negative was you didn't know what ship you would be on until the day before sailing.
We visited Egypt as a couple, and Magdy made our trip incredibly smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. He was always thoughtful, patient, and attentive, and his explanations brought the history of Egypt to life. We felt very lucky to have him as our guide and highly recommend him to anyone.
Overall it was awesome. But it was a bit stressful, too much time with the guide and not enough free time in the temples. Don't get me wrong though, our guide Magdy was great, and he taught us a lot of cool stuff. But it would have been better if we had more time to walk around freely. I think an extra night or two, with the same tours would have helped. Time on the ship was pretty limited too, mostly we were out at tours, but since there isn't too much to do on the boat that's ok. At least we got a few hours by the pool and some time in the bar. Also we would have appreciated more vegetarian options on the ships buffet. Anyways it was a great experience and we are very pleased with it. We would recommend this to friends.
We were on the M/s Lady Mary Cruise and Our Guide was Magdi.. It was a wonderful experience being on the Ship and throughout... Our Guide was exceptionally good... He made sure the entire trip was well organised, engaging and interesting. We were explained the history and significance of each monument elaborately and articulately! The cruise experience was also satisfactory with clean and comfortable cabins, variety of meals and warm and friendly staff.
The experience was great, proper coordination for arrival and departure. The food and amenities in the cruise ship met our expectations. Our guide Magdy was great in explaining about the temple and other attractions and making sure we are comfortable and free to ask questions. Overall, we had a wonderful time with knight tours and would highly recommend it to people planning to take the Nile cruise.
I'll start with the two good points of the tour before diving into some of the neagtive experiences. Read to the end to see the full picture so you can decide for yourself if this is a fair rating. I also learned that the tour guide and cruise ship are two separate entities that the tour company (Egypt Knight Tours) simply partners with to provide those portions of the overall tour. Our tour guide was Hani, and he was just awesome. Very knowledgeable - explained everything in a lot of detail, and made sure all our questions were answered. Also very patient and helpful as I relied heavily on him to communicate our issues on the ship with the staff of the cruise ship. Absolutely no reservations about giving him 5 stars. I also interacted via Whatsapp with Nada from Egypt Knight tours and s/he (no idea if it was a guy or gal) - I'll assume a gal for this review. She was quite responsive to my complaints and seems like she tried to get things resolved, but as I said earlier, it seems the cruise ship is a separate entitiy, so I had better luck with Hani explaining to the staff as he was there with us. The last positive (and the only one for the cruise ship), is the staff at the restaurant. They went above and beyond to ensure we had enough choices (as we are vegetarian), and even made some dishes specially for us - nothing extravagent, but things like hummus even though they did not make it for all the customers on a particular day, spicy sauce specially made for us, etc. The main waiter was also quite entertaining as he presented us with various puzzles to solve each day at our table. I give this staff also 5 stars. The reason my overall rating drops to 3 stars is the cruise ship (Semiramis I) issues. First of all, our shower was completely missing the temperature control knob. I mean it was obviously missing, so if they had done even a cursory check of the bathroom before assigning the room to us, they would have known this. Unfortunately, we also did not check when we first entered the room, and only discovered this when we went for the first shower. Needless to say, it was a cold shower experience. When we reported it, they said they would fix it by the time we returned from our excursion, but of course it was not! I reported it again and they sent someone when we went for dinner. When we retured, sure enough the knob was installed, but I decided to test it to see if it works, and it did absolutely nothing! Strike two - don't you do a basic check when you fix something? They came again, and the guy adjusted something outside the room to increase the water temperature, but told us to not use the knob. Strange, but ok. Shower started out warm, but in a couple of minutes, it was back to cold water. Strike three!! Completely unacceptable!! That was not the only issue either. WHen I tried to use the safe, as soon as I closed the door, it locked before I even entered the code!! Stupid me - I should have tested it before I put my laptop in the safe!! Ugh! A guy came and opened the safe with a special key, and Igot my laptop out. He ended up replacing the entire safe, but guess what - this one accepted a code to lock it, but when I entered the code, it made some sound indicating it was opening, but then flashed "Error" and remained locked. Luckily, I had decided to test it this time, so did not have anything inside. I did not even bother trying to get it "fixed" again and just left my valuiables in the room. Plenty of other issues too - AC that barely brought the room to 21.5 degrees and we are used to sleeping in a pretty cool room (around 19 degress), which we never achieved throughout the journey. Sink in the bathroom that did not have any hot water, which they fixed but it was still fairly flaky. The design of the toilet assumes you are like 5 feet tall, because anyone taller has to sit sideways to use it - extremely uncomfortable. Overall, if you decide to go with Egypt Knight Tours, make sure you are not assigned to Semiramis I cruise ship unless you want to take a gamble about getting a functioning room. I give them a 1-star rating. I know this is a long review, but hope it helps people in asking the right questions BEFORE the trip. I slso hope Egypt Knight Tours reads this and never again partners with this cruise ship, or insists that they have fully functioning rooms before partnering with them again!
