Super-good!We had a nice experience there. Maria and Pola are super nice.

Day 1
1
"In the early morning, our driver will pick you up from your hotel or the train station, accompanied by our knowledgeable tour guide, for a comfortable journey to Abu Simbel Temple in an air-conditioned vehicle, along with a small group. Upon arrival at the iconic site, our tour guide will be ready to guide you through the magnificent Abu Simbel Temple, known for its colossal statues and intricate carvings. After the tour, you'll be transferred to your cruise, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch while soaking in the breathtaking natural scenery as the cruise begins its journey."
"After enjoying a delicious lunch aboard the cruise, the ship will set sail toward Kom Ombo. Upon reaching the picturesque town, our expert tour guide will accompany you on a fascinating tour of the unique Kom Ombo Temple, known for its double dedication to the gods Sobek and Horus. You’ll have the chance to explore the temple’s intricate carvings and ancient architecture before heading back to the ship to continue your serene journey along the Nile."
Day 2
2
"Upon the cruise's arrival at Edfu between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, our knowledgeable tour guide will be waiting for you in the lobby of the ship, ready to accompany you on a memorable excursion. You’ll then take a traditional horse-drawn carriage to the magnificent Edfu Temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. During the guided tour, you’ll explore the temple’s well-preserved sanctuaries and halls, gaining insight into its historical and religious significance. Afterward, you’ll return to the cruise to continue your adventure along the Nile."
Day 3
3
"After enjoying a hearty breakfast, it's time to check out from the cruise and have your bags ready in the lobby for departure. Our friendly driver will be waiting to pick you up from the Nile cruise, and together with our expert tour guide, you'll begin a fascinating day tour of Luxor in a comfortable, air-conditioned car. Your first destination will be the West Bank of Luxor, renowned for its ancient treasures. Here, you'll explore the world-famous Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt's pharaohs. You'll have the chance to enter three different tombs, each adorned with vivid murals and hieroglyphs that tell the stories of the rulers they once honored, offering a captivating glimpse into Egypt’s rich history."
Next, you will visit the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut, a structure dedicated to one of Egypt’s most iconic female pharaohs. This stunning mortuary temple, nestled dramatically against the towering cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, is a testament to the architectural brilliance of the time. As you explore its terraces and colonnades, you’ll gain insight into the grandeur of Hatshepsut’s reign, a period marked by prosperity, impressive building projects, and the pharaoh’s bold claim to power. The temple’s intricate carvings and well-preserved reliefs offer a fascinating glimpse into her legacy and the religious significance of the site."
"After you visit Hatshepsut’s Temple, your tour will continue to the famous Colossi of Memnon. These two towering stone statues, standing at nearly 18 meters high, represent Pharaoh Amenhotep III and once guarded the entrance to his grand mortuary temple. Although much of the temple has been lost to time, the Colossi remain an enduring symbol of ancient Egyptian grandeur. As you stand before these impressive statues, you’ll learn about their fascinating history, including the mysterious sounds they were said to produce in ancient times, which led to their association with the legendary Greek hero, Memnon."
After crossing to the East Bank, your tour will begin at the majestic Karnak Temple, a colossal complex that stands as one of the largest and most impressive religious structures ever built. Dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, Karnak Temple offers a stunning array of architectural marvels. As you wander through its vast precincts, you’ll encounter towering columns adorned with intricate hieroglyphs, a serene sacred lake used for ritual purification, and the renowned Hypostyle Hall, whose forest of giant columns creates a breathtaking and awe-inspiring atmosphere. Each corner of Karnak Temple reveals layers of ancient history and divine worship, making it a highlight of any visit to Luxor."
Finally, your tour will lead you to Luxor Temple, a magnificent site initially constructed by Amenhotep III and later completed by Ramses II. Located near the Nile River, this temple was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship and the veneration of the sun god Amun-Ra. As you explore its grand halls and elegant colonnades, you'll witness the temple's rich historical significance and architectural beauty. Following your visit to Luxor Temple, your guide will take you to local shops where you can explore traditional Egyptian handicrafts. Visit a Papyrus factory to see how this ancient writing material is made, an Alabaster factory to discover the art of crafting alabaster sculptures, and various Perfume shops to experience the aromatic traditions of Egypt. After a delightful shopping experience, our driver will transfer you back to your hotel, concluding your enriching day in Luxor

Reviews
We loved our tour on the Nile, it was only 2 nights so next time I would go for 3. The boat was comfortable, the food was nice, the staff was hospitable, and the views of the Nile were the highlight! We loved all the temples, especially Karnak. Of course not everything was perfect, we also experienced most of the things written in the previous reviews, but it was part of the charm and if you are a bit flexible, everything is just an amazing experience!
