I have done 2 Nile cruises. The first one cost thousands for my wife and I, the second was with viator for 700 each. Although the first was longer but the quality was similar. With the Viator trip we were able to go to Abul Simbel and a hot air balloon ride The value was so much better with the Viator trip. We've used viator all around the world and have most always had a good experience

We had such a great 4 day trip and tour. The boat was very very nice with super staff. Food buffet was good. Food staff were super nice. The absolute best part of the adventure was Ahmed our tour guide. He was amazingly good and attentive and knowledgeable about Aswan where he lives and Luxor where some of his family lives. Just fabulous 4 days. One night in Luxor we left the boat and walked along the port area down to the Luxor Museum and back. We returned a few hours later to the boat and found Ahmed waiting for us as if he were our parent waiting for his kids to come home for the night. Such a great host. And such a great trip