For those of you considering this tour, here are a few things to note: 1) The condition of the room was significantly more worn than it appears in the photos. 2) There were frequent delays during the guided tour and at departure times. While this may have been due to the peak season, the delays occurred consistently and without any explanation. 3) The Wi-Fi was extremely poor. Although I was informed that only two people could use it in the room at the same time and complied with this rule, the connection remained unreliable except during dinner on Day 3 and Day 4. 4) I understand that tipping is part of the local culture, and I am fully aware that certain services involve tipping. The issue on this tour was not the tipping itself, but the way it was communicated. Rather than being presented as helpful guidance — for example, explaining what amount is generally appropriate for the convenience or service provided — tipping was repeatedly framed as something that must be done. The tone and repetition made it feel compulsory rather than voluntary, which was uncomfortable. I have taken other tours in Egypt where similar tipping expectations were clearly explained in advance, such as stating that a certain service typically requires a tip. In those cases, the explanation was straightforward and respectful, and it never felt pressured or unpleasant. Unfortunately, on this tour, the repeated reminders and the implication that tips were mandatory created an uncomfortable atmosphere and detracted from the overall experience. 5) Upon checkout, the tourists’ bags were collected in the cruise lobby, and I lost the Harry Potter–themed leather luggage tag that I had used for over three years. I understand this may have been my oversight, as I believed the area would be safe. 6) The tour program was quite crowded, and at times it was difficult to hear the guide clearly. However, I still appreciated that he made an effort to explain everything thoroughly, and overall the program was very informative. There were some minor differences from the itinerary, but they were not significant. That said, on both the first and last days, a noticeable amount of time was spent at shopping stops which are not mentioned in the itinerary. 📌 Please keep these points in mind when booking this tour
Our tour Guide Hossam (“Sam”) took good care of our group and gave us interesting history lectures about the temples and additional background information about Egypt! He is the best Guide and I would book a tour with him again anytime! The itinerary included: Philea temple Aswan high dam Abu simbel Kom ombo Karnak Tempel Tempel of Hatshepsut Valley of the kings Luxor Tempel Alabaster factory …
Our family had an amazing experience. Our tour guide, Hani Gaber, was very professional and knowledgeable about local history and customs. He adjusted the schedule as needed to meet our requests. I would highly recommend him for your trip to Egypt.
Highly recommended. The fact that all site entrance tickets are included makes it so much easier. All as advertised, great communication, no unpleasant surprises or stresses.