My experience was fantastic.
Pola salah / was very good guide its Perfect for our travel
I boarded in Aswan with no idea what to expect and left in Luxor wishing the three days had been five The first afternoon on deck set the tone for everything that followed nothing but water reeds and the occasional sailboat and absolutely no reason to hurry The cabin was small but spotless with cold air and a window that framed the Nile like a moving painting and the food was simple home style cooking that never once disappointed My guide Ahmed turned each stop at Philae Kom Ombo and Edfu into something I actually understood rather than a blur of dates and dynasties He knew when to explain and when to just let us stand there in silence and he never rushed anyone past a carving worth seeing A gentle well run journey I would repeat tomorrow
I started this cruise in Aswan and ended it in Luxor three days later and honestly it was the highlight of my whole holiday The boat was spotless and comfortable with a sun deck that became my favourite spot every afternoon and the cabin was compact but perfectly adequate with strong air conditioning and a window facing the Nile The food was included and always fresh with plenty of Egyptian dishes and the crew greeted everyone with genuine warmth My guide Ahmed was outstanding at every stop He explained the carvings at Philae Kom Ombo and Edfu in clear patient English and he always knew the right time to visit so we avoided the worst crowds I loved sitting on deck watching farmers and fishermen along the banks and Ahmed never once rushed us A calm well organised journey I would happily repeat
The guides and stops on the tour were amazing. The boats.. yes we had to do two boats were horrible. We were put in a staff area and hallway was under construction and there was a horrible chemical or gas smell that immediately started to give me a headache. We asked for another room and was told the boat was full. No other passengers but the one other couple on our tour was put downstairs. So we said we would just get off and cancel then, we couldn’t handle the smell. So then we got moved to another boat at the next stop, had to wait a few hours on there until we got another downstairs room around 9pm.. it was a 345 am pick up that day so we were unable to nap, shower, unpack all day that day. The other couple got a normal room, we again got a hallway with only staff on it, dirty carpet, reeked like smoke, porthole windows only and so dirty you could barely see out of them. Only one outlet worked in the entire room, hairdryer didn’t work (manager was very condescending when I asked for a new hairdryer). He said he would fix, never fixed. No WiFi in our area, stained chairs. Just gross, we were in room 101, looking at bookings online for the boat passages rooms are 200+… don’t book this tour!
A mixed review: Mostly good. The activities were excellent, especially the 3 day trip on the Nile. The boat was great: not crowded, lovely food, and easy cruising…but only one day on the Nile. The first day was a loooong car ride to Abu Simbel Temple near Aswan. While an interesting site to visit, 4 people plus driver were crammed into a smallish car with so-so air conditioning for 5 hours out and back. This was not fun, and we watched many air-conditioned busses and vans on the road, while wishing we has some leg-room and fanny space in the car. One of the passengers was on our tour, but one was an extra. The second day was great, Jaz Elite boat was comfortable and offered delicious meals.Tour leaders at Kim Ombo and Edfu spoke good English and had interesting info. Third day was an early exit from the boat, with the day spent at several temples in Luxor. So, this 3 day boat excursion was really just 1 day on the Nile. The remaining time was spent in touring various temples in Aswan and Luxor with tour guides. The guides were fine; they spoke good English, arrived on time, and had good info. The local organizer could have made the long ride to Abu Simbel more comfortable and asked us if we preferred horse buggy (NO!!) of alternate transportation at Kom Ombo. This was arranged at my request, at some minor extra cost.
-Cruise nice good food -Guys tour are ok -But experience with the pick up. They send us a small car (we were 4) plus driver 5, so uncomfortable terrible . For 4 hours go and 4 hours come back . 1 day. Pick up 4 am go to Abu Simbel come back to cruise 3 pm only we have lunch and dinner And day 3 - check out 8 am so cruise is not total 3 days
Decent boat, decent food, relatively big boat, helpful staff, tour guides were OK - incredible location on the Nile.