The cruise ship was decent, although bit tired. The room was good size and reasonably clean. The food was average but with good variety. The restaurant area was very smelly maybe because of open kitchen and lack of ventilation - we had to change clothes after every meal. Cruising in the Nile gave scenic views. The itinerary covered all main archaeological sites as described. On the negative side, the site visits were a bit rushed and planned on pick time which made it very crowded. Our tour guide (Hani) was informative and kept us updated about the schedule. The tour itself was acceptable; however, the experience was significantly affected by the way tipping was handled. We were informed of a specified daily tipping amount per person for both the drivers and the guide. While this was listed as excluded from the cruise ticket price, it was clearly stated that tipping was not mandatory. When we chose not to pay the suggested tips, the guide reacted very unprofessionally. He asked us multiple times—three times in total—to explain our decision, doing so in front of other travelers, which was uncomfortable and inappropriate. He insisted that tipping was mandatory, directly contradicting the information provided beforehand. At the end of the cruise, the guide did not say goodbye and behaved rudely. You should expect approx 55-60 USD per person for tipping.
Our guide Hany was extremely knowledgeable about every historical site that we visited. His organisation was seamless. From meeting on the boat to getting on transport to and from sites, entering sites and meet up points , there was never any wait. All 4 days were remarkably well organised. Thank you Hany.
Everything about our trip organised by Egypt Knight Tours was truly excellent and absolutely memorable. Our cabin on the MS Royal Viking was comfortable and beautifully appointed, the food was delicious throughout, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. The itinerary was perfectly planned, and Sam did a stellar job as our guide. His knowledge and enthusiasm made every sightseeing experience special. We had a fantastic time cruising along the Nile and discovering the incredible sites. Thank you for organizing such a wonderful journey. We'll cherish the memories for years to come!
The entire nile cruise was perfectly organised and executed right from the start, with the pickup from Aswan Airport, to the tours of the temples and tombs. The cruise boat - Royal Viking - was clean and the meals served were tasty and varied. Huge thanks to Mahmoud and Nada for organising this trip and for checking in on us daily by whatsapp.
Unforgettable experience. Everything was incredibly well organized from start to finish, and the trip exceeded our expectations in every way. Our Guide – Magdy: The Best Guide I’ve Ever Had Our guide Magdy was absolutely amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history and culture. One thing I really appreciated is that he likes to repeat the important information at each site, which helped us remember everything. He was patient, answered all our questions clearly, and made sure we truly understood the stories behind every temple and monument. My mother’s English comprehension is not the best, but she was able to understand everything Magdy explained — that says a lot about his communication skills. He also took care of every detail: ✔️ Transportation ✔️ Ticketing ✔️ Planning ✔️ Hydration and comfort during visits No problem was too big or too small for him. I have traveled to many places, and by far Magdy is the best guide I have ever met. Egypt Knight Tours – Excellent Service The agency in charge of the entire trip was Egypt Knight Tours, and they were fantastic. From the moment I reserved, they maintained full communication and checked in with us daily to make sure everything was going well and that we had everything we needed. They honestly made the entire trip stress-free. Totally worth the price for the level of service provided. Cruise Ship – MS Royal Viking Our boat was the MS Royal Viking, and I have no words for how great the service was. Every staff member — housekeepers, security, waiters, chefs, managers — was friendly, professional, and attentive. Drinks are not included, but the prices were reasonable. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. We felt comfortable, safe and very well taken care of. Overall This cruise and tour were a highlight of our trip to Egypt. Beautiful scenery, incredible history, excellent organization, and truly wonderful people. We highly recommend the cruise, Egypt Knight Tours, and especially our guide Magdy. Thank you to everyone who made our trip unforgettable!
We had an incredible experience on our Nile Cruise with Egypt Knight Tours! To be honest, I was a little hesitant to book this cruise because there were less than 200 reviews and you don’t know which boat you will be assigned until you arrive, but I ultimately decided to go with Egypt Knight Tours because all of the reviews were positive, all of the reviewers said that the boats assigned were good quality, and this was one of the few tours that included Abu Simbel (usually a $100 pp addition). I’m so glad that I booked because we had a very positive experience! The tour company reached out via WhatsApp the day before to confirm our arrival time and let us know that our guide, Hossam, would pick us up from the airport. Hossam picked us up from the airport, then took us directly to see the High Dam and Philae Temple since it was too early to check in for the cruise. Once we had seen the sites, we checked in on Golden Boat where we had lunch and free time for the rest of the day. Golden Boat was a wonderful ship! Everything was clean and modern, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. The itinerary was lovely (even though we had to wake up very early most days) with a good mix of iconic sites and rest time on the boat. Our guide, Hossam, was incredibly knowledgeable on Egyptian history. He was very professional and went above and beyond to ensure that we had the trip of our dreams. We booked a resort in Hurghada after the cruise and let him know that we still needed to book transportation, and he had the agency arrange a private van to take us directly to the hotel after site seeing in Luxor (at a very reasonable price too). Overall, we had a fantastic time! We were really able to fully immerse ourselves in Egyptian history knowing that our guide would take care of all the logistics. We highly recommend booking this cruise with Egypt Knight Tours!
Our experience with EGYPT KNIGHT TOURS was amazing. The package tour includes all the excursions and transportation plus the cruise package. Our tour guide HANI was with us from the beginning to the end of the tour. He even accompanied us to the train station on our last day. HANI was very proffesional and knowledgeable. Thank you EGYPT KNIGHT TOURS and HANI for making our trip memorable.
Just finished our 4 day/3 night cruise from Aswan to Luxor with Egypt Knight tours and tour guide Hany. I can not recommend this tour enough. Hany was amazing. He was knowledgeable about all of the sites and knew exactly where to take us to show us the best parts of the temples. He has an exceptional understanding of Egyptology and was able to explain everything to us in an interesting and engaging way. His English was nearly perfect and we had no troubles communicating. At the end of each tour we had free time with recommendations of what to see. His recommendations were always spot on. The choices of what we saw during the day vs evening tours was well thought out as well, bringing out the best of each site. A must do if you’re in Egypt.
As described, trip included a nice boat (ours was the Royal Signature Olivia), all tickets to temples and Abu Simbel included, and a tour guide (ours was Magdy from Egypt Knight Tours, who we had a great experience with). You run the course of the sites alongside numerous other boats at the same time, actually going through some of them when you are docked to get off the water and to the sites. Expect early mornings to hit temples early as the boats all have a system for completing the route on a certain amount of time. Food was buffet style and okay quality; however, service was very good and workers were nice. For Valley of the Kings, ask your guide about tombs that cost additional amounts like Seti I (incredible) and King Tut (historically important for archaeology but very small). They will let you know what they recommend.
Great experience! Beautiful scenery, comfortable cabins, and friendly staff. Our guide Magdi explained everything clearly, making the temple visits even more enjoyable.
We had an unforgettable Nile cruise, made even more exceptional thanks to our incredible guide, Magdi. He took us through the most breathtaking Egyptian temples and explained everything with remarkable clarity and passion. His knowledge of history was impressive, and he brought every site to life with stories and details we would have never discovered on our own. I highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to explore the wonders of ancient Egypt in the best possible way. An absolutely outstanding experience!
Magdy was a very kind and thoughtful guide. He was very flexible on the first day when our flight got delayed and was understanding when one of our party members was under the weather. He took the time to make sure that we understood the history and symbolism we would see across our tour, doing a great job of connecting the sites to the common history of Ancient Egypt. Our boat was clean with friendly staff and Magdy helped us to feel like family, including with other parties in our group. We highly recommend the experience.
Our Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor was absolutely unforgettable. Hani, our guide, was exceptional — incredibly knowledgeable, organized, and passionate about Egyptian history. He made every visit fascinating, from the temples in Luxor to the breathtaking Abu Simbel, which was definitely worth the trip. The cruise was smooth and covered all the highlights. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — if you can, ask for Hani!