The cruise staff were very accommodating and courteous! The food was delicious and they offered a variety to accommodate guests. The facilities and rooms were clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed visiting all of the historical sites!!!
Samar was a lovely tour guide, very friendly and informative. She made it a wonderful experience. Thank you Samar!
It’s a decent cruise package. Handler did ask for $100 usd extra 1 month before, so do be careful prices can change. The drivers and guides were mostly on time. Boat was alright. The food was very mid, but tips plus other charges I found be quite reasonably priced. 1st and 3rd day excursions were exceptional, while edfu by itself in day 2 was a bit boring. Was very surprised to get a private guide for Luxor. Nervien the Luxor guide was simply amazing in giving clear explanations and recommendations throughout the day. All in all, would still recommend.
We truly enjoyed the cruise and our tour of Luxor with Nervien. The organization and coordination were very smooth—there was never a moment when we felt lost or confused. We felt very well taken care of, and Enjy was very communicative and helpful throughout. The cruise was definitely worth the money and exceeded our expectations, with a lovely boat and great food. The crew was delightful—very polite and helpful. Nervien made our Luxor experience unforgettable, sharing a wealth of interesting background and history. The tour guides in Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo, and Edfu were also excellent. Highly recommend!

Nervien was very knowledgeable and exceptional guide. She made the experience very enjoyable.
They cancelled a day before the cruise. They offered as alternative to take the same route via taxi/hotels with a 25% discount. And that is the scam, some poor traveller will accept it for lack of other options and they make a nice profit. At least they did refund fully after I insisted that they cancel.
I'm not sure that my disappointment can be put into words. Overall, the tours were "fine" (Our BEST tour was led by Vena from PIA Tours - I HIGHLY recommend her!) and Omar (our main point of contact) was very accommodating and super responsive; but Omar is not part of the boat crew, and this review is specific to the cruise itself. To begin, the crew segregates people on the ship. There we actual signs on the table during food service that said: "Chinese group", "Korean Group", etc. We were seated at a table with other people of color and no sign. I will leave the mediocre food off of the review; that just was what it was. As a group of 3 women celebrating my birthday, we initially thought the extra attention from the ALL MALE staff was nice; that quickly ended by the second day. By the second night, we were sleeping with scissors, forks and sticks and had our luggage stacked in front of the door. We refused to use the pool (for fear of wearing bathing suits), only wore jogging suits (it was 80+ degrees), and wouldn't go ANYWHERE alone (if one went to the bathroom then we ALL went to the bathroom). The cruise director aggressively propositioned one friend, the bar tender basically stalked the other friend, the gift shop man devised a plan for us to follow him to a secret, undisclosed location once we docked, and the chef LICKED MY NECK when we were leaving. Overall, what could have been a relatively decent experience was completely ruined by the staff. Never have I been more disgusted or felt more unsafe; and I travel a LOT.
Definitely recommend this tour. We opted for the 3 day cruise as we had an already packed schedule and this one worked into our timeline perfectly. Enjy organized everything exactly as stated in the itinerary and was very responsive throughout the entire cruise making sure everything was going okay and giving us our schedules for the following day. The boat itself was wonderful with extremely friendly staff and great food!! can’t recommend the food enough. we knew ahead of time that our day in luxor was going to be a long one as you are scheduled to visit 4 temples in one day (worth it) and it definitely was long but our guide for the day, Maria, was so lovely and friendly it made it all better. She regaled us with stories of the pharaohs and even had us acting out as certain pharaohs and their family relations and really made it memorable. we added the hot air balloon experience and highly recommend. the views over luxor are insane, you fly right over so many temples! i was scared of the balloon before riding but it was not bad at all! We had an excellent pilot and smooth landing. Thanks to Enjy again for being there for our every question and organizing the most perfect days sailing the nile. Our tour group became one big family during the trip where we regularly hung out with each other on the boat and took many group photos for great memories

We became so close with our fellow tour group we now feel like one family and really enjoyed the trip together and took many pictures with each other as well.