We spent 4 amazing days and 3 nights exploring Aswan and Luxor with our tour guide, Hani, and it was truly a once in the lifetime experience. We visited 7 temples, Abu Simbel and the valley of the kings tombs. Hani was knowledgeable about Egypt’s rich history and mythology, he also shared everything with such passion. He told me he has 20 years of experience working as a tour guide. He had a sense of humour. If you’re visiting Aswan and Luxor for the first time, I highly recommend booking this excursion with your guide and driver so you don’t have to worry about arranging rides and figure out where to go. It’s definitely worth it!
We really liked our experience on this cruise. Our guide Hany, was very informative and helpful. It was nice to have one point of contact throughout the 4 days for all the sights (except for Abu Simbel) and despite the heat and the early mornings, he really made the tour enjoyable through his passion and storytelling. The tour was a well done programme and ticked off all the sights we wanted to see efficiently with still some time to relax on the cruise ship. It was nice to pay for all the food and tickets up front and not have to worry about all those logistics for the 4 days. The cruise boat itself was nice with a small but inviting pool and a relaxing sun deck on the room. While the room was sometimes noisy when we were docked next to another ship, overall it was a pleasant stay. One thing to highlight is that there is no free wifi - we both had eSIMs luckily with data packages otherwise we would have had to pay for wifi. The meals were good with a decent variety of food and attentive servers but the food was not labeled accurately. I am vegetarian and I explicitly asked if a curry was vegetarian as I knew the labels were not trustworthy, and one of the chefs told me explicitly it was vegetarian. I then bit into a piece of beef and went back to him to explain that it cannot be vegetarian if it has beef in it! He apologized but I would be very careful if you have any dietary requirements or allergies to double check for all the dishes!
This tour was a mixture of comfort, luxe and leisure! It gave us the opportunity to learn so much about the Egyptian culture and history but also allowing us to have ‘downtime’ to relax and sit back and enjoy what Egypt had to offer! Gamal our tour guide was so lovely, he really cared about what we wanted out of our tour as a group and as individuals and if there was anything we needed he was very much there to help! This was my second time coming to Egypt and I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to travel here! It really was an amazing and unique experience and I will cherish it for years to come! Thank-you Egypt Night Tours ! You did not disappoint!
I traveled with my brother and his girlfriend and we were genuinely impressed. The agency was punctual and professional, and our guide, Hany, was exceptional—deep knowledge, clear explanations, and constant practical tips. He highlighted what truly matters at each stop (temples and tombs) and made the history feel alive. The boat exceeded expectations: comfortable cabins, a varied buffet, a pool to cool off, and a very attentive crew. A memorable touch: they celebrated my brother’s birthday with a song and a cake—so thoughtful. Practical note: expect early starts (Abu Simbel and Edfu) due to distances and the ship’s schedule. Bring water, a hat, and sunscreen and you’ll enjoy it 100%. In short, a well-run, culturally rich tour that I highly recommend.
We had an unbelievable time on our Nile river cruise. Our guide Hassan Sam was extremely knowledgeable and it felt like he knew everything and could answer any questions. He was attentive to our needs and would always get us water or stop at a pharmacy or show us to an ATM if we needed it. The cruise itself was also really nice. We booked the Deluxe cruise and it was great with evening entertainment. There was not a lot of downtime between temple visits but we were glad to stay busy and see so much and did find some time to hang by the pool and the bar. This trip was truly 10/10 for our group of women!
We really enjoyed the tour! Everything went smoothly and according to plan. Hany was always helpful, with great explanations and useful advice on how to handle different situations during the trip. The cruise was amazing, and the staff took care of every detail. We truly had a wonderful experience!
I did a 3 days bike cruise, Sam was our tour guide and his work was exceptional, arranging everything to make things happen and tried to avoid the crouds!
The food was delicious, the room was clean, and choosing this tour was definitely the right decision. We were the only Japanese participants, but we highly recommend it! Our guide, Mr.Hany, gave very clear explanations and took great photos, so we had a wonderful time!