It has been a really well organized cruise. First of all, myself being from Greece, I was impressed from the ancient sites we visited during the cruise. The temples are so impressive, the constructions so colossial and dominant, some temples were being built for more than 2 thousand years! When visiting Egypt you always realize that at some points there will be some moments of poor communication or organization but to our cruise it was REALLY UNBELIEVABLE how Enjy, the lady that served as our agent for the cruise, was following up with us every hour 24×7 to make sure we faced zero issues. Enjy could arrange a driver at any spot, sort out any contingencies ANY MINUTE, EVEN AT 04.30am!!! She has been so helpful and by far one of the most professional persons we have ever met! All we had to do was call her and then she could iron out ANY issue or contingency! Moreover, the history guides she had chosen for our visits to the sites were among the best with Maria, the last one in Luxor, being such an educated and gentle lady ready to explain everything to everyone with all the patience of this world. Even the chaos on the roads was somehow ironed out thanks to Enjy and the way she would coordinate the drivers, where to wait, how and when! Thank you for this wonderful experience, seems like we dived into ancient history and learnt SO MUCH!
The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was good and had vegetarian options in every meal. The best part of the trip was the trips in Luxor. Our guide (Shady Waheed) was simply amazing and one of the most humble and knowledgeable guides we met in Egypt. Will recommend him 10/10.
We boarded in Aswan and experienced a beautiful sailing down the Nile river to Luxor. Our guide in Luxor, Marian, was great, showing us all the sights and many interesting hints, we enjoyed Egyptian sights all day in Luxor and were very satisfied with the guided tour there
I believe that there is no such thing as 2 night cruise to begin with. All the cruises seemed to have 3-14 night schedule, so when you book this, the operator will "squeeze" you into another cruise that somehow matches your schedule. You will be communicated via WhatsApp what is going to happen, and what you will need to do, etc... I had to change the cruise in the middle of night, when the cruise I was on, suddenly changed the schedule due to the demand of the passengers. Some of the guides organized for the tours seemed tired, and unenthusiatic. An interesting way to visit the sites along the Nile, but I wish that I would have known all this in advance. Enjy, the organizer, tried her best to make things happen, but still I have to say the whole trip was a bit choatic. Be prepared for a bit of chaos. Not recommended for the people, whose schedule is tight.
A luxurious two-and-a-half-day journey from Aswan to Luxor aboard a comfortable ship, disembarking along the way to explore ancient ruins. Seeing is believing—highly recommended. The guide in Luxor is very knowledgeable and offers exceptional hospitality.
I choose 2 cabins in the deluxe boat but the boat was old. The beds were single and the bathroom in one of the cabins was leaking water. Food in buffet was okay. The rooms were in the first floor and we could hear the motor all the time (including by night) which can be a bad experience for people with light sleep. Staff was good and the experience is good too. The tours guide were very good except the one in edfu, arrived late and when we should be in the queue to enter made our group separate with different unknown people just to get us all in a store of a family member and made us be the last to enter, it would be good have more time to explore the temple. The last day in Luxor there is a lot of things to see in a short time it would be better to start in the day before (the boat arrive to Luxor in the afternoon of the second day and we had nothing to do that day).
I first want to say Enjy and Omar were amazing and very attentive. They answered every question very quickly and helped us the whole time especially when there were issues. The very poor part was the cruise. The cruise was veryyy cheap and were looking to get every dollar out of you the whole time and even demanded money at the end. It also did not look like the photos and was a very old ship with an after taste of cigarettes. When we first boarded the ship, what seemed like the cruise director was very rude and said we are not supposed to be on the ship. As foreigner, this was both very scary and annoying. After calling and texting Enjy (who saved us) the director suddenly switched up and showed us the itinerary and our room acting like he didn't tell us to get off his ship a few minutes ago. This was a HORRIBLE start to the cruise after a 4am wake up. The other staff on the ship was very nice but did not really speak English so that was hard. For example, we asked for sprite or Fanta a few times and every time we got a coke. We tried to correct him but when nothing was done we just accepted it. The ABSOLUTE worst part was at the end. They called our room at night to pay for the drinks, and yes you had to pay for everything like water, soda, coffee, etc. Then they asked for a tip and we gave a tip that was reflected of the service we received (this is the definition of a tip btw). HOWEVER, they both called our room and knocked on our room demanding a bigger tip. Also, this was around 10:30pm and we had to wake up at 3am... This was again a very scary and quite frustrating because the whole point of a tip is that it's reflective of the service (which lacked heavily) and we are not obliged to give a tip, but to be yelled at and demanded more for a tip was just absurd. We just gave them a more to get away from them. Again, Enjy was great but the actually experience was just plain bad and we were looking forward to getting off the ship sadly. This is just the tip of the iceberg, but you get the picture.
The customer service was excellent. Enjy was really helpful, informative, and responsive. She answered all our questions and kept us up-to-speed on our itinerary.
Great experience overall 😊 Very friendly staff, delicious food and dedicated guides. We loved the experience. Also, felt very safe at all the times 😊
The boat was excellent and the guides they provided Enjy and Nervien were wonderful. They have laundry service. Drinks do have additional charge.
Our cruise experience was very pleasant. The common areas were clean and tidy, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and cheerful. The agency guide, Omar, was very available to answer questions and queries, always contactable and concerned about us. We managed to do all the excursions that were described in the program, plus the balloon ride (phenomenal).
The organization was very good, the operator was always available and our last guide, Nervien, was friendly and gave us good informations about the history of the temples.
Luxor tour was amazing especially the valley of the kings. Tour guide was very informative and was very nice. Photos were great
The food was good. You can always find something that tastes good. Our tour guides were knowledge about the temples that we visited. The trip was value for money.
We had booked the 3-day ‘Deluxe’ Nile cruise with full board. The 5-star ship was called MS Nile Crown III. The cabin was nice and large and the ship's furnishings were luxurious. The food was nothing special. But the restaurant staff were very nice and helpful. Also the maid service was good. Unfortunately, however, the receptionists and porters - especially the receptionist Mohamed - was cheeky and rude. He took our passports at check-in. When we asked when we would get them back, the answer was simply ‘after dinner’ without a "hello" first. When we came back to the reception after dinner to collect them, he just told us that we would only get them back ‘tomorrow’. Another guest was prevented from leaving the ship when it made a stop for a city tour, as he wanted to leave the ship on his own without a guide. After he asked the porter if he was a prisoner, the porter simply replied ‘one moment please’ and continued to block the door and asked the receptionist something in Arabic. After a short discussion, the porter took his hand off the door handle, so that the guest finally could leave the ship. Another negative point was that there wasn't even any water in the minibar and we didn't receive any from the guides during the excursions. At check-out, the receptionist Mohamed opened the envelope with our tip and did not agree to it. We had given more than enough tips for this service. He even demonstratively showed the contents of the envelope laughing to the porters and wanted to humiliate us. We were forced to tip more or he would not have completed the checkout process. This is not at all worthy of a 5-star ship and a ‘deluxe’ category and is the lowest drawer.
our guide,Maria explained details so kindly. she is powerful and made our trip great! Enjy always support us and we had a memorable experience from Aswan to Luxor.
The guide was very good, she explained everything in the best way possible, was very attentive at all times and answered our questions. 100% recommended.
The Nile Cruise and the tour guide from Aswan to Edfu was absolutely amazing! Samy, our first tour guide, was so knowledgeable and such a genuine man. He loves his job and you can see that. Samy took us to all the places at a very good time and he explained to us everything we had to know about each place and also gave us opportunity for photos. The Nile cruise worth absolutely 5 stars for the crew, the food and the room. BUT! We docked in Luxor one day before we met our 2nd guide Monica and the tour the last day was packed with visiting all the temples in just a few hours in the scorching heat 45°C. It was too much to do in one day when we could have done at least 2 temples the day before when we arrived in Luxor just to save us from having to go out in the hot sun after 12pm. We really had to quit the tour by 1pm as we couldn't handle it. The experience was completely different from what we had with our guide and driver in Aswan. Very disappointed from this part of the tour.
We had a bad surprise at the beginning because around 2 weeks prior to our embark we were communicated that the price increased almost 150 dollars per person due to a national holiday (which we had asked about previously upon buying it (3 months ago) and they said it wouldnt change anything). We enjoyed our time in the cruise and communication with Omar and Enjy was fast and quick, and they were helpful. The boat was alright, food was good but unfortunately not many vegetarian and gluten-free options. The staff was very friendly and nice. The tours in the temples were nice and the guides we got were nice, friendly and informative as well. The hot air balloon ride was cancelled on the prior night (not the company's fault as it was a government's call), but many locals said it happens very often and it is actually more likely cancelling than not. So dont know how worth it is to buy the package with the balloon included. We quickly got the refund and it was fast and easy, which is good. Overall, the agency was good and helpful, our only recommendation would be being more transparent about the price because we werent expecting to be changed 150 more pp so close to the date.
Our operators Omar fromCairo and Enjy from south Egypt made for us an amazing program!!! Omar was responsible for organising our program in Egypt and find the right people to be with us during the whole trip. Enjy carried out our transfers, our schedule organising and guidance to the monuments.. With those 2 (Omar and Enjy), we had no worries during our cruise and roadtrip tours!! They organised our airport pick up, our excellent tour program and all our transfers through Egypt. They both were 24/7 available for us and made us feel very safe and sound.. They texted us lots of times during the day to check on us if everything is fine and inform us about the program...Also, Omar arranged for us an amazing last minute Balloon fly on the check out day of the cruise, to make us more happy.. This activity was extraordinary!! We totally recommend their service!! Thank you for all Omar and Enjy!! ❤️😊 As for the cruise: The boat and the establishments are in very good shape. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with big windows and amazing Nile View. The restaurant, bar and reception are beautifully classic decorated. There is plenty of tasty food on buffee and the manners of the crew are excellent!! Especially our waiter Titu and Mohamed the receptionist, were very kind and friendly to us!!😊 The cruise provided us a belly/forklore dance night, which was very wonderful!! Last but not least, there is massage service in very good prices. Manu is a highly skilled profesional therapist in body/facial treatments. He took our foot pane away and relax our body to go on with the next days program, and we thank him!😊 As for the tours: Private Tour on Aswan Dam, Temple of Philae, Unfinished Obelisc and Nubian village: Our driver Titu was very careful and kind. We loved his manners.. For our best ever guide Yasmin, there are not enough words to describe how lucky we felt that we met her!! Except the fact that she is an egyptiologist with endless knowledge of history, who has the skill to explain Egyptian history easily to audience, she is so kind and nice person that made our day amazing with her smile and her energy..We stayed together much more than expected, because we deeply enjoyed each others company!! We discussed for Egyptian way of life, not only for historic facts and we really appreciated her introduction to the local life of the Nubians.. We had never imagined such an unforgetable day with a guide.. Yasmin is a Friend for us, from now on!! Thank you Yasmin for the unforgetable memories!! ❤️😊 Tour on Ambu Simbel: Everything were well prepared through our transfers and our private tour guide Ahmed was very knowledgable, kind and friendly. 😊 Tours to Edfu and Kom ombo: We admired these amazing landmarks. This stops are really worth it, because you have the oportunity to learn quickly some highlights of the history of all Egypt, in a small group tour. Balloons on valley of the king: Our guide Mohamed were with us from really early on the morning, for picking us up from the cruise and help us with all proccedures before and after balloons. He was very kind and supporting.😊 Private Tour on Valley of the kings, Hatsepsut Temple, Karnak, Luxor Temple: This magnificent private tour begun with our lovely guide Hasaan. He is a history expert and a very nice and kind person. Despite the extremely hot weather circumstances (38 - 40 degrees) , he didnt avoid to explain us everything and make the tour properly.. It is obvious that he is an egyptiologist with many years of experience.. Of caurse our driver Coco helped a lot with his well airconditioned vehicle and his safe driving, and we thank him, too! 😊❤️ Totally, our experience from Aswan to Cairo with Nile cruise and roadtrip tours was something extraordinary!!! 😃😃As Omar told me on the begin, our Happiness is his Happiness.. So Omar after all these, I guarantee you that we are SUPER Happy!! Thank you for everything!! See you next time!! ❤️❤️
This cruise was the highlight of our Egypt trip. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel, everything was well-coordinated. The cruise ship was elegant, the itinerary was balanced between sightseeing and relaxation, and the guide was both funny and knowledgeable. Thank you for making our vacation unforgettable!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this cruise exceeded all my expectations. Booking was easy, and communication was clear throughout. The room was spacious, the Nile views were breathtaking, and the included tours were well-organized. Would definitely book with the same company again!
We did a Nile cruise in April, and while the experience onboard was enjoyable, the handling and communication from the organizer were frustrating and disappointing. The good: The ship was lovely, the food was well-prepared and sufficient for the number of guests, and once we were in the correct room, it was spacious and comfortable. The included tour guides were a real highlight, especially Maria in Luxor, who was warm, knowledgeable, and professional. The bad: Communication with the organizer was difficult from the start. Basic details like the name of the ship weren’t provided until the last minute—even when our hotel needed it for emergency contact. Instead of simply sharing it, the organizer responded by questioning why the hotel even needed to know. That kind of attitude only added unnecessary stress. The pickup was also mishandled. It was meant to be from our hotel, but they initially told us to meet elsewhere. Only after insisting did they agree to pick us up nearby. Even then, the driver was 45 minutes late. When we finally boarded the ship, the reception had no record of our reservation. We had to call the organizer ourselves to sort it out. Then we were placed in a room below deck, even though we had paid for the deluxe option on February 8th for a March 30th cruise—this was not a last-minute booking. When we asked to change rooms, one of the receptionists just said the ship was fully booked and stopped engaging. Only after calling the operator again did another receptionist, who was much nicer, find a way to move us to the proper room. After the cruise, my partner left a fair 4-star review, and instead of taking it professionally, the organizer started questioning him about it. I wasn’t planning to write a review myself—but seeing how they responded with inaccurate details and outright lies pushed me to share our full experience. They falsely claimed we booked last minute, which is untrue—we booked on February 8th for a March 30th cruise. They also claimed we were “upgraded for free,” which is again false—we paid for deluxe and were initially placed in a room that did not match our booking. We were not upgraded—we were simply moved to the correct category after we complained. I considered posting screenshots of our WhatsApp conversations to prove everything, but I’ll respect privacy laws and keep those private. Still, if you want glowing reviews, your service needs to match that expectation. In the end, while the cruise itself—the ship, the food, the guides—was memorable, the lack of organization and professionalism from the operator overshadowed it. I’m giving 2 star, not because the cruise wasn’t enjoyable, but because the way the operator handled everything around it—before, during, and after—was unacceptable.
perfect trip, friendly staff, we loved the trip advisor she was so kind the tour operator was very helpful and organized the tour perfectly thanks alot
Good time and enjoy and we will understand the Egyptian history and good clarification, thanks for anything.........
Will start with the good. The guides were amazing, having the guide organised by the tour operator who met us as the boat docked each day was awesome. The best was Maria, who showed us Luxor and was the most amazing knowledgeable and friendly guide we had all week in Egypt. Being an Egyptologist and able to tell us more than the normal run off guiode book details of the Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings was awesome, and seeing the vibrant tombs was breathtaking. Each stop we had good guides but Maria outshone them all. The Boat was comfortable and the food was well set out and well prepared. The staff were super friendly and great to all on board. The Bad, The tour operator them selves is a bit unorganised. It took us quite a lot of questioning to get details of of the operator on things like initial pick up and even the boat name and details. Even on arriving at the boat, the check-in staff did not know about us and we had to cal the tour operator to have her confirm the booking with the boat. We were initally assigned a sub-standard room, below the water line in a very musky, wet part of the boat, and had to be asked to be moved to more suitable room. If the tour operator would provide more details of the boat, itinerary and requirements for the trip beforehand, the trip would have been more enjoyable. Even trying to get the name of the boat prior to getting on board so we could update emergency contacts was an issue with the operator. The initial pick up was not well organised and was late with the drive being very unsafe, the driver taking the van to speeds of 160KM/H on the return trip making it unsafe for all inside. Once on board the boat though, the rest of the tour was well organised and every guide that was organised exceeded our expectations and seeing the old world temples and tombs was a memory to last forever.
The trip is well managed. You will get full use of these 3 days and 2 nights with cars and guides followed almost all the time. Staying on the cruise is the best experience in Egypt. Food is fairly acceptable. Note that you would prepare some small amount of cash for tips. We enjoyed it. Guide Neveim is awesome. some small flaws: you need to wake up early to catch some of the trip in Abu Simble and Luxor.
